Brand TermiPore is a comprehensive Reticulation System, that offers not just Pipes, but all the needed accessories along with sound technical support. Recently we had hosted a live session on How To Install TermiPore Above PCC , the recording is available at our YouTube handle:  https://youtu.be/MmySc_cwAbA
Furthermore, along with showing how to install TermiPore over PCC, we also demonstrated the extra precautions to be taken before leaving the site after installation over PCC. This video is also available at : https://youtube.com/shorts/8_dJxFyxaxA?si=X6pQfoteiazsSWXR
There is a considerable time between installation over PCC and completion of interiors. Also, the site will be visited by many agencies with their tools and lots of materials, like wood, plywood, laminates, ladders for painting, maybe even sand etc for indoor plants, landscapes, gardens, packaging materials etc... There is a high likelihood of termite infestation through these materials. Also, the ducting for plumbing, wiring etc are also vulnerable to termite attacks. So to prevent any such infestation, instead of waiting for all interior work to finish before injecting, you can spray or inject on the exposed TermiPore Pipe and other open areas like bathroom plumbing and electrical boxes
This extra step has many benefits:
It protects the pipe from termites that may be present in the sand and other material
The house is reasonably protected till proper injection can be done after the house is ready
Protects the premises from termites that can come from open passages of wiring, plumbing, drainage etc
In the video you can see how termiticide is sprayed in all open holes/areas on the wall.

They seem to have found another spotless giraffe calf. In the wild, in Namibia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wow, what a coincidence! And it’s a different subspecies, the previous was reticulated and this one is an Angolan! Sending good vibes that they make it to adulthood. Read more about it here. Here are two of the other three known patternless giraffes the recent one born in Tennessee and one from 1972 in Tokyo!

WIP - West 70th
1880s-1910s row of Upper West Side townhomes.
Been working on this row of late 19th c. brownstones on and off for the past year now, so needless to say when I heard about For Rent I was hype.
Download Here
This initially started because I was homesick for NYC during the pandemic. Specifically for the area of the upper west side my dorm was in while I was a student. I mainly blame this experience for my obsession with historical architecture - walking along central park west past the Dakota on the way to the subway, smoking on the stoops of the brownstones late at night, going to classes in the wedding cake that is the Ansonia - it was just everywhere, and so, so beautiful to look at.
Except a lot of it is faded glory - buildings subdivided, details chipped or covered in the thickest coats of grime or paint. So I wanted to replicate some of the old New York from around the turn of the century. The one I read about in the Luxe series and saw in the Samantha movie lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The basement or garden level of each four-story brownstone will be dedicated to the original purpose as the main workplace of the service staff. Unfortunately no room for the actual garden, so laundry lines and planters are on the roof. There are bedrooms and bathrooms for a cook and a housekeeper/butler, along with the staff dining and the kitchen. The butler's pantry is directly upstairs from the kitchen, and the top floor is almost exclusively made up of staff bedrooms and washrooms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I usually do the service areas first because they're the most interesting, and there was nothing more interesting than a full edwardian brownstone kitchen. Lots of exposed piping, beadboard, subway tile, and shelves of clutter. Has a separate scullery, pantry, and stairs down to a basement storeroom to keep your best champs-le-sims nectar in. There's also a servant's bellboard in the kitchen and the staff dining room. It along with the "boiler" system are made with tool and CC-free.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The main entrance and parlor are doing their best to continue the gothic revival theme of the exterior. The library and dining room follow in the enfilade starting in the parlor. Since this first house is a corner lot, it has a bit more width and space than a true brownstone. The only actual brownstone I've been inside of is Lady Mendl's, so ofc I had to have an extensive tea setup. Def took a lot of inspo from these two pics alone for these rooms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The main stairwell and picture gallery lead to three large bedrooms on the second floor, and then up to the children's room and nanny's bedroom on the third floor. I really like skylights. I learned the importance of decent lightwells in staving off depression one semester when my window looked out onto a brick wall
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The master bedroom and the children's room above it both have their own private sitting rooms and bathrooms. All rooms have either fireplaces or cast iron radiators.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's no way this is going to be finished by the time For Rent comes out, so im just going to release it in whatever state it's in when it does come out. The exteriors and interior room layout for all the townhomes will (hopefully) most likely be set by then anyway.
Now available for download!
Also the anniversary of Chez Cromwell is coming up! Ive been gone for the better part of the year due to starting a new job, but I havent been idle. C.Cromwell has been updated for infants and ceilings, which led to me redoing the exterior and almost every room, so a rerelease is coming v soon! Sneak peek below. Happy Thanksgiving!

Why Is Brand TermiPore Considered
The Most Technically Reliable System For Anti-Termite Reticulation?
For a host of very valid reasons, major ones being:
TermiPore Pipes do not block even in cement.
TermiPore is the only reticulation pipe that has the distinction of successfully passing the lab-tests of: ESCR, RoHS & Accelerated Weathering
TermiPore can endure any type of frequently used pesticide without deteriorating, getting blocked or slackening flow rate.
Stringent mechanism for Quality Control
TermiPore Pipes do not block even in cement:
To answer the most frequently asked question by our clients about whether TermiPore gets blocked, we conducted an intensive experiment, and the experiment was repeated more than 50 times. We are happy to share that we got satisfactory results every single time.
Under this, cast various Termipore pipes of various sizes and different batches in cement. They were left in the cast for 20 days, by which time the cement had totally dried and hardened. After that, we injected water through the pipe trapped inside dried cement. Every time, we were delighted to see that the cement was totally wet in a very short time and water was freely oozing from all around and across the cast. You can see a video of this experiment at : https://youtu.be/tNT91s3WTTU and even the pictures below are evidence of our experiments:
Tumblr media
We can confidently say that even cement does not block TermiPore. The credit goes to our culture of innovation & that helped us develop a special raw material of elastomeric compound. Also, our design ensures a consistent flow rate since we have incorporated more than 100 pressure operated microholes/mtr, all across and around every TermiPore pipe. However as precaution, please install reticulation pipes on a bed of sand and avoid contact with cement as far as possible. These experiments were conducted to assure our clients of TermiPore quality. For more details, visit: (insert link of installation)
TermiPore is the only reticulation pipe that has the distinction of successfully passing the lab-tests of: ESCR, RoHS & Accelerated Weather Test:
We believe in on-going research, development & testing to innovate, upgrade, enhance & preserve the high quality of our products. We even got 3rd party testing done, to assess the strength and durability of TermiPore Pipes. Our pipes underwent the following laboratory tests:
RoHS: TermiPore is not hazardous since it is compliant with standards of RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
ESCR: TermiPore has successfully cleared the test of Environmental Stress-Crack Resistance (ESCR). After being tested for 300 hrs, it was established that TermiPore pipes are very sturdy and will not degenerate even in harsh conditions.
Accelerated Weather Test: Even after exposure to 50 degrees centigrade, there was no cracking, puncture, rigidity or loss of flow rate in the pipes.
All these reports prove without doubt that TermiPore Pipes are sturdy, durable, long-lasting and reliable.

You can read more about this at: https://termipore.blogspot.com/2023/01/termipore-only-reticulation-pipe-lab.html
TermiPore can endure any type of frequently used pesticide without deteriorating, getting blocked or slackening flow rate.
One of our on-going experiments was to test the effect of IS Standard 6313 recommended chemicals Fipronil (emulsion concentrate) and Imidacloprid (suspension concentrate) on our reticulation pipes.
The experiment was done in for ways. We submerged 3 main sizes (14.5 mm, 17.5 mm and 19.5 mm) of our reticulation pipes in (a) Fipronil, (b) Imidacloprid, (c) water and one sample set was left drying in air. We compared the 4 sets after every few weeks.
For more details, click: https://youtu.be/pYia62Ok2Fo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We checked all the main parameters i.e.: blockage, flowrate, cracks, degradation, hardening, etc. We are happy to share the positive results the 2 sets of TermiPore Pipes submerged in chemicals performed the same as the other 2 sets in water and air. There was no deterioration, and the flow rate was consistent too.
Due to all the research and testing, we can confidently say that the performance & durability of TermiPore Pipes, will not get affected by termiticides.
Stringent mechanism for Quality Control
Furthermore, we also have a very good system to ensure quality control. We have a prescribed testing mechanism for 9 quality parameters for each roll, before despatch.
Due to all this and a lot more, we undeniably claim TermiPore is a Comprehensive Anti-Termite Reticulation System, not just any pipe
Install TermiPore Anti-termite Reticulation System and protect your property from termites and avoid any damage and loss on account of destruction due to termites.

Bug of the Day
This funky dude is a reticulated beetle, Cupes capitatus. I think this shot is a good view of where the family gets its name - reticulated refers to the lattice-like pattern on the wing covers (technical entomonerd verbiage: "clathrate elytra"). But also, that shrunken nugget of a head is hilarious to me LOL.

Animal of the Day!
Reticulated Siren (Siren reticulata)
Tumblr media
Conservation Status- Unlisted
Habitat- Southeastern United States
Size (Weight/Length)- 60 cm
Diet- Insects; Small crustaceans
Cool Facts- The reticulated siren, outside of having an awesome name, is the largest aquatic salamander. Not described until 2018, these sirens are iconic for their eel-like body and leopard-like spots. There is little known about reticulated sirens simply due to being discovered so recently. Like many species of amphibian, these salamanders are believed to be an indicator species that help to identify the health of their environment. There are future studies planned to further understand the reticulated siren’s behavior, life history, and population size.
Rating- 13/10 (The only siren that truly matters during MerMay.)
