overwatch ratings based on how they would date

did this a while ago but spent too much time on it for it to not be posted. this is just a personal opinion and personal ratings based off lore and bias tbh. this will be updated with every hero (if I remember to lol)

Tanks:

D.VA: 6/10. Caring and loving, fun gaming dates, but gets recognized a lot, and if it came down to it she’d choose her job to protect south korea over her lover

Doomfist: 4/10. He’d be a gentleman but probably only in it for sex or to be a sugar daddy. He’d treat his “lover” with respect tho so not a total loss i guess.

Junker Queen: 7/10. After the shit she’s been thru i think she doesnt really want a partner cuz shes afraid they’re just using her to get to the throne or that she’ll lose them. She’s protective and caring but also a bit overprotective to the point where it’s like okay calm down. Also might get into a few fights but eh.

Orisa: 0/10. she thinks it would be cute to be in a relationship but knows she cant be in one due to being the “protector of numbani”. so no.

Ramattra: 8/10. Deadass depends if it’s an omnic or not. If his lover is an omnic he will cherish them and take care of them, knowing that they’re one of the few things he loves in this life. If it’s a human then theres some. Problems. He doesnt open up easily and while he’s still protective and caring he can sometimes get very distant towards them because he fears that they only got close to him to use him or kill him.

Reinhardt: 9/10: Perfect gentleman. Treats you with respect and love, and cherishes you no matter what. -1 is because he can be really loud sometimes even when he doesnt mean to be

Roadhog: 5/10. I think of him as aroace but he would try and give it a shot just to feel what it’s like. Hes very quiet but also very calm. He would listen to his lover and do his best to help them, but he moves around a lot thanks to junkrat now and might cut off communication with you just to keep you safe when he's on the run

Sigma: 5/10. A real gentleman, would treat his lover with respect and kindness and love. Only downside is when he has one of his mind breaks and breakdowns. He forgets who he is and just focuses on violence. Also his control of gravity in that state is very fucky so if he’s having a breakdown his lover might get throw to the ground. He feels like jackshit afterwards and probably realizes it’s best not to have someone he cares about so close to him

Wrecking Ball: 0/10 no. he would simply not even if he wanted to. Aroace hampter

Winston: maybe a 1/10. i feel like he doesnt want a romantic relationship with anybody and just wants friends (aroace monke)

Zarya: 6/10. Protective and caring but would focus too much on her job. would also pick her country over her lover if it did come down to it

Mauga: 8/10: Would treat his lover right and give them anything they asked for. Free beach house, gifts, and a loving, protective, obsessive bf. -2 because slight yandere vibes and can get too possesive-

Damage:

Ashe: 6/10. Partners in crime kinda thing but if you’re not really into that stuff she’s probably not that into you. She has BOB watching you when she cant during a fight but shes always next to you when she can be.

Bastion: 0/10. Dude just wants to live in the woods with his bird he doesnt want that stuff.

Cassidy: 8/10. Southern sweetheart. Treats his partner with love and respect. Only downside is that he’d be out a lot doing his job, but he would let somebody else do it to be with you if it’s a special occasion or if he really wants to stay with you.

Echo: 2/10. Not big on romance but would try it out for science. Sadly in the end it’s not real love so. Oof

Genji: 9/10. Probably doesn’t want a relationship at first because of his body but he gets used to it and opens up his heart. Honestly very good boyfriend would be there to listen and help you with stuff. -1 cuz he might be out doing overwatch stuff a lot and also might not be the most exciting person to be around if you're a hyper person.

Hanzo: 6/10. Can’t see him getting in a relationship after everything thats happened but if he did he’d be kinda bad at it but you could tell that he’s trying his best.

Junkrat: 5/10. I love him but i cant really see him *staying* in a relationship for long. He doesn’t know how to stop sometimes and can get really annoying really quick but he loves making things for his lover and would do his best to keep them away from the dangerous bombs. He loves them a lot but doesn’t know how to turn the love down. Really clingy so if youre into that cool.

Mei: 9/10. Absolute sweetheart. Loves you to bits and takes you out to her favorite restaurants and stuff. -1 cuz you had to have a long distance relationship due to her being in Antarctica and the fact she slept for years with no communication with her lover-

Phara: 4/10. Cares about her job more but would be an okay girlfriend, doing the basics.

Reaper: 1/10. He’s done with love and would probably just just be a sugar daddy or just be there for sex. Even if he did find himself feeling something he’d ignore it and move on

Sojourn:5/10. Not interested in dating or finding love but if it finds her she’ll go for it. Pretty nice girlfriend, makes sure to take care of her lover but does focus on her job a lot more sometimes.

Soldier:76: 0/10. Not interested and has made sure to break off any past relationships. Doesn’t want the people he cares about to get hurt. So he still cares but doesnt go see them.

Somba: 7/10. Would be a pretty good girlfriend if she wanted to have a relationship. She keeps all people she cares about far away and unaware of her deeds at Talon. So a long distance relationship until she can take some time off to go see her lover and vibe.

Symmetra: 3/10. Doesn’t know how to even start a relationship and doesn’t really want to. Her job is important to her so she wouldn’t want distractions from it.

Torbjorn: 6/10. His wife and him had a few children and have been married for a while so he’s probably got the whole love thing covered.

Tracer: 9/10. Probably one of the best on this list. She’s loving and caring and makes sure to spend a lot of time with her partner.

Widowmaker: 3/10. Last partner she had was um. killed by her so. +3 if you could break down her walls and see the real her but very low chance

Venture: 8.5/10: Would talk to you about rocks, fossils, and everything else they can think about. They’d even let you name rocks around the house. -2 cuz they’ll talk your ear off about rocks n stuff while also bouncing around everywhere. They can also be gone for long periods of time but always makes sure to call. If you can deal with the infodumping and adhd then 9.5/10 for you

Support:

Ana: 5/10. She doesn’t want a relationship but she’d be very loving and caring to her lover.

Baptiste: 8/10. Great boyfriend, lovers needs always come first and he’s very open and always has an ear out to listen. -2 because he’s constantly on the run and the relationship could get stressed.

Brigitte: 5/10. Mostly focused on her work but would make a pretty good girlfriend if she finds the right person. The relationship would mostly be a test one because she lowkey doesn’t understand it.

Kiriko: 4/10. Would love to be in a relationship but protecting her home is more important than finding love to her.

Lucio: 9/10. Actual sweetheart. Would make music for you and would cancel shows last second if something came up and you needed something. If you need anything he’ll be there to help.

Mercy: 8/10. She’s really focused on her work but no matter what would take time to come stay with you for a while. -2 because sometimes too focused on work and sometimes doesnt have time to see you for a long time.

Moira: 0/10. Not looking for a relationship and would probably lie just to get you strapped to a table and butchered.

Zenyatta: 7/10. Would make a decent boyfriend but he can’t have relationships due to being a monk. He’d be there to listen and to give advice when you needed it.

Liveweaver: 9/10. Perfect boyfriend in every way. Like no competition. -1 cuz he's on the run from multiple governments so he won't be able to talk all the time or be with you much to his dismay. multiple texts a day tho

Illari: 4/10. Tbh I can't see her getting into a relationship after everything. She's too scared that something will happen with her powers again and hurt her lover

Sloppy af, mf doesn’t know how to kiss

Leaves the bottom half of your face wet and he looks so overly proud

When you finally teach him he’s just quick and desperate, still leaves your lips a bit of a mess

Cole Cassidy

Long, loving kisses, very sensual and gentle

Touches your jaw and pulls you in, keeps his hands on you when he does

Doesn’t do little pecs it’s either long kisses or no kisses

Roadhog

Doesn’t usually kiss you, he LOVES you don’t get me wrong but he isn’t a touchy person

Googled how to kiss people only to find out you had to have lips to actually do that.

He doesn’t really kiss but instead puts his face plate against your forehead.

Quick pecs all over your face, usually grabbing your cheeks and squishing them while he does.

He’s very straight forward and kisses you when he feels like later in the relationship

When he kisses you on the lips it’s quick and he still squishes your cheeks

She isn’t one for big, fancy dates. So she much prefers staying indoors playing video games.

She’ll drag you along to arcades. Making sure you two have the whole place to yourselves.

Isn’t as romantic as she thinks. It’s always interrupted by her giggling.

No matter how much you spend it won't make a dent in the amount she has. And she’s willing to let you use as much as possible.

She'll likely become tired. So she’ll fall asleep and in turn trapping you in her arms.

“Let’s go!”

“Finally, I thought you would never win.” Your celebrating was mixed with her teasing. You two had been playing Mario Kart for hours, with you just now winning a round.

Tempted as you were to play another round, wanting to show her you weren’t as bad as she said. Pausing when you felt a weight on your shoulder, slowly looking over to see Hana.

She had fallen asleep, in turn falling onto your shoulder. Her sleeping quickly turned into cuddles, taking her place on your lap.

Maybe a nap wouldn’t be too bad.

The night was still young and Akande wasn’t going to waste it. Still in your outfits as he pulled you into his arms, the classical music playing faintly in the background.

If you’re not a junker she’s taking you for a tour, but if so you’re going right up to her room and throne room.

All you could hear is the yelling, shouting and screaming of the Junkers around you. Odessa had won another fight, not that anyone was surprised.

Watching everyone leave, still loudly chattering away. During that time she was making her way back up to the throne, making it clear when he returned.

“How was that?” Her arms opened just to pull you into a hug, picking you up off the ground.

“Another win isn’t new, so predictable!” Suddenly throwing you up into the air, letting you fall into her arms in a bridal carry. A giant smile on her face.

“Let's celebrate!”

I’m going to be honest here, he can only cook very few foods. He will insist on a cooking date, just supervise him, you’ll need to.

As he’s part of Talon (So are you likely) so the only place you two can safely go to is the base.

Is more on the flirty side rather than romantic, but he can try tone down the flirting but you’ll need to ask him most times.

Normally he wouldn’t care about the price of things, but with you? It doesn’t even pass his mind once.

Even if you two cooked earlier he needs a bit to fill him up, so it’s likely you’ll have to cook again. But if you don’t want to, he'll find someone else for the both of you.

He wanted to give you a surprise breakfast in bed, except for the fact both of you were standing in the kitchen. By now he knew your favourite kind so he was quick to start.

“Mauga, what are you doing?”

“Huh?” Brought back to attention, realizing he had stopped cooking and was staring at you. You learnt when the fire alarm was going off. The food had become burnt, not even you wanted to try it.

“Why don’t we order in?”

Takes you to a small and simple cafe.

Much prefers to stay at base, but if you want to go somewhere he will take you.

He doesn’t even try cause he has no clue what he’s doing, seeing no use in romance, unless you really want it.

Has plenty of money to spend due to various jobs and resources, and he allows you to spend a lot of it. Will watch what you buy to figure out what you enjoy.

He will return to work but you can stay around if you’d want. Might even let you sit on his lap.

He had no idea what you wanted to do, so he ended up on the internet. Looking up ideas that seemed good, ending up on the idea of a cat cafe. You enjoyed cats and food, well he hoped. While he couldn’t understand all these attachments if it made you happy he’d be fine.

The date started simple, while you ordered food he looked around at the cats. There was a range, from calicos to ragdolls. While he looked he didn’t see the cat walking up to you, a plain black cat.

It nudged you, causing your attention to shift.

“Ram, it looks like you!” Holding it up even as it shifted, only getting comfortable. It was a plain black, short haired adult, sporting a purple collar.

“It does.” Maybe he’d look for one similar to you.

ℝ𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕕𝕥:

Enjoys walking around a market, able to spend time with you and buy you things.

Also has fun sitting around at home or the base, able to enjoy your hobbies together.

Has quite a bit of experience due to his age, but is aware of how romantic he is.

Accidentally spends a lot of money on you during the walk, as he won’t look at the prices. Isn’t worried though.

Will hold you while you both enjoy a drink, telling you stories about anything he can think of.

Dropping the bags onto the floor, letting some items fall onto the floor but neither of you minded. He stretched, hearing his back crack.

“You should’ve let me carry the bags.”

“Nonsense by dear,” He picked you up, letting you sit on his shoulder, “You need to relax!” Grabbing himself a beer and your favourite drink before sitting down, dropping you onto his lap.

“Now, did I ever tell you about the crusaders?”

ℝ𝕠𝕒𝕕𝕙𝕠𝕘:

He’ll take you for a motorbike ride around the outback, won’t go scavenging unless you really want to.

Most times you’d be staying at his and Junkrats makeshift base.

Has little experience, due to being isolated from others.

Due to being a junker he doesn’t have a lot of money, also meaning neither of you need any.

He’ll take you both back to base, wanting to spend time with each other.

The sun was beating down on the land, and on you if Mako wasn’t in the way. Instead you were covered in his shadow, slightly cooler and safer from the heat. With the goggles protecting your eyes from any stray sand or dirt.

While you were looking around this gave Mako the chance to look at you. Taking in all your features. The way the sun revealed everything, everything that he loved about you.

𝕊𝕚𝕘𝕞𝕒:

He’ll cook you both a nice dinner to enjoy away from the others.

He won’t be able to leave the Talon base so thanks to Sombra you’ll be away and inaccessible to others.

As much as he tries he’s always flustered, sometimes laughing in between words.

Due to being at the Talon base neither of you will need any money.

He just wants to hold you close, cuddling while reading some of his favourite books.

You felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist, pulling you off of your feet so you hung above the ground. Looking behind to see Sigma looking down at you, a hung smile on his face.

“There you are Starlight!” Moving you around so you lay in his arms, floating over to a chair. “How about I read us a story?”

Asking as he pulled a book from one of his many shelves.

ℤ𝕒𝕣𝕪𝕒:

Her first thought would be a gym date, but she knows not everyone would like it. So she goes for a nice and cozy lunch date instead.

She takes you to a small, less popular cafe that she goes to often. It's kinda small yet cozy place.

Unluckily she has no experience, being focused on other things. But she still tries, constantly looking to improve.

Normally won't spend a lot but for you she’ll go over her normal amount, you’ll be able to get most items you want.

Will pull you around to look around the town, stopping by the nearest ice cream of gelato place. Treating you to a flavour of your choice.

Before she even knocked at the door you knew she had arrived, her nervous pacing outside wasn’t the quietest. With fast paced and surprisingly light knocks. Stepping away when you opened the door.

There she stood, a button up shirt and simple black pants. A bouquet of your favourite flowers were held in her hand, reaching for you to take them.

“Dear, you look amazing!” While speaking her voice cracked lightly, face covered in blush. Hold out her arm for you to take. “Ready for today?”

Hear me out, the reader is the S/O of Junkrat, Roadhog, Mauga, and Junker Queen that, with the help of extremely advanced tech of their own making can steal the appearance of the opponents using a mixture between holograms and genetic material for some time. Usually keep their own identity hidden behind a helmet, full body suit, wiping out files, etc. Only entrusting their s/o with such information.

-❦ Mauga definitely kicks his feet like a little school girl when you show off your sick ass gear.

-❦ He thought you were so badass when you guys first met, probably used the worst pick up line on you. (He was smooth with it though.)

-❦ Let out the most genuine, heartfelt, loving laugh when you expressed how you were nervous about showing him your face. Eventually you felt comfortable enough to reveal your true self to him. He 100% littered your face with kisses.

Junkrat

-❦ Junkrat probably followed you around endlessly after you saved his ass one time.

-❦ Oh he’s after you, won’t give up until you give in. Eventually you did.

-❦ Tried to play it cool when you opened up to him more and took your helmet off, he was absolutely smitten. Probably tinkers with your technology only for you to tell him off and later explain how important it is. He understands but it won’t stop him from trying again, he just wants to look!

Roadhog

-❦ Took a while but you got him to warm up to you, he’s just a giant teddy bear once you get to know him.

-❦ Thinks your equipment is extremely interesting. They don’t have that type of stuff where he’s from so it’s definitely a topic he likes to educate himself on.

-❦ He knows what it’s like to cover your face so he never pressed you about it. When you did take your helmet off and tossed him documents of your background, he gave you a thumbs up and pulled you into a cozy hug.

Junkerqueen

-❦ She thought you were competition at first, you guys were definitely rivals for no reason. When you first showed off your bomb ass tech she was all over you about how fucking cool you looked.

-❦ Odessa fell harddddd after that and declared you guys as the best rivals to step foot into Overwatch.

-❦ Quite a while after you guys started dating you showed her your face and let me tell you she flipped, hyped you up so hard. SHE IS IN LOVE WITH YOUUUUU.

Overwatch Dating Headcanons!!

Characters: Junkrat, Roadhog, Reaper, and Lucio

Junkrat 💣💥

Junkrat would be a very interesting partner.

He may not know how to show it without being more than his usual self.

When he first asks you out, he’s honestly very nervous. “You know, being a criminal and all!” He would say.

If you say yes, he will be overjoyed.

Literally more hyper than an sugar induced D.Va.

He will give you tiny explosives as a form of showing his love.

Once he gets to know you more, he’ll be even more cuddly than he already would be.

Laying in bed reading? He’ll drape himself over you and try to get you to stop reading. Sitting on the couch? He’s using your legs as a pillow.

PDA will be a 50/50 with him. It depends on the area really.

If he spots at least one person flirting with you, he’s planning on embarrassing them to the extreme. Only to have it backfire and embarrasses himself.

He doesn’t mind much since you comfort him back home about it.

Never will you wake in the same position you fell asleep in.

Roadhog 🥓🪝

Roadhog will be very gentle with you in the long run but at the beginning, he makes it very hard to communicate.

At first he would intimidate you but slowly warms up to you and you to him.

When he asks you out, he’s blunt. No corners, no second guessing. He’ll just ask if you want to see a movie or something.

Once you two are fully dating, he’s more gentle and communicative towards you.

If you’re tired, he’ll pick you up and carry you around. No questions, no nothing.

When you’re cuddling with him, he has one arm wrapped around you comfortably.

If he’s in a teasing mood, he’ll hold you close before tickling you. That’s the most he does to you.

When sleeping, he will have you tucked to his side or on top of him.

Reaper ☠️🦉

This man will honestly try to push you away.

Especially if he knew you liked him before he liked you.

Starting off, he would punish himself by purposefully making you upset.

If that doesn’t work, he’ll simply watch your back for now on. Even though he already was but will deny it if someone asks him about it.

He would be somewhat romantic as his affection for you grows.

Roses on your nightstand, random compliments that seem passive aggressive in a way,

If you agree to date him, he would take you to random places he thinks you’d like based on what he’s observed about you.

At night, whenever you go to bed, he will hold you close and not let go whatsoever. Almost like he’s afraid to loose you.

He definitely would be one to smack your ass as you walk around your shared room and show affection but once you’re outside, he rarely shows it.

I have a quick question if you don't mind me asking. Can you please do one where a gender neutral reader is a secret singer? Like they walk on stage and their partner recognizes them even with a costume and makeup. Can I please request Hanzo, Genji, Moira, Lucio, Ramattra, Zenyatta Junker Queen, Junkrat, and Roadhog to be the ones who are the partner who figures out that they're dating a popular singer.

There was a lot to this, but I hope it's okay! (I also haven't slept when I upload this, so I apologise for any mistakes or errors.)

I'll add everything under the cut, but here is a main scenario you can use or make your own up;;;

You had been dating your partner for a few months now and things were healthy. Everything was as it should be, though, you had a secret you couldn’t exactly tell them. Fear was holding you back - you did not know how they would act, whether they would use you or leave you.

HANZO

He was three drinks into the night when the act started.

At first, he didn’t care until the voice resonated within his ears.

Looking up, his eyes adjusted to the spotlights shining down amongst the crowd before they dimmed and the main stage lit up.

Their voice was something ethereal. Something that Hanzo recognised instantly.

Despite the outfit they were wearing, behind all of that make-up, Hanzo recognised the person instantly.

Shock was present on the archers face, but that was quickly overcome with astonishment.

He couldn’t believe it. His partner was the most popular singer in Hanamura.

Hanzo couldn’t stop staring, watching the way they performed so effortlessly.

Their hips swaying in time with the song, lips wet and shining in the spotlight, voice angelic as the day he first hear them.

His heart flutters, flush appearing on his cheeks and not from the alcohol he had already consumed.

When his eyes met theirs, a smile forms on their face, a wink directed to the man seated within the booth.

Hanzo could feel the heat rise in his body as he smiled back, tipping his glass towards his partner.

There were several emotions running through him, from love to lust, Hanzo couldn’t quite wrap his head around why you kept it a secret.

Nevermind though, he was already planning on making you sing for him privately.

Genji had made plans that night with a few friends he had made during his playtime in Hanamura all those years ago. Some form of a “catch up over drinks” he called it.

You hadn’t even bothered to check in on her today which only fueled her rage more.

She needed time to herself, however. Perhaps the night will go in her favour of some peace.

Just when she finished her second drink, the ice rattling in her glass, she turns to face the stage.

The act had already started, singer atop the stage in sparkles and glitter.

Moira felt something familiar but couldn’t quite place her fingers on it.

Then there was that turn you did, one that the scientist recognised instantly.

It was you singing your heart out. Not only that, but in such an establishment? She couldn’t quite believe it.

No wonder you had been distant today, you were here preparing for this.

He anger at you dies out instantly as she watches on, admiring the way your voice sounded along with the music.

She knew you could sing but this was an entire new level.

Moira clapped when the song was over, smile as wide as her face met yours to which you bashfully hid away.

Questions have answers and she was going to get them, one way or another.

It wasn’t his first time in the venue and it sure wasn’t going to be his last.

He always had a seat at the VIP table just in front of the main stage, and tonight you were suppose to join him.

When his calls went unanswered, a sinking feeling grew in his stomach. There were many faces already staring at him on his own.

He tried to drown his sorrows with a few drinks, hopelessly texting you, wondering where you are.

Then the announcer calls out a famous singers name and Lucio can’t help but feel somewhat hurt that you’re leaving him like this.

He stands to leave and when a voice starts singing, a perfect harmony that his ears twitch and listen to, he spins around.

Immediately he recognises you, he knows the frequency of your voice, they perfect, sweet noises that come from your throat.

It was you.

You hadn’t stood the artist up, no, you were here with him.

He takes his seat and watches you sway in time with the music.

Eyes meet and he can’t help but grin. No wonder you were so secretive.

When the song was finally over, you didn’t waste anytime in jumping from the stage and sitting beside Lucio.

His hand holds yours as he compliments you, placing a kiss to your temple.

He didn’t mind, it’ll be all over the papers tomorrow regardless.

RAMATTRA

What was an omnic like him doing in such a place like this?

The only time he had a need to being here was to strike deals that suited his arrangements.

A questioning invite made him wander into the place, suit hugging his body as he unbuttoned the blazer to sit down.

He crossed his arms, leaning back in the chair as he watched the stage, an opening act that did not pique his interest at all.

When a familiar voice rang through several minutes later, his receptors picked up the frequencies, instantly looking up to the figure on stage.

His optics adjusted to the light, a smirk coursing through his wires as he watches his partner, their hips moving to the rhythm.

He couldn’t help but stare, system flaring up as he records the show for later.

When his partner finally stops singing, their vocals now a slow murmur against the next act, Ramattra watches them make their way to his booth.

“You finally came through.” He spoke, matter of factly.

“What is that supposed to mean?”

“I knew.”

Of course he knew. He had everything about you saved within his systems.

At first he was confused as to where you were, but when a familiar voice sang out, stage lit up beautifully despite half of the bulbs flickering, his ears perk up.

He looked up, eyes widening as he witnessed his partner, the one singer he had on repeat for the last few months, was there on the stage.

He couldn’t believe it at first, but the subtle smiles and winks you passed to him was all the confirmation he needed that it was indeed you.

He was dating one of the well known and renowned singers in all of Junkertown.

It makes his head spin, the excitement taking over as he can’t help but stand and applaud when the act is over.

Mako grasps you firmly, pulling your body flush to his as he wipes the bead of sweat from your cheek.

“You have kept this from me?” His voice was low, gruff as he watched you.

“I had no choice.”

He huffs, shaking his head.

Yet, if the detailing focuses more on his own person, “Mako”, he’d be a bit more concerned as there’s still some individuals from his past that still have a grudge.

Whenever Mako finally comes home from his extended work mission, about two to three weeks after (Y/N) having gotten the tattoo, he’s quite curious as to what the tattoo might consist of seeing that (Y/N) would deny sending him pictures of it, stating that they would prefer to see his reaction. He’s able to catch a glimpse of color, raising an eyebrow at the placement of the tattoo, before walking towards (Y/N) who was bent over to draw themself a bath and rested his hands upon their hips. It’s then that he’s finally given permission to view the tattoo, chuckling as he gently tugs down their pants and lets them fall to the floor. Initially his first reaction is silence, thumb brushing across the tattoo as Mako takes the sight of it in. Observing the tattoo, the centerpiece of it is quite identical to the tattoo that he has upon his stomach, but instead of “Wild Hog Power” the wording had been replaced with “Mako’s Little Piggy”. Hanzo: I don’t think Hanzo would do much but I do think a nice bouquet of flowers would be there as well as a very sweet handwritten note

Reinhardt: In Germany, a very common tradition includes exchanging gingerbread hearts with written messages on them such as “You are my treasure” or “You are the best” or something to that effect. It happens during almost every major holiday

McCree: Classic American gift, a big box of chocolates and a huge teddy bear, like the ones you see at the carnival.

Solider 76: Old man probably isn’t very affectionate but I do think some fancy jewelry, that he picked out with the help of Ana, is a possible option as well as just a very simple rose bouquet.

Reaper: In Mexico, gift-giving is very common and Valentine's day is similar to the US. Reaper would probably gift you something you had been talking about for a while or related to a hobby you are interested in. Reaper would also be open to watching a movie and just cuddling for the day

Sigma: Definitely someone who I think would buy you a gag gift, tease you, and then hand you a real gift. It’s probably something space-related, or science related at the very least. If it’s a super big event like a 5 or 10-year anniversary, he might go all out with flowers and a home-cooked dinner.

Roadhog: Probably not used to having a significant other so give him some grace. Would definitely buy you a nice dinner and a nice card although don’t expect a handwritten note. He might not be the best at putting it into words, but he likes you.

Junkrat: Also not sure what is considered romantic but he likes blowing stuff up so possibly an at-home firework show. If he has a little bit of help from someone he might get you a stuffed animal like a penguin or kangaroo.

(The baby is a girl)

Mako is a good dad, a great dad even.

You’d think he’d get annoyed easily by the crying of the baby, but he simply will just scoop up the small human and cradle them ever so gently.

His nickname for his baby? “puawai iti” (little flower in the Māori language)

He’ll put his baby on his stomach with a hand on them and omg it so adorable.

You catch him staring at you while holding the baby, he’ll lie if you ask if he was smiling. (He 100% was)

When he’s out and about he has his baby in a sling on him, it has lil pachimari all over it. He also dresses her in a cute pachimari onesie!

Is scared to feed her but after you show him he’s a bit more confident. Does the airplane thing 100%.

Scared but happy, he genuinely is scared that he’ll accidentally hurt his baby by doing something stupid. But happy cause he finally gets to have a kid with you.

Makes baby clothes and it looks cute! Probably goes crazy when he sees baby shoes.

Puts all his dangerous explosive stuff on a very high shelf.

Cant change diapers for the life of him, like he will gag and vomit if he has to, so it’s your job now.

Giggles so much if she farts or burps, he takes videos of it and sends it to you with him giggling in the background.

Dresses her in very funny costumes and onesies.

Hanzo

Omg is so so happy he finally gets to have a kid with you. He always wanted a kid, and a kid with YOU, his dream is coming true.

When he finally gets to see his child, he starts crying and hugging you and his new baby girl.

Dresses his baby in cute little dresses! He found a cute dragon onesie and is obsessed with it.

Calls her “my little dragon”

Is a pro at feeding, changing diapers, calming her down, and making her laugh.

He spoils her so much that her room is engulfed with stuffed animals, blankets, and the cutest baby bottles.

The dragons love her, they cuddle her all the time.

Mcree

Is super excited, like omg I’m gonna be a father finally!

Dresses her in a lil cowboy hat sometimes it’s so cute, its brown with little bees on it. Has her own little cow boy boots to.

Feeds her like a pro!

Does that thing where she’ll toss her in the hair and catch her, gently of course.

If he’s out and about he has a baby carrier with horses all over it.

Doesn’t smoke when she’s with him, refuses it and will never do it. He actually stops a lot and rarely does in the future.

Has pictures of her and you in his hat, takes it out to show it off to his teammates.

Very excited! He’s gonna be a dad! It makes him so happy to have a baby with you.

Loves taking her around everywhere in a stroller, especially at the park when he’s on his daily run.

Stricks me as the guy who builds everything, like he built her crib, a shelf, her diaper changing paper.

Has 20 books on parenting, and asks Ana a lot of questions to.

Immediately almost has a panic attack and has flashback to Genji dying by his hand

Once you're healed Hanzo is in tears and shaking with hundreds of apologies spilling out of his lips

Even if you say it's okay Hanzo can't help the tug of guilt everytime he sees the scar his arrow left

Genji

He'll get to you in a second and whisk you off the battlefield

Once you're healed he'll pull you into a hug and just stay like that whispering an apologies every now and then

It takes a while to forgive himself but if you reassure him it's okay then the guilt will slowly melt awau

Kiriko

She has her healing ofudas so she'll quickly teleport to to you and heal you mumbling apologies

She feels terrible that she accidentally hit you

If you assure her it's okay she tries her best ot believe you and assures you it won't happen again

Junkrat

Many people told both him and you that he'd hurt you in this relationship but Jamieson never thought it would happen

Once you're healed Jamie will throw himself on you shaking with sobs and spouting apologies begging you not to leave him

It's obvious one of the other Overwatch members might've accidentally upset him

Jamie refuses to go on any missions with for a while to assure this doesn't happen again

Roadhog

He won't say a word as he takes you to a healer and it's easy to take it for 'he doesn't care'

But once you see him again and he silently hugs you before letting a quiet apologie be said you know the guilt that's been weighing on him

Mako won't cry the outback has made sure of that but he does feel terrible for what he's done

Junker Queen

She'll carry you off the battlefield cursing herself for accidentally injuring you

Once you're healed it's obvious she's holding back tears but she refuses to let them spill

She'll apologize once you two are somewhere private and she'll just hold you to just feel your warmth and know you're alive

Like, How would they react to a reader who has a sword that looks normal at first but when their S/O sees their partner in danger, the sword reveals itself as a cursed sword where the blade changes color and their S/O changes into a demon form (whenever the curse takes effect) to protect their partner and change back once they're safe.

❦ When I tell you this man let out the girliest fucking scream when you pushed your way to the front, eyes blown wide with your silly..bland sword held in front of you. He was hobbling back and forth, biting his already short nails.

❦ He was honestly a bit weirded out at the strange chant you muttered under your breath, didn’t wanna question it until your blade grew in length and shifted from a dull gray to this deep maroon.

❦ Sat there and watched your entire silhouette shift from human to this demonic creature, I mean you still looked the same just more…menacing and evil? Gawked as you rid of the threats in a quick brawl.

❦ Probably still distraught, hold him please. Definitely asks for you to go back to your demonic form. (Most likely just wants to touch your horns and inspect this new side of you.)

❦ Like I said, he knows you’re strong but definitely didn’t expect you to stomp up to the enemies with this new look of yours.

❦ The moment you heard everything going down behind you, you whipped around so fast you almost lost your balance.

❦ He’s fine don’t worry, just lost his footing from the force. He’s bleeding a little but the reassurance he gives you doesn’t stop you from stalking up to the person.

❦ He’s confused at first when your swords color is replaced by a dull, dusty, pink. He’s even more confused when your gaze darkens and your skin quite literally crumples off to reveal a more satanic look.

❦ Loves it though, thinks you look super cute! Even if the skin crumpling off is a little unsettling.
