"HELP" Hobie Brown x reader.

"Arachne!" You turn at the sound of your alias. Your Alias. It roll out of his mouth in a thick sultry English accent, "I need your help."

"Can it...wait?" Your eyes drift to one of the many spider-women around, earth 834: Zarina Zahari. She looked at him with a raised brow and seemed unamused with the interruption.

"No. I need your help," he repeats cooly his large hand presses against your back and starts gently pushing, "...now."

"Oh- o-ok..." You stutter stumbling a bit as you try and wrap up. "I'll talk to you later, Zar! Hobie stop shoving!"

"stop stallin' then, dove." He huffs stopping his insistent pushing only to fiddle with his wrist. A portal opens and you turn to look at him in confusion. "Well? Are we goin'to stand here all day or are you walking through it?"

"where-?"

"go." He gives a gentle push.

"Jesus Christ you are so impatient today." You grumble in frustration going through the portal and falling on a firm bed in a familiar room. Like the occupant of the room it's calm and serene and the colors are slightly different than the last time you were over. It was ever changing. You sit with your legs crossed on the bed your arms across your chest as Hobie falls through much more elegantly next to you.

"dovey-" his voice rings with an air of amusement at you pouty insistence.

"dovey," you mock his thick accent and he takes a deep breath. "Don't dovey me I was having a conversation, Hobie. What is the matter with you?"

"I'm tired." He says simply wrapping his arms around you and pressing his face into the crook of your neck his nose brushes the skin there and he sighs. The little shit is content, "and I don't think I can sleep if you're not here. Shuddup and lay with me."

A Mini D&D Guide For Eddie Munson Fans! (Aka how to do the d&d thing)

So you found yourself writing a character who's playing D&D and you've never played a session in your entire life.

Here are the basics as told by a me! (A DM🤘)

[other players feel free to add stuff I may have left out in the comments PLEASE!]

First! A campaign is a complete story told together as a group. However, every time you play is not it's own campaign. If your story takes up multiple games to complete those individual games are called sessions!

I personally as a DM find it best when my characters have notebooks for longer campaigns to take notes.

Let's start with the positions! The hard part.

There are two main positions you can be you can be the dungeon master (DM for short) or you can be a player.

The dungeon master: is kind of like a guide! They're there to assist the players in telling a full story. The dungeon master is not the players enemy. If the players die the DM does not win. The two positions are friends in the endeavor. Dungeon master usually have multiple characters to play these are called NPCS aka not player characters (very similar to video games. Think the villagers from Minecraft) these are there to help your player characters along OR be there for you or enemy. Note: your villain is an NPC. But that still doesn't make your DM your enemy.

The second position is

Your Players: these is everyone else in the group! Your player will have classes and levels and races. PAUSE.

"But sailor if they're people of course they have races!" Yes they do have that but a race is considered your species [for example : elf, half elves, gnome, dwarf, Goliath, and half orc] each race has their own stats I won't get into those here because there were too many to cover but you can do research on your own a good resource if you're just beginning is the website D&D beyond!

Your class is another important part of your character that decides what you can do there are magic classes and non magical ones and it's good to have a wide variety in your group. [For example the hellfire club has: a Bard (Dustin) who are very persuasive and usually kind of fun and energetic music tends to play a big part of them as a character, a paladin (Mike) like a knight in shining armor they're kind of like you're really cool police friend, your ranger (Lucas) warriors of nature! And several more! Barbarian, cleric, mage, rogue, etc.

Now that you've done all of that reading! (Good job kiddo!) Here's the easy part dice. For the sake of simplicity we will be using 5e rule (5th edition) instead of the historically correct 1e rules because stranger things doesn't use those rules.

You have several dice in a set

D20 - helps you determine if you can perform a task that you would like! The bigger the number the higher your success the lower the number the more likely you fail. If you get it 20 you automatically succeed. If you get a one you automatically fail. In your stats you will get modifiers here's where you do a little math and add up when you roll.

Your other dice- can be used for damage! Usually a specific attack or spell that does damage will have you roll a certain die. (Usually, a D4, D6, or D10 or sometimes several for bigger attacks)

D2???- And of course to help you make decisions there is your two-sided die aka a COIN! Some die come with a cute coin piece that goes with the set but I personally have a trusty quarter.

Together as characters with the help of your DM and dice you will go on adventures and face encounters.

An encounter: are simply just fights and battles that you may face! To get out of them you must fight or use your magic abilities to take over an enemy. Or maybe even persuade them to your side.

So you've face every encounter your DM has thrown your way and faced off the big bad guy!

Congrat! you've come to the end of your campaign and feels like you've won. In a way you kind of have! But just because you 'win' doesn't mean that you're DM has lost you have won as a group in telling a story. You have successfully done... "the D&D thing!!!"

I'm all for Barbie and her trophy boyfriend Ken (obviously considering my most viral post) and everything, but people out here saying "the best relationship is a woman who can do anything and man who can't do shit", like y'all realize that's most sitcom couples, where the women is the hot babysitter to an average loser schlub, right? That's also the classic 'loser guy is the protagonist while the more competent female character is his babysitter and love interest" in action movies and other movies.

I agree this dynamic can be fun in the right flavor. The reason Barbie and Ken work in Life in the Dreamhouse is he's NOT a total loser who doesn't do anything for Barbie, he's a robotics whiz who built a house for Barbie, he was able to get a ton of jobs!... he just immediately dropped them to be with Barbie. He just loves his gf and is content with letting her be his priority at all times. I don't think Ken in the upcoming movie is going to have absolutely nothing going for him either or be a drain on Barbie's life (hopefully). He'll probably find something that allows him to be somewhat self-posessed.

So like, it can work, if the guy is always bragging about his gf, if she's not demoted to his babysitter, if she likes him because he's sweet or if he's actually good at nontraditionally "male' things like being a caretaker- but 'woman has to be on a pedestal, guy gets to be a loser' is just another way woman are pigeonholed in media. Girls don't often get to be the losers because they have to be great to be respected and 'loser girl' doesn't fit into the ideal straight male sexual fantasy. Hypercompetent guy with loser girlfriend is usually derogatory, in a way the opposite isn't, if there's a female character like that, she'll be arm candy everyone shits on and sexualizes and nothing else- it's very rare for the ditzy loser gf to have any focus much less be the protagonist- it shows up pretty rarely, and if it does, it's notably in works aimed at women like Sailor Moon.

Little! Envy Adams

Envy started regressing all the way in high school, not even knowing the term for it. She just knew she had some "embarrasing" moments she couldn't help. In college, she had too much going on to remember it. But once she signed that major record deal, things got pretty overwhelming and stressful! And she started to remember her old coping strategies.

Envy's regression always starts with her throwing a tantrum on how she won't regress. Nuh-uh, she doesn't do it, nuh-uh!! She's a big girl!!! She doesn't need this dummy baby stuff!! No!!!

It can happen with just some pouting and mumbling, but sometimes she cries, and bangs her fists, and kicks her legs. It takes her a little time to settle, but she eventually calms down and lets her little part take over.

Her usual regression age flows in-between 4 and 7.

Baby Nat starts clinging to whoever's the nearest to her at the moment, which is usually Todd. Who is, after getting a thorough explanation (and realising he does that too), is a pretty good babysitter! Carrying her around with his vegan super-strength, listening to her babble, and letting her brush his hair.

And even though she's clingy, it doesn't mean at all that she stops being just a tiny bit mean and bossy. She will YELL at people who interrupt her tea parties or misremember her plushies' names.

Only a tiny bit though. She's just a princess who demands respect and a looooot of attention! But once you get to spend some time with her, she's a total sweetheart.

She's a princess regressor, she likes playing dress up, getting her hair done, glitter, fashion dolls, all that.

She also has a toy piano!! She has a lot of toys in general, since she's reach and famous and can afford getting everything she wants. Like a Barbie Dreamhouse.

One of her favorite activities is to watch princess movies and Sailor Moon, sing along and twirl like the characters on screen.

☆ I have two singles (Really Bad Boy released in 2016 and DDU-DU DDU-DU released in 2017). I also have a few songs I did for ads specifically (Peek-a-boo for a Halloween themed pizza commercial, Speed Drive for a Barbie ad and ICONIC for a Nike ad)

☆ I also did the soundtrack for a Nintendo game I scripted in (Odyssey), released in 2021.

☆ I'm considered the best performer of my generation.

☆ I had a mega tour from 2015-2017, bigger than the Eras tour. It was a cultural phenomenom, and the demand lead to the tour being extended.

☆ I also scripted that I know everyone's secrets cause I don't want anyone playing with me I will END your career.

I had a dream last night where Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon) lived in this pink colored mansion like a Barbie dreamhouse and was giving a crib-esque tour of her place. She showed off this one large bathroom with a huge Jacuzzi tub with water going in it and decorated with flower petals. Next, she showed off her bedroom, and her bed rose high from the ground, had four wooden posts and had a little canopy overhead. Very much a princess bed. And she had pillows that were super ultra fluffy and soft but also fuzzy like you would see in some preteen girl's room (like my room when i was a preteen lol). And everything was colored in soft pastel colors, like pinks and purples, and the whole place smelled really nice. It was almost like everything glittered and made you feel ok.

barbie-ish au where steve (ken-like doll) follows nancy (the main doll who's unsettled with life) to the real world, which he doesn't understand at all, but it doesn't matter because he's quickly distracted by henry. nancy's trying to find true meaning and who she is meanwhile steve is batting his eyelashes and asking henry if he wants to see his dreamhouse or if he comes with sailor suit too (he'd very much like to see it!)
