The mount of Laenor Velaryon, son of Corlys and Rhaenys II. Although Seasmoke was an already established dragon before the birth of Laenor, the Sea-snake’s son adored his dragon.

A pale silver-grey in appearance, and the same size as Tessarion. Seasmoke was more of a traditional-looking dragon, like Meleys and Silverwing. He was quite a handsome dragon to gaze upon. With a tepid temper, he was rather easier to train and pleasant to be around.

Quite nimble in the sky, Seasmoke wasn’t the most fearsome, but he made up for it with enthusiasm. Like his rider, Seasmoke was pleasant to everyone, yet only deeply cared for a select few.

Seasmoke was often seen flying with Meleys and Rhaenys, for the majority of his life.

Leanors life was comfortable.

There was no denying that.

However this had not been what he had expected when he agreed to marry Rhaenerya.

He had foreseen long days at court playing his part as the dutiful husband and loving partner, swaying ally’s to their side and rough training hours to keep his skills and show others what kind of king consort he would be, what kind of head his house he was. Now he trained day and night, he threw himself in the trill of the sword, he had beaten every knight and every guard in the red keep, every noble who desires to have a match with him was welcome to try but it was never enough, it didn’t matter to him how good he was when the one he truly wanted to fight was a coward. Never daring to come in front of him and Laenor deep down thanked the gods for it, knowing that if he had the opportunity to fight Ser Criston, he would kill him in the spot.

Ser Criston had not only killed the love of his life, he had forsaken Rhaenerya shortly after their wedding and turn his back to them turning into their enemy , shielded behind the skirts of Alicent as her lap dog meant that he had the freedom to run his mouth and try to insult his family. He had been there for most of it and was more than happy to shut him down. More than once he had demanded a duel between them for running his mouth, Alicent had him apologize in the spot and brush it off very easily.

What irked Laenor most was who they all think they were to judge his family, he might have not father the children with Rhaenerya in bed but he had been a father to them since he hold them for the first time, he had been there when each one of his sons was born, when they took their first steps, when they each bonded with a dragon. They were his sons. His, Rhaeneryas and Hardwin.

This is just a little thing that I have been working on and I was hoping to make a three fathers kinda content for the team black children including Rhaena and Baela. Have them get the interactions they deserve with their parents :(

All I can think about is how much Laenor loved his boys. No matter what anyone else said Jace, Luke, and Joff were his kids and he loved them so so much and I'm just 🥺🥺🥺

I still wish to this day that they had killed Laenor because not only is Seasmoke bonded to Addam somehow (the writers since season one have had this strange idea that dragons bond to many riders at once and that riders bond to more than one dragon) but he left Joffery and Luke.

He left his weeks old son named after his dead lover.

After he lost his sister and her child, who he publicly grieved for.

After he stated he would do his duty and prepare his children for the throne.

After finally being near his nieces, his dead sister's children, who he'd never really been able to be close with.

After knowing they had lost Ser Harwin.

I hate everyone who contributed to this decision.

Laenor au must commence. We can't live like this.
