Lmao scorpions are rad. Where I live we have lotsa those dudes, plus blond tarantulas, camel spiders, and tarantula hawk wasps (which have the second most painful insect sting in the world!!!!! But they’re very pretty so there’s that).

Anyway. The tarantulas are bros. Camel spiders are fucking terrifying.

we have tarantula hawk wasps and tarantulas too!!! i dont see them as often but i have seen them before. i think the hawk wasp is really pretty looking, its a shame that they’re deadly.

when i was 5 years old we also had a black widow in our house. my mom smacked it with a broom and her babies went everywhere like in that one vine. i don’t remember what happened after that

The door is off when it is locked. That's the switch to activate or deactivate it.

My office door doesn't have a lock on it though. It's just attached to the wall, which is (if I'm not mistaken) such the case with many, many doors on planet Earth. So I guess that makes a lockless door always in the On state, and wouldn't ya know, that's exactly what I said was the case in the very first response to this topic 0:^]

The Lightning-Struck Heart by TJ Klune

I read it in a total of 7 1/2 hours spread over a few days, so my total reading speed hasn't decreased, I just don't have 7 1/2 hour stints to read anymore...

Point being, it's really fun, it's a speed read, it's gay, and no gay people wind up dying. Oh, and the King's Wizard is known for exploding people's nipples. If you need a book to end 2022 on, try this!

unfortunately it is no longer 2022, but this book has been on my goodreads TBR since 2018!

Klune has been a hit or miss for me. i didn't like House in the Cerulean Sea much, so when Under the Whispering Door gave me the same vibes in the first few pages I gave up on it. but i did like The Extraordinaries, so I hope to continue that series eventually!

SapphireClaw requested a pokemon shaming for the funnies for their reward! It took me a while to think of one, but then realized Ingo owns a garbage pokemon and it all came together XD

Also added a small epilogue to ensure that everyone is fine and Guzma is not at all put off by the fact he nearly died of poison during a date.
