I like to think Saskia needed how-to-human lessons, which puts Iorveth and the other Scoia'tael in a really awkward position.

Dragons, dwarves, and elves all come together like something out of LotR and they don't have an idea between them. The half-elves (and half-dwarves?) know most about passing as human, but it's a titanic undertaking to teach someone who's never lived in a city, worn clothes, walked on two legs, or had hair all the nuances of being human enough to fool other humans.

The first time Saskia meets humans as a human, they just look at her like

because the first human she saw was a man working bare-chested in a field and she thought shirts were optional.

(Try explaining gender to a dragon, I dare you)

Meanwhile, Iorveth's commando is trying to revive him out of a mortified faint.

You know what I wanna know about Saskia's whole extra body thing, especially knowing that she can do different things at the same time in slightly different places, is how far can one be from the other. Could one of them get in a ship and head back to the Highest Light and leave the other on Midst without causing any problems. Is there a latency issue. What are the implications here for quantum entanglement.

lmao! I have made it in the Witcher fandom! I finally received a message from the Ciri/Roche shipper who's been harassing people (we all know the one), presumably because of the Iorveth/Roche art I've been reblogging recently.

Naturally I laughed, blocked them, and moved on with my evening.

But I have to admit that Iorveth/Roche is a very small ship in my very large armada, and it's looking a little lost, so naturally my horrible gremlin brain has suggested giving it some other Iorveth ships to keep it company.

Iorveth/Geralt? yup, read some really good fic.

Iorveth/Letho? the begrudging allies to enemies hate ship that just begs for more attention.

Iorveth/Saskia? I've seen surprisingly little of, but then again, I've never really looked, just stumbled over it in passing.

Iorveth/Ciaran? Yes! the potential for young lovers who are driven apart by differing world views but never stop loving each other.

Iorveth/Ves? new ship to me, started reading a fic the other day. Haven't finished it yet, but I can see the potential

Iorveth/Dandelion? fuck it, why not?! Dandy's a spy after all, he must get his information from somewhere
