Collector design my Owl House Free?/Technically Trapped AU concept.

Being only partly trapped has left the Collector stuck in a weird position between shadow and physical form. He can't get far from the seal and resorts to carrying it around with him. Some things of note:

-he has the mask and cloak of the coven scout who freed him. Unfortunately they lied to get him to leave them behind. Belos did not let the scout survive.

-dug his backpack out of someone's trash so he could carry the slab around easier. Also keeps other things he likes in it.

-has a Titan plush named Lord that he made with parts from other plushies. He made him after a few days of being alone.

The plush looks like this.

Also, the Collector's goal here is to find a Titan who can free him properly from the spell, but he has no idea where to begin looking. And that also comes with the added issue of trying to run from Belos and his Coven Scouts.

Scout enjoying the sun after a rainy day yesterday!

We have a particular affection for dragons at the Sanctuary, Scout is one of the youngest at 203 years old. He's a childish boy who loves mischief. Not to say he is mean-spirited, rather, he's a prankster. While Phil Yeh is a jokester and sometimes makes jokes with no punchline, Scout will do things like offer you gum and you pull on it and get a shock. He likes to hide behind corners and yell "Boo!" at people.

If he gets too riled up, one of the older dragons will put him in his place. Sometimes it's Onyx or Wyveri. It's generally Cinder since she has a massive height advantage. She'll pick up Scout by the scruff of his neck like a cat and put him in a really deep box.

Scout hatched a little early; he was a premature dragon. As such, his wings never fully developed the capacity to carry him, so he can't fly. He walks though. That's good enough for him. He'd probably be more of a menace if he could fly!

Scout has a little zipper in his back where you can put scent pouches. He smells like clean baby right now, but we're looking to get him more pouches.

Firstly, I think your dream of opening a Jellycat shop sounds amazing and I hope you keep working towards it!

Now a question: I know Jellycats are your special interest. What are your favorite things to do regarding it? Cataloguing, taking pics, collecting, scouting for retired ones... Sorry for the maybe weird question, your blog was the one that got me to know these plushies and really want to have my own :)

I think that's a really nice question that I have never actually been asked before. This may get long...

I LOVE cataloguing. Photoshoots can definitely be fun, too, though my boyfriend is usually the one who takes the photos. But I really spend most of my time cataloguing, working on my excel sheets, collecting information and facts and making sure everything is neat and in order😉 And although over the last few years my collection of Jellycats has gotten quite big, my special interest is not really about the collecting part for me. I wouldn't call myself a collector. I am most happy when I can either work on cataloguing/sorting information or when I can work on this blog. But before you think I spend all my days stuck inside, I also love going out to spot Jellycats in real life, of course! I'm always happy to find new places that sell them and maybe even get into a chat with the shop owners.

I'm glad I could introduce you to the brand and I hope you can get your very own Jellycat soon!

Toei and Bandai’s marketing departments created an official all purpose logo for internationally labeling Kamen Rider!

Also, Kamen Rider is getting an official merch store in Tokyo!

A concept of the brick and mortar store’s layout shows it will have plenty of high end collector merch as well as stuff for visiting tourists like stationery, keychains and plushies. 

The shop will have the hero emblems adorned on the walls and images of heroes from all three eras of the series. In the center of the store, to catch the attention of shoppers, is a figure of the currently active hero (in this case Zero-One) to take pictures and selfies with! 

The opening on July 1st will also feature exclusive sales of the Scouting Panda Progrise Key.

How Far We’ve Come

Hey, everypony! I just had the pleasure of, after looking into it for two years, attending the final Bronycon! I definitely have....many thoughts, so this post might be a bit longer.

First off, I’ve fallen a touch out of line with the series, and apart from basic characters and cutie mark designs, I was starting to wonder if it was worth keeping up with the show anymore. I still remember some of the best times I’ve had watching the earlier seasons with my friends back in California; that definitely makes me sound like a Facebook mom, but, it’s true, we had an awesome run. Once the Season Five finale rolled around, however, and I moved, and suddenly all those times swapping fan animation links before class and designing cutie marks and eating cake ended....I started to move on a bit. I watched other cartoons, checked the FIMfiction page once in a while, and started saving for BronyCon more or less just as a promise I made to little Scout. 

However! Walking into the convention hall for the first time, finally getting the passes, and seeing everyone with pony ears and tails....that was the most excited I’ve been in such a long time. (Everyone was happy...cheer was filling up the place....and I saw that every brony had, a smile upon their faaaace....) Every single one of those episodes I watched before anyone else was up to every character I designed when I finished everything early, that all hit at once, and, Celestia’s hooves, shout-out for my poor non-brony best friend in Tennessee who had to listen to me update every photo and comment and cosplay and panel as they came. 

I had some of the best conversations I’ve ever had with the people I met in line; take my word for it, everyone at that convention was super sweet and cute, and really added some interesting ideas that I hadn’t thought about before. 

If you didn’t see me smiling...you got the wrong Scout. There was always so much going on that I adored, and even in the hallways, brony groups would burst into song or...I made paper stars with one guy who just set up a table for fun, everyone was so friendly. I actually found JediShy completely by accident in line for Pastel Pastures (where they had the DIY mini plushies, but you had to kick flank to be in line by time)--even though I’m not on the MLP Forum (that will change as soon as I post this) yet, he gave me an awesome bracelet for finding him that I have not taken off since then! 

Ah, and as for collectibles and swag...so much swag.....

At certain panels, they held raffles, competitions, and giveaways, and for the most part, I was there to watch; but, it’s worth mentioning now that I am somewhat of a collector of any and everything, in the sense more akin to a squirrel than a professional antiquarian. (Layton fans, start a name for this.) I have small collections of buttons, erasers, stickers, fast food toys, figurines, trading cards, business cards, baseballs, golf balls, rubber ducks, Hot Wheels, and chapsticks...anything that strikes my fancy at the time, and no, you may not have one. I’ve been collecting things that make me happy for as long as I can remember, and for one who considers “business cards” a collectible item, I had a lot of fun picking up the freebies! (*coughs* Although, if anyone’s interested in custom plushies--@peruserofpieces, also known as Peruser’s Plushies, has the most adorable business cards I’ve ever seen!) As for the vendor hall, I left with wayyy too many buttons and I love them all to bits! Definitely a big plus!

All of the panels were pitch-perfect as well--I just wish I had a Time Turner of some sort to see them all, but of the ones I saw....the cosplay asks were funny and perfectly in character, the G1-G3.5 histories were all definitely worth the time, and the animations were breathtaking.

So, in short....Bronycon was super amazing, and, even though I’ve only been this one time....I’m really sad to see it go. I had such an amazing time (84 hours of straight euphoria and a bunch of energy drinks running though my bloodstream at the minute!) and I feel like...the bronies really are a family, of sorts. The community was perfect from the bat, and I might never have felt as infinite as I did at the convention--and I know this is true for many others as well. The series really reached a lot of fans, and Equestria will never die.

So....See You Next Summer, I suppose. I realize there are other conventions (I actually looked into them at Bronycon), but I can’t say whether or not I’ll make another one soon. This one was quite possibly the best farewell we could have given nine years of love and dedication....and of course, I would always love to meet another True True Friend with an interest in the series any time.

So cause I’m home sick and we’re planning on doing a blizz gear shipment bundle tonight (bc black friday sale is probs best time to get anything we want from blizzard), I’m doing a little scouting to keep myself busy.

I hop onto blizzard, thinking all is well bc hey! The whelp plushies will be on sale! And Phil wants to get them for me for xmas. A great time! 

They’ve discontinued the nightmare whelpling plush.

It’s been on there for mONTHS and we’ve just got round to getting it and,,,,, it’s gone. I thought the crimson whelp would be the only one that would cost an arm and a leg, but no - now bc they’ve restricted supply, the collector demand pushes the prices to extremes.
