anyone: what?
boyle: yeah, me and jake are like a vault. no one else will know

Lucifer, as the Old Dragon
Lucifer, and all of his angels with him, had been punished by God to exist as a mindless, writhing mass with the bodies of those that survived melded with the corpses of so many that died on impact. Only Lucifer remained fully conscious and aware of himself, tortured by their fate and all the pain of the bodies he was now attached to. Seeing the divine but formless mass, Hell was enchanted - in particular, it saw the beauty of Lucifer as its shining core, so radiant even in ashes, and so it made a body for him, for them. The first work coming as an unknowing collaboration between God and Hell, it crafted Lucifer into a great serpentine form - his halo it repurposed as a face, building up oil-slick skin and displaying Lucifer as its centerpiece in great joy. It grew into them, the walls and brutally frozen lake of Cocytus trapping them all as much as Michael's chains and lodged spear, while its own mass mingled with the bodies of angels. The remains of those lost now bleed eternally from its belly, failing to revive despite Hell's best efforts.

***This is just a 24-second WIP*** the final version will be longer obviously XD
I started making this Tangled amv animatic after listening to "At All Costs" from Wish, because I felt the song fit a scenario from one of my Tangled AUs really well. I knew that it wasn't a love song, but I was willing to settle since the song was weirdly intimate-sounding??? I still haven't seen the movie but can we all agree this song is extremely love song-coded?
So I was originally gonna use the film version sung by Ariana DeBose and Chris Pine, even if the context of the song as used in the film is by no means romantic.
then I listened to that demo they released a month ago.
Then I was even more confused because it's literally even MORE love song-coded??! Like the final version's lyric "promise as one does" was originally "love you as one does" in the demo. ?????? HUH
So apparently I was RUGHT and it WAS originally written as a love song. My guess is it was originally meant to be song by Asha and the scrapped Star Prince character from the movie's deleted romance subplot, which makes me so sad now because you mean to tell me that they wrote a banger love song for a plot that got surgically removed from the film, THEN they had to repurpose the song to work in the context of the final film as duet between the protagonist and the antagonist???? I'm praying for you Julia Michaels i am so sorry you tried so hard to please the mouse. I hope to do your demo version justice by using it for its original intended purpose to satisfy my New Dream brainrot

My Guide to Patch/Crust DIY Pants That No One Asked For:
(If you see this guide go through changes, you’re not crazy, I update it all the time)
I’ve noticed that my DIY pants had been noticed on here, so I’d thought I make a guide for new punks getting into the scene 💖
I’ve been in the punk scene for a little over two years now, so don’t take everything I say to heart, I’ve got lots to learn.
Typically, you want to start out with a good base. For instance, the pants you choose can make or break your project. I don’t suggest buying super expensive pants, but don’t buy them super low quality either. You want something that lasts, as crust or patch pants are meant to be your only pair.
EDIT: Before I start any new project, I look around my stuff to see if I can repurpose anything. Old T shirts, bed sheets, bags, you name it. It’s so much easier to repurpose your stuff before buying new things, and you save money doing it. Before you buy pants, see if you can find a pair you already own! I had to buy new ones because I only had one other pair of jeans that I wear to work.
I’ve seen some tutorials floating around for DIY can spikes. Please be very careful doing this. If you’re moshing in a vest made with cut up aluminum, you can seriously hurt someone if you’re not careful. Be on the safe side and either borrow/buy pre made studs and spikes or save the DIY can spikes for non-moshing vests/pants/cuffs.
If you’re moshing with any studs or spikes at ALL, they should be blunt!!!
Good places to buy pants
Thrift (it’s a bit of a crapshoot if you have a hard time finding sizes, but if they’ve lasted long enough to end up in a thrift store, then it means they’re more likely good quality. Check the tags!!)
Edited above, been informed of how Goodwill treats disabled employees
ASOS (I recommend if you have a hard time finding your size. I can’t guarantee the sustainability of this site though.)
Mercari (Like an online goodwill. I find a lot of awesome clothes on here. You can download the app.)
Depop (I seldom shop on here, but similar to Mercari with a wider range of brands.)
How the Pants Should Fit
The fit of your pants can also affect how they lay on you. I suggest buying pants slightly larger on you, if you’re covering them in patches. When you start sewing, you’re going to find that they’re going to shrink a little bit. So please avoid tight fitting jeans if you can! Straight or relaxed fit are the best.
EDIT: If skinny/fitting pants are all you got, sometimes making relief cuts at the knees help when you try to bend down.
Patches
Patches are going to be what makes your pants unique! There’s quite a few you can choose from: plain patches, band patches, politics patches, etcetera. If you’re going to cover the entirety of your pants, I suggest going to Joann’s or Michaels (fuck Hobby Lobby) for fabric. Buy a yard or two canvas or pleather (or both). Otherwise, I usually cut up old T-shirts for my fabric.
How to Make Your Own Patches
Stencil (very straightforward, here’s a guide) (please check out Anarchostensilism on insta/Tiktok/Deviantart)
Paint (Buy white/black stencil fabric paint. I don’t suggest acrylic, since it’s not made to move with fabric)
Where to Buy Pre Printed Patches
crustpunks.com (Hella good, fast shipping, affordable!! Made by punks for punks)
nuclearwasteunderground.com (I found this one randomly)
Etsy (While I hate them for the way they treat their sellers, unfortunately this can be a main source of income for some.)
Shows, punk meets, friends
If you’re going to make crust pants, it’s imperative that you have crust bands on your patches, that’s what makes them crust! (Apart from never washing them)
Edit: I would do your own research on the crust punk subculture, there’s a lot of discourse out there on what makes punks crust punks and so on.
Washing your pants is not a black and white rule, but you can ruin the integrity of your work if you carelessly throw them in the washer. Like if you were to throw a suede jacket into the washer, there’s certain steps to take!
Here’s an enlightening guide on crust.
Here’s some crust band recs!
Nausea
Anti Cimex
Dystopia (my favorite)
disrupt
Doom
Heresy
Discharge
Amebix
Things to Add to Your Pants
Buttons (you can buy or make your own. Here’s a guide for DIY bottle cap buttons)
Pockets (easy to monkey wrench with a few spare patches, but here’s a pattern)
Handkerchiefs (the hankey code, much like the lace code, is pretty much dead. But it’s up to you if you want to signal something with it.)
Wallet chains (here’s a cool guide to making your own!)
Bum flap (by far the coolest thing on this list. Makes your ass not hurt when you sit on the sidewalk. Here’s a video)
Make them convertible (I made mine into zip off shorts. Here’s a video)
I made this up, but I added removable knee pads to mine.
Pant Inspiration
Have no shame in taking reference! Here’s are some cool accounts with awesome pants!

Cooking à la replicator
Tumblr media
Chapter 7.6 of the semi-canonical STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION TECHNICAL MANUAL by Rick Sternbach and Michael Okuda includes a description of how the replicators work that offers some interesting background for how people in the TNG era might approach food and cooking in the era of replication technology.
The first and most important point is that the molecular patterns replicators use to recreate objects are a form of compressed storage, akin to a compressed audio or image file. The text explains:
Because of the massive amount of computer memory required to store even the simplest object, it is impossible to record each molecule individually. Instead, extensive data compression and averaging techniques are used. Such techniques reduce memory storage required for the molecular patterns by factors approaching 2.7 x 10^9. The resulting single-bit inaccuracies do not significantly impact the quality of most reproduced objects, but preclude the use of replicator technology to re-create living objects. … The data themselves are subject to significant accuracy limits.
So, a replicator pattern is an approximation of the original object, just as a JPEG image scanned from a 35mm negative is only an approximation of the original negative. Data compression issues also mean that there are tradeoffs between imaging fidelity, memory storage requirements, and the power required for replication. The text notes:
There are two main replication systems on board the Enterprise. These are the food synthesizers and the hardware replicators. The food replicators are optimized for a finer degree of resolution because of the necessity of accurately replicating the chemical composition of foodstuffs. Hardware replicators, on the other hand, are generally tuned to a lower resolution for greater energy efficiency and lower memory matrix requirements. A number of specially modified food replication terminals are used in sickbay and in various science labs for synthesis of certain pharmaceuticals and other scientific supplies.
The chapter doesn't specifically discuss how these things impact food and food preparation, but there's enough information to infer a number of additional points:
There is a quantifiable difference between replicated and non-replicated food, and probably a qualitative one as well. A fresh apple is not identical to a replicated copy of that apple, so we can surmise that beings with sufficiently sensitive palates could probably tell the difference. Furthermore, a fair number of people would probably insist that they could tell the difference, whether they actually could or not!
The range of foods that can be replicated has significant practical limits. In order to replicate something, you need either a preexisting molecular pattern or an extant example you can scan. Furthermore, because each pattern is resource-intensive to store, a given system can really only retain a finite number of patterns. So, for rare, exotic, or unusual foodstuffs, no molecular pattern may be available, and finding a molecularly scannable example might be difficult.
Because of the "single-bit inaccuracies," generation loss is likely an issue, so replicating replicated food will produce a qualitatively worse result (although each first-generation replicated copy of the same pattern is theoretically identical).
The difference in replicator resolution probably has many gradations. For instance, a food replicator included in a shuttlecraft survival kit might be tuned for the lowest resolution that's still safe for foodstuff preparation, to conserve power, while replicators used for synthesizing pharmaceuticals in sickbay might have somewhat higher resolution than the ones in the mess hall.
So, what does this mean for TNG-era cooks like Benjamin Sisko and his dad? Some guesses:
Chefs might use specialized ultra-high-resolution replicators, either ones specifically designed for culinary use or repurposed ultra-high-res replicators from some other application (like a pharmaceutical replicator), to produce higher-quality replicated foodstuffs.
Cooks and bakers may prefer to replicate raw materials and then prepare them the old-fashioned way. For instance, it would probably make more sense for a baker to have replication patterns for different kinds of flour, eggs, sugar, etc. than to try to image and store complete breads and cakes, since the same ingredients could be used to create many different finished products.
People undoubtedly still cook with non-replicated ingredients where they can get them, and probably routinely combine replicated and non-replicated ingredients. An apple pie made with fresh-picked apples and replicated flour and sugar is probably still better than a wholly replicated pie.
There might be a whole genre of cookbooks focused on cooking with replicated food, aimed specifically at working around the impact of resolution-related "single-bit inaccuracies" on how food tastes.
People probably have strong opinions about the impact of replication, such as which foods or drinks can't be satisfactorily replicated, and the pros and cons of different replicated and non-replicated foodstuffs.
People on starships probably occasionally try to make food or beverages with the sickbay replicators, insisting that it tastes better that way.

April 7, 2024: The First Line is the Deepest, Kim Addonizio
The First Line is the Deepest Kim Addonizio
I have been one acquainted with the spatula, the slotted, scuffed, Teflon-coated spatula
that lifts a solitary hamburger from pan to plate, acquainted with the vibrator known as the Pocket Rocket
and the dildo that goes by Tex, and I have gone out, a drunken bitch,
in order to ruin what love I was given,
and also I have measured out my life in little pills—Zoloft,
Restoril, Celexa, Xanax.
I have. For I am a poet. And it is my job, my duty to know wherein lies the beauty
of this degraded body, or maybe
it's the degradation in the beautiful body, the ugly me
groping back to my desk to piss on perfection, to lay my kiss
of mortal confusion upon the mouth of infinite wisdom.
My kiss says razors and pain, my kiss says America is charged with the madness
of God. Sundays, too, the soldiers get up early, and put on their fatigues in the blue-
black day. Black milk. Black gold. Texas tea. Into the valley of Halliburton rides the infantry—
Why does one month have to be the cruelest, can't they all be equally cruel? I have seen the best
gamers of your generation, joysticking their M1 tanks through the sewage-filled streets. Whose
world this is I think I know.

Poetry nerd extra credit: How many repurposed bits from famous poems can you find? I count 7 and I'm probably missing some!

WOOO!! Rough Henry design LMAO bonus mini comic thing, BC why not
Y'all try on your mates glasses too, right?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-- Notes under the cut --
- He never shaves his moustache LMAO he does his beard, tho.
- Along with William, he needs glasses to see, but his eyesight is dramatically worse then Wills LOL
- The design is like-- sorta a combo of Henry's Novel and Character files design BSBSVSVSV
- This is his work attire, he wears suitable clothes for engineering ofc
- His wife left 🫡 as to why is unknown. They never fought to the extent of her leaving, but she left Henry behind one day, and Charlie. Charlie constantly thinks about it, but all she and Henry know, is Henry's wife left on good terms.
- Henry was the one to sing "my grandfather's clock" to Charlie as she grew up. Charlie was so fixated over the song, she would hum or sing it whenever they passed a Grandfather clock at the shops. Eventually, Henry created a smaller then average grandfather clock as a gift. This is why it calms the puppet.
- Henry has a habit of getting stressed and frustrated if work isn't going the way he wants. He doesn't lash violently out but he does request quiet and loneliness if he gets too heated. He has a personal punching bag in his shed.
- He originally created Carnie which later was repurposed into Lefty.
- After Charlie's death, he fell into severe depression. He drank heavily and it wasn't until he was confronted by Michael again, that he started seeing a therapist. He is still on edge alot and suffers from his mental health.
-- Relationships --
William:
- His relationship with William is very close lol romantically involved? No clue. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, I seriously haven't decided, just like I haven't decided with Mike and Jeremy lmao
- Henry is William's crutch. He feels jealousy toward him, but ultimately relies on him most of the time after his own wife left (on bad terms). Henry doesn't mind, though.
- William is considered family to Henry.
- He is also the one to discover Williams corpse inside springbonnie and decided to board up every single safe room. Yikesssssss
- Strangely, Springtrap doesn't act violent toward Henry. He stares just- silently. Watching.
Charlie:
- Loves his daughter more than anything in the world.
- He passionately encourages Charlie's path in wood work after discovering her love for wooden crafts like the aforementioned Grandfather clock and various types of Puppets. Sometimes, if supervised, Henry hands her a block of wood and tools and lets her craft away. She finds peace in wood calving and Henry's utterly joyful.
- He struggles to recognise the Puppet as his own daughter, and unknowingly put her through so much pain when being caught by Lefty. It was only after the capture did he find out that of course the puppet is possessed by his daughter 😭 he just thought it was possessed by a very vengeful ghost. He didn't know that ghost possesed Golden Freddy, and that's why he's not in FNAF Pizzaria Simulator :')
Michael:
- He's on edge around Mike. He reminds him too much of Will.
- After Crying Child and Elizabeth died, aswell as Charlie's murder and William disappearing (he got spring locked rip), Michael lived with Henry shortly before disappearing himself. (He went to the SL bunker.)
- Henry looks after post-scooped Michael.
- Henry doesn't anticipate Mike to be the one to work at the Pizzaria Sim location-- but he knows this is where he wants to be.

Let's go on a "Tig Moment" treasure hunt by u/so_fkn_dn
Let's go on a "Tig Moment" treasure hunt Our Saint Meghan, the unrivalled creative talent who draws parallels no sane person could ever conceptualise, came up with the ingenious title of her blog The Tig after a world-shattering epiphany during a session of wine drinking:"It wasn’t just red or white–suddenly I understood what people meant by the body, legs, structure of wine. It was an ah-ha moment at its finest. For me, it became a 'Tig' moment–a moment of getting it. From that point on, any new awareness, any new discovery or 'ohhhhh, I get it!' moment was a 'Tig' moment."Well, folks, after discovering Meghan's Tig archives for myself, I'm literally having one "Tig" moment after another here!! From her multiple references to Oprah to her professed "love of all things Brit", her post about Michael Bublè and her repurposed Archetypes anecodotes, it seems Madame left quite a trail of crumbs on her blog (plus enough typos and misused vocabulary to turn into a fun drinking game). For anyone game enough to trawl through her embarrassingly teenage Tumblr style posts, share your own "ah-ha!" - I mean, "Tig!" - moments below.https://ift.tt/Ap74ZoV post link: https://ift.tt/4sLdRNS author: so_fkn_dn submitted: March 10, 2024 at 03:28PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. Ya know what, have some Cassie being Michael's daughter ideas that I'm not drawing for now. (Working on a tiny animatic with him and Gregory.)
In regards to the AR Bonnie lunchbox line: "Bonnie was my dad's favourite."
Foxy is still Michael's favourite but Cassie thinks he's only saying that because he's embarrassed about liking Bonnie. She thinks he's his favourite because of how much he talks about "that rabbit" with Grandad Henry.
(This is an idea I definitely want to draw) Michael was a large part of the design process for the Glamrocks so when it came to repurposing Foxy into Roxy (that headcanon goes for my AU) he got a lot of input from Cassie. Using her favourite colours and brave personality. Not all of his ideas stuck but he had fun designing her with his daughter. Henry watches to the side lovingly remembering how Michael helped him a long time ago design a brand new fox animatronic to join Freddy and the gang…
After Michael helps Gregory achieve the Vanny ending (he also discovers burntrap/mimic but I'll talk about that another time) he offers to let them stay at his place as he knows it'll be safe and he can get Freddy's head charged. (He grows to like him during the events of Security Breach). Mike goes to wake up Henry to let him know about the situation but Cassie is also awoken. She sneaks downstairs to see what's going on and immediately recognises Gregory. When Michael and Henry come back into the room, Michael and Gregory are so confused.
"That's your cool dad?"
"He's the nice kid that cheered you up on your birthday?"
Cassie doesn't know much about Michael's history. She knows Henry adopted Michael, she had an aunt and an uncle who passed away when they were children and Michael and Jeremy knew each other from years ago.
Cassie doesn't know about the scoop situation. Michael's cover story is that he has a form of necrosis that won't kill him but did mess him up. Luckily the concept of him still being able to see despite having fake eyes isn't something she's thought about too much.
Cassie is very defensive when she hears people make comments about Michael's appearance. And she always makes sure to tell him that he's one of her favourite colours. (He wishes he was her other favourite colour. Green is better than purple in his eyes.)
Cassie doesn't know how old Michael is but thinks he's somewhere in his late thirties.
It wasn't unsurprising when Cassie took an interest in Freddy's. She was surrounded by it in her everyday life. Michael was at first opposed to her having to do anything with the actual locations, birthday parties and stuff… but he'd seen what had happened when a parent was strict on what their child could be around. (Obviously the situation is completely different to Elizabeth's but Michael will assume the worst.)
Cassie has no knowledge about William and Mrs Afton, only that Michael had biological parents. And Michael would prefer it if it stayed that way. Cassie is curious but she's happy with her family so there's no need to push it.
Michael's accent isn't as thick as it used to be but Cassie tries to replicate it all the time. She's not very good at it but it makes Michael laugh.
Michael feels bad because Cassie likes practicing makeup but she can't really do it on his skin. However, he tells her she can paint his fake eyes instead. His decomposition also stopped before he lost all of his hair and nails so she can style and paint them too. She can reserve the makeup for her Grandad.

hi there, love your channel and diys!! I'm still new to your videos so if you answered this somewhere I missed I apologize, but where do you recommend sourcing chains for jewelry/belts etc? Most places I've looked only sell in bulk and as I'm only making stuff for myself right now and don't have irl crafting friends to share materials with it feels too costly/wasteful to buy a ton of chain. Thank you for your time!!
Hi! Most of my chain is thrifted / inherited from when my brother was into warhammer lol (I don’t know where he got it but it was over 20 years ago so I don’t know if that’s still a thing)
For thrifting chain, if you want small chain, look through the jewelery section! You can disassemble jewelry to repurpose :-) For bigger chain, I reccomend looking in the pet section, I find a lot of dog leashes / chain collars that can be re purposed for DIY, watch out as it can be heavy , so use sparingly / with the knowledge it’ll be heavy :-)
You can also get it craft stores like Michaels but it’s kinda expensive (but if you download the Michaels app you can get discounts :)
Good luck enjoy crafting! (And anyone else with advice is encouraged to add on as usual!)

One of your recent asks got me thinking, what is going to happen when V2 eventually hits its own expiration? How will Michael feel or what could he possibly do in this scenario?
i like to think michael and v2 tend to be much more...well-prepared for this eventuality than gabriel and v1 were. they're not sure how long v2 can go, given that through hell's meddling it's essentially cheated death, but it likely also isn't forever. however, v2 is aware of this and, again contrary to v1, is much better at not getting stuck on existentialist dread and instead working on a solution to its death. they both know it may be inevitable, but in the same way v2 takes up a lot of research in helping michael maintain his body, michael learns to be quite a skilled mechanic and v2 likely becomes something of a ship of theseus with the two consistently replacing its parts (michael becomes highly adept at modifying scrap - with the help of access to heaven's forge - to copy v2's parts). this does lead v2 to question its identity at some points, stemming all the way back to its original reconstruction, but it comes to the conclusion that this may just be the nature of the machine...or perhaps of living far beyond one's life expectancy.
v2 knows its mind is the most delicate part of itself though, a perfectly balanced quantum computer that must be maintained as the core part of itself because there's no scrap that can replace it in any other machine. this was the point of failure for v1 as well, and they're pretty doubtful hell would be feeling generous a second time. in a timeline where v2 continues to survive, i like to think it's maintained itself much better than v1 and so observes all that happens with it when it dies including its subsequent resurrection, inspiring it and michael in a likely similar capacity. to build a quantum computer, but one augmented by the divine, engineered by v2 and constructed in the heavenly forge by michael with both collaborating on the alignment of the crystal structure within it. v2 understands its own configuration and how to improvement upon it, while michael's knowledge of esoteric mathematics allow them to build a computer powered by the divine. uriel's knowledge base proves invaluable for this endeavor and it takes quite some time (many, many failures in prototyping, plus likely having the realization they'll need to also construct a more heavenly shell given that this computer would melt repurposed scrap lol), but i enjoy v2 being the first divine computer. importantly, this isn't a shift like v1's, who is now essentially part angel, part machine - v2's is subtler, still entirely a machine but now running on perfect, godly equations. it almost has a hard time keeping up with itself at first but it isn't put off by it since it was once a machine that was too human, so now it's a machine too divine.
however, i will add that in the event v2 reached the end of its lifespan, i think michael would seek his comfort in the idea that he cannot possibly last forever either. he knows he will die, he knows he will reach his end too, and v2 has proven, at least in his mind, that it has a soul. he would commit it to the earth, where it was born and what it had always wanted to protect, and he would join it there when he finally felt himself wilting. maintaining his faith as he does, michael would truly believe v2 is waiting somewhere for him, that the code woven by that computer is no different from DNA, that the mind it housed, all its emotions, its thoughts, its consciousness, had given it a spark of the divine. that humanity, from god, had passed down their soul to this grandchild of creation. its place is not in heaven or hell, but somewhere he doesn't know yet, somewhere finally fully beyond the physical where it doesn't need a body or blood. he's not sure if that means he's at last given into some kind of heresy, but he will continue to pray each day, asking v2 to help guide him when he finally joins it.

As Gernsback's example had shown, it was useful for a pulp or magazine publisher to create multiple publishing companies, and most did so. When trouble arose, one company could be placed into bankruptcy and have its intellectual property bought out by one of the publisher's other companies. The purchaser company would then be legally shielded from responsibility for paying the debts of the bankrupt company (even though the editors stayed the same, as did the office addresses). Those unpaid debts included money owed to the hapless writers, some of whom were already getting a bad deal by being paid "upon publication" instead of "upon acceptance." Payment upon publication forced writers to wait weeks and months for their payments, with no guarantee that their work would ever see print. It was a delaying tactic that allowed publishers to build and manage inventory at no cost while holding onto their money longer—maybe even long enough to see the debt discharged in bankruptcy. A more insidious practice was (to use a modern term) to "repurpose" an author's work: present it as original material by changing the title and the character's names—and stripping away the original copyright notice. The trade magazines of the late 1920s and early 1930s are overflowing with complaints from writers who had been so victimized. One of the chief practitioners of such dirty dodges was Harry Donenfeld, the future publisher of DC Comics, the main rival of Marvel Comics to this day.
—Blake Bell and Dr. Michael J. Vassallo, The Secret History of Marvel Comics (Fantagraphics, 2013): pg. 18.
Martin Goodman, founder of Marvel Comics, would do the same:
It took two years, but on January 5, 1942, the FTC slammed both Goodman and Silberkleit for deceptively reprinting stories as new fiction, substituting new titles for the original titles, changing the names of characters and, "without obtaining the sanction or authorization of the authors of stories, [substituting] pseudonyms or so-called 'house names' for the authors' names or pen names." They were also sanctioned for stripping the original copyrights and claiming the work as their own.
Over the next two decades, three more FTC judgments against Goodman would follow. (Ibid., pg. 28-29.)
Gernsback, it's worth noting, is Hugo Gernsback, publisher of Amazing Stories and namesake of the Hugo Awards. Silberkleit is Louis Silberkleit, the L in MLJ Magazines, the precursor of Archie Comics.
