This post is meant all in good fun and is not intended to offend anyone's religious or spiritual sensibilities. I'd hope any Ghost fan would realize that, but you never know. I tagged this with "Scooby-Doo Satanism" for that reason. That said, if you DO want to do this in earnest, feel free. Also CW/TW for Catholicism.
So I thought to myself, "Self, Ghost sells Grucifix rosaries. There's also the "Dark Lord’s Prayer" in Ritual. And the "Holy Mother" bridge in Griftwood is kind of like a Hail Mary."
So I researched and embellished upon traditional rosary prayers and came up with this. Based upon the Meliora rosary because that's the one I have.
All prayer/lyrics credit to our Tender Father.
Begin by holding the Grucifix and reciting (or singing, if you prefer) The Depth of Satan's Eyes (Prayer A):
Into the eyes of fire
Into the gaze ablaze
Into the burning light
Of Satan's rays
Into the source of wisdom
Beyond the Bible lies
Into the endless depth
Of Satan's eyes
Next, on the first large bead, recite The Dark Lord’s Prayer (Prayer B):
Our father, who art in Hell
Unhallowed, be Thy name
Cursed be the sons and daughters
Of Thine nemesis who are to blame
Thy kingdom
Come

On each of the following large beads, recite The Holy Mother (Prayer C, 3x total):
Holy Mother
You washeth the sin from my feet
Holy Mother

The world rests heavy on your shoulders

And the stars in the sky
In the space before the next large bead, recite Year Zero (Prayer D):

The ancient Serpent Deceiver
To masses standing in awe
He will ascend to the heavens
Above the stars of god
Hell Satan, Archangelo
Hell Satan, welcome Year Zero!
Repeat The Dark Lord’s Prayer (B) on the next large bead.
On the space after the bead, recite Per Aspera Ad Inferi (Prayer E):
Oh Satan, devour us all
Hear our desperate call
Per aspera ad inferi (x4)
Continue along the strand widdershins (counter-clockwise), and repeat The Holy Mother (C) on the next 9 large beads (9x total).
Repeat Year Zero (D), Dark Lord’s Prayer (B) and Per Aspera Ad Inferi (E) before, on, and after each single large bead, respectively, as before (3x total).
Repeat Prayers B-E in the same manner until returning to the Bite of Passage (the Y junction leading back to the Grucifix).
Four final prayers, Stand By Him (F), Majesty (G), Con Clavi Con Dio (H), and Satan Prayer (I), end the rosary, again holding the Grucifix:

there's something to be said for how different my experiences with xtianity were due to moving so frequently + being autistic
the primary church I went to as a kid we left at 9 due to moving states, and my mom promptly cut me off from my friends because of her own bullshit drama
the next church was a megachurch that was equal parts fucking nightmare and kinda fun. there were good parts (pizza parties, free toys, animal nights) and also yknow. being a fucking megachurch.
the next one was honestly just. straight up a fucking cult and I caught on... fast I think? we went because my sister was friends with the pastors daughters, and there was like. 200 people total. the pastor and his wife were like, yknow, super missionary, white people who stole adopted like 5 brown kids. always talked about how "strapped for money" they were while living in a literal fucking mansion on one of the great lakes.
also their daughters CONSTANTLY stole me and my sisters stuff ??? probably bc they used every dime to yknow, run a cult, but it drove me insane. I was 11-13, old enough to be forming my own opinions and I knew something was fucking wrong
it also happened around the time I got diagnosed, plus i had always been bullied horrifically for being Obviously Autistic and also the certified weird ""girl"", so I managed to wiggle my way out of going to church.
after that we moved again, I got forced to go to church once but had such a fucking meltdown over their awful speaker system that I managed to never have to go to church again. also my sleep issues got so bad that my mom I think genuinely just wanted me to sleep because I was barely getting any sleep and my dad was refusing to give any money to get me treatment
but. if I hadn't been autistic, I think things would've gone very fucking differently. because my mom saw my reasoning as legitimate (getting physically bullied at every church, not being able to sit thru a sermon without having a meltdown), I got a free pass to stop going. so I got out early. I probably wouldn't have if I was neurotypical.

is that a thing? Are there requirements or something? Is it a good idea??
If you're asking me about Catholic rules, I have no fucking idea lol. This is Scooby-Doo Satanism ghestie, you do what you want. I've seen plenty of people make their own rosary/prayer beads so I'm sure there are guides online. I say go for it!

I really want to hear the opinions you have on this! What horror movies do you think the main npmd characters like to watch? I don't know much about horror movies (yet) but I like to think Max is the kind of guy who is genuinely scared of the live action Scooby Doo movies
Yes absolutely! Enjoy below the cut!! (Cos it's long and I'm sorry about that-)
I'll start with Max since you mentioned him. He's absolutely scared of even the Scooby Doo cartoons. Because of the fear of skeletons and ghosts. So he stays right away from paranormal movies. I think Ghost face even is a hard no, too. However: I think he liked the purge movies. Because those are just guns, really. But like. That's probably the only horror he likes.
Stephanie I think is a bad movies and popular movies enjoyer. She likes the most popular movies (Halloween, Elm Street, Friday, Etc) but then will pull out the most random movie you've never heard of (Frogs) and it'll be a moment and a half. She collects the memorabilia and has the replica of the Reverse Bear Trap even though I don't think she loves Saw. She's seen all of them. But I don't think she'd intentionally go out of her way to rewatch them outside of watching with somebody else. Not to say she hates gore, though. I think she'd love Terrifier and it's sequel. She probably saw them at the cinema.
Peter mildly dislikes horror. He's probably more fond of horror comedies. Things like child's play and the more recent elm street movies. He probably likes the Jordan Peele horror movies, too. Other than that, I think he'd like making fun of shitty B movies with Steph because making fun of them is the best part. He also probably unironically enjoyed the original black and white Universal Monsters movies. He has those vibes.
Richie is a film geek who watches anime and because I'm those things he gets the "he's just like me" and he loves all sorts of horror but in a more pretentious way than me. He's a stickler for the classics, probably hates all the remakes/requels - he refuses to acknowledge their existence. He probably has a list of his top favourites which involves the original Psycho, Halloween, Alien, and basically any other movie that was "revolutionary" to the genre. He does have a guilty pleasure for so bad they're good movies though. Mainly killer klowns. Also his ass probably likes the unique/artsy films like Jordan Peele's Get Out and Skinamarink.
Ruth hates all horror and she only watches the horror musicals. Thus her favourite horror movie is Sweeney Todd. She will happily vacate the room or hide under a blanket, thank you very much.
Grace thinks horror is satanic and, as a joke, I think the nerds would show her The Nun. And she grows a minuscule obsession with horror movies with religious themes and backgrounds. Like the Exorcist, the other nun films, midsommar, and Carrie to name a few. She would refuse liking them, of course. But she gets away with watching them from describing only the religious meanings.
