obscure ROTTMNT typing headcanons that i used in wmas

this is how they type to ME (putting this under the cut cause goddamn this is longer than i thought LOL)

April - sherlockcorn

all lower caps

prone to LMAOOOO (drawing out letters to emphasize meaning)

repeat words (ex. yes yes yes yes yes)

uses punctuation but its inconsistent

. (<- thats it thats the entire message)

uses smileys like :)))))) but can vary

uses the :man_standing: emoji bc i think its funny

no punctuation

abbreviation bc his thumbs are too big sometimes

Answers to questions and comments in my Sherlock series

Thank you so much for enjoying my latest series inspired by BBC Sherlock (HERE and HERE). I noticed there were questions and comments so, here are a couple of answers.

@timberva : OH. OH SO GORGEOUS. AND PAINFUL OH MY HEART. I LOVE YOUR ART STYLE, WHAT MEDIUMS DID YOU USE?

Thank you so much for enjoying my art (even if yes, this series is a bit painful, I recognize 😅). My drawings are digital artworks done in Photoshop CS6 (on a computer running on Windows 10). I use an Xp-pen tablet. I sometimes use Procreate in my art too (not on this series but it happens)

@sherlockcorner : There's a fan fact I heard that John and Mycroft died before Sherlock,so here it is.

I had no idea about this fan fact but that’s how I see things too and that’s this headcanon that gave me the idea for this series. Thank you so much for letting me know ♥

@pepperonyscience : YOU KILLED JOHN?!?!?!?!?@?@ WHY WOULD YOU KILL JOHN?!?!?!

Killing characters is a bit of my trademark, I’m afraid (sorry). 😅 I killed this poor Dean Winchester from Supernatural at least 10 times and don’t get me started on Steve and Bucky (Marvel). I even drew their funeral. I’m one of these fandom weirdos who’s gonna click immediately when they see “Major character death” on A03. I guess that I love sad stuff and drama 😶

You want to add one more layer to the already thick sadness vibes of this post? The fact that, on the mantel, there’s no picture showing John old means that he died quite young (early, mid-fifties), unlike Mycroft that is shown on the polaroid image being over 80.

@labelleizzy : Sherlock outlives John?

In my mind, he does. Don’t get me wrong, I love fluff too and I’m all for a happy ever after kind of ending but as I’m a drama queen, I love the idea of one dying before the other.

Yes!! That’s the idea behind these posts! 🥳 Post 1 and Post 2 show exactly the same scene but 40 years apart. Basically, everything has changed (John, Mrs Hudson and Mycroft are not here anymore) and...nothing has changed as time seems to have stopped at 221B Baker Street making Sherlock a man out of time living in his memories.

✨The Sherlock Holmes Museum✨

221B Baker Street, London

hi turtles! here it comes: the photo post to the sherlock holmes museum. i'll include my favorite pictures & the information i could actually keep in my silly brain (probably none). i'll number the pictures, so you can keep track.

please keep in mind that the place was pretty crowded and i couldn't take pictures of everything in perfect quality/from the perfect perspective.

the entrance (1) looks like this:

i especially loved the little blue sign (2) above and the "policeman" (3) dressed in a victorian policeman outfit - with a sherlock holmes tie 🥹 (i didn't get a picture of that, i thought it'd be weird to take a picture of him)

the living room (4).

there were two comfy looking armchairs, a fireplace (sadly without billy the skull 😔), and in the right corner you see the chemistry set of Holmes. with the violin right next to it.

in general, they tried to create the rooms exactly how Sir Arthur Conan Doyle described them in his books. it was described as small but with two big windows to the west side (was it west?? i can't remember...).

on the left you can see the desk (5), which i think was used by both: Holmes and Watson (not 100% sure about that tho). on the right you see what was hung up on the walls (6) (the guns lol).

on the opposite wall of the fireplace, you see the shooting marks (7), made by Holmes: the intials "VR" stand for "Victoria Regina" (= Queen Victoria) (Holmes' way to say "long live the queen" i guess? this man was fun when bored...)

and i took a picture of the "The Times" page (8) which laid on the desk because... apparently! i was in the musuem on the day Holmes and Watson moved in together (*johnlock heart explodes a little bit*) and you can see the date somewhere on there... (i found it. but i think she lied to us... imo it says july the 5th and i was there on august the 27th (*dramatic voice* UNbelievable! *excessive eye-roll*) (okay maybe i misunderstood her??? idk))

let's move on to Sherlock Holmes' bedroom.

on the bed were laying two boxes (9). one was with... idk random Holmes-stuff (honestly can't remember what she said to that...) and the second was with the iconic deerstalker inside. funfact about the deerstalker: ACD never mentioned this to be a signature feature of our beloved detective. this only became a thing later on. some dude, whose name i can't remember (i warned you about my silly brain), just decided he'll use that in a film production, because it would be much more accessible for the common folk. deerstalkers were mainly used by hunters and the working class. because Sherlock Holmes, who lived in a rather wealthy neighborhood, was a man of the upper class, he would have worn a different kind of hat (10).
