The Middengard Wyrm😖. Nesta dealt with it brilliantly but it just makes you appreciate how impossible it was that human Feyre managed to kill this thing by herself with no decent weapons.

Does ElsaMaren have a real chance of being canon considering how Disney treated ValCarol and is treating WolfWren?
VALCAROL
In the first Captain Marvel film, the fandom created a strong shipp between Carol and Maria Rambeau. A certain headcanon that has emerged is that Carol is the stepmother of Monica, Maria's daughter, and in fact the three seemed to live as a family with Monica having two mothers.
The first time Valkyrie and Carol met on screen was in "Endgame", and even with just quick glances the fans shipped, we are like that for sapphic shipps. But the most interesting thing was that Brie Larson (Carol) and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) really embraced the shipp, although Brie didn't abandon her shipp with War Machine (Carol's canon romantic couple in the comics), but it was always interactions about the ValCarol shipp on Brie's part were much louder.
I consider that Valkyrie was a replacement for Maria, Maria was the main shipp, but as she died Valkyrie seemed to be a good candidate for a replacement since the headcanon of Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel being a lesbian was always very big and Valkyrie is canonically bisexual. And if you want to compare it to Frozen: the Queen of Summer Marisol with whom Elsa seemed to really have a connection would be Maria, but as she couldn't go to a film Honeymaren was the replacement even with much fewer scenes as Valkyrie.
And what was ValCarol's conclusion? "Captain Marvel 2/The Marvels". Valkyrie was indeed included in the film, gave Carol a kiss on the cheek with a certain flirtatious air and left. But it seems that it wasn't just that, and that Disney actually asked to cut a conversation between them that would reveal that Carol and Valkyrie actually had a romantic relationship in the past, but that it ended and they decided to just be friends.
WOLFWREN
Shin Hati, the original villain of the "Ahsoka" series and Sabine Wren, one of the heroines and a character with almost 10 years of existence. In the series they are rivals and face each other a few times, with Shin almost killing Sabine herself in the first fight by piercing her belly with the Light Saber. But although this beginning Shin never really seemed to hate Sabine, she fought much more on impulse than anyone else. Shin even questions orders regarding Sabine's elimination when a promise was broken. At the end of the first season, after once again failing to kill Sabine, Shin realizes that she has lost everything, was abandoned by her master and is isolated... in the same place that Sabine is. I summarized a lot.
A standard “enemies to lovers” shipp, but a sapphic “enemies to lovers” shipp, which is already better than the traditional ones. And it gained a lot of prominence in the fandom and especially among the actresses who play Shin (Ivanna Sakhno) and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), and also among the other actors in the series. But in addition to the cast, the “Star Wars” pages began to promote the shipp by making official editions with the actors, reinforcing this magnetic connection between Shin and Sabine.
What will be the future of WolfWren? We need to wait for the second season of "Ahsoka", it may just be queerbait after all, although "Andor", another "Star Wars" series, has an official lesbian couple: Vel and Cnta, but who so far have not kissed and you have to pay close attention to the dialogues and interactions to realize that they are a couple.
ELSAMAREN
What could all this mean for ElsaMaren? That Disney is at least willing to give crumbs to fans of the sapphic shipps, especially when the actresses are very supportive. Rachel Matthews (Honeymaren) is an avowed ElsaMaren shipper and likes to tease the shipp's fans sometimes, Idina Menzel is more neutral on the subject, but Idina is very supportive of LGBT causes and is proud of how Elsa, Elphaba and Maureen were embraced by the LGBT community, even officially just Maureen being part of it. If ElsaMaren is confirmed you can be sure that Idina will speak with great excitement about the couple.
But Disney? Even when she tried to hug ValCarol she was cowardly at the last moment and if we think about Bob Iger's last statements things become even less hopeful. And even if my theory that in fact Honeymaren was created to be Elsa's love interest but this arc was reduced to just concept art and two scenes is real, that unfortunately doesn't mean it can be returned. But I still bet on interpretative crumbs.

Shadybug/ClawNoir supporting character Headcanons
Jagged Stone? More like Jared Smith. He wanted to be a rockin musician, but his type of music is banned by the Supreme so his career never took off. Instead, he ended up marrying his girlfriend, Nannette Couffaine, after accidentally knocking her up with twins, released his pet crocodile into the Seine, got an apartment, and works a regular job that he HATES. But, he secretly still tries to record music and sells it on the black market where it has become somewhat popular in the indie underground, but if he were caught he would go to prison for sure. It’s not a happy marriage but he does what he has to. His kids last names are hyphenated Couffaine-Smith.
No houseboat, and without Royalties from music labels, neither Juleka or Luka could afford to go to Francois Dupont
Penny works as an assistant for Bob Roth and HATES IT. The man is a sexist slave driver, but this business is brutal.
Nadja Chamack is not a news anchor. You can’t be a single mother AND have a career that takes up so much of your time. As a result, Marinette has never had to babysit Manon.
Lila wants to challenge Chloe’s position as queen of the school, but there are no lies about charity work, only lies of what powerful and famous connections she has.
Adrien is not interested in being friendly with Lila, and definitely not going to help her with schoolwork. But he is still the ultimate trophy and key to winning popularity in Lila’s eyes, so she is determined to “win him over”, even though he finds her almost as annoying as Chloe, but Chloe he is stuck with due to her mom’s working relationship with his dad.
Gabriel doesn’t trust Lila one bit.
The sad and negative emotions he is forced to sense due to the power of the Butterfly brooch cause him distress, and he often has to excuse himself due to “headaches” from overworking, as a creative’s work is never done… But he is always listening for the emotions of people crying out for justice, for help, for people who wish they had the power to help.
Andre Glacier is still the Sweetheart’s ice-cream maker, but Sweetheart’s ice-cream is just a special menu item that you can request. Otherwise he has a scheduled route and serves the ice-cream that customers ask for.
Alya’s dad wishes the zoo could focus more on animal enrichment and larger enclosures but they don’t have the budget for such “unnecessary extravagences”.
Mr. Haprel hopes to make it as a famous Mime one day so he can be rich enough to afford to send his daughter, Mylene, to the school he works at as a janitor.
Everyone avoids Ivan.
Thomas Astruc never made it as a famous director, rather, the Supreme favored his University Rival, Andre Bourgeois, who also owns the Le Grande Paris Hotel.
Gina and Roland Dupain are not divorced/separated per say… Gina was sent to prison for civil disobedience. That’s why Tom is a doormat and just goes along with whatever discipline Sabine decides on because he doesn’t want his precious little girl to end up a criminal like her grandmother.
Sabine does not teach an inkpainting class on the weekend or practice tai chi or feng shui.
The walls of Marinette’s home are not pink, they are a boring beige that she hates.
The Agreste Manor is not a sterile, black and white modern decor dungeon. It is a prism of color, function, form, beauty and nature with nods to antiquity and the whimsical. Adrien HATES it. All color and light left this world when his mother died. The art in his house mocks his pain.
There is no school blog for Nathaniel to post his art on… But Marc ended up in that class instead of Marinette. (So did Mireille) He’s still too shy to admit he’s a writer. And even more shy to admit he has a crush on Nathaniel, so all he can do is watch the boy quietly. Rose thinks it’s a romantic tragedy and wants to play matchmaker. Alex thinks it’d be a disaster waiting to happen.
There is no Prince Ali who gives toys to sick kids in hospitals.
There is nothing as frivolous as videogame tournaments, so Max devotes all his spare time to his hobby of robotics and developing an AI… but developing an artificial intelligence is frowned upon. Luckily, Alya can keep a secret… that is, if Max is willing to spare some of his time to helping her havkninto the dark web to research conspiracy theories.
Wayhem is obseesed with Adrien, who can’t stand crazy fanatics and won’t lose any sleep if the Gorilla tackles the scrawny boy to the ground.
After much convincing, bullsh**ing, and bribes, Gabriel is able to host his derby hat design competition at Francois Dupont, (and hopefully, modelling his classmate’s creations will be a bonding point for Adrien to make a new friend) Rose sees it as an opportunity to tries to get Marc and Nathaniel to work with her to create a hat, hoping sparks will fly between them.
Even if Marinette WANTED to enter a stupid contest involving that spoiled, stuck-up Agreste boy, which she DOESN’T, her mother won’t allow it because sewing and doodling outfits is a distraction from her schoolwork.
Chloe still cheats.
But Shadybug discreetly sabotages the fashion show the winning hat is supposed to feature in.
Nathalie never became Gabriel’s assistant or even acquaintance. Instead, she is in charge of the department of the Louvre that archives and locks away all “banned” art and artifacts (aka anything related to Miraculous holders)
Alex thinks she’s creepy and hates how she coldly bosses around her dad.
Audrey is the same as ever, with the exception that she recognizes that her younger daughter Zoe has some talent, and wants Andre to find a movie part for her to play, and ignores Chloe’s bitter jealousy which causes her to lash out at others even nastier than in Ladybug and Cat Noir’s universe.
Nino is treated rudely and ignored by Adrien. Adrien would never agree to play a role in Nino’s movie and even accuses Nino of trying to use Adrien’s celebrity status to give himself an unfair advantage in the student movie competition.
Adrien doesn’t have time for stupid group projects or after school activities. But not because he has a full schedule since this Universe’s Gabriel is a decent father who does not demand perfection and give a 14 year old a burdensome schedule… It’s because outside of fencing and modeling, Adrien plans to spend his time planning out which sections of the city he’s going to take his anger out on that night.
Gabriel never forgot his roots as the son of a fry-cook, and occasionally tries to cook comfort food (NOT PANCAKES) for Adrien, who insists he’s not hungry or that junk is bad for his skin/weight, which has Gavriel worried about Adrien developing body dysphoria and eating disorders… These worries are put to rest when he finds out Adrien has suddenly developed a sweet tooth for baked goods. Therefore he has no qualms about his son frequenting the local bakery so often because a growing boy needs to eat and a treat is good for the spirit.
He wishes he could be more honest with Adrien, but he knows that it would destroy his son if he ever found out that the sickness that took his mother’s life was caused by his creation… He’s also not sure what kind of trauma Adrien would have to the fact he’s not human.
Gabriel also doesn’t want Adrien in danger. Gabriel wants to create a better world for his son to live in, a world where he and everyone else can be free! Where people can throve without stepping over others, and the poor don’t have to suffer. Where people have rights to love freely and express opinions without fear. A world where people help one another.
Gabriel would never use the rings to control Adrien, instead, he keeps them locked away in a safe, and plans to give them to Adrien someday when he is an adult and less likrly to misplace them because if they were to fall into the wrong hands, Gabriel shudders to think of what would become of Adrien.
Audrey still has a low key crush on Gabriel which makes him cringe but he still acts polite to keep up working relations, and he also pities his friend Andre, trapped in a one-sided marriage and bullied by his daughter and his wife.

Ok I love Nimona but my main hyper fixation is Starwars and will always be Starwars. Given that here’s what I think Nimona characters would be in Starwars
Nimona - a Mandalorian  who has a lot of knowledge in cloaking technology, (she’s basically Sabine wren from rebles)
Ballister - a disgraced Jedi knight who is questioning all he knew about the Jedi order
Ambrosius - a Jedi master who is also questioning the order bit still believes in it
The Director - a senator to Ambrosius’s home planet
The queen - the chancellor of the republic
Todd - a not very smart bounty hunter, trying to track down Ballister 
That’s basic character stuff uhh
Ballisters lightsaber, and he has a purple blade
And Ambrosius’s lightsaber and he has a blue blade

Sorry for all the asks >< Was musing on a part of the Scarlet Sabine & Duches Chloe fic I'd likely never get to, but:
Chloe learns Sabine's identity likely sometimes in 'season 1'. Likely after Sabine's both confident enough as a hero that she feels she can casually ignore the mysterious benefactor of Miraculous. As well as once Duchess has said/done enough concerning (Red flags!) things that she feels it would be even more irresponsible than she's already being by not taking her Miraculous.
"I'd rather die than fail" - "Daddy won't notice I'm gone, he rarely has a use for me, not like out here, not like you" - (Melting into an actual hug rather than one done for cameras or given to a teddy bear mid panic attack) ETC
Meanwhile Sabine likely only learns the truth around Style Queen. (I don't feel obliged to recreate all episodes in my ideas so Antibug just doesn't happen XD) & largely by accident cos once Chloe did learn the truth she was extra leery of revealing the truth. Not only might she lose Plagg but 'mum' her mentor, will hate her!
It did lead her to being very twitchty around Marinette and likely engaging in some odd behaviours. But nothing that screams "I am super hero" so much as "Chloe's always been weird & is probably just having an identity crisis, oh hey Duchess!"
I do this mostly cos, I think even if she really like Duchess by S1, she'd still be a bit... Tense with the revelation. So in that sense it happening beforehand but not by much could be neat. But the reveal also being tied to:
Chloe talked her mom out of attacking the audience members who 'stole' her sea (Marinette's & family) followed by being kidnapped, Duchess's absence due to her being killed by said mom when Gabriel wasn't at the manor & Ladybug arrived. Then yelled at for not being useful enough. IE, she puts it together/already knows, but also gets a first hand look at, "Oh its not just neglect & terrible morals being taught to her, its also outright malicious cruelty!"
& responds appropriately.
Once again: the adults are not holding back during this fight

Queen Marinette: A Royal Engagement

Summary: Princess Marinette had always known she would marry for duty, but she had never even heard of King Adrien until her betrothal (she would know, because she had looked up all the crown Princes within a hundred mile radius).
Nevertheless, her parents were delighted at the offer of marriage and her uncle was given the privilege of escorting her to England for her wedding and the whole thing felt wrong.

“Who is this King of England? Why have we never heard of him before?” She demanded, her uncle surprised at her sudden interest.
“He is heir to the throne, he needs a queen, and he has chosen you.”
This she already knew, it was not a very good answer. ��But why?” she pressed. “There are hundreds of nobles out there, with far grander titles and claims than our own. Why me?”
Her uncle looked surprised, he opened his mouth to speak but closed it again pensively.
The word Why was always one of the first, and favourite, questions asked by a child, and for good reason. Because Why are always the hardest questions to answer.
But why not?
Marinette was young, of child-bearing age, accomplished, and a beauty by all accounts. She had good graces and was well educated. She would make any country a worthy Queen.
Marinette was also very well aware of her precarious situation, her own mother was sent to a foreign country and married, a common enough arrangement. It was an auspicious match, a marriage between a Chinese Princess and a French nobleman in an effort to ease Sino-Franco relations.
“No, surely there must be other more diplomatic ways?” His sister and her own mother, Sabine, said when her own betrothal was announced.
Her mother protested as much as she did. All that consternation for nothing, for when the pair first set sight on each other they fell in love immediately. It has happened before, and it will all happen again.
Her mother of all people would know.
As Marinette’s ambassador, he was honoured to go with her to secure a friendship with the British, offering stability and prosperity. There was silk and tea to be traded, as well as porcelain. In return, they would resolve animosity held over past incidents. The East India Trading Company had a vested interest in the marriage and there was still disgruntled talk over the Flint Affair, such that war was imminent between the Chinese and British Empires.
Wang Cheng looked at Marinette with sympathy. He was very fond of his niece, and in his opinion she deserved the world. On paper everything looked like a suitable match, she was 18 and he was only 21. He spoke Mandarin, French and Latin, in addition to his mother tongue; and she knew a passable amount of English and Mandarin; as well as French, her native tongue.
She would like him. He was convinced.
However, the older gentleman himself did not know the King either. By all accounts he thought that the late King and Queen Dowager of England were barren, but then again he never paid attention to bedroom gossip.
“Why have I never heard of this king before?” The young woman insisted, her blue eyes flashing. She had the same kind of fire in her as his sister, masked by a gentle nature that lashed out when provoked like a tiger.

HOFAS Thoughts and Review!
This is also my review on Goodreads. Naturally, this is full of spoilers so proceed with caution!
4 star read!
This was a wild ride from start to finish. I found that you jumped right into the action and it literally didn't stop. The crossover with ACOTAR was very info-dump but I didn't mind since a) I don't remember anything lol and b) we needed to make the connection. I really loved seeing Nesta and Azriel in this different element. Given the timeline between ACOSF and HOFAS being about 3 months, I loved that Azriel and Nesta now know how to fight together and Nesta is so in touch with her powers. I love seeing how their friendship has bloomed.
Bryce is a menace and will forever be one. She's one of Sarah's MCs I relate to the least and therefore needed to warm up to her more. I found that in this book, I could despite a lot of her arrogant moments that will rub people the wrong way. I love Quinlar's love but didn't appreciate that she minimized Hunt's reaction to basically reliving much of his trauma with the first war. I'm glad she apologized and got to the point of understanding him but it left a little meh of a taste. The ending scene where he goes after her had my heart in pieces!! Through love, all is indeed possible and I love they were always with each other through it all.
Bryce basically being the High Lady of Dusk and controlling the land was amazing! I loved seeing those scenes. Saitha being the one to kneel first, declaring her as queen? Loved that. The two fae kings dying an awful death? Fabulously done! Hunt mf Althar removing his own slave halo and then removing Isaiah's while calling out that governor lady on her shit??? ADORE! Jesiba's everything in this book? I salute you, queen! Sabine's death??? The Under-King's death??? Literally had me gasping so much.
Ruhn my love, you will always be the Crown Prince of the Fae and that soundbite will always be on repeat every time I see your name lol.
Ruhn x Lidia's romance fell very flat to me. I love Ruhn and hated everything he had to go through but Lidia's character felt out of left field for me. I expected better/different? We find out out of NOWHERE that she's a mom of twins and suddenly, that's her whole personality. She went from this badass agent to everything being about her kids. There is NOTHING WRONG with her being a mother but why couldn't she be a mother AND care about the cause because it's the right thing to do? This was a missed opportunity in my opinion. I also felt like this was very self-insert of Sarah being a mom to have to include another character having kids. The constant talk about all these traumatized idiots having babies is getting on my last fucken nerves tbh. They have a million years to live so can we, I don't know, let them LIVE for five seconds without the absolute need to "start a family"? Let them go to therapy damn it. Sarah constantly writes about how awful it is that fae are obsessed with breeding and whatnot, yet every single of one her characters talks about babies...pls sarah, I beg. Give me ONE otp that doesn't have children. I know she's a HEA author which is what I love about her and her romances but it doesn't always have to end with kids and I just wish we'd see that more. Ruhn and Lidia did not strike me as characters who would be parents at all but now, Ruhn is a stepdad to the Hind's secret twins? It's very weird to me but I hope maybe down the line, we get to see Lidia realize that she is a whole person outside of being a mom. Aside from all that, the rescue scene was amazing. I loved seeing her destroy that asshole she had to endure and I just want to say, Aelin would be cheering mad hard at her for it! It felt like Lidia's fire abilities, the stag relation, and her son's name were all a nod to TOG and I loved that.
As for all the other characters, I really enjoyed seeing Ithan come into his own even though my guy was making mad stupid decisions along the way. His moment with Connor will always have my heart! l also loved the little bits of Ithan and Perry so much! Tharion my love, you will always be famous for making the most desperately dumb decisions before passing that one brain cell you have to Ithan but you know what? Sathia is going to be great for him and I ship it with my whole chest. Ari was wasted in this book and her ungrateful attitude annoyed me. Sigrid's whole plotline was pointless. Declan and Flynn are the best buds and I love them so much. Baxian, you are a gem! Pax being the one responsible for the actual HOFAS while being a healer who is making those antidotes was a great twist and I love it for her. The little fire spirits were so cute and their little moment with the viper queen made me cackle. The Viper Queen can suck it but I am also so very curious about what will happen now considering how that scene ends with Tharion/Ari/Sathia/Colin. I have a feeling all these characters will be showing up again in the future and I'd be excited to read how that will go. I have a feeling it might be done ACOSF style - in that, it'll be standalone in the CC world.
Bonus Chapters:
Bryce, Azriel, Nesta - hilarious and also so cute how Nesta was fascinated by the music playing from Bryce's phone. Azriel doesn't have a mate or partner so let that be clear LOL. Also Nesta already thinking about babies makes me wanna die tbh.
RuhnLidia - It was cute that she proposed and Ruhn is such a little dork crying left and right hahaha.
Quinlar - Hilarious how the big strong thunder boy was scared of those little dolls HAHA.
Ember/Randall - This made me want the Archeron sisters to have a mother figure so badly! The moment with Nesta and Ember hugging was so sweet in the book. I know people are mad at Rhys for yelling at Nesta but y'all...the whole world was at stake and that was a scary decision to make on Nesta's part given how the Pyrthian is STILL traumatized by the Asterie. I don't love how much he yelled but I get it.
Despite having parts I didn't like, I did overall really have fun with this. I think Sarah always does a great job with the action scenes in the end and giving us that found family connection. I could do without having the whole girl boss/girl power white feminist nonsense constantly shoved in our faces but alas! As I said, I still really enjoyed it! It had a lot of moments that pulled on all my emotions as every SJM book does. I will always enjoy what she puts out because I take it all at face value and read it to have fun. Sarah always knows how to enjoy her writing and you can tell while reading and for me, that's more than enough. The lore/plot is secondary to the characters for me and that is always how she sucks me in. She writes compelling characters who have amazing adventures and friendships that you feel through the pages and I will always enjoy that. Can't wait for more books! Here's to hoping we hear something about ACOTAR soon especially now that Bryce gave both swords back to Nesta! Can't wait to see how it plays out!

What if the DC villain kids weren't the kids of the villains, and just had their origin stories? Or, somewhat similar origin stories. Like, Adrien and Marinette got exposed to chemicals when they were kids, and their brains got messed up
Marinette- Jestress
When the bakery was being fumigated, Marinette, at only five years old, was accidentally exposed to the dangerous chemicals
When she inhaled the fumes, they messed with her brain and induced a psychotic disposition
She would laugh at and take delight in even the most grimmest of things, and it worried Tom and Sabine greatly. Her parents took her to many specialists, but there was nothing anyone could do
Adrien- Adri-Quin
No one knew that the high brand fabric dye had some… Interesting results when inhaled
Gabriel and Emilie didn’t think too much of it when Adrien became exposed to the dyes, and shared a laugh when one side of his hair was colored pink and the other side blue, however, their sweet son slowly began to exhibit some alarming traits
He would point and laugh at anyone in pain and had this permanent smile on his face
Alya- Enigma
Alya Césaire always had a fascination with puzzles and riddles. She hyperfixated on each one she started, and refused to move on to a new one until she finished the one she was currently on
It got to a point where she had grown bored with solving puzzles, and would come up with her own more complex ones and challenge others to solve them
Those who would rebuff her requests soon faces the consequences, and she would force them to solve her puzzles through means of threats and blackmail, earning her quite the reputation at her old school
Nino- Mudslide
Nino had started out as a science experiment by his mothers, Anais and LaBrea
They sought to create life and hopefully create a child of their own by using sculpting clay along with a few other materials. It worked, and Nino became the sweet boy they’ve wanted for so long…
…Until a few years later, when he became destructive, vindictive, and used his shapeshifting abilities to steal and con people out of their money
They still didn’t know what went wrong
Chloé- Diamond Demom
Chloé always wanted to impress her mother, the ruthless Style Queen, Audrey Bourgeois. However, as Audrey rudely put it, Chloé was “unexceptional.” Fueled by a burning desire to finally make her mother proud, Chloé sought some sort of way to gain the same influential power as her mother, but she found something different and much better
Landing on her balcony one night was a small meteor, and when it cracked open, revealed a beautiful blue gem. When she touched it, Chloé became infused with some sort of power, the power of earth manipulation.
However, this new power corrupted her, and one afternoon during her mother’s fashion show, she destroyed the models’ outfits by telekinetically ripping the gems off of their outfits with her powers, tearing them to shreds
Sabrina- Duality
Sabrina started off as a sweet girl, until a horrible accident occurred one day at her old school
During science class, a careless student poured in the wrong chemical, and the solution exploded, with some of it getting on Sabrina and permanently damaging the right side of her face
After being healed and left with a massive scar on that half of her face, Sabrina was subjected to relentless bullying from the other students, causing her descent into madness
Obsessed with revenge, but still maintaining some of her kindness, she flipped a coin. Heads, she gets revenge on the other students, tails, she leaves them alone. The coin landed on heads
Kim- Croc King
Kim was born with a rare condition that gave him reptilian traits with his birth. His fathers, Teo and Élliot couldn’t care less about his appearance, and loved him dearly. It was others who had a problem with him
Growing up, people always looked at Kim as if he were a freak, and school was no better
One day, Kim was walking to his locker when he was jumped by several older students and had a muzzle forced on him
He ran home in tears, and that experience shaped his views on society forever, believing if people treat him like a monster, then that’s what they’ll get. That’s how he became Croc King
Max- Max (Because he’s too prideful to choose a villain name)
Max strived to always be the best, to always be number one when it came to academics. He was top of his class at his old school, won every science fair, and received many cash offers for his inventions
However, it wasn’t enough. Max wanted everyone everywhere to know he was the best, and what better way to do that than by taking over the world?
During one robotics fair at school, he seized control of everyone’s robots and launched an attack until the police soon arrived to put an end to it all
He was promptly arrested and placed in juvenile detention, but only for a few weeks before being transferred to Françoise DuPont’s and being put in the Villain Class, a quick fix thanks to his genius intellect and a careless security guard
Ivan- Venom Bringer
Born inside a dreadful prison in Russia, Ivan was sentenced from birth to serve time for his dead father’s protests against their totalitarian government
Ivan trained both his body and mind inside the prison walls and soon rose to the top of the prison food chain
The prison authorities, seeing this with their own eyes, forced him to become a test-subject for a new drug known as Venom. While it did increase Ivan’s strength ten-fold, it also made him incredibly violent
As such, he attacked every single guard, stole the rest of the Venom, freed his fellow inmates, and escaped all the way to Paris
Myléne- Nightmare Weaver
Myléne was always a shy girl, and the students at her old school would mess with her relentlessly for that. They’d purposefully scare her, ranging from fake insects in her locker to wearing the goriest of costumes and jumping out and scaring her on her way home
One guy even snuck into her room at night and chased her all around the house until she fell down her stairs. Myléne physically recovered, but not mentally
One afternoon, doing research in her school’s library, she discovered a recipe for a fast-acting fear toxin, which would make people hallucinate their greatest fear
Myléne spent a weeks perfecting the toxin, often testing it on her neighbors until she was sure it was perfected. And it worked like a charm as every student and teacher at her old school suffered from the effects. All except for her
Nathaniel- Colossus
Nathaniel, while being smart and an incredible artist, was always bullied relentlessly due to his shyness, height, and lack of muscle and any sort of strength by the students at his old school
He sought to end that once and for all. Staying in the school lab after hours for a couple of nights, he created a serum that increased his strength ten fold, and promptly injected himself with it
The next day at school, Nathaniel was confronted by his main tormentors, and surprised and scared everyone by fending off against them with almost inhuman strength
It didn’t stop there, and Nathaniel suddenly grew to twenty feet, towering over the panicking students and attacking each one who had played a part in bullying him until he was neutralized by the police with about a dozen tranquilizer darts
Alix- Caracal
When she was ten, her father, Alim Kubdel, took her and her brother, Jalil, on an expedition with him deep into the wilds of Africa to study an ancient artifact
You know, like family bonding
Things were going fine until one night, Alix was kidnapped and forced to participate in an ancient ritual that cursed and and transformed her into a human-cheetah hybrid with an insatiable appetite for meat
Alim and Jalil, unbothered by her new appearance, assured her that they would find a cure. However, one night, when they returned home, she took a bite out of her brother’s shoulder
Rose- Thorn
Rose always had a love for botany and perfumes. She always loved to make her own fragrances using plants from her garden
One morning, she found a strange herb growing among the foliage. It had a nice fragrance to it, so she dug it up, potted it, and made plans to study it so she could make a perfume out of it
But then one night, there was an accident in her bedroom/perfume lab, causing an explosion
The herb she had found spread fumes around her room as a result of the explosion, and when she inhaled those fumes, her anatomy changed, making her immune to all toxins and giving her control over all plant life
Juleka- Feline Shadow
Juleka spent most of her days in the shadows, going unnoticed by anyone at her old school and sometimes even at home
So, she used that to her advantage. Whenever walking through the halls, she’d pick everyone’s pockets, working her way up from cash to jewelry with a sleight of hand
She wasn’t stopping there, though, and she took part in a string of robberies all over the city while donning all black and slipping into homes and jewelry stores undetected… Until she was eventually caught and thrown into juvenile hall before being sent to Françoise DuPont and put in the Villains Class
Lila- Cerebral Queen
Lila was once a normal girl from Italy who enjoyed playing mind games on her fellow classmates at her old school all through clever lies, creating discord amongst the student body
However, one day, her lies caught up to her, and caused the students at her school to chase her down and exact their revenge
When she was cornered by the students, she suddenly awakened vast psychic powers that allowed her to control minds, project illusions, and use telepathy
She left her fellow students seeing all sorts of terrifying illusions, and went on to create more chaos until she was eventually captured and sent to Françoise DuPont

Amaranthine - Prologue
Next
“Marinette! Bedtime!” Sabine called. She stepped up into Marinette’s room and stopped at the door. She smiled seeing Marinette playing amongst her dolls. She quietly stepped forward as she listened to Marinette play.
“‘You’ll never take the princess from me, brave knight. I have her under a terrible curse and her kingdom is mine. Bwa ha ha ha!’ ‘Foul witch, I will not rest until I found my true love again. For there is none other in this world I shall love than her. And our love will conquer your evil!’”
Sabine knelt as Marinette had the knight and witch fight with the knight coming out victorious.
“‘Take that, evil witch! You have been slain and I shall be reunited with my one true love!’”
Sabrine grinned and scooped up Marinette. Marinette gasped and screamed as she flailed wildly.
“Unhand me, foul beast. What knave attacks when their back is turned?”
“It is I, the witch’s dragon. And I’m here to avenge my fallen lady,” Sabrine said in a low voice.
“Then you shall fall too, beast, and I shall finally be with my one true love!”
Sabine let Marinette down and chased her around the bedroom. Sabine grabbed Marinette and tickled her, bringing her down immediately. Sabine continued to tickle Marinette before she scooped her up and held her close.
“And the mighty knight has fallen. You shall never see your love again. All hail the Dark Queen!”
“No! My love, remember me!”
Sabine and Marinette laughed. Sabine placed Marinette down, who ran back to her dolls.
“Alright, brave warrior, bedtime,” Sabine said.
Marinette whined. “Do I have to? I haven’t saved the princess.”
“The princess will have to wait another night for her knight to rescue her.”
“But we can’t keep them away from each other. They are meant to be! Plus, Rose said you don’t keep soulmates away from each other.”
“Did she now?”
“Yup! She showed me more of her books during our last playdate. All the stories always ended happily with true love conquering all.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yup! She even told me why. Do you know why, Momma?”
“No. Why?”
“Because they are always soulmates. They know from the very moment they lock eyes that they are meant to be, so their love can conquer anything. So, love always wins.”
“Really? Well, that’s not what I’ve heard about soulmates.”
Marinette’s eyes widened. “What have you heard, Momma?”
“I’ll tell you, but only once you get ready for bed.”
“Do I have to?”
“If we want to hear a story, yes.”
Marinette gasped and hurried to get ready for bed. She crawled into bed under the covers and waited. Sabine smiled and sat on the bed.
“Ready?”
Marinette nodded.
“When I had moved to the country, I heard a story from some modern day witches. They spoke of when our souls move on, they don’t die like our bodies. They return to the ether where they wait to be born again. Once their time has come to rejoin the world of the living, they must drink from the waters of oblivion and forget all about their past lives except one thing. Do you know what that one thing is?”
“Their soulmate?”
Sabine nodded. “They forget who they were and what life they lead, but they retain a memory of their soulmate. The one who had been by their side through all their lives that long agreed to stay together forever, until eternity.”
“All their lives?”
“That’s right. The witches told me that from the moment our soul lived its first life, it had met all manner of people, but there would be those that we’d have given our souls for. That we, in that life, would have pledged to always be with them until the end of time. It is that promise that binds souls and makes them soulmates.”
“Woah! How do you know if you have a soulmate?”
“They say that when you are young, you will dream of your past lives. In these visions, you are allowed a glimpse of your soulmate.”
“But how do you know that you’ll meet them? What if you never do?”
“They told me that you’d know in a heartbeat, like the roll of thunder and a flash of lightning. That in that moment, you know you would give your very life for that person, or even persons.”
“You can have more than one lover?”
Sabine chuckled. “Well, yes, but a soulmate is so much more than a romantic partner, Mar-Mar. Your soulmate is your greatest friend and ally. You may find love with them, but not always. What will never change is the loyalty you share for the other. And when they leave, everything in life feels hollow and empty without them.”
“Woah. Do you like I have a soulmate?”
“You just might. However, you won’t know unless you go to sleep. Maybe you’ll have the dream tonight of them.”
Marinette gasped. She bounced and settled into bed.
Sabine sighed, tucked in Marinette, turned out the light, and left.
Marinette tossed and turned for a while before she fell asleep. She waited for a dream to come. Days passed by that turned into weeks, then months. A year had passed before she had an unusual dream.
Marinette remembered the end of the dream. She was led through streets in chains. She looked between the men that held her multiple chains. Her eyes lingered on the one in the lead. His face was empty, but she could feel regret and sorrow from him. More faceless people appeared as she was chained to a wooden stake, but her eyes never left the man. She watched him ready to set the pyre when she was asked to give her last words. She felt a smile as she looked at him.
“See you soon.”
Fire erupted from around Marinette that startled everyone. She looked up as the blaze took her and everything went black.

Some observations, in no particular order:
Novels set mostly in James reign often have George as a rival to Robert Carr and will attempt to foreshadow how much worse he will be compared to Carr.
The ones that feature Henrietta Maria as Protagonist or at least POV character, where George is normally a baddie trying to sabotage HM and Charles I's relationship, and his death is often portrayed as some sort of salvation for HM. In these books George will often be lamed for things which were IRL Charles's fault such as the expulsion of HMs French household in 1626.
Three Musketeers is practically a category in its own right due to all the film/tv adaptions but has had relatively few clones or imitators in English which is something of a surprise
George is only a protagonist in one of these books (Darling of Kings, P J Womack) in the rest he's a cameo or a villain
Rumours that I suspect authors know is nonsense are repeated verbatim such as Tracy Borman's baseless speculation about G offing the Manners brothers, king James, and his rumoured involvement with the occult.
Georges relationships with James and Charles respectively are mentioned but not meaningfully explored. neither are any other personal relationships he had.
The insights and shifts in terms of post 1970s revisionist and post revisionist scholarship esp. Roger Lockyer's bio of George have not found their way into any fiction set in this era. Georges capability as an administrator and manager of patronage is more often than not totally absent.
the general view of George and why he's often shown in such a negative light is pretty much "well, he was willing to god knows what with that dirty old man James; who knows what other depravities he was capable of" and its female authors who really seem to lean into this, which I find fascinating and disturbing.
EDIT (can’t believe I forgot this) George’s murder in 1628 is always the result of some sort of aristocratic conspiracy rather than the act of terrorism it was IRL. I do get why authors do this - the amount of world building and foreshadowing needed to make it seem plausible rather than random in universe. However making it the result of personal grudge rather than ideological violence detracts from why it was so shocking and important.

Story quest thoughts!!!
Biggest impression I got from the quest is that the team has a direction for where they want to take the story. Which like finally. The quests being called “beginning of the end” really signifies to me that they’re not gonna keep stalling with the story anymore. The stakes are going up and it really feels like we’re nearing the end of the main story quests, at least the story we’ve been following.
Speaking of stakes, omg we actually bombed the DC headquarters. Went over this in a previous post but like. Sso has NEVER made a previously permanent area inaccessible. Im gonna miss the platform and emo crust-Justin (Gone but not forgotten❤️) but honestly? This was such a great way to make the scale of the battle so much larger. Also it does make sense to me that the HQ never actually drilled for oil. Dark core has other establishment that I’m sure were actually doing legit business, but since all the workers on the oil rig are robots anyway and it’s the location of the portal, it makes sense that they reserve the HQ for just the magic shenanigans.
Anne never hesitating to use her powers in the most dangerous way possible will never cease to be funny to me. Go queen commit whatever atrocities you need to. But I honestly think everyone was pretty well written in terms of dialogue. Anne takes a major risk with her powers, and it results in her getting the revenge she wanted. Alex isn’t only used as an engine for comedy, and I really like the bit where she expresses remorse for leaving us to face the dark riders on our own. Linda gets a lot more screentime than I expected, and she really reminds me of her book counterpart in these quests. The DR have nearly killed her so many times and she’s just not afraid of them at this point. She has this confident assertiveness to her that we don’t really see as much when she’s talking to friends, outside of short quips. Lisa is the only one who didn’t get that much through these quests, but I’ve kind of gotten used to that at this point. I can project my headcannons onto her regardless
Surprisingly I was also really fond of the soul horses this time! Concorde and Tincan had some really nice ominous foreshadowing to their dialogue (Runestones hasnt been used since WHAT dark times Tincan???????) and both Meteor and Starshine had some fun dialogue
The DR are always just so great. You don’t understand I love Jessica more than anything in this world. Her telling Katja to “do the thing” and it’s just them riding over an already iced river is absolutely wonderful. And oh my god the ENDING. Its so cinematiccccc. Mr sands is back after what. 7 years?? Insane. The three hits on the tree, the glowing red runes of the hammer, Sabines full name of general Malumi, Erissa sommersaulting out of the portal LIKE. The questline was short but it was so packed with new story developments. The soul riders think theyve won while the dark riders welcome their fourth general come onnn.
So Darko is dead right? Like if they were gonna bring him back they would at this point. I do wish they found a way to integrate him here, and if not that introduce him earlier in the game. I don’t really care that much about him as a character, but him being introduced as relevant, killing Elizabeth and then never being talked about again isn’t really the conclusion I want.
But overall I really liked the quests. Everyone felt in character, we got really impactful cutscenes, and the story is progressing in a way thats both natural and really exciting. I can’t wait to see whats gonna happen now that the HQ is gone and the dark riders are complete.

The Demon’s Queen
Chapter Twelve
First <> Previous
Something just wasn’t adding up. There had to be something that he was missing. Tim sighed as he stared at the screen in front of him. Two months, it had been two months since Sabine had first contacted them and no one in the entire family had been able to find even a clueas to what happened. They had tracked the emails that “Marinette” had been sending her parents and friends, hacked into the video and phone calls, had watched every last bit of security footage that they could find with her in, and nothing. Cameras were almost always down during Akuma Attacks, so it made it even harder to see if someone was watching her while she was transformed. There was no physical evidence of anything, Tim had spent so many sleepless nights trying to figure this case out with the rest of his family and there was nothing .
Tim took a sip of his coffee only for nothing to spill into his mouth, empty. Alfred would kill him if he went to get more, but goodness did he want some. Tim sighed, he would rewatch the footage of one of her last fights onemore time before he switched to the Riddler case. Everything was the same as the last time he had watched it, causing him to sigh, but right before he was about to close it out he noticed something in one of the shadows of the shot. Tim glared at the darker part of the shadow, how had he missed that before, how had all of them missed that?
Tim zoomed in and brightened the photo, looks like his time as a photographer was coming to use once more. There. It looks like some type of dark cloth, and while that doesn’t necessarily tell him who it is, each villain had their own MO and that meant their own style of costumes. Even lackeys needed to follow that style. So if he was able to figure out the type and style of the cloth, then he had the potential to narrow down the list of potential villains. Of course, he’s going to need more than just the corner what appears to be a sleeve, but that won’t be too much of a problem. Looks like he’ll be looking at the darkest shadows of different videos and images. Tim glanced at the coffee machine and sighed, looks like he’ll be suffering Alfred’s disappointment stare in a few hours. With one last sigh he stood up to grab some coffee and look closer at their very first and possibly biggest clue.

Talia wanted to train with Marinette today, she was not looking forward to it. She was tired of fighting, tired of poisons, tired of weapons, and tired of life. She could barely sleep, the food was always the same making even the spices become bland, and she didn’t think she would be able to handle the insults today without having some sort of breakdown.
She stared up at the woman who towered a few heads over her. Her face was a mix of both smooth and sharp features, her skin a dark tan, with piercing green eyes the same shade as the boy’s. Marinette hated her.
“You are a strong fighter, even before this training you were an impressive opponent. It is one of the main reasons my son chose you. You have already shown your capabilities of leadership, the brilliance of your mind in Paris. If you had better technology and preparation I have no doubt you would have figured out Hawkmoth’s identity far sooner.” Marinette stared at the woman in shock. She had not been expecting that. The woman’s face was stoic as she said this, but Marinette could tell that she wasn’t lying to her (at least she liked to think she could tell that).
“I can see it in your movements, the way you hold yourself, the conviction that burns in your eyes that you wish to leave this place at all costs.” Talia continued, never wavering as she addressed the child. “But I want you to truly think back to your life in Paris. Think back on how people treated you even before you became a hero for the masses. The sacrifices you were forced to make for a responsibility you were forced into. The person you were forced to become through no choice of your own.
“You are stronger because of those experiences, but they weren’t experiences that should have been forced upon you.” Marinette didn’t even notice that Talia had slowly been falling to one of her knees. They were now eye to eye, and Talia had placed a warm gentle hand against Marinette’s cheek. It felt almost motherly as tears began to prick at her eyes with the words she didn’t know she needed to hear after so long of violence.
“You never wanted to be here either. You were taken from your home and you feel trapped once more; except you no longer have your companions with you. You must feel all alone here, I can’t imagine how hard this must be for you when you are such a social person.” Her voice was soft, bringing images of her own mother back to the forefront of her mind. “I have no doubt that one day, you will surpass my son; if only through your will to escape.
“All I ask is to lend him your patience as he was never allowed to grow like you. He was sheltered here, can you imagine the sort of strain that would leave?” Marinette shuddered at the thought. She had only been here for maybe a few months, she couldn’t imagine spending her entire life here. “I knew you’d understand.” She whispered, placing her forehead against Marinette’s own. It was strange, but it was something so tender that Marinette missed that she happily allowed the action. They must have stayed like that for a few minutes before Talia slowly pulled back, tucking invisible strands of hair behind Marinette's ear.
“Now let us spar, I wish to see how you fight, soon to be mighty General for The League of Assassins.” Marinette felt her chest swell with a warmth that she hadn’t felt in a long time. Conviction to do more than just escape fueled her movements as she whispered to impress the woman who had shown her compassion when she could have acted like everyone else in the base. She never once noticed the sly smirk on Talia’s face as Marinette turned towards the mats.

“You know”, the strange black cat began, it’s tail moving side to side at a lazy pace; “I’m sure that Marinette would be more open to this if she had one of us with her.” Damian rolled his eyes, this wasn’t the first time they had attempted this. He ignored them. He had already stated his opinion on this and he would not be doing so again. Words were weapons, and overusing them, just like any other weapon, would wear it out.
Knock knock pause knock knock knock
“Come in Mother.” Damian replied cooly, leaning back in his chair slightly as he watched his mother enter the room with her usual grace.
“Damian darling, you have fine choice in warriors, though she was far too easy to manipulate.” Damian raised his brow, a silent motion that asked her to continue. “She has been trapped here for months My Darling, she is trapped and restless. She is unused to the way of the League, and thus she struggles here from her old way of life. Show her the village down the mountain as a reward. She has deserves it, especially after our spar today.
“You fought with her?” Damian asked. He wasn’t concerned, he knew his mother well and knew that she would not cause any serious damage.
“Indeed. She is a strong warrior with an even stronger mind.” Talia placed a gentle hand against her son’s shoulder, her eyes softening the way they only did when it was just the two of them. “Take her to the city Damian, both of you could use the light.”
Damian gave her a small nod. “Yes mother. We will leave tomorrow.” Talia smiled at her son one last time, giving his shoulder a small squeeze before she left the room once again.
It was silent for a few moments as Damian collected his thoughts before Plagg’s voice rang out, “Looks like the little prince will be going on a date.” Damian let out a put upon sigh. With a simple roll of his eyes he stood. He had his annual meeting with the Grand Guardian of the recently revived Guardian Temple where he would finally rid of the curses that had plagued the lives of so many; including that of his new general.

Miraculous Winx
(Please note that I will never do anything with this concept, so if anyone wants to give it a go, feel free!)
So, once I started thinking about it, this shit wouldn’t leave me alone. Let’s start with some basics.
In Winx Club, we have the Dragon Flame … and not much else? Like, why do we only have the Flame, representing concepts and power, but no other similar forces? Well, Miraculous Winx does.
These guardian spirits are everywhere. Representing not just flame, but water, time, illusion, destruction. Some, like the Dragon Flame, are protectors of specific planets and peoples. Some are more isolated, hiding from the world. However, once each generation or so, these spirits will pick a chosen to wield their power, to protect it and others. Some are obvious about their chosen, others hide until they are forced to reveal themselves. A few spirits, like the Domino Dragon Flame, only choose their wielders from the ruling family. Others, like the Fox of Illusion, choose at random. They accompany their chosen in “kwami” form (small and cute) to assist and guide them. The upcoming year at the various schools of Magick is notable for having the most known chosen attending - and the most prominent not.
See, forty or fifty years ago, the ruling family of Creati (yes, it’s a dumb name, Winx names were not much better, I am open to suggestions) lost their ruling family. The king, queen, both children, and the loyal family retainer, were all killed by insurgent rebels. This left a grieving uncle, Su-Han the First, to take the throne. While the kingdom has recovered from this devastating loss, in the time since, their guardian spirit, the Ladybug of Creation, has not chosen another wielder, and there are whispers about Su-Han’s line …
Meanwhile, Marinette Dupain-Cheng is struggling with what she wants to do with her life. While her parents are accomplished bakers, her uncle a master chef, and while Marinette has only ever been supported by her family for her dream to be a fashion designer, she feels like something is missing. Like there’s more out there for her, if she can just find it. When going to visit her grandfather, Fu Cheng, one of the only people she feels understands her sometimes, she encounters a strange kid with … magic powers!? Fighting butterfly monsters!? And she somehow BLASTS THEM WITH ENERGY!?!?!?
Life is about to get far more confusing, interesting, and … Miraculous.

So, some rough Ideas (Again, keep in mind, I will never do anything with this, so if anyone wants to play around with any part of this idea, change shit, or whatever, go ahead):
So, Marinette isn’t a lost Royal - Sabine and her brother Wang are. Fu was their family retainer, and managed to escape with them the night their family was attacked. Fu was pretty sure that whoever attacked the family would track them down, and decided to hide on Earth, which as far as the Magic community is aware, hasn’t been magic for several centuries.
Fu has suspicions that Su-Han (technically his brother by circumstance) was behind the insurgents, in an attempt to steal the throne. He’s … half-right? Like, it was not Su-Han’s idea to try and assassinate anyone, but he was not above taking advantage of the situation after all was said and done.
While Earth’s magic has been “gone” for quite some time, Tom Dupain is Descended from one of Earth’s most prominent magical families.
Creati’s current rulers are Su-Han’s son, Zhao Yuen, and his wife Elizabeth. Their daughter, and heir to the throne, is Bridgette. While she is not chosen by Tikki, Ladybug of Creation, she is quite beloved by the people.
Sabine and Wang were, respectively, six months and three years old - combined with the trauma of watching your parents murdered in front of you, they don’t remember anything of where they came from. They are under the impression that their parents died in an accident (Fu is always vague because he hates lying to them) and that Fu is their uncle/godfather/close family friend.
The one actually in charge of the insurgent force that killed the ruling family of Creati was … well, if you want to get technical, Gabriel and Emilie Agreste. A related the queen of Creati’s sister planet, Destruk, Gabriel and Emilie are notable for being the chosen of Nooro, Butterfly of Metamorphosis, and Duusuu, Bird of Emotion. However, in recent years, both have fallen out of the limelight, and no one was really sure what happened to them. It’s only recently that the spotlight swung back on them when Plagg, Shadow Cat of Destruction, chose their son, Adrien, as his wielder, rather than Adrien’s cousin Felix, the next in line for Destruk’s throne.
It should be noted that, for all they are “sister” planets, Creati and Destruk’s ruling families have gone out of their way to avoid their families “merging”. There is an old legend that if the holders of Creation and Destruction “unite”, they could bring “miracles both wonderful and devastating”.
Many of the current “Guardians” attending Alfea/Cloud Tower/Red Fountain are of the “randomly selected/best fit” variety, rather than “chosen from royalty”. The main exceptions are Domino Princess Kagami, who is chosen by the Longg the Dragon Flame; Lady Chloe, niece of Amberix’s Queen, chosen by Pollen, the Subjugating Stinger; and Prince Adrien, cousin to Destruk’s heir, chosen by Plagg, The Shadow Cat.
Alya, the current chosen of Trixx, Fox of Illusion, is doing everything in her power to hide that she is chosen. That’s because people from her home planet, Miraj, face a lot of stigma from other peoples for being natural illusionists - lots of people assume that they are all natural liars and deceivers. Alya, wanting to be a news reporter, feels that no one would trust her as a news source if they knew she’d been chosen by Trixx. Helping her with her deception is her childhood “friend” Lila Rossi, who revels in the attention being “chosen” gets her, (and might be scheming to become chosen for real …)
Luka and Juleka live in a port town on Melody, in the Harmonic Nebulae. While Luka is pure Melodian, Juleka’s dad was from the planet Umbra, which has caused her to develop several traits that can cause problems for her. She has attended a support group for kids with clashing heritiages, which is where she met Rose, the daughter of a Linphea flower merchant, and a Destruk funerary director.
Chloe is the daughter of a prominent Eraklyon noble, and might have even been next in line for the throne if she played her cards right … until her powers finished properly manifesting, and it became SUPER OBVIOUS that Chloe isn’t exactly, uh, related to the royal family like everyone thought. While before she sneered at the thought of attending Alfea with so many “peasants”, now she can’t wait to attend, so she can get away from the messy divorce that is causing a massive scandal all over Eraklyon.
Chloe’s bio-dad is from a race of insect-bee-wasp-like humanoids from the planet “Amber 6”/“Amberix” (Please note this is the closest translation for the Amberix local dialect). While for the most part she passes as pure Eraklyon, once her fairy form finished settling, it became very obvious she had Amberix heritage. Unbeknownst to Chloe, her bio-dad is sibling to the current matriarch of Amberix, making her actually much closer to royalty than she was before.
Fu used to be chosen of Wayzz, the Impenetrable Shell, but he used a powerful spell to escape Creati, which caused him and Wayzz to be separated. the resulting power surge was so exhausting that Wayzz fell into a dormant state to recover, and stayed that way until he was discovered by someone with potential to become his next chosen.
Nino is vaguely embarrassed about his status as Wayzz chosen, because most of his friends have really cool stories about dream visions and quests to meet their spirits. Wayzz, however, was so dormant that he couldn’t do any of that stuff. Nino meeting Wayzz was a straight up accident. He was on a field trip to the castle, got kind of lost, found a piece neat of jewelry stuck in a crack, picked it up with the intention of giving it to the tour guide, forgot about it, made it all the way home before remembering, and put the bracelet on just cause, which woke up Wayzz. Nino proceeded to freak out, throw things at Wayzz until his parents showed up, and had to be talked out of running back to the palace to give the bracelet back. While Wayzz stands by his decision to keep Nino as his chosen, Nino is fully aware that him finding Wayzz was total coincidence.
Faragonda is still the principal of Alfea. Damocles is the Vice-Principal.

Background: Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sabine spent the majority of her life in the big city and she loved every minute of it. By the age of fourteen she’d gotten to know every nook and crannie of her neck of the town, spending most days playing on her Nintendo or watching old movies when she wasn’t baking with her father. In her last year of middle school she became interested in cheerleading, putting her trumpet aside for the time being. Life was on track to being just right for her rest of her school career. It was just Sabbies luck that her parents decided to move a state over into the town of Lima, Ohio so that her father may start his own bakery and Sabine can grow up in a safer envoirement. Suddenly thrust into a new town with no friends to speak of, Sab takes to the woods on the outskirts of town at first. Often spending hours under the shade of trees, playing video games or learning new songs on the trumpet. That is until Santana Lopez takes her under her wing. The Queen Bee back then, Santana took Sabine to every party her good looks could get her into, made sure she always wore the best-looking designer clothes (even when they were knock-offs), and secured a her a spot in the Cheerios. Freshman year of high school had Sabine believing she could go the next three years without being ridiculed. And then Santana messed it up by publicly calling her a stalker, a pervert. Suddenly, Sabine was back in the outskirts. Threatening to sue Sue Sylvester if won’t let her leave the Cheerios, she takes up playing trumpet in the school’s marching band and waits for the scandal to blow over - she never did find out why Santana snapped. When the New Directions are formed and the band is forced to join them in their endeavors, Sabine doesn’t mind at first. That is until Santana joins the club, alongside her new HBIC. Once again, Sabine’s sanctuary is destroyed and she isn’t sure how she’ll handle the rest of high school.
