Dolcezza - a GShade Preset

Someone kept asking me to make one so here it is!

No hot keys cause well i just don’t do that

Not gameplay friendly - It’s pretty heavy

Bloom is doing all the work so it you take it off it’s not gonna look the same.

It looks nice with all skin tones but especially darker ones!

I do use a lighting mod so i don’t know if it’ll change something but here it is

this is my first preset i'm very happy to share it ! <3

- i created this preset with Gshade, i recommend you to watch lemonclouds tutorial on youtube to see how to install it, if you have reshade i don't know if it works, i would say yes but i am not sure.

- feel free to modify the effects if you want - if your pc is slow i don't recommend you to use it all the time but only if you want to take screenshots

- i would appreciate it if you would credit me, and i would also be very happy to see how the preset looks in your game!

- and of course if you have any problems don't hesitate to share them i will try to answer you but i'm not a pro

ahh!! baby’s first download!!!! i finally sucked it up and downloaded gshade last week and i’ve been having a lot of fun settling on my own preset because i’m super picky and could never find one that i quite liked enough to use as a default! built this one from scratch with my own settings but i WAS inspired (and motivated to finally download gshade lol) by simgirlz’s gorgeous glow comic preset (get it here)!

there’s two presets included, one of them titled “hearth gameplay” and the other’s called “hearth screenshot,” the only difference between them is that the screenshot one has the comic filter on it! I don’t like looking at the outlines on the ui when playing lmao. uh if you have any issues with it please let me know, this is my first time sharing anything i’ve made and i’m new to gshade especially! if you have any questions dm me i will be happy to try my best and help.

ok, back to GShade...

i was not happy with the last GShade preset i created to use with my laptop, so today i went back to it with the help of Chat GPT4 lol.

here's a completely new preset and i am much happier with it! images on the left have no GShade and images to the right have the new preset on.

my main objectives with the preset were:

reduce the yellowish hue that seems present even with Sunblind + Out Of The Dark (this was the hardest part, i did it with LiftGammaGain, exact settings are screenprinted)

increase the brightness and crispness of the whites

slightly increase the level of detail

make the overall image look brighter while giving it a healthy and colorful (but not overly colorful) contrast

do all these without impacting performance too much and without having to disable post-processing and edge smoothing

i am very happy with the results! i want to use this preset only for screenshots, not gameplay.

4 shaders were used:

LiftGammaGain

Levels

Curves

Clarity (i love this one, always use it)

the only thing that i also wanted but couldn't get was a way to simulate Depth of Field without having to diasble post-processing and edge smoothing :(

i shall keep trying to find a work around, as i think DOF looks completely stunning in screenshots.

After countless of comments of you guys asking how my game looks the way it does aesthetically, I FINALLY figured out how to share my personal preset with you guys!

Introducing the Soft Life G-Shade preset!

♡ mxao & depth of field are included, but feel free to turn it off your pc can't handle it!

♡ made with g-shade ver. 4.2.2, but it can be used with reshade as well!

I used this link to download g-shade (even after the drama with the creator), and it worked perfectly fine with no sort of issues to my game or computer.

i've been playing with this preset for a while now, and i've finally polished it enough to put it out into the world. it is probably the most subtle preset (IMO) that i have ever made. i wanted to keep the natural tone of the game as much as i could bc that is just the vibe i've been loving.

important: i use lighting mods/terrain overrides in my game. without those there is a chance your game may look different then mine. i will link all lighting mods/terrain overrides below.

COMPUTER SECURITY & GSHADE

Okay tumblr is scaring the shit out of me!! I don't know where this whole narrative of "It's just so people don't tamper with the code!" and "it was so your computer reset if you downloaded from an unapproved source!" is coming from!

This is not the case!!

Someone made a patcher to make GSHADE presets compatible w/ Reshade. One of the Devs decided they wanted to go on a total power trip and made it so if you downloaded unofficial presets such as the presets you can find on tumblr that were originally made for Reshade the patcher to make your gshade stuff compatiable with reshade, your PC would restart!

This is NOT NORMAL OR ACCEPTABLE.

When you install GSHADE, you are giving it administrative privileges to INSTALL. Instead it's using these privileges to gain access to your KERNAL and IMPORTANT directories to shut EVERYTHING down when it finds the patcher or presets made by the patcher. All because the Dev was attempting to keep people from making a fork (patcher) of another fork (Gshade) of a program that they do not own (RESHADE).

In the face of all of this, the dev has proven that they have the ability to do the same or WORSE if they decide to do so (aka if someone else pisses them off). Please do not disregard the safety of your PC and the data on it simply because a program can take pretty pictures of your game. If you want to keep using Gshade, that's on you but DO NOT try to make this seem like it's not as bad as it actually is!

This is the Dev addressing NoNite in regards to his program. Again, admitting that this code was directed at them and was meant to be "a lesson". Then proceeding to say that it would be Nite's fault for allowing people to download their patcher if the dev decided to do something EVEN WORSE.

Ophelia - A GShade Preset

Hi! I decided to return to content making by releasing a reshade! This one has been in the works since January and it started out as a 3.0.8 preset but I couldn't figure out how I wanted it and then life happened so unfortunately Ophelia was shelved. And now it's back! Using the same preset as 3.0.8, Ophelia for GShade was born :)

This is a GShade preset, unknown if it works for Reshade versions.
