Today's tea is one that Adagio doesn't seem to carry any more; which is unfortunate because this Green Assam is quite good! It's...a little closer to a black tea than most green teas are; brews as a green but tastes a little stronger and less grassy.
Today's knit is almost halfway through casting off! 23 leaves done and I think 27 to go if I am counting right. It's going to be quite a canopy when they're all done and blocked out, going by how much the one corner I pinned for this pic has stretched out!

Has an idea for a knitting project but doesnt know what special occasion to tie it to
#generally speaking i dont care for special dates but what i am thinking of is a special date kind of thing#like a cross between the celestarium shawl (knitted circle that shows northern hemisphere constellations)#and those night sky gifts you can set up where you can get a frame/pendant of how the night sky looked on a certain date#like not translating that to a full shawl but something that can be pinned ans mounted in a frame or something#but again. would need a date lol

When you're running a J-fashion Bring & Buy with your local lolita community but feel more like wearing mori kei on the day... mori lolita it is!!!
Morning temperature was 12°C, so I wore nylon tights, a knee sock for my bad left knee, a white lace cardigan and my newly thrifted pastel green jacket and a golden scarf. Was chilly but okay.
When I left the subway station on my way to the event two goth girls approached me and squealed over my outfit and how adorable and cute I was! They were even fellow fat girls. That was so precious!! Made my day from the start! I got an insane number of compliments that day! So much love!! Thank you everyone! That sure does wonders. Someone on insta commented "you look like a lovely flowery breeze of spring". They have a way with words for sure!
I bought the wrist cuffs at the bring & buy because they matched my outfit so well (and are very beautiful!). Also bought a red bonnet by Angelic Pretty and can't wait to style it with my little Red Riding Hood Cape (I've converted an old school Baby the Stars Shine Bright skirt into that cape). Both have lovely red velvet! A match made in lolita heaven! Couldn't resist the cute pins and lovely flower resin charms either. But hey, I have new work and more money to spend! So I'll support my local artists!! As you should.
