Just yesterday I was at the Palestinian borders, watching Israeli buildings wishing to spit at them. Roads and houses, as perfect as in Europe you could say, while the rightful ones live in shattered homes. I don't know what else to say, but I quote yesterday:

"Inshallah the earth beneath their feet will fall apart and shatter their bones, fuck all of those zionists."

If you use arab.org like I do please consider taking the extra 30-60 seconds to click on ALL of their causes. Palestine is important but so are the environment, refugees, children, women, and the impoverished across the middle east and it doesn't take away from Palestine to click for multiple causes. The arab world faces a lot of problems and they only get worsened by how western nations have oppressed and attacked them. Clicking is small but it generates something and overtime it does benefit the greater good. It takes all of us clicking as often as possible but we can do it! It's really easy and safe and they have proofs on their site on how they do make an impact and are donating your click money

But they're the victims? They're the ones we should sympathize with?

I can not wrap my head around this it's so insane to me how people still sympathize with these things. Fuck Israel.

Free Palestine is NOT a debate! You either support saving innocent human lives or you agree with Israel's oppression. If you choose to stay silent and support the people and brands that back Israel, you side with the oppression and genocide. Israel vs Palestine is not a fight about your religion or nationality, it is a matter of humanity. You can be Jewish and support Palestine. You can be Israeli and support Palestine. There is no such thing as boycott exhaustion or frustration. I can't stop thinking about the pain of the Palestian mothers who carry their children for 9 months, feeling their tiny kicks and flutters, dreaming of the day they will hold them in their arms, nourishing them with their own blood, only to have them ripped from her arms and bombed, killed, and murdered by merciless Zionists.

I put this on a bunch of shirts and stickers and stuff, I figure it'll be good for protests and campus activism. Found here. As usual ALL PROCEEDS are for my Palestinian best friend, to help take care of his loved ones. He'll donate any his family doesn't need to the charities he works with.

To my fellow grad students: this friend and I are working with our department on making it easier for grads to bow out of research they have a moral objection to. We're also working on putting together a statement on Palestine. If you have a lot of colleagues on your side and particularly if you're in a program like engineering, physics, astronomy or applied math (with a lot of military applications) you should try to see where your funding is coming from and support grads in divesting from ethically questionable research. I won't say too much about what we're doing because I don't want to risk doxing my friend, but here are some examples of statements from grads at the Goldman School of Public Policy and the UCSC Astronomy Department. We (STEM students in particular) are the next generation of minds behind the military-industrial complex. It's up to us to make it clear we will not be complicit in work that supports genocide.
