cloud spirit - a gshade preset

hello we are back! i made a new preset because i felt like it and now here we are :) this preset also includes some shortcut keys!

the images have not been edited at all, except for the second and third leaf pictures from the first image and just doing the gshade on/off edit.

so the shortcut keys are as follows;

shift 4: warm color shader

shift 5: relight toggle

shift 6: bloom toggle

feel free to change these buttons as they may not be super convenient for you.

ALSO, the relight shader is NOT included in this download! if you would like it and have had trouble finding it, don't hesitate to shoot me a message. here I have a picture of the gshade with and without relight in case anyone was curious.

mango - a gshade preset

initially made to be reminiscent of stardew valley, i messed around and ended up making mango - resembling a child’s oil pastel project, mango offers a warm retro feel for your virtual escape!

i've been playing with this preset for a while now, and i've finally polished it enough to put it out into the world. it is probably the most subtle preset (IMO) that i have ever made. i wanted to keep the natural tone of the game as much as i could bc that is just the vibe i've been loving.

installation tutorial: How to Make The Sims 4 Look Better! (GShade Install + Tutorial/Presets/Lighting Mods)

important: i use lighting mods/terrain overrides in my game. without those there is a chance your game may look different then mine. i will link all lighting mods/terrain overrides below.

sunblind, tech-hippie terrain override, out of the dark

file location: C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\gshade-presets\Custom

tou: do not reupload and claim it as your own. do not use it as a base, tweak, it and try to claim it as your own. tweaking for personal use is completely fine. i hope you enjoy this preset. if you use it make sure to tag me so i can see.

raíces - a reshade preset

vibrant and crisp just like memories should be

Important things:

Lighting mods: I'm using sunblind and better in-game lighting mod (dark saturated dark rooms) so it might look different in your game.

Toggle Keys: I'd recommend changing toggle keys to the ones that work for you (Shaders I found useful to turn off sometimes: BloomAndLensFlares, HexLensFlares & CinematicDOF).

I wouldn't use it for gameplay, but I won't stop you. I only use it for screenies.

Reshade/Gshade: it should work for both

I beg you, do not claim as yours and don't reupload it! Edit it as you will for personal use (in other words, don't use as a base).

see how it looks in other people's games (ty to those who tested it). Feel free to tag me if you use it so i can see!

it wasn't made for cas but it works (more or less), maybe it looks better with other backgrouds. At least with white backgrounds you have to turn off BloomAndLensFlares, HexLensFlares and maybe the DOF shaders (mainly CinematicDOF).

i added the list of shaders in case you guys are missing some (all of them can be downloaded by default when you install reshade I think). Keep in mind that the order of the shaders MATTER.

Hi everyone! I'm back with another version of my reshade preset! This is pretty much a super toned-down version of my previous presets, with only one version that should work perfectly in cas and in regular gameplay! There are toggles to disable/enable certain effects: - f9 disables comic/outline effect - f10 disables mxao/shadows - f11 enables adof/blur (I only use adof when taking screenshots in game, it should automatically be off when the preset is launched; otherwise, it will blur your game and cause lag) You can watch a tutorial on how to download this preset here! (This was for my previous preset but it should work the exact same way) FIXES FOR COMMON ISSUES WITH THE PRESET: If the outline effect isn't working - make sure you have edge smoothing disabled in the sims graphics settings. If the preset looks dark - make sure that the RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED is set to 0 in the global preprocessor defenitions on the reshade menu. If you have any questions please comment them down below and I'll try and awnser them asap for you! <;3 (THIS FILE IS COMPLETELY SAFE, IT MAY TELL YOUR COMPUTER THAT IT COULD BE HARMFUL BUT IT'S NOT!)

este es un preset de gshade que cree inspirado en el cottagecore aesthetic, incluyendo tonos cálidos y muy suaves. para obtener más referencias de como luce mi preset, puedes ver mis recientes videos en mi canal de youtube, o específicamente en esta mini serie que hice del pack de "se alquila" donde podrás encontrar una vista más detallada de como luce en interiores, exteriores y sobre los sims.

importante: este preset lo utilizo en conjunto con otros mods de iluminación, por lo que si solo instalas el preset es posible que se vea diferente en el juego sin esos mods, (aquí un video de los mods que utilizo + configuraciones del preset). además, cabe destacar que el preset solo ha sido utilizado con gshade; no estoy segura si funciona de la misma manera con reshade.

i installed switches so you can easily turn them on and off

i thought for a long time about what to call the preset, then I changed my mind and left everything as it is

named after the arlo parks song! a warm and glowing preset meant for ingame shots, intended to be reminiscent of old photography with sepia tones. bloom-heavy so i wouldn’t recommend it to be kept on while playing the game or in cas, especially if you have a lighter cas background

works with reshade or gshade provided you’ve downloaded most of the shaders available

looks best outdoors at sunrises and sunsets and on darker skintones- it’s not going to turn your white sims into flashbangs but uh it’ll be close

you can edit it as much as you want but it’d be nice if i got a tag <3
