I turn 23 in a couple of days. a lot of thoughts and not quite enough words to go about how my 22nd year went. I think it was a year fortified - maybe guarded - by a deep, drawn out silence, and a lot of ways to try and edge voice out again. a lot of changes. but still a lot of gratitude for everything so knitted, weaved into the thread of grace (that holds me so delicately. a skein away from pitfall and a skein apart from glory), all the people who came and held my hands gently. 

I would have needed this year to get on with the next - this of the timeliness of God I only know. 

Working From Home

tuesday, nov 17 • stills from an october diary

a collection of many small moments to comprise of my october diary. last month had a lot of happy moments scattered throughout, but also it was the month where my anxiety hit the peak(!) yoikes ;u; it just really felt like things (that i’m particularly happy about) are always changing and happening to me, and i have to “accept” them. but, at least i think this month i’ve finally stopped resisting as much, which has a helped a lil’ bit! maybe next month i’ll start feeling good about the changes?? haha baby steps u know (´・ω・`)

I can’t believe I’m 18 now; how have we been in quarantine for this long? 😷 it’s strange becoming an adult in this time… I feel like I’ve done quite a bit of growing up these past several months, but in many ways I still feel like a child. 

despite life being very turbulent at the moment, I’m grateful to be here. there’s so much left to be done and I’m so glad I can vote this year!

so thankful my work is giving me the entire week off for thanksgiving because i was definitely steadily moving towards burn out. not exactly sure what i’ll spend my “free week” doing, but !! i hope i can keep myself busy enough to be content, but free enough to get a little more relaxed hehe. also, i’ve been playing around with makeup for the first time in my life and wow !! what a journey LOL
