Request: “ Um if you don’t mind can you write for mbav? Something along the lines of the reader and Ethan try a fake relationship thing cause Ethan asked her to? Like to get to Sarah/ or get her attention. And everyone is shocked cause they thought Benny and the reader would date instead cause all 3 of them are childhood friends”

Genre:Fluff mostly but I guess a little angst torwards the end

Warnings: some arguing and also it’s LONG, don’t say I didn’t warn you

A/N: This has a little Ethan x reader too but over all it’s Benny with a guest apperence from jelous!Benny torwards the end (or at least that’s what I was going for)

“Wait, you’re dating?! Like for real dating?!”

You clinged tighter to Ethan’s arm “Yeah, we are” but you weren’t. You didn’t want to lie to your friends and it was honestly making you kinda uncomfy but you were doing it for E.

“Ok so how long has this been going on for?” asked Benny. You and your entire friend group were gathered around his locker and you decided to break the news to them about your and Ethan’s “relationship”, which was all bullcrap. He had asked you a couple nights before to pretend. He was hoping it would get him closer to Sarah.

“Um, no more than a month” E said, trying to sound as confident as possible and doing a fairly good job at it. Of course you saw right through him but everyone else seemed to buy his act.

“Well that’s...interesting news” Sarah laughed awkwardly

“You think so? Why?”

The group went silent for a moment

“Well, just cause” Sarah started, nervousness laced into her tone “I mean I would have guessed that Benny and Y/N were going to get together eventually.” Rory and Erika just nodded in agreement while Benny tried to suppress a nervous laughter.

“I mean, come on guys” he said “ I’ve known Y/N for just as long as Ethan.”

“Yeah, but you two just always seemed, I don’t know, closer?”

“Well” Ethan interrupted “ seems like you were wrong on that one.”

Suddenly aware of how rude she sounded, Sarah babbled some lame excuse and left quickly, face red from embarrassment. Rory and Erika left as well, each in their own direction, but not before congratulating the couple once more. Benny was the only one left.

“You good Benny?” E asked

“Yeah, I guess it’s just interesting seeing you like this”

“I hope you’re not mad or anything I mean we…” you were quickly cut off by Benny

“No, no, absolutely, not! I’m really happy for you guys! My two best friends are in love, that’s really cool!” A pink tint made its way onto your cheeks hearing Benny say “in love”, even though you knew it wasn’t true. E smiled at you and hid his face in your hair. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he placed his hands on your hips, swaying you two back and forth for a moment

“Alright, well I gotta go. Chem starts in a few” you told your boys and headed to class, not before hugging both of them and leaving Ethan with a quick peck on the cheek

As soon as you got to class however, you texted your “boyfriend”

“Think that went pretty well”

“I think so too. Everyone seemed to buy it!”

“I know!” you said and the conversation ended like that.

You switched your attention back to your teacher, who was discussing your next assignment but even though your eyes were on her, your mind was replaying Sarah’s comment on repeat. You and Benny, huh? You couldn’t say you disliked the idea or that you’ve never thought about it. You’ve always felt different when hanging out with him compared to all your other friends.You felt more free and comfortable. You couldn’t stop the smile on your face from the fuzzy feeling you got just thinking about Bens and you together.

“So how long are we gonna be doing this for?” you texted Ethan. Now that you thought about it, you could never date Benny after this. The sudden realisation made your stomach twist in knots. He would never even go on a date with you if he thought you to be Ethan’s ex! Bro code or whatever but you couldn’t blame them!

“I don’t know for sure, I don’t see why it should last more than a couple months.”

“Ok” you didn’t mind helping E. He was a great guy and one day, some amazing girl is gonna see that and be all over him, even if it’s not Sarah! And he’s going to fall in love and have a beautiful wife and a happy family and this thing you are doing right now is just gonna be a silly high school memory to look back at. You tried not to overthink everything like you usually do and go with the flow, have fun.

It was surprisingly easy to do. Holding hands and occasional cheek kisses didn’t mean much and you never had a “proper kiss”, telling everyone you were simply not fans of PDA. It didn’t feel much like you were a couple, just closer friends. Touchier.

About 4 months down the line, you and Ethan go on your last “date”, which really just meant pizza night at Morgan’s.

“Thanks for all this Y/N, I know you didn’t have to and it might have been awkward at times but it means a lot that you went with it all this time” Ethan says sincerely while pouring you a glass of soda

“Don’t be silly E! You are one of my best friends. I would do anything for you.”

“Yeah but, now you and Benny won’t be…” he didn’t finish his sentence, as if he wasn’t sure if bringing this up was even a good idea or if it was gonna make you mad. You told E about your crush on your best friend not long after your first day as a “couple”. You couldn’t lie to him and quite honestly, you needed someone to vent to. The more you thought about Benny, the more it hurt and while you weren’t mad at Ethan for bringing it up now (you knew he had the best of intentions), it was putting you off

“Let’s not talk about that tonight” you said softly

“Right, yes, of course! Sorry” you giggle and reached out for your glass of soda, raising it up

“A toast!” you declared dramatically, making E laugh “To our breakup!” Ethan raised his own glass and clicked it with yours

“To our breakup!” he said before you both took a sip of your drinks

You laid down on the couch, getting ready to watch Scare Finder. Your head was resting on one of Ms. Morgan’s decorative pillows and you placed your feet on E’s lap. He rolled his eyes at you and you giggled

��I love you!”

“I love you too babe” he joked before laying down next to you and wrapping you in a hug. The couch was a bit too small for the both of you to lay down side by side and you felt the left side of your body hanging off the edge but E’s arms were around your waist, holding you and you felt safe

“Can we..” Ethan whispered nervously “can we keep cuddling during shows even if we aren’t boyfriend- girlfriend anymore?”

“Yes of course” you giggled

“Good, cause this is really comfortable” he whispered in your neck

“I know, I love it too”

Your breakup was a much bigger deal than you anticipated.Your friends seemed not only shocked, but heartbroken too. You didn’t tell them anything about why you ended your relationship, saying it was too early and you didn’t feel like talking about it but that you were still close friends and nothing was going to change

Things went back to normal afterwards, except now you were single and so was Benny and you couldn't help the invisible pull, dragging you closer and closer to him. Everyone of his silly jokes made you crack up and you couldn’t even be mad at him when his failed spells ended up in a big mess that you and the friend group needed to solve. You hadn’t realised how much you missed him until you broke up with E. Whether or not that relationship was real, it felt like a real reason to stay away from Benny. It felt like you were taken because everyone else belived you to be. You couldn’t make a move on him because everyone knew you to have a boyfriend but now you didn’t and you couldn’t help yourself from looking at B in a different light.

You were over at his house, helping him pack some herbs he had to organise for his grandma, as punishment for wasting all her old ones on some spell. You were stuffing dried leaves in tiny jars, while Benny was busying himself attaching little tags to them, with the name of each plant.

“Thanks again for coming to help me, you didn’t have to”

“Anytime Bens, you know I’m always here for you” you looked at him and smiled sweetly. He looked into your eyes and said

“I know, Thank you” you nodded and switched your focus back on the plants, hoping he wouldn’t notice the blush on your face. Lucky for you, he started telling a story that happened in his geography class and things slowly fell into their usual, casual place, at least up until you had to leave.

You placed the last little jar in its respective spot on the shelf

“I think this is it, right?” Benny asked

“It should be”

“Perfect, I’m in dire need of a snack. You want chips? I have some upstairs”

“No, it’s late, I should head home”

“Um, ok yeah. No problem” but none of you moved after that, you just looked at one other for a little bit, until the awkwardness got too much and you took your backpack and headed to the door

“Thanks again” Benny said right when you reached the door

“No problem” and then time froze again. You got lost in his pretty eyes and barely noticed his chest rising and falling faster with every second that passed until, you both found yourselves in each other's arms, kissing deeply and desperately, as if you’ve waited all your life for this. Your hands tangled in his hair, pulling at loose strands, his hands running up and down your back, bringing you as close to him as possible. All your senses were intoxicated with him and finally, the little pit in your chest disappeared. Your lips fit together like puzzle pieces but than, all of a sudden, Benny pushed you away aggressively

“No, I can’t do that!” his back turned to you, but you saw the red in his face and his hands went to his head, massaging the back of his neck just like you had been doing

“Benny…”

“No, no, you are Ethan’s ex and we can’t do that! I can’t do that!”

“B, listen to me!” you tried to step towards him but at your slightest movement, he jumped back, finally turning to face you

“Y/N, that was a mistake and I’m sorry! We shouldn’t have done that! It was a mistake” your eyes stung from the tears threatening to spill down your cheeks

“Don’t say that…” you could barely hear your own voice and were genuinely surprised when B replied

“Of course it was! As much as I wanted to do it and as right as it may have felt, it’s barely been a few weeks since your last relationship with MY BEST FRIEND and your best friend too and we can’t, I CAN’T do this to him! You, you guys dated and…”

“But we didn’t!” you said

“Of course you did, are you out of your mind?” Benny looked at you, teary eyed and desperate “I saw you, we saw you! Holding hands and cheek kisses! He had his arm around your back every moment of every goddamn school day and every time I wished it was me! He had all of you and he could hold you during movie nights and spend all his free time with you and kiss you and run his hands through your hair and everytime he did it I imagined that I was in his spot, hoping you would look at me with the same love and admiration that you looked with at him but now it’s too late! It doesn’t matter that he didn’t cherish you better while he had you because I still can not take you! I can’t do that to him!”

“Benny it wasn’t real!”

“What does that even mean Y/N?” he was yelling now, but you knew he wasn’t angry, just hurt. You saw the tears in his eyes and how hard he tried to stop them from running down his face.

“We weren’t ever dating! We just pretended!” the madness in his eyes turned to a question, an invitation for you to continue “It was all a show Bens. He wanted to impress Sarah. He asked me to fake a relationship with him.”

Benny leaned over the table, resting his body on his arms. He seemed to be thinking for a while, until he said “That’s a stupid idea”

You laughed “I thought so too when he told me” Benny seemed to think some more before saying

“Such an Ethan idea to have” which only made you laugh more

“So it was never real?” he asks you finally

“No! It was just an act” but even now, Benny couldn’t say anything. He was looking at his hands nervously. You took a deep breath and said the one thing you could think of

“He knows if that’s what you are wondering” the boy looked at you with questioning eyes again “Ethan I mean”

“Ethan knows what?”

“That I like you” Benny straightened and looked at you with soft eyes once more, you felt your cheeks heat up and turned to walk away but Benny quickly grabbed your wrist and pulled you into him, holding you in a tight hug.

“So, does that mean I can kiss you again?” a small smile tugged at your lips

“Please do”

Of rough time, marriage and fears

Daichi x reader

Genre: Requested angst to fluff

Summary: After a year of being happily married, trouble seems to appear at paradise when Daichi starts growing distant.

Note: This is not the best, and I don't think I took it the right direction but it was fun to experiment with this. Let me know if there's any orthographic or grammar mistake ,and thank you for reading!!

Marriage is more than a pretty wedding and golden rings, more than a cozy house with nice plants to water. Marriage is way more than all that, so it's not surprise to have though days, fights and disagreements are not a foreign concept, but nothing of this was enough to break you and Daichi. Or so you thought.

One year into your spouse life started like a dream. Even when the road had potholes in the way, you two were mature about it and faced them together. Every morning you woke up next to the love of your life, and he held you close as if you were the most valuable thing in the world, and for a while, you thought you were to him. But months gone by taught you otherwise, because now the space between you was unbearable, like ice left too long on skin. And how it started you don't know, but you wished you did.

The first sign was Daichi growing distant, the second one was him getting in contact with an old friend, a past 'almost something' he knew since high school. And then, it was him spending more time with friends, with her, and you left alone at home to play the loyal housekeeper, the cute spouse that cleaned and cooked but couldn't enjoy dinner with the husband. So it hurt, the feeling of being left behind was slowly filling your lungs until you couldn't gasp for air normally, until the sensation was too much to handle.

The night was as normal as it could go, with you sitting on the couch, waiting for Daichi to come back home from work. Dinner had grown cold, and the clock's hands had moved so much for you to remember how long have you been waiting. Alone in a house meant for two, you couldn't help but feel lonely without Daichi, and you stop to thing briefly, maybe it's your own fault.

It's almost midnight when you hear the door open, then the shuffle of his shoes against the floor. He comes to through the frame, notices your figure and walks your way with heavy steps, Daichi's weight pulling him down in every movement of his legs shows how tired he is.

"It's late, you shouldn't have wait for me. I was out with Suga and the rest after work" he explains briefly after he collapsed next to you on the couch, finally giving into exhaustion.

The conversation ends like that.

Next time is not as peaceful

"Where are you going?" You asked again, the third time already on the week. You're tired, tired of not feeling like you still matter to him, exhausted of feeling him escape through your fingers even when he is right there in front of you.

"Another class reunion. Yuna-san..."

Your blood rushes with anger and you don't let him finish, you can't. It's too unbearable, the feeling of fury.

"Yuna-san? Another reunion? Daichi, please. You're rarely home this days, please, can you just stay with me this time?" Is not easy or possible for you to mask how exasperated you are at this point. Your husband notices the trembling of your body, coming closer to you with a tired sigh.

"We talked about this. Don't do this tonight, Y/n" with how hard he mutters it, it comes out like a warning, one that you're willing to ignore in favor of your feelings. This time is different, any patience or consideration have been thrown to the drain by you, and you are finally ready to explore.

"No! We haven't talk about this, we never talk, and that's the problem! Is always just you asking me to drop it, to leave you alone, to swallow everything inside me, and honestly, I'm not doing that anymore" He stares at you with brows knitted together tightly, a clear sign of him not approving what he takes as a tantrum for his attention.

"We'll talk when you have calmed down. Until then, I'm going out" Daichi turns to walk out, about to leave the scene like nothing, like your marriage was nothing.

Tears you didn't know were there start falling out of your eyes, dramatic style out of a lame romantic movie.

For him, it started with jokes and teasing from the team, making fun of him for a few laughs. It wasn't anything too malicious, a few comments here and there over his marriage life, how he was an old man now and how they were getting ready to not see him anymore at reunions or parties. Daichi could handle that, even laughing along with them, until Yamamori Yuna arrived back into his life.

There was a school reunion that he decided to attend after months of being stressed by work, just going out for some drinks and catch up with their past classmates, a night to refresh those records left in their memories from their youth. Everyone was chatting animatedly, the same jokes Daichi was used to were repetead, which he responded with an equally happy laugh. But the girl next to him frowned, her hand discreetly sneaking in a smooth motion all over his arm to get to his shoulder.

"Doesn't it bother you, Sawamura-san? They're making fun of you. " The seemingly troubled expression on her face was enough to cut his laughter.

"It's alright, I'm having fun out of it too"

"Well, it's not fun for me as your friend. Ever since the wedding you have been so engrossed on your partner, that it looks like have forgotten to be your own person, and now you're the joke of your friends". Yamamori's frown deepened even more, her pretty face painted with fake consern. She was so immersed in the little act, in her own selfish intentions, that every word sounded like authentic worry.

That conversation stays engraved on his mind more than it should've.

It's not like he doesn't love you, because he does. The band on his finger is the proof of his adoration towards you, but the fear of losing himself is powerful and big enough to overthink. Daichi starts going out more, because after thinking about it, he was closing off his friends, going out less, not answering texts, missing calls and updates from his friends.

Yuna seems to have all the answers for the questions plaguing his mind, so naturally, he hangs out more with her and his friends. Getting loose and enjoying himself with other people that's not you, because he thinks it what he needs.

He's told you before that she's hanging out with the boys and him lately, he's talked about her when you ask where he was or what was he doing. It's not like he's hiding the fact that he's been in contact with her, yet you still feel like trash when the ghost of doubt makes it's way on your heart.

When he returns, he doesn't expect you to be awake, thinking that you'd be on your shared bed, passed out after calming yourself. But you're as awake as you could be, with bloodshot eyes and dry tears over your sad features, and his heart pants with pain at the view. Is heartbreaking, seeing you as equally heartbroken, and us even more heartbreaking knowing he was the cause of your suffering. So he holds you, close to his heart to comfort a little what he has hurt.

"You don't love anymore. You're gonna leave me for her, Yuna" your words are tainted by anguish. An uncomfortable affirmation from your part, one that's not even close to the truth. His breathing stops and for a moment, he swears his heart does too.

"Don't say that, don't you dare say that again. I love you so much, you don't even understand." He opens up his heart with you.

Fifteen minutes is how much it takes him to explain to you all what has gotten to his mind ever since the first reunion. How he was afraid of not being him anymore, of being forgotten by his friends, of hovering over you too much.

"I'm awful, I'm the worst. My selfishness is the worst. I know, now I know. But please, you're the only one for me, I'd never cheat or leave you. The only one on my mind is you. At this point, you've ruined everything for me; love, sex, even religion. No-one can come close to whatever you do, to whatever you make me feel, I can't be tempted by anything that isn't you".

You belive him, you do. The way words spill so easily, flowing like water, can't be faked, neither can be the sparkle in his eye which you hadn't seen in weeks.

Daichi's path to redemption begins with being home early after work. Coming to your arms as soon and fast as he can, welcoming your warmth deep in his soul. Once again in your embrace, is hard for him to think just how much has he been missing out.

Is the kisses and hand holding, is your voice and your love what makes Daichi feel safe.

"Daichi, you have to shave" you tell him between giggles, his facial hair caressing the skin on your neck making you itchy.

"Later" he murmurs while he inhales your scent. It calms him down, it relaxes him.

Right now, he has to hold you close, love you as much as he can to make up for the bitter days he had made you suffer. Right now, you feel as safe and as happy as possible, between his arms that are your real home, beside him where you belong.

Marriage is more than just a pretty house and golden rings. Marriage is failing and hurting, with the promise of fixing whatever it needs to mend together.

i want your heart to beat for me

She’s twenty-four and sings for Caleb Covington during the week, microphone clutched tightly in between her sweaty palms as she stands before an audience that’s paid to hear a beautiful voice she doesn’t want to provide.

They all wear leers, and some flash yellow teeth and tattered bills in disgusting taunts, but she does her best to ignore it all and just sing like she’s always wanted to.

(She never imagined it would be like this.)

Her voice is shaky tonight, strained in all the wrong places from singing three songs a night five times a week, and her heart is beating fast, torn between anger at the men who look at her like she’s a piece of meat on display and anxiety at disappointing Caleb for not bringing in the money he needs. Her voice is the biggest seller at his club, she knows it is, and she doesn’t want to know what happens to those who don’t sell well at all.

(She had been a hit from the moment she had walked on stage, dressed in a pretty purple dress she had pulled from her mom’s old chest, her hair curled to one side, a small butterfly pin - her good luck charm - clipped to the corner of her sleeve. Caleb had been watching from the front row, a buffet of every food you could imagine spread out on the table before him but his eyes were instead locked steadily on her, watching and waiting.

The crowd had cheered wildly as soon as they had seen her, and she had been embrassed by the attention back then, blushling under the spotlights. Then she had met Caleb’s eyes, and he had nodded her on with a crooked smile, and she had opened her mouth and sang the best she ever had in her life.)

Tonight was different.

She was exhuasted, and her voice was cracking on the high notes, and she barely had the energy to hold a microphone and sing, let alone jump around the stage and try and hype up the audience like she was supposed to.

She can’t find Caleb in the crowd, and her heart jumps with joy at the thought of him not being here. Maybe she could throw tonight’s set and get away with it. Maybe she could request the rest of the week off through Willie and avoid having to talk to him at all.

(When she had first arrived at the club, she wondered why someone as kind as Willie was working there among men and women who were so opposite to him.

As the weeks dragged into months, she had grown closer to Willie, and realized that he was trapped there in the same way she was.)

She finishes Finally Free - irony not lost on her considering she hasn’t been free since the day she had put her life on the line for her brother - and her heart aches at the thought of him, and a faraway part of her wonders how he’s doing. She hasn’t seen him since--

“Brava, brava!”

Caleb walks on stage, clapping his hands loudly, even though the men tonight had ceased their clapping early so that they could reach for their drinks, and Julie’s entire body tenses as the older man moves to stand next to her, his arm brushing against hers as his hand slides down to grab hers.

Red hot fear catches in her throat as she waits for his gaze to turn to her, but instead he avoids looking at her and keeps his eyes on the audience, gauging their reaction. Some are still looking toward the stage while others have moved onto their entrees, forks dipping into fettuccine and lagansa - tonight’s special. His grip on her hand tightens, and she holds back a cry.

He’s not happy.

She knows he isn’t happy, which means this could be the end of her tonight, because if Caleb wasn’t happy then the club wasn’t happy and if the club wasn’t happy then how would money continue to flow and if there was no money then she couldn’t pay back her brother’s debt and--

“I’m glad you all enjoyed tonight’s show,” he calls, catching the audience's attention once again. “Enjoy your meals, and if any of you would like to spare the cash for a one of a kind encore, please feel free to form a line at the stairs. Thank you!”

He lifts the hand that holds her own high in some sort of praise, and there’s a roar of applause, and men who tumble out of their seats at the thought of Caleb��s type of ‘encore’ and Julie feels sick.

Encores were for the acts that failed, last minute attempts for Caleb to earn some money out of a moneyless night, and if he was offering her up then that means she failed and if she failed then - then--

She doesn’t fight Caleb as he pulls her backstage, the velvet curtains closing behind them with a sense of finality. The thought of it makes her insides churn and her head pound, and another wave of nausea floods her as Caleb corners her against the wall a second later, slamming her back into solid brick.

“For someone so keen to pay off her brother’s debt, you aren’t taking your job as seriously as you should, Julie.”

His words are as threatening as the hand he uses to keep her arms pinned above her head, his other hand pressed into a white-knucked fist at his side. His face is twisted into an angry sneer, and though threatening, his words are as calm as they always are, and that alone is enough to send chills racing up her spine.

Pain radiates from the center of her back, and panic closes around her throat, making it hard for her to breathe. She struggles for words. “I-I am, Caleb, I swear, my voice - I’m just starting to lose my voice from singing so much, and I didn’t want you to - to be disappointed if I asked for some time off and, and I-I tried my best tonight, I--”

He silences her with a look, her mouth snapping shut. And God, she hates this, hates him more than she’s ever hated anybody in her life, because she hates how much power he has over her, and contuines to hold over her, because she’s in this deep and there doesn’t seem to be any way back out.

“You really think,” he starts, slow and deliberate, “that I’m going to belive that?”

Before she can speak he’s squeezing her wrists hard enough that it hurts, and she bites her lip as he moves closer to her face, his eyes dark with an anger she only sees when he’s talking about his failed acts.

“You will sing until you lose your voice, and every performance until then will be up to par, or you will never see your brother ever again. Is that understood?”

She hates this. She hates this, she hates this, she hates this, she--

“Yes.” She says, as firmly as she can.

Caleb doesn’t smile or nod or play his violence off like it’s nothing. Instead he realeases her and takes a step back, straightening his collar. His eyes are still dark as he stares at her, and it makes her fingers shake.

“You failed me tonight, Julie, and I’m sorry to do this to you, especially considering you are my best act in this entire place, but you will be doing as many encores as they pay for tonight and that’s--”

“I’ll take ‘em.”

Julie startles at the familiar voice, looking over and seeing no other than Luke Patterson standing by the exit door, guitar strap slung over one shoulder.

Caleb audibly scoffs in disbelief. “You’re going to take all her clients tonight?”

Luke’s eyes flick from Julie’s to Caleb’s before he nods and makes his way over to them, his hand tight around the neck of his guitar. “Yeah. You’re cool with it, aren’t you?”

Caleb sighs, obivously torn.

Julie stares, shocked, at Luke. She doesn’t know much about him, and hasn’t interacted with him at all nearly the entire time she’s been at the club, besides a head nod if they passed each other on stage. All she knows about him is infromation from Willie and that’s that Luke has been at the club longer than he has, longer than anyone else at the club, and no one knows why. He’s also the only one who Caleb has - if you could call them at - civil conversations with.

He doesn’t bring in as much money as he used to, but he was a good buffer to newer acts like Julie, and whatever Caleb had to keep him there with everyone else...it had to be big, for him to be stuck there for so long.

“Of course I’m cool with it.” Caleb finally says, slapping Luke on the shoulder with a broad grin. He leans in to whisper in his ear, but Julie overhears what he says anyway. “They’ll pay more for you anyway.”

He pulls back with a laugh, followed by an easy smile from Luke, but if Julie looks close enough, she can tell it’s fake, can see the strained edges and jagged peices.

Caleb turns back to her, his eyes no longer as carefree as they were a second before. “You’re free to go tonight. Rest up that voice now, Julie. I expect an amazing performance two days from now.” He smiles, wide and grand, before disappearing through the curtains with the announcement of Luke Patterson’s encore offer for later tonight.

Julie stands there, rubbing her wrists, unsure what to say to Luke. Should she thank him from saving her from something she knew she’d never be able to come back from? Apologize for allowing him to give himself up instead?

“You don’t have to say anything,” he supplies, as if he’s reading her mind. She looks up and catches his honest eyes, a different smile covering his lips now. It looks...almost happy.

Happy to be talking to her?

No, no. She shakes that thought from her mind.

“I’m, I’m sorry,” she grapples for other words, “you didn’t have to do that. For me.”

He readjusts, allowing his guitar to lean against his hip. His hair is short and half-hidden under a grey beaine, he’s wearing a white tank-top that’s obviously seen better days, and weathered jeans. The strap his guitar clings to is decorated with names written in black sharpie. She’s able to read a few - Reggie, Alex, Bobby, Emily, Mitch, TJ, Tim - and he catches her staring, chuckling quietly.

“I uh, before this, I’d have people sign my guitar at my first shows. Got filled up pretty fast. Guess you could say I was a sort of teen sensation?” She can’t help the laugh that bubbles out of her, and he laughs softly with her, watching the way her fingers fumble over one another. His heart falls, just a little bit. “I’m sorry. About Caleb.”

“It’s not your fault.” She dismisses, her hands falling to her sides.

She swears she can still see the man’s eyes in the shadows behind the speakers and old lights. Silence surrounds them for a moment, but then the crowd roars, and Caleb announces Luke’s name again, and he sighs, gesturing with his head toward the curtains.

“Guess it’s time for my gig.” He says wryly, and she nods and moves out of the way so he can walk past her. Her eyes catch on red marks across his skin as he passes, hidden poorly behind his tank-top, and her stomach rolls.

“Wait!” she calls just before his hands touch the curtain. She turns around and walks over to him, grabbing his hand in hers. “Thank you. For saving me from...from that.”

She can feel the callouses on his fingers from picking at a guitar, and the scars that decorate his palm from his time spent in the club. He’s far too young to have scars, she thinks, but then Luke is smiling wide, and the corner of his eyes are crinkling, and Julie’s heart is soaring for some reason at the way he looks at her then.

“Anytime Molina,” he whipers, and then he’s disappearing through the curtain, and for some reason, she misses the feel of his hand in hers as soon as he’s gone.

🌺Nosaichi Madoka Magica AU 2

Okay! Here’s the second AU version I had briefly mentioned in this post. I hope you all enjoy! This AU takes place several years after Ichihoshi’s family had been in a car accident… ((Btw this AU version mentions a suicide attempt so if you're uncomfortablewith that then don't read this. There will be a warning right before you get to it but still!!! - This is a Madoka Magica AU after all so some dark topics are bound to make their way into it))

It was on a freezing winter’s evening when Ichihoshi stumbled upon Kyubey. He had just said his good-bye’s to Froy and Yurika when he had encountered the freezing incubator on a sidewalk. The incubator had been shivering pretty badly and had looked to have thin layer of frost lining its body. So Ichihoshi did the only thing he could think of- bring it home! He’d bundled it up into the inner most layer of his jacket and hurried home as fast as he could. He’d later regret the decision of saving the incubators life…

After warming up, Kyubey would then offer to grant Ichihoshi a wish of his choosing. And of course Ichihoshi is all but ready to jump at the offer, but ultimately stops himself to instead think it over. (His first wishful thought is to resurrected his deceased family members but seeing as he doesn’t want to risk playing with the life of…deceased people… he drops the thought and instead asks Kyubey to simply live with him). For the next days that follow, Ichihoshi does his best to keep the incubator a secret from his friends, thinking that by doing so he’d be doing them a favor, A favor for what exactly? A favor for himself… Since he had moved into his apartment he’d been forced to live on his own in an empty home pretty much everyday but having Kyubey around meant that he had someone to be with outside of school. And if Froy and Yurika found out about Kyubey than the incubator might consider leaving him to be with his friends instead. Fortunately, when Froy and Yurika eventually do find out about Kyubey they remain practically unfazed because guess what? They had been granted a wish by the incubator months ago and were secretly fighting witches when Ichihoshi wasn’t around! The group later talk about they’re encounters with Kyubey and their wishes. Ichihoshi informs his friends about his wish making dilemma and they each give him advice. Froy is more lenient and tells Ichihoshi to just wish for something that would benefit him and him alone while Yurika tells him to yes, wish for himself, but to be careful; that he should make a wish he won’t regret having made years later. And after some more talking the magical duo ask Ichihoshi to join them on their witch hunts- just so he can see if having a wish granted is really worth becoming a magical boy.

Several days pass by before a transfer student by the name of Nosaka Yuuma enters Ichihoshi’s life. The transfer student, like Froy and Yurika, is a magical boy who fights witches. However, he doesn’t get along with the magical friend duo and winds up fighting with them more often than not. Just about every time he fights, he keeps an eye on Ichihoshi, which both Froy and Yurika pick up on rather quickly. At some point the magical duo stop letting Ichihoshi join them in the labyrinths because they’re afraid Nosaka might hurt him in some way. Although he stays out of the labyrinths, Ichihoshi is still watched by Nosaka even after the witches are defeated. Thankfully nothing bad ever happens to him but after some time Nosaka starts to confront him at school, telling him to keep his wishes to himself and to stay away from Kyubey but since Kyubey lives with him he can’t exactly get rid of the incubator so Ichihoshi ignores the warnings and keeps Kyubey at a respectable distance instead just to please Nosaka. (He really doesn’t think Nosaka is a bad guy. Whenever they do talk Nosaka’s gaze always softens into somethign close to fondsness that nearly makes Ichihoshi want to run and hide his blushing face).

Within the next couple of days a subtle change starts to take a hold of the friend group. Yurika and Froy become more distant with each other after a fight in a witches labyrinth, resulting in Froy to instead become super clingy with Ichihoshi- This makes is something Ichihoshi finds worrisome due to how Froy starts treating him soon after the clinginess starts to escalate into something more possessive- Ichihoshi gets so worried that one night he asks Froy to accompany him on a walk around town to talk. They end up talking about school for about an hour before Froy blatantly cuts Ichihoshi off to confesses his feelings, something that catches Ichihoshi by surprise. And even though Ichihoshi likes Froy, he doesn’t like him romantically, so he tries to kindly let Froy down as best as he can but when that backfires the two part ways for the night… Ichihoshi would later find out through a text from Yurika that Froy had transformed into a witch. And since Ichihoshi belives this sudden transformatoin to be his fault, he hurries off with Kyubey in search of Froy. Out of pure coincidence he ends up wandering into Froy’s labyrinth to find Yurika already fighting their friend. And because Ichihoshi didn’t want either of his friends getting hurt he risked his life by running between the two to try and stop them. Thankfully, a third magic user had just joined the fight, Nosaka, and was able to save him before anything could happen, but because of this, both Froy and Yurika ended up having to reaim their attacks and accidently dealt finishing blows to one another…Before Ichihoshi can get a chance to ask Kyubey to grant him his wish, two other magical boys rush in to attack the incubator. At this point Ichihoshi has passed out due to everything overwhelming him in the moment. And because of this Nosaka is left with no other choice han to bring him home.

When Ichihoshi awakens later that night he’s greeted by Nosaka and the two boys, named Tatsuya and Hiroto. The three then explain their reasoning for attacking Kyubey and even though Ichihoshi really wants to believe that Kyubey could potentially be bad, he can’t bring himself say or do anything bad to the incubator. So instead of arguing with the trio he leaves Nosaka’s home with tears in his eyes – Back at his own home he talks to Kyubey, asking for answers, which he more or less gets and then shuts himself in his room for the remainder of the night. The following days go by in a blur. With his friends gone, Ichihoshi no longer has anyone to talk to or confind in. He avoids Kyubey because of the answers he’d recived about what it truly meant to be a magical boy and because the incubator refuses to give him any kind of emotional support. So what does Ichihoshi do? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And what does Kyubey do? He leaves in pursuit of finding other more capable magical boys/girls. With Kyubey gone, Ichihoshi tries to return back to his old lifestyle but ends up falling into a depression instead…

On the night Ichihoshi decides to end it all is the same night Nosaka wound up saving him yet again. He’d gone on a walk intending to clear his mind of anything magical boy or witch related but when he came across some “Missing” signs of both Froy and Yurika, he snapped. What was the point in going on with his life if he didn’t have anyone there for him anymore? So he returned to his apartment complex, wrote a letter, and made his way to the rooftop of the building- Just as he readied himself to take the plunge Nosaka quickly pulled him away from the edge of the building. From there the two had a very long talk filled with anger, regret, tears, etc. Ichihoshi let everyhting out that had been plaguing his mind for the past few days while Nosaka listened and did his best to comfort Ichihoshi as best as he could. When the two were in a cleat enough headspace Nosaka asked if Ichihoshi would be okay with learning about his true reasoning for following him all this time. When Ichihoshi agreed, Nosaka revealed his(their) past and how he’d been time traveling over and over again just to keep him safe. During the explanation images of their past lives began to resurface in Ichihoshi’s mind, helping him to remember everything Nosaka had done for him up to that point. And just before Ichihoshi can say anything, they’re interrupted by Tatsuya and Hiroto who inform Nosaka of the witch, Walpurgis Night’s, sudden appearance.

The three magical boys leave Ichihoshi with the promise to come back but what none of them know is that while had seen everything Nosaka had done in thier past lives, he had also seen seen a future where they all end up dying in the battle with Walpurgis Night, so what does he do? Follows them of course! And it’s a good and bad thing because by the time he makes it to the scene, both Tatsuya and Hiroto are down while Nosaka is left chipping away at Walpurgis Night. At some point Walpurgis Night takes a notice of Ichihoshi and moves to attack him, but Nosaka catches this as well and just barely manages to protect Ichihoshi from a powerful attack. And since he used such intense magic to shield Ichihoshi, Nosaka is left laying on the battle field with his soul gem quickly corrupting into a grief seed. He allows a few tears fall, accepting his fate, thinking that this is it. That after he turns into a witch he won’t be able to go back in time to fix anything anymore. And just as he’s about to let the pain of the grief seed overtake him, Ichihoshi shows up to clean him up. Ichihoshi thanks Nosaka for trying so hard to protect him throughout each life they had met in. He thanks him for anything and everything he can think of in that moment before moving away to offer a hand out to Kyubey. Nosaka then has to watch in absolute horror and dismay as Ichihoshi finally gets his wish granted by Kyubey –

-When Nosaka wakes up the next day he finds himself wearing a blue colored jacket. Memories of his last encounter with Ichihoshi flow through his mind and he allows himself to cry into the jacket.

Ichihoshi was no longer apart of their world.

But he give you time to adjust. You carefully run your hand trough his four at his belly. He's so tall, he had to lower himself quiet a bit to breach you. But he dosen't seem to be uncomfortable.

,,Mhhm now baby." You Moan after a while.

Right now, it feels so good. Your in heaven. At first it hurted like hell. But after you adjust, it start to feel so good. He carefully and slowly trhurst into you. After a while, he speed up. You let out a loud moan. It feels so good. You can feel that you are really close. Theres that familiar tingling in your lower belly. And after two more hard thrust you cum loud moaning on the blankets. You can hear how Dutch's sharp claws rip one of the blankets. And then you can feel his thick knot short before the end of his shaft, who pushing against you with each thrust. It isn't THAT huge. So you decide to give it a go.

,,Baby knot me! C'mon goddamn." You Moan.

You can feel Dutch's ryrhem falter for a second from shock. But then he stops flush against you. And then he thrust harsh into you. A jolt went trough your body as his knot entered you.

,,AHH fuck." You moan.

After a while, he shoot his load deep inside you with a loud howl. His knot and the feeling of being filled, is simply amazing. It hurt for a few minutes, a bit longer than his human knot, but after that it's just amazing. You hug Dutch as best as you can, and then he carefully turn both of you arround. Now he's laying on his back, and you on top of him. Both of you breathing hard.

,,Fuck. We should do it more often. It's amazing." You gasp after a while.

You feel so damn full. But not in a bad way. Both of you are tied like that for an good hour. Then you can get of off him, and he shift back.

,,Yeah we should. You alright?" He ask.

You softly kiss him.

,,Yeah I'm perfectly fine. I love you."

,,Ik hou ook van jou schatje." Dutch smiles.

He clean you, and then both of you settle down for sleep. It was really exhausting but totally worth it.

Analysis of X: Uncanny X-Men #159 “Night Screams!”

Happy Halloween! For our Halloween special, I take my first dive into Claremont’s classic X-Men Run proper, as Claremont’s future New Mutants partner Bill Sienkiewicz drops by just in time for the X-Men to battle Dracula for the soul of Storm! Get your stakes ready and join me after the cut.

Welcome everyone to my special Halloween Edition of Analysis of X. I love this holliday: Scary movies, adorable children in costume, more sugar than I probably need… it’s the best. And it’s on this sacred day I’ve decided to take a second look at one of my faviorite X-Men stories and see if it still holds up to me the second time around. I first heard about this story in the back of Wizard Magzine in this old beatup issue I got from my brother, and was blown away by the descrption of an event we’ll get to towards the end. When I finally read the issue years later thanks to an issue of Classic X-Men, it exceded my expectations, and hence here I am to see if it still holds up. And since the few bits of exposition needed can just be done as we go, let’s sink our teeth into “Night Screams”

We open on the Uncanny, the powerful, the misunderstood, the brave X-Men!... barging into someone’s apartment and being confused by the occupant. Naturally both parties are confused: The young lady because it’s her damn apartment and suddenly a blue elf, a smelly hairy Canadian, a metallic Russian, an African goddess and a masked teenager come rushing into her place. The X-Men are confused because this apartment belongs to their friend Misty Knight. Those of you who watched Netflix’s excellent Luke Cage series probably remember her from that. In the comics she’s not far off from where she ended up by the end of the Netflix/MCU partnership: a private eye who used to be a cop and has a robot arm, in the comics provided by Tony Stark because back in the 70’s and 80’s tony would make some sorta gadget for anyone who pulled a dump truck of money up to his house. As I mentioned in Excalibur, Chris Claremont never really forgot any character he ever had anything to do with, and since she was a major supporting character during his run on iron fist along with her partner in asskicking Colieen Wing, who you may remember as the best part of Iron Fist’s own Netflix series, he had the two pop up in his X-Men run during a time when they thought the professor and jean were dead, because no one bothered to pick up a fucking phone. As such Misty had apparently offered her place to the X-Men any time they were in the city proper… but herself didn’t pick up the damn phone and tell her in the past few months she got a roommate, so said roommate is understandably pissed off to find a bunch of strangers in her place.

As the above should make obvious, the young lady is Harmony Young, famous model and misty’s new roommate. At this time Mary Jo Duffy had taken over Luke Cage, at the time Power Man,’s book and, in an attempt to keep the book from being canceled, brought Iron Fist in as a second protagonist and made the book into a buddy picture with the two’s contrasting personalites and backgrounds playing off each other. Having read this run, it’s fantastic and well worth a read and is the backbone of later runs of Luke and Danny while creating one of the best friendships in all of Marvel. As for how the hell this relates to this story, Harmony is a supporting character from that run and at the time, Luke’s Girlfriend and thus moved in with Misty when Misty needed a roommate.

With the confusion cleared up the X-Men try to smooth things over, minus Logan who, now knowing he dosen’t have a fight on his hands is going to get drunk because logan frankly has three states: boning, drinking and killin, and Kurt’s already swooping in there, and while you’d think hitting on Luke Cage’s girlfriend would be dumb, Luke is not above a three way. I mean why do you think danny sleeps at his and jess’s place every other Sunday? Storm being the leader she is offers to leave, but Harmony, seeing three handsome young men and likely having an open relationship with Luke, decides what the hell and lets the X-Men stay. Kitty scoffs at her and.. oh god I’m going to have to talk about the Colossus and Kitty thing aren’t I? Fuck me…. Yeah for those of you who weren’t aware, Kitty had a crush on Colossus.. a grown man at the very least 6 years older than her. They eventually DID enter a relationsip, that THANK CHRIST, wasn’t sexual till Jim Shooter, in one of the few times he actually made sense as Marvel’s Editor in Chief outright told Chris to cut it out and broke the couple up himself by having Pitor fall for someone else. And while that whole romance was forced and rushed, it both ended an annoying subplot and gave us a DAMN good issue of Uncanny I’ll get to some day. We soon find out WHY the X-Men are in town in the first place:

I do like the story progression so far: it feels organic and the opening of the X-Men barging in on an apartment is a nice hook and the following pages quickly explain the situation without feeling too clunky about it. But yeah Kitty’s Parents want to see her and while as Ororo notes she dosen’t have anything to wear, Harmony being a true friend to this person she just met offers up her vast wardrobe which Kitty herself quickly gets herself a piece of. The two get dressed and head off to meet the Prydes. We then get a short scene of Cyclops, whose on vacation visitng his brother Alex alongside his space pirate dad. As you can tell i’m not really going that much into it as it’s only one page of the isssue and has nothing to do with the rest of the plot other than informing us Professor Xavier’s in a coma, which tells me why he wasn’t with the rest of the team. Back in NYC, Kurt is still flirting with Harmony when the team gets a call from Kitty... who wonders if Ororo got home okay. Kurt’s instantly put on alert because she’d told kitty she was heading straight back.. hours ago. And as we see bellow, she’s been attacked with two marks left on her neck... which can only mean one thing.. NEIL BREEN HAS KILLED AGAIN.. or you know vampires.

Storm is rushed to the hospital and Logan and PItor soon get the call thanks to Storm’s wallet to come get her. While the doctor wants to keep her overnight Storm is.. oddly calm, finding the night realixing and getting the feeling something’s watching her, but shaking it off. The fact she’s not CONCERNED about that or seems chipper after having her throat torn open just screams red flag don’t’ it? Storm returns home to rest , shooing the rest of the X-Men away and well. if you were wondering when the hell this turned into a vampire story besides the whole neck bites thing...

The scene is haunting and well done and Bill, since his last name is hard to spell and I’ve mangled enough names as is on this blog, does a fine job with it, portraying the horror of it as well as how entrhaled Ororo is well. IT’s this sort of moody atmospheric stuff that would serve him well when he became artist on New Mutants and thare’s damn good reason his run is where the book really starts to pick up steam. Kitty returns home.. and is greeted with the news Storm has turned ill. When kitty tries visting storm is afraid of the sunlight, has a mysterious scarf from an admierer with a large D on it, and flinches when Kitty’s star of david brushes up against her. Kitty, sensing the obvious heads off to do some errands. Later that night Ororo lets her her “lover” and the one behind all this...

Yup. I wasn’t lying or exaggerating in the teaser: The one behind all this is DRACULA. That Dracula, not some alien or some other vampire. The prince of Darkness himself has designs on Ororo. And if your wondering if this is just some one issue weirdness… NOPE. Around this time, Dracula had his own ongoing started in the 70’s, Tomb of Dracula and what I’ve read is excellent. As a result Dracula was a part of the Marvel Universe, had his own backstory and enimies, and fought the likes of Dr. Strange and Spider-Man and earlier this year was the center of a major plot in Jason Aaron’s Avengers run. But before he can turn her, help arrives..

IT’s kitty who got a nifty Van Helsing getup and a cross.. but in an intresting twist on the mythos the cross does nothing. But not for the by this point cliché reason of “we’re just not using that old chesnut”, no in the Marvel Universe one needs genuine faith for the religious symbols weakness to work… and as the star of david showed earlier, Kitty is Jewish .. but when Dracula tries to choke a bitch, it’s said star of David that saves her. Tragically, Storm is too brainwashed to run and leaves with Dracula, begging Kitty to forget her and leaving the poor child in tears as her surrogate older sister leaves with a monster, possibly forever and there’s nothing she can do to stop it. On a side note though nice entrance line. While it’s no “Begone monster you do not belong in this world!” it’s still pretty sweet.

The rest of the team burst in and Kitty explains what’s going on: that while she didn’t know it was DRACULA till now, she was supscious but rightly suspected the others wouldn’t belive her and Logan dosen’t, trying to write off the scarf as Harmony or Misty’s.. but Kurt shoots it down, stating that Kitty is no child and her word means as much as Logan’s own, with his own time in Bavaria telling him to not take vampires lightly.. ESPECIALLY Dracula. Even if Logan still isn’t buying it, Kitty does point out that wether she’s right or not, Ororo is too injured to leave out in the wild, let alone with some strange man who may or may not be Dracula. Given this is a superhero comic, a fight naturally breaks out, with Dracula summoning his wolves, where’d he purchase those, to fight while Kurt tries fighting the big man himself.. and quickly gets his fuzzy blue ass handed to him. Colossus and WOlverine take the wolves out and prepare for the big man himself.

As you can see Dracula is handing them their asses.. which is no surprise: not only are the X-Men two members short, and even if they weren’t Dracula would still be able to take them. It also helps ease him into this shared universe: the reason why he hasn’t been beaten for good with so many heroes out there is simple: besides having the cover of being so famous that most wouldn’t belive he’s real, he’s also really damn powerful and only one vampire hunter after him has any sort of powers, that being Blade who was introduced in Tomb of Dracula. And while he’s a vampire, he dosen’t have Drac’s broken number of extra powers.

With it now being clear given he fuck slammed Colossus that Dracula is out of their league Kurt suggests a straight up fight won’t work and they need plan B.. and with that we get the best scene in the issue, the one that made me want to read it in the first place.

Just as a recap, in a brilliant callback to a few pages ago, Wolverine tries, cleverly, to use his claws as a cross.. but as Dracula mocks him, it won’t work. Like Parappa the Rapper says you gotta belivie.. and unfortunately for Dracula, Kurt does in what is, to my suprise, the first time his religion comes up but it works well and adds a sizeable amount to his character. Sadly as fucking epic as this is, it only holds him off for a second and he soon sendds lightning after him because.. apparently he can do that now? I dunno. While this goes on Kitty runs into the castle which Dracula has morphed into his own kinda castle, and while Kitty dosen’t find dracula she does find an almost turned storm and readies a stake, though Ororo points out it won’t do much good.. and we get another powerful scene as Kitty decides she’s right.

While that goes on, the rest of the team presses on but have no more luck and soon Dracula has them beat and Storm arrives seemingly having slain kitty.. only to shed her Dracula outfit for her uniform and start kicking Dracula’s ass, kicking off an awesome fight between the two.

She ends up slamming him into a party where Drac, being a sore looser, tries to force her to submit.. but she stays her ground and he gets desperat holding a hostage to try and get her to submit

But as seen she will not and refuses to.. and Dracula admits defeat, realizing he was genuinely attracted to her and he’d have to snuff out what made her worthy of being his queen to do so. Granted he’s still a creepy mind rapist, but it’s still a nice character touch. He books it out of there, and being good at evading people as his solo would show, tells Ororo following would be a fools errand and givne how beaten down her team is , even with her back to give them the edge, he’s right. So for now he escapes, but the X-Men have one the night and Ororo is free and back to being just a mutant again and tearfully reunited with kitty at misty’s place.

With that touching scene done, our heroes runite with Harmony, with Misty and Coleen now present and celebrate their narrow victory. There’s also a quick stinger with Moira MacTaggert telling the X-Men xavier’s condition has gotten worse, but for the most part, it’s a happy ending as our heroes, however narrowly have won the day and I thankfully got this done before Halloween ended.

Final Thoughts: This issue is every bit as good the second time around, if not more so now I know who Harmony is and have read some of Dracula’s own title, though it’s not a necessity as none of the stuff from Tomb is important here, and Harmony is introduced well enough. This issue is a masterpiece, having atompsheric moody horror, the drawings well done and there’s so much I didn’t show that’s just awesome and Bill would only get better from here. The character work is also great as most of the X-Men get moments to shine. While wolverine is mostly there for his usaul schtick as is Colosus, how easily dracula manhandles them shows just how strong he is without feeling forced. But the real stars are Kurt, who gets one of his finest moments here and even after that fails still presses on anyway, Storm whose transformation is truly horrifying and whose ultimate victory is made all the sweeter and Kitty, whose at her best with: her youthful naivity matching well with her refusal to give up as she stares down both Dracula and her big sister in equal amounts. The issue is a must read for what’s left of this Halloween and every one after it and a great little done in one. Even with the btis of other storylines, it’s still easy to read and understand on it’s own and is one of the best one and done issues i’ve ever read and still holds it’s position in my eyes as one of the best X-Men stories period, taking what should be a rediculous premise and owning the hell out of it. A must read if i’ve ever read one.

A FEW DAYS BEFORE MOVING INTO HER GRANDPARENTS HOUSE:

She wakes up alone. The only sound is her heartbeat, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Counting the beats of her heart was something, Debbie has done the moment she learned her numbers ( and how to talk ) it took 2,130 heartbeats for Mama and Daddy to get home. They said she was finally old enough to stay at camp alone, inside the comvee of course. While they went to film animals, they were trying to get Daddy’s show back ( which they had been doing and failing since Debbie turned two years old. ) Twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen- rubbing the sleep from her eyes, eighteen, swinging her body to the edge of the bed, nineteen, climbing the ladder and opening the door to the top level of the comvee. Twenty.

Hazel hues glance up at the note pinned to the fridge, not ever bothering to open it, because she knew it would empty. WENT FILMING. BE BACK BY LUNCH, STAY IN THE COMVEE AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER, AND TAKE YOUR NAP- LOVE YOU, SWEETHEART. But they had left a few water bottles since out in the desert dehydration was no laughing matter, where the sun could drain the life from your veins in mere seconds. A bowl of leftover noodles on the table, they had been eating plain noodles for two weeks straight, it was to the point where just seeing it made her stomach turn. But she would shovel it down, hardly even tasting it. It was better than starving to death. Debbie learned to not voice her discomforts, it only caused more problems. She knew her parents were doing the best they could given the situation. Sitting around doing nothing all day made Debbie restless and put her on edge. she cleaned she decided to clean up a bit, it was fairly easy to clean up since the comvee was a compact space, so there wasn't a need for a vacuum, a broom, and dustpan could do the same amount of work. ( of course, it was a bit more time consuming. ) So she swept the floor, emptied the contents out outside, and walked back to the comvee to finish the chores ( plus the extra things she added on. ) she was finishing up the last chore, the remaining dishes, dipping her hands in again, wincing, a loud cry escapes her throat, eyes shimmering with tears, dark red staining the soapy water, a large gash down the palm of her hand. It took Debbie almost ten minutes to stop sobbing and to bandage the wound and finished washing the dishes. Being extra careful to not cut herself again. The blonde sits the dishes in a rack to dry, wiping her arms and pushing her hair out of her eyes. She was proud of herself for getting everything done in time for her nap. Things were going pretty good today, well besides the sharp pains in her stomach. It was getting harder to ignore the empty, gnawing, painful feelings in her stomach, Mama called it hunger pains. Crawling into her bed, small arms wrapped tightly around her stomach, she was supposed to be taking a nap. But it was hard when it felt like someone was twisting a knife into her stomach, squeezing her eyes shut and forcing herself to try and sleep through the pain. Counting the beating of her heart while she drifted toward sleep. She dreams of French fries. Hot, golden and greasy. Greedily stuffing them into her mouth. She wanted dozens. Boxes full, enough to never be hungry again, feeling the tastes explode against her tongue. She dreams of food as her stomach growls and her muscles clenched and a whimper escapes chapped lips.

Then, she woke up.

Debbie woke up more hungry than when she went to sleep. Debbie was so use to those dreams that the throbbing pain in her head, along with the emptiness in her stomach were almost too normal for the 4 year old. Mouth bone dry, sweaty blonde locks sticking to her forehead, vision slightly blurry, pulling her legs against her and wrapping her arms around her them. Hazel hues land upon the air conditioner, fingers hovering over the on the button, licking dry lips. Pulling her arm away, wiping the sweat ( or tears ) from her eyes. After a few more minutes of sitting curled into herself, Debbie decided it was time to get up. Swinging her legs over the edge, a shark band-aid across her knee from when she fell chasing an aardvark around camp yesterday. ( which Nigel had a spend a hour and half talking about ) Debbie smiled at the memory, there were good things among the bad if you looked hard enough.

They came home looking worn and sweaty as Mama shuffled up the comvee steps holding a strange looking box that she wouldn't let Debbie see. She was forced to sit outside with Daddy, he doesn't notice the bandage wrapped around her hand or if he had he never says anything. Debbie preferred it that way, she didn't want to add any more stress upon her daddy ( and mama’s ) shoulders. But at least he had gotten fruit for lunch... Even it was kiwi ( it had been the cheapest thing at the market ), ”Sorry, Sunflower. I know how you aren't too fond of kiwi, but next time I'll get the biggest and shiny apple I can find.” The blonde smiled, swallowing down the last bit of fruit, Daddy kissed her cheek and went to check on Mama. Debbie emptied her stomach and covered it with sand, shame burned through her and her hands shake. Hazel hues scanned the surrounding area, no animals or her parents in sight, her stomach rolled. ( Mariann checks the test again. Checks the box to make sure she's reading it correctly. No, oh God, please no! Beside her, Nigel looks it over as well, and her stomach clenches. “It’ll be already, dearest.” Nigel kisses her forehead. ) Later when Debbie was in the bathroom washing her hands she found the little stick with a + on it, when she asked her Mama what it meant she started crying and Daddy rubbed her back and muttered things she couldn't understand.

LATE AFTERNOON:

“We can’t keep living like this, Nigel.”

“I know, dearest.” Rubbing a hand over his knuckles. ”Our show is nearly back, that film of the Wildebeest seems to have caught their attention and they said they would start funding our show again... if- if we kept filming.” Nigel raked a hand through his ponytail, wrong. That was so wrong. This is about his children and their happiness, not his. Nigel knew he was fooling himself into beliving if they kept going that things would get better, that they would have the show back. Debbie wouldn’t have to go hungry again, but weeks turned to months and then to years- Debbie was 2 years old when they begin filming and she’s 4 years old now. It was time to face the facts that the show wasn’t coming back and he hated himself for how blind he had been to not only himself but his wife and most of all to Debbie. His precious little sunflower. “Debbie deserves a better childhood then this-“ A hand reaches up to muffle a sob. “And,” she paused. Resting a hand atop her stomach. “I’m pregnant.” The words came out small and hushed like she didn't even want to hear the words. “I don’t want to bring another baby into this world not knowing if we can properly care for it.” Nigel remained silence, letting his wife vent out her feelings. She clearly needed this. “Just barely scraping by, we can hardly keep ourselves fed... Let alone Debbie. This isn't how a child should grow up.” Living day to day wasn’t how they wanted to raise their children, it wasn’t right. It wasn’t fair to anyone. ”Perhaps it is time we set down roots, for the sake of children.” This was about Debbie’s and their future baby’s wellbeing. They deserved a chance at a normal and stable childhood... They had already in slow ways ruined Debbie's. They had been incredibly selfish and they can never fix it. “I’m calling my mother tomorrow.” A laugh left her throat. “She’s been nagging us for years about moving back in with her and Dad.” Nigel nodded, he remembers. She wipes her eyes. Mariann was a bit bitter her mother always nagging about her job about how she was raising her child.... it was so frustrating. This is for the children, his is for the children, this is for the children. She kept repeating that phrase over and over in her head.

Ear pressed against the thin door, she knew she was supposed to be in the shower since it was her bath time, but her parents have been acting weird since they got home. A baby? A heavyweight settles against her chest, suddenly it was growing harder to breathe, trying to catch her breath. She couldn't, though, and her hands clenched. Her heart had sped up wildly and she couldn't seem to get it to calm at all. Something was horribly, horribly wrong. Her chest hurt, and she couldn't breathe and everything - it took her a few minutes to come down from it, and then there was nothing but exhausted crying. Slowly but surely her breathing because soft and her hands weren't shaking anymore, but that heavyweight atop her chest never seemed to fade. Mama was having a baby?

“Sweetheart, dinner will be—“ She froze, eyes wide and still clinging to the door like it were a lifeline. “Debbie. What's wrong?” Mariann already knew what was wrong and it broke her heart. The sound of her Mama's soft voice drags her from her thoughts. “N’tin’ jus’ sleepy...” Voice horse and small. Down on her knees in seconds, grabbing her baby into a tight hug combing slender fingers through golden locks. “Shhh, it’s alright. Mama’s got you.” A feeling of dread settled in the pit of her stomach, she felt worthless as a mother, like she failed her... Which she guessed she did, in a way. The guilt only ate away at her when blue hues landed on the bandage wrapped around her small hand, a spot of dark, crusted over blood seeped through, the air had been sucked from her lungs, eyes watering. Her hand. What happened to her hand? Mariann didn’t ask questions about how she got it, because like everything else she already knew. She cleaned the cuts, dressed it with fresh bandages and kissed her hand. “I’m so sorry, baby. Mama is so sorry.” Voice soft, heavy breathing and sobs escaping her Mama, gripping her Mama’s arm, the embrace was warm and soft and Debbie never wanted to leave. An unknown feeling settled in Debbie’s heart, it was all twisted and she didn’t understand why she felt this heavyweight in her heart and atop her shoulders. Was this her fault? A few moments later the sobs turned to whimpers and soon she was calm again. Mariann held her and curled up into the bed, told her about the animals the had filmed today. They stayed like that until dinner was ready.

They had dinner around 6pm, it was white rice and molasses ( which helps to sweeten the plain rice a bit ) Debbie hated how the molasses felt going down her throat, it sticks to the roof of her mouth and teeth and feels heavy in her stomach like swallowing bricks. But she ate because it made the hunger pains go away. Plus had the benefit of filling her up faster, which is probably why it was for dinner. Daddy let mama and Debbie eat first while he put the dishes away, Mama was silent doing most of the dinner. Hazel hues glanced up from her half-empty plate, stuffing a spoon full into her mouth. “I saw a pretty horsey t’day, it had, like, black and white strips.” Muttering with a mouth full. Mama looked up, a tired smile slowly crossing her lips a laugh leaving her throat. “That’s wonderful, sweetheart. But it’s called a zebra.” Debbie’s face lit up a wide smile, one of her front teeth was missing. “Zeb-r.” The word felt funny leaving her mouth. “You should go tell Daddy, I know he’ll be happy to hear that.” The blonde nodded. “But finish your dinner first.” She didn’t need to be told twice, she devoured it into minutes. While she was getting up from the table she noticed Mama had hardly touched hers, she frowned. Crossing her arms and planting herself back into her seat. “You gotta, like, eat, Mama.” Debbie looked her straight in the eyes ( which was something Debbie never really did. ) She wanted to prove her point that she needed to eat too. She watched her eat a few spoon fulls, a twitch of a smile crossed her face. “Good.” Giving a nod, before running off to tell her Daddy about the horsey, er, zebra.

LATER THAT NIGHT ( 7pm ):

It was a warm night, Mama had gone to bed the moment dinner was finished, she had helped Daddy put the dishes away. It was nice. She told him about the zebra and he rambled off facts about the said animal, every once in a while his eyes would linger on the bandage around her hand, Debbie knew he was chomping at the bit to ask her about it. But the words never left his throat, which Debbie was thankful for, she was far too exhausted to try and explain it. Once everything was put away and Debbie was in her footy pjs, Daddy took her up to the roof of the comvee to look at the stars. Hazel hues watched stars speed past eyes her, it was like someone had poured salt against very dark cloth. Curled up against her Daddy, apple in hand, rubbing a thumb across the smooth texture of the apple, it had warmed a bit in her hands. Finally, after a few moments the blonde raised it to her lips and took a huge bite out of it, shimming a put at the sweet taste of it, Daddy smiles down at her. “I’m glad you’re enjoying it, Poppet.” They continued like that throughout the night, pointing out various constellations until Debbie couldn’t keep her eyes open. Glancing down to the sleeping 4 year old wrapped up his arms, an apple lay forgotten still clenched between small fingers. “Don’t worry, Poppet, ” he whispers, eyes glossy with unshed tears. Placing a kiss, softly atop her forehead. ”Things- Things are going to be better... I promise.” He swore on his life that he would fix this, make sure Debbie grow up never being hungry or scared again. He wouldn’t let his baby girl suffer. Never again.

THE NEXT MORNING:

The camp was set up near a stream where they could get water and take baths, but it had dried up. It just happened to be the dry season in the Savanna meaning most of the plants shrivel up and die and sometimes the rivers and streams dry up, leaving behind dry cracked earth baking in the sun. A lot of the animals migrate to find food. Which was also what Daddy went to do since they had no water and food ( Debbie had eaten the last of the rice for breakfast, which made her feel guilty over because Mama and Daddy hadn’t eaten ) left Daddy had to go to the market early before the sun had even rose, he always said it was best plus the drive/hike there was long. It was just Mama and Debbie left to stay at camp and wait for him to return, it was hard because Debbie was so, so thirsty. Golden locks flapping in a sudden gust of heated wind. For a moment, everything was still and peaceful. Tired hazel hues flicked up to the face of her Mama, she looked worn and stressed. She swallowed it was like eating sandpaper, licking chapped lips.

Her mouth was so dry, tongue sticking to the room of her mouth. ”thirsty.” The words were forced from an aching throat, while Mama combed slender fingers through golden locks. ”I know, baby. Your father should be home soon.” Daddy has left early in the morning before the sun was even awake, he wanted to her to the market before everything was taken. They would need to have enough food to make the trip to Mariann’s parent’s house which would take a week or more.

A pause.

”Why don’t you try and get some rest.” Giving a weak nod, shutting glossy eyes. She was fighting off the tears she knew would fall if she kept trying to force words from dry lips. Debbie was just glad they had leftover rice from last night so at least, her stomach was full. Kind of, Debbie was never really full just enough to take the edge off of her growling stomach… Just enough to keep her alive. Debbie dreamed of laying on her back, hair flowing around like a helo, in a large body of water, the sea, she could taste the salt water on her lips. ( don’t drink the water, sweetheart ) the sun beating down against her skin, eyes lazily shutting a sigh of peacefulness leaves her lips. shoulders slacking, her whole body trying to jelly- the stress seemed to melt away in seconds. A wide smile reaches chapped lips, tiny hands dip under the clear water, cupping the water and raising it to her lips only for it to slip through her fingers. She tried again, but still, it spilled from her hands.

Tears well up, eyes glossy. Her breath hitching on a sob. No. No. No! She tried again but it ended the way. Warm tears spill freely down red cheeks. Again and again and again and again and again- “Deb-“ A Voice broke through the fog of the nightmare, it was her Mama. “Wake up, sweetheart.” Hazel hues snapped open and she jolts upright, chest heaving. “You were having a bad dream.” Blinking, once, twice. Her cheeks were wet. The nightmare was quickly forgotten when she heard her Daddy walking up to camp. “Hello, poppet!” The blonde jumped up, almost tripping over her own feet. rushing into her Daddy’s full arms. “Oof- it’s nice to see you too.” A bark of a laugh reached his throat. Mariann followed after her, a smile across her lips.

Nigel placed a kiss to the top of her head, sitting the bags down. Wiping an arm his wife. Nigel reached back and handed each of them a water bottle, Debbie’s eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. Hungrily twisting the cap off with her teeth, guzzling it down in three breaths, the plastic cheaking. Cooling her burning throat. Still gripping the bottle, almost scared that if she let go she’d never get water again. She knew that was a lie because Mama and Daddy would never let that happen. Her body desperately craving for more, the dry air was already beginning to dry out her mouth, she snapped it shut. Hazel hues glance up to Mama, she looks tired. Debbie instantly feels a stab of guilt clenching her insides, she should have saved some for Mama. Why didn’t she save some? Why was she so greedy and stupid? The blonde bites down on her quivering lip. ( She doesn’t realize there are more bottles. )

Chapter 10

Several hours had passed. Sara was not sure how long it had been. But dinner was almost complete. The pig that was slaughtered last month was further depleted than she had intially thought. There was but one ham left. She had to have Nathan slaughter the turkey instead of the chickens as to make up for the lack of pork. Luckily they had caught two wild turkeys the day after they had returned with the injured man, and had clipped their wings and put them in the coup with the chickens. If it wasnt for the turkey he would have had to kill a third chicken, but he had returned with the ham before slaughtering the fouls and Sara had instructed him to slaughter the turkey instead. She had made mashed potatoes, with diced sauteed onions mixed in. Gravy for the potatoes, and a salad to go with the turkey and ham she prepared. It wasnt anything fancy but it was what she could muster up in such a short time. The Injured man had awoken several times throughout the day but Nathan used his abilities to coax the man back to sleep. Currently he was wakeing up and seemed less groggy. Nathan was helping him wake up with some mundane concoction he made from some tealeaves and roots. Sara had told him that the next he was to awaken to let him wake up some for dinner. She wanted him to be awake enough to answer any questions Pops allowed her to ask. She couldnt remember the last time anyone was over for dinner. The first month they had arrived at her grandfathers a man from the capital had come out to investigate where Sara and her brothers had gone off to. He had not known that they were at there grandfathers, but instead thought he might know where they had gone. To his surprise they were there. He stayed for dinner and left the next day. Sara supposed that was probably the last time anyone was at the house other than the four of them. As Sara was removeing the turkey from the spit Nathan looked at her "Pops is almost here, i can hear him, he will be here in about a minute." Even after all this time she still was amazed at her brothers ability to hear things from so far off. But at times it seemed as though he couldnt hear anything. She supposed he could turn it on and off as he wished. Like she could with her elemental abilities. Zack walked threw the door almost exactly a minute later. With him was a short burly man.He was bout two full heads shorter than Zack, but looked to be as strong as an ox. His huge arms were as big around as Sara's legs and he carried a large two handed war hammer on his back along with a pack.The man, if it even was a man, wore simple leather armor with metal plates attached in locations that looked strategicly placed. Some of the metal plates looked to be damaged from spear points hitting it hard but not penetrateing through. On the plates and in the leather that wasnt covered were symbols that she could not understand. The short man looked around the room with an intense yet, happy look. "Something smells amazeing!" He announced "I brought ale for those with the stomach." He turned around and grabbed a barrel half his size with ease and threw it over his shoulder. "Where would u like me to place it old man" He asked looking at Zack. "Just over there in the corner we will get to it after the food." Zack looked genuinly happy and in good spirit. "Sara my dear, our friend here Dvärg," he said poiting at the burly man "is utterly correct it does smell amazeing in here. Thank you for seeing to my request I gave Nathan before I left. I apologize for the sudden departure earlier today but i was in a hurry and needed to make it North fast." Sara just nodded and set the table for six. The table was barely large enough to fit the six of them much less the food so she opted to leave the food on the counter to save space at the table. She began to prep the plates with food. As everyone made there way to the table Dvärg set the barrel in the corner and produced a wooden mug from his pack filling it with ale and made his way to the table. Zack was helping the soldier to the table. He seemed to be moveing alot easier than Sara had expected. Apparently her grandfathers healing abilities were not exagerated. All the plates were piled with food and divided around the table to all six people, and finally Sara could sit down here self and rest. She was famished and could not wait to eat, but her manners would not allow her to do so until everyone else had begun to eat and she was certain that no one else needed anything. As she was dividing the plates Nathan had decided to get beverage for everyone that did not have drink. "So as you may already have figured out this here is Dvärg" Zack waved his hand nonchalantly at Dvärg, "He is a Dwarf of the Kalidar mountains to the north," Zack layed his hand on the dwarfs shoulder, "he is a great friend, and a fearless ally in battle." Dvärg stood and took a bow. Sitting back down with a smile he added "But not as fearless as the old man here, I know personaly his abilities in battle, and am only alive due to his prowess in war!" "A dwarf?" questioned Sara. "Dwarves are not real. There just made up stories to keep children entertained. You dont honestly expect us to believe this Dvärg is from a mythical race of people that do not exist. Do you?" Dvärg stopped with his mug halfway to his lips, sighed, and set his mug back down. "Little miss, if i am not real then how do i sit infront of you now?" Sara rolled her eyes "I did not say you were not real i said you are not a Dwarf. Sure you look different than most people i have seen but that does not make you a person of a mythological race." Looking at Zack and then to Nick, Dvärg gestured "Is this him? The strong one? He looks to be stout." Nodding Zack commented "Stronger than most dwarves ive ever met maybe even stronger than Dvärg the Blacksmith." With a smurk that was somewhat comforting Dvärg looked at Nick "So would u like to put your Strength to the test? I belive if i could prove my strength here and now little miss there" pointing at Sara " might belive what i am saying. For no human alive could match the strength of a dwarf. If im not mistaken that is the belief of you humans, am i wrong?" Knowing that there was no way this man nor another was able to surpass her brothers strength Sara felt confident that this Dvärg was getting himself into more than he could handle just gave a knowing smile. "How about it Nick? An arm wrestle? A tug-o-war? Would u be willing to test Dvärg's strength to your own?" Zack questioned looking nathan right in the eyes with a smurk on his face. Nick simply stood up removed everything from the table that his grandfather and brother had used to hold the bandages and medicines next to the soldiers bed, and set it next to Dvärg and placeing his chair at the small table. Nathan put his elbow on the surface of the table and opened his hand showing that he was willing to test this so called dwarves strength. "Dont hold back my boy. Dvärg can handle his own. If you do he will not and u will sorely regrett it. Understood?" Zack said with a slight hint of sarcasm in his voice. Smileing Dvärg swung around backwards on his chair and classped hands with Nick. As soon as there hands met Nick could feel the strength in the dwarfs grip. Eyes widening and a smirk on his face Nick prepared for what he was now sure would be the best test of his abilities for as long as he could remember. Dvärg counted to three in the language of his people "Ett, Två, Tre." As Dvärg said the final word both mens muscles tensed and the battle had begone. It was a deadlock. Neither Nick nor Dvärg were gaining ground. Small movements from side to side as one or the other gave sudden bursts of strenght is all that could be seen. Sara could not believe this man was holding Nick and giveing him a run for his strength. Sweat began to bead on the heads of the two men as the stuggle continued on, hitting one minute in deadlock then two. "Nick u got this theres no way you can let him win" Nathan gasped with such amazement that he could barely get the words out. Dvärg resituated his legs slightly and with a groan and started to slowly overpower Nicks ability to hold his arm up upright. The force being applied to the table was so emence that cracks started to form under there elbows. As Nicks arm came to a fourty-five degree angle he stretched his fingers one at a time untill his hand was fully open. With a sudden burst of strenght that would have shattered any other mans arm Nick put his all into the one on one battle he was fighting. Closeing his hand he strained like he had never had to before and pushed back against the dwarves onslaught. Slowly he pushed back reaching the apex of the arc and continueing on till Dvärg's hand was but a mere inch from the table. There they sat for what seemed like an hour but was truly but a few seconds when Dvärg could no longer hold it and lost his will to fight on. The force released from Nick's counter push was so strong the table splintered into a heap of wood as the back of Dvärg's hand smacked the table. Panting and sweating profusely Nick looked up at the dwarf with such amazement. Never in his wildest dreams did he believe another man could hold his own as this one had in a test of strength against him. Nick had won but it was the hardest faught battle of strength he had ever been in. Sara could not believe her eyes. There is no way a normal human could have done that. The amount of force that was excerted onto that table was so emince that she could feel the thump in her chest as the air rushed out from under the back of Dvärg's had as it smacked the table. In astonishment Dvärg stood up panting and covered in sweat. He looked at Zack then back to Nick "The old man was right. You do have the Gudastyrka. I did not believe that was possible in a human." Confused, everyone includeing the soldier who was just starting to come out of his daze, looked at Dvärg. Everyone but Zack who knew what he was talking about.

Unprepared and happyly drinking they never had expected their allies to stab them in the back. Due this Corward like act the Starks lost power… all of them were killed and the Boltons were the new Wardens of the North. The Whitehills, who stood under the banner of the Boltons, now used this to attack their Enemy, the Forresters. But the house was strong and they’d never bent to him. So like the Coward he is, Ludd Whitehill called Ramsay Snow(then he still was called snow.), for help. Ethan was after Rodriks death the new Lord… But Ramsay didn’t like a bold Lord… so he got rid of him. Not caring Ramsay stabbed the poor young boy in his throat, killing him infront of his Family. With that Ramsay went away again… But somehow the gods still watched over house Forrester, because Rodrik survived and found his way back home. Your Story: Lord Forrester was your Uncle. You lived with your Mother in Ironrath till you turned 6 years old. Everything seemed to be okay… till Lord Forrester found out about your little friendship with Gwyn Whitehill(10 years). She had found this little hidden Cave on one of her many adventures through the Forest of Ironrath. It was hidden well enough, so no one ever found it so no one could steal anything. Today was a perfect day for the Hunt, even though Whitehill Soldiers were patroling through the forest. (Y/N) slowly took her bow and skillfully pulled the string back, holding the bow perfectly still. She had been following this deer for half a day now. A sudden rustle infront of her made her head snap up. ‘There you are!’ She thought letting go of the string. The Arrow pierced through the air and hit the target, which let out a river of curses….. Wait… what? Since when do Deers spek? Putting the Bow on her back the (H/C) haired girl slowly walked closer, pulling a knife from her holdster.

“Seven fu**ing HELLS!!” A voice roared, making the girl jump. From behind a tree (Y/N) finally could see the source of the cussing. It was a quiet handsome Men, with black hair and a slight beard. She watched as said stranger tried to pull out the arrow. He didn’t do a very good job… even from this distance she could tell he was only making it worse. “Wait! Don’t.“ She didn’t even realize she said that until her eyes locked with his. Letting out a sigh, said girl stepped outside of the shadows tucking her knife away. "You’re making it worse..” She said slowly stepping closer. The mens brows furrowed as he sent a glare at the girl. (Y/N) stopped shortly in her tracks. “I am not here to hurt you.” She said calmly stepping closer again. “Oh aren’t ya, eh? And I am sure it was the Deer who shot me in my FU**ING LEG?!” The poor girl winced at his sudden outburst. “Okay… I am not here to hurt you on purpose…?” She tried again, making the man raise an eyebrow at her. “Whatever, get out of my sight before I decide to slaughter you.” He sneered going back to trying to pull out the arrow. “Now that trick I’d like to see with the arrow still in your leg.” She sassed back at him. His head snapped up at her words. Did she not know who he was? Well clearly not or she wouldn’t be this bold. 'Oh this was going to be a fun game.’ He thought to himself, a small smirk making itself shown on his lips. “Don’t tempt me to do it. I’ve had worse.” The girl raised an eyebrow at him. “Did you now?” She mumbled. She then stepped beside him and kneelt down beside his leg with the arrow still stuck. “Geez you men are all the same… rude, vain and always try to be the Alpha…-” (Y/N) said as she examed the wound, making the Male sent her another glare again, which went unnoticed from said girl. “If you'd kept this up, you wouldn’t have been able to walk for at least a Month.. but I think I can save you from that." (Y/N) looked up again when she finished, wanting to ask if he could hold still… that’s when she noticed how close they were now. Due her examination she seemed to have crept closer and the men seemed to have leaned in as well, wanting to see what she was doing. Their Noses were almost touching but noone of them moved an inch. He wanted to say something, make her feel embarassed but nothing came out. (Y/N) finally snapped out of it and quickly scrambled backwards a bright red blush appearing on her cheeks. "Uh… can you- can you hold still?” She mumbled embarassed quickly getting everything out she needed for the treatment. And yet again he smirked at her cute behavour. 'Cute?! The hell are you thinking? It must be the blood loss…’ He thought to himself. While he was caught in his thoughts he didn’t notice the woman step closer again. But a sudden sharp pain made him bite back a scream of pain. “Seven FU**ING HELLS!!!" He said through gritted teeth as he sent a glare her way. That’s when he noticed the Arrow in her hand and a worried…? look on her face. "Oh Dear I am so sorry! I just thought it would be better if it’s over quickly and well… you were in thought and I just thought… I am sorry, you okay?” She finally asked after her rambling. His eyes widened slightly at that. She really had no idea who he was… but somehow he liked it. It was the first time someone really cared about his pain. “ ’s fine…” He answered as he watched her starting to clean his wound. Ramsay was watching her intently as she worked on his leg. His eyes wandered from her slender fingers upwards towards her clevage(Nawww that’s dirty! You little Bad Boy!!), and then further up towards her face. His eyes graced her every feature and he had to admit… she was quiet beautiful, even though her hair was a little messy. Probably from being in the forrest all day. Luckyly for him this thoughts distracted him enough so he didn’t feel the pain, when the needle pierced through his skin. “All done… should be good in a few days.. but you should show it to a Maester, just to be sure.” She said smiling softly at him.

Ramsays eyes followed her as she got up and seemingly getting ready to leave. Before he could even register what he was doing, Ramsay shot up. He wanted to ask for her name but all that came out was a strangled noise of pain. The girls eyes shot towards him, as she quickly was by his side. "Are you alright?!” She asked worriedly. The male hissed again as he remembered how he got here… A plot against him… These damn Bastards stabbed him in his Stomache.. “Yes I’m fine.. You can go now..” He grumbled. (Y/N) squinted her eyes at him not really beliving what he said. She then noticed he was holding onto his stomach. “Remove your hand.” She said trying to pry away his hand already. "No! The hell leave me alo- AGH!" Ramsay let out a his yet again when she finally could pull his hand away. A gasp left the girls lips. "Why didn't you tell me?! This could kill you!" She gasped, seeing the now fresh blood flowing again. Finally realizing just how much blood he had lost till now, Ramsays vision started to get blurry slowly. 'No.. Not now.' He thought trying to stay awake. He still didn't trust this girl and while everything around him started to fade he knew... If this girl was an Enemy he'd be fu**ed. As he slowly closed his eyes he still could hear her shouting. After what felt for him like Minutes he slowly opened his eyes again, groaning at the bright light. As his eyes finally got used to the light again, Ramsay finally could look around. He was near a small river and it seemed he was still in the very same forest. Looking beside him he finally caught sight of the Woman, who was very much asleep. He smirked slightly at that as he scooted closer slowly. Ramsays eyes traveled up and down her Body again taking everything in. She was quiet beautiful.... how he'd love to hear her scream. It would be so easy now, to hurt her, make her scream... but he didn't.. instead his hand softly caressed her cheek. Even though the soft touch, (Y/N) woke up. Her hand shot upwards and grabbed his wrist making him stop. Her (E/C) eyes shot open to be met with Ramsays bright blue ones. His eyebrows were raised in confusion and a smirk was dancing across his lips. "No need to fret.. I won't hurt you..... Much." He said with a teasing tune in his voice. (Y/N) laughed slightly at that. "I see you are feeling better." With that said she slowly got to her feet, dusting the dirt off, of her dress. "Very Well, I need to go now... show that wound better to a Maester." She chirped and started to walk back towards her hideout. But a hand on her wrist stopped her. "Wha-!?" She couldn't finish as Ramsay spun her around. The next thing she realized was a soft warm feeling on her lips. But as soon as it came... it was gone again. "W-wha... why?" (Y/N) started to stumble over her words. Ramsay had a (Sexy!!!!) smirk on his face. "I-I don't even know your Name.. a-a-and you just..." Ramsay placed a finger on her lips shushing her. "Ramsay, My name is Ramsay Snow." (Y/N) heart dropped at this. Of course... when she finally fell in Love with someone it had to be a Psychotic Murderer that also killed her Cousin, Ethan. Said men was watching her expression change from shocked, to confused and at least to... hurt? "My Name is (Y/N) Forrester." Finally he understoof the girls confusion. 'A Forrester? I have Sympathie for a freaking Forrester?!' He thought, clenching his jaw. But then he suddenly relaxed and his frown turned into a smile. He took a step closer again and placed his hands on both sides of her face. Pulling her closer again he kissed her with more passion. And this time she kissed back. But just as it was about to get deeper he pulled away again. A squeak left her mouth as Ramsay suddenly scooped her up into his arms and started to walk, ignoring the girls protests. What he said next surprised the girl, making her keep quiet. "I don't like your Name.. Let's change that, Eh?"
