I wonder what Aziraphale looked like during the first war for so many angels and demons to comment on how he’s gone soft and his body has gone soft and he’s not “a fighting machine” anymore. Like was Aziraphale ripped? Was he a war machine? Did he absolutely whip that sowrd around and lead a garrison? Like I feel like he had to be at one point for so many comments to be made now. And now I’m imagining like retired war hero Aziraphale dreading the blood on his hands and trying to find peace but being dragged back into another war despite all. Because instinct is a terrible thing.
