Not only that it is not a possible and sustainable solution, when you’re “demanding” a ceasefire, you’re complete ignoring that:

-Hamas broke the Ceasefire deal that took place during the hostages release deal multiple times.

-Hamas has refused the ceasefire deal multiple times.

-Hamas started this war with their invasion of Israel on the October 7th massacre. And if you’re about to comment that the “occupation” started in 1948- open a book, the conflict & Palestinian terror organisations started before it.

-Hamas is a terrorist organisation and Israel has the right to defend itself.

There are 134 hostages that have been held in captivity for over 130 days . During the October 7th They took civilians as hostages, and have killed approximately 1/5 of them already.

Some hostages are held by civilians, and were sold to terrorists . The youngest hostage taken was 9 month old.

Tldr: While it’s just a trend for you, it’s a matter of life and death for us Israelis. And if you’re not going to properly educate yourself about the conflict- don’t harass us.

נקודה מאוד מעניינת ששמעתי כמה פעמים בחודש המזוויע הזה, היא שהעולם מתרחק מתפיסת טוב מול רע ומאמץ תפיסה של חזק מול חלש.

זה נפוץ בעיקר בחוגים פרוגרסיביים במערב, אבל לא רק. כולנו יודעים שהעולם הוא לא שחור ולבן והרבה דברים הם לא 100% טוב או 100% רע, הנרטיב של חזק-חלש מעודד ניואנס והתחשבות במעמדות ובמאבקי כוחות והוא הוליד הרבה דברים טובים. תנועת מי טו למשל הגיעה מהמקום הזה, שאנחנו מאמינים לקורבנות כי מעצם היותם קורבנות קשה להם להשמיע את הקול שלהם.

אבל, ויש פה אבל גדול, במיוחד עכשיו אנחנו רואים את הנרטיב הזה הולך מהמקום הניואנסי של להטיל יותר אחריות על מי שחזק, לסוג החדש של קיצוניות וראייה דיכוטומית - אם אתה חלש, מסכן, קורבן - מותר לך לעשות הכל.

בהקבלה למי טו, אז לא הייתה מסה של אנשים ליברלים שאמרו שתלונות שווא, לצורך העניין, הן כלי לגיטימי במאבק לשוויון מגדרי כי גברים הם חזקים ונשים הן מוחלשות אז מותר להן לעשות כל מה שהן רוצות כדי להשתחרר מכבלי תרבות האונס. מה השתנה?

למה הם תולשים פוסטרים של ילדים חטופים? למה הם מסרבים להאמין שקרה פה טבח נורא? כי זה יהפוך אותנו למסכנים, ואם אנחנו מסכנים הם חייבים להיות בצד שלנו. הם חייבים להאמין שזה לא קרה. לאורך ההיסטוריה אידיאולוגיות השתנו מקצה לקצה, אבל איכשהו, הבעיה תמיד נשארה היהודים. אחרי מלחמת העולם הראשונה, כשגרמניה הייתה בשפל כלכלי והמפלגה הנאצית עלתה לשלטון, את מי האשימו? את היהודים, ששולטים בכסף ובבנקים. וכמעט 100 שנה אחר כך, בעידן פוסט-קולוניאליסטי, מי הקולוניאליסט הכי גדול? היהודים.

והם לא יתנו לעובדות לבלבל אותם. אשכרה קיימים אנשים שטוענים שאין דבר כזה העם היהודי, ושאין לו קשר לארץ ישראל, כולנו אנשים לבנים מרחבי העולם שהמציאו זהות תרבותית משותפת כדי לצבור כוח ולהשתלט על אדמות פלסטין. אותם אנשים שמופתעים כל פעם מחדש ששחקן עם אף גדול הוא לא יהודי כי ״יש לו וייב״.

גם אנחנו, לצערי, לא נקיים מהתחושה שאנחנו מסכנים אז יש לנו פטור מהמוסר ומהחוק. כל מנטליות ״ישראל השנייה״, הפוליטיקאים שלנו שהמשפחות שלהם דוכאו בעבר, מרגישים שמותר להם שחיתות ומותר להם מינוי מקורבים ומותר להם שוחד. ועכשיו כשטבחו בנו, ואנחנו מרגישים מפוחדים וחלשים ובצדק, אני פתאום שומעת מכל פינה ״כהנא צדק״, ״לשטח את עזה״, ״להטיל עליהם פצצת אטום״.

אם נתנהג כמו השכנים שלנו, מהר מאוד ניראה כמו השכנים שלנו. זו המלחמה הפנימית שלנו, גם כמדינה וגם כאינדיבידואלים.
