i remember learning about roe v wade in class. i so hoped and wished that it would not come to fruition, but it did. there is no way i can shake the despair of what it will be like for the women who have been sexually violated, simply cannot afford having a child, or even with the case of just not being ready to have one. there are medical practices that need abortions in order for women to live.
not only does this cut off access to safe abortions, but it opens up violations to our privacy as americans. roe v wade case indirectly is in comparison to interracial couples (plessy v ferguson, brown v board of ed) and lgbtq+ laws on the basis of our right to privacy. our 14th amendment is at stake.

it's autumn, and this time we're starting the season with the eclairs. this was the first season i played where i randomized the order of households to keep things fresh. and having played roughly one season and a half like this, i've come to really enjoy it and recommend doing it if you do rotational play

I actually have two questions about your monkie queen au, sorry!
1: I was wondering what would happen if Redson unintentionally broke the rules
For example, if Redson woke up from a nightmare screaming/crying (because trauma) or if he got hurt and reacted loudly because of it, what would happen?
Would he still be punished for being loud, or comforted for being hurt/scared? Maybe he'd be comforted first but punished later since he still broke the rules, and what would that punishment be?
I was curious about how it would be dealt with in comparison to the other rules being broke because in these scenarios Redson didn't intentionally/try to break any rules, it was just a natural reaction to something bad happening.
Idk, I just thought that certain punishments being different depending on the circumstances was interesting and got curious? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2: (which is a completely unrelated question to the first) assuming 'it' also effects MK's clones, does that mean they're somehow even more unhinged than in canon? Does MK summon them often to keep an eye on Redson while he's busy or away doing.. King stuff, ig??
How do they treat Redson; like do they actively try to make him do things (party, if the porty clone is watching him. Pose for portraits if the artist clone is watching him, etc?) Or do they just kinda make sure he stays in one area and hover around him to make sure he doesn't get hurt/try to leave?
1) It's been quite a while since Red was punished for a nightmare.
It used to happen all the time; when he would wake up screaming and crying, clawing for safety from the beast he shares a bed with. And in those moments, MK, yes, MK, would comfort him. He knew it was MK from the cautious, confused, but not frantic comforting, the quiet laughter as he asked Red, "What's happening, guy? Did you have a really bad nightmare? I used to get those. Come here, Red. C'mere."
But then, after all the tears kissed away and the quiet stories to make him laugh, MK would slip out of his hands again like the dying embers of his own magic. And the King was back. They're not different people, that's not what Red is saying, but MK is MKing unburdened by It. And It... It was never happy with Red's outbursts.
Outbursts in their bed would be punished by banishing him from it, locking Red in 'His Room'. Red hates His Room, that prison It kept him in.

2) MKing doesn't use his clones because It affects his clones. They get mean and vicious without anything to hold them back, or just poof into black dust on . Luckily, they've never been around Red.
(If, in some hellish world, Red was stuck with them, he would be forced to help them in their interests for certain. He'd honestly... enjoy it a bit more than he should've, he'd just like having something to do, would like having eyes on him that are consistent.)

The kiss was heated and messy.
Both sets of hands were quick and hasty to take off one another's clothes. There was no clear rhythm, the only objective being that you two needed to get each other's mouths and hands on each other. You could feel his bulge press up against you as his body pinned yours against the wall, leaving no room for you to breathe.
Your hands tangled in his hair and tears of suffocation pricked at your eyes in desperation. To your surprise (and comfort) Mello pulled away with a glare. That expression was no different from other times where you two would be closely intimate—this facial expression only meant passion.
"You're getting weak," Mello breathed out. A grin escaping onto his lips as he looked you over. His eyes looked you up and down in hunger.
You panted out a laugh, leg locking him closer to you as you could feel his hands start to wonder your body, and a small moan leaving your lips as you welcome his touches. "I have no one to practice with when you're gone-"
Mello's hands reached behind you and groped your bottom, his hot lips now attacking your neck with hurried pecks and bruised bites. Your hands hurriedly went for his belt and zipper ready to take him any moment now. Your boyfriend leaned back and admired your face once again, taking your lips in for another longing kiss. You raise your hand to hold his jaw as you two passionately made out, his hands quick to disappear into your bottom's and-

You jumped as the door slams open. Your already hot face could almost fall off from the burning embarrassment of getting caught in raw heat with your boyfriend. Mello paused as he realized you weren't as receptive like before and turning to look at what you're looking at.
"What the hell Matt?!" Mello threw his hand out to usher him out.
"Car's ready." Matt simply responds not phased by the blonde's attitude. The door closes behind the brunette with a melodramatic 'thud', an exploitative leaving Mello in disdain. That certainly ruined the mood but you couldn't help but find it funny.
You pursed your lips together as you tried not to laugh at your boyfriend's sour mood, your attempts to hold in your laugh futile as a giggle managed to escape anyways. His blue eyes narrows up at you, giving your skin a warning squeeze as you start to giggle.
"That's what we get for trying to do something in a time like this, huh?" You ask with no malice intent in your voice but surely heavy with a teasing tint to it.
"Yeah yeah," He rolls his eyes as only you could find the humor in this. He keeps himself from smiling though and steps away from you to allow you to turn and fix yourself. "Just get ready or I'm leaving you behind."
He didn't care much to fix himself as he didn't need much adjusting and he was ready. You felt his arms wrap around your body and press a kiss to your shoulder. Fuck, you missed his warmth so much. You were close to snuggling into his arms if it weren't for the fact that you two had to leave.
You yelped as you felt his slap against your ass after pulling away from you, a pout gracing your lips. You were met with a grin as he made his way to the door and leaving you by yourself in the room.
You knew he wouldn't leave behind, he never did.
