Card 1 - Page Of Swords - Upright

Upright, this card means Talkativeness, Energy, Thoughtfulness, Curiousity and Truthfulness.
Youre a thoughtful person, youre easy to talk to, right now youre curious about things and want to know how things play out. You've got a youthful energy to you and that might currently be influencing your outlook on things.
you're smart and know how to work your way around things and pick up where you left off on things, where you failed before you know the solution and can succeed now.
You're an inspiration to yourself and those around you, a motivator so to speak, just for being able to work hard and keep at it but also because youre such a positive person and space for others.
Card 2 - Four Of Wands - Upright
"The Four of Wands represents rejoicing and festivities." - Yoshi Yoshitani guidebook.
Upright, this card talks about reunion, success, pride, happiness and family.
This card wants you to look back on your past successes and be proud of yourself for how far you've come. be proud of all that you've overcome and accomplished. You've done it before you'll do it again.
It sort of goes in hand with the last card, where you may have failed in the past you'll do better now, just like you've always done, and you should take pride in this.
This card talks about a well deserved celebration and celebrating your past success and current journey and triumphs is a well worth and well earned rejoice for sure.
Card 3 - Eight Of Coins - Reversed
"The Eight Of Coins represents the long haul, the slough in the middle of a project that needs to be completed." - Yoshi Yoshitani guidebook.
Reversed, this card mentions Repetition, poor quality, rushing and bad reputation.
This card sounds like a warning not to rush yourself through your work or the outcome will be a sacrifice of the quality, if you want good reviews of the fruits of your labour in the near future its best you keep putting care and time into it rather than just shove your way through it all. Getting it done right and honestly is better than getting it over with sooner and cutting corners.
where some might interpret this card that speaks of the future as a bad outcome or failed end, its much more like a warning that if you want that good end you need to keep going. It'll come but you need to work for it, dont cheat your way through it and dont repeat your past mistakes.
You have the ability to keep doing better but in order to do that you need to be honest with yourself. this card is very much adding onto the last two card's discussion, taking what they said and building on it with a little caution.
Card 4 - The Devil - Reversed
"The Devil gives into the ego, lusting for unnecessary or harmful things, unwilling to leave negative situations." - Yoshi Yoshitani guidebook
Reversed, this card mentions release, enlightenment, power reclaimed, divorce and moving on.
I'm hearing this card elaborate and expand on the previous card's warning. You need to be aware of your past mistakes, know your temptations, know what's not good for you like your bad habits, and work away from them. dont give in and continue to do better.
Dont listen to your negative thoughts, listen to the positives and focus on those. your situation and/or mindset is currently influenced but all these things around you and the more aware you are the easier it'll be to improve for yourself.
Dont rush, dont cheat it, dont neglect, instead, care and nurture. this may mean yourself, your work or both.
Card 5 - Ace of Wands - Reversed
"The Ace of Wands represents inspiration, a sudden creative force." - Yoshi Yoshitani guidebook.
Reversed, this card mentions delays, bad news, a creative block and wasted talent.
you have a lot of potential, youre a very creative person and use that to your advantage, but right now youre at a block in that road. you have the ability to bypass that block, you just need to figure out what that is so you can use it.
you might need a new outlet to help you find the solution to your block, take a brake and find something new to do then come back to the block with a fresh mind.
you can do it, you just need to let yourself. by staying stuck and letting stubbornness keep you still youre being your own delay, youre not letting that potential out to shine. you need to take a step back, look after yourself and take a proper break so you can come back with a clear head to let it out.
its kind of hard to show how good you are at something if youre stressed out and frustrated over it, take a breather first and inspiration will hit.
Review and conclusion: my final thoughts.
A TLDR
The entire reading tells me youre smart, youre clever, intuitive, and determined. youre doing really well right now work wise but at the risk of neglecting yourself and your mental health.

okay tumblr’s exclusion from the twitter social media ban list is hilarious but genuinely we do not belong on there. if a real human person asks “where can i find you on social media” and your choice is a swift death or revealing your tumblr, most of us would simply expire. half of y’all change urls every week like you’re in witness protection. just imagine for one second attaching your wholeass government name to your latest two am clownposting and tell me that didn’t send a cold chill down your spine. the only place i ever want to see the words “connect with me on tumblr!” is on the ao3 profile of an author i’m actively stalking. anyone in the world can follow me except anyone i personally know. antisocial media.

I think it's mean how some people talk about fics on AO3.
'Oh you gotta wade through literal trash to find the good stuff'.
Were you not a beginner once? Did you not write crack fic or self indulgent things for your own entertainment?
Maybe don't speak that way about your fellow fic writers? Just because some fics aren't as polished as others, or involve fetishes and tropes you don't enjoy, or are not the style you want your fics to be doesn't mean they're trash.
It's a horrible thing to say and beginners are going to be discouraged from writing knowing that their fics might be considered trash because they're just starting out.

online harassment campaigns are genuinely terrifying and part of why they're terrifying is that they make you feel like you're going insane—especially if they're false, frame you maliciously on purpose or blow things wayy out of proportion—because like. asides from it feeling really fucking bad due to the aforementioned tide of toxic sludge coming your way all at once, you genuinely start to doubt your perception of reality because surely this isn't... right? surely people can tell this isn't real/there's no way this kind of reaction is warranted or deserved, right?
if any of your friends ever go through that the single most helpful thing you can do is reach out to them & be like "jesus christ these people are nuts, are you okay?" PLEASE do, even privately if you're afraid of being dragged in. they'll never thank you enough, it's a literal life raft for their sanity

The brisk wind bit at your nose, and you pulled up your scarf, trying to keep away the offending wind. Around you it was a winter wonderland, all made possible in the temperate conditions thanks to Cater, who was filming you skating around on the frozen pond’s surface.
“You know,” you hollered, making sure that you caught his attention, “you should join me! It’s fun!” You came to a stop by the pond’s edge, where Cater was standing with a large thermos.
Cater just shot you a wink, handing you the thermos. “This is for you though, silly!”
He was deflecting, you could tell; behind that bright and cheery smile that he always seemed to wear around others, you knew when there was something off with Cater. You accepted the thermos though, and took a sip of the spicy apple cider, still piping hot.
You gave him a look and pulled lightly on his coat sleeve. “Yes, but it’s more fun with others, come on Cater!” You stepped back onto the ice, and slowly skated near him, waiting with an eager smile.
He looked at you, and then back at the ice, but he stayed standing in the light snow, shooting you that smile. “But I can’t take photos if I’m out there with you!” He scratched at the back of his neck.
Liar. “Cater,” you looped back around and stepped onto the bank, balancing on your skates, “do you not know how to skate?”
Cater’s smile turned sheepish, and his ‘ahahaha, looks like my gig is up’ chuckle made its appearance. He had been found out. “Never got the chance to,” he hid his face slightly in his scarf, either to keep the cold at bay or to hide that his cheeks were turning pink. “So I’d just slow ya down.”
You took his hand into yours, “Well, I could teach you if you wanted. Just a warning though, you’re gonna fall on your butt a lot, might get a few bruises.”
Cater looked down at your entwined hands. Mittens and gloves separated your skin from touching one another, but Cater could swear that he could feel the sensation nonetheless through the layers of fabric.
“You would? Even if I pull you down with me?”
The last question wasn’t just about the ice skating; Cater didn’t want to force you to do anything that you didn’t want to… and that included being his friend. His heart seemed to whisper stronger emotions though, but he didn’t want to ruin what the two of you had.
You walked him out to the ice, and the both of you swiftly fell down on the ice, hard. But you just laughed and got right back up again, “Well, we did just fall. There isn’t anything scary about falling down; yes it stings and might leave a gnarly bruise, but in order to move forward we have to fall and get back up. So yes, is what I guess I’m saying.”
Cater looked up at you, the sun illuminating you and the snow glittered behind you. You were holding your hand out again, waiting for him. And Cater took your hand.
It took him a while to get the hang of it, and he fell down quite a bit, but every time he fell down you helped him back up. And by the time that the sun was setting in the west, the both of you were cold, and both were going to wake up tomorrow with some bruises. It was fun though, which is all that mattered… but that whisper in Cater’s heart was by now singing, and maybe he would listen to it, but for now, he was happy with how the way things were, and he wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world, especially with how much you had smiled today. Your smile and knowing that you had fun with him was enough.

Ko-Fi requeest for T! day 50!
(they gave me a couple ideas for the prompt too, one of them being a poetry read! i thought it might be cute if instead of snapping they did like. soft little howls)
The second part was extra as a v fun exercise! I think werewolves in general would have a lot of diversity in style and shifted/half-shifted forms so this gave me an excuse to play around with that :) thought I should include a werehyena bc that's the wolf substitute for the shape-shifters of African folklore (and *jaguars in south america, tigers in India, etc!)
Also in doing a little bit of research for Black werewolf characters I found this super cool werewolf comic I wanted to highlight by Michelin Hess, a Black author/artist! She has other work that you should check out too. In fact, feel free to shout out any of your favorite Black artists in the comments or tags! Or let me know the other ways y'all are celebrating this month :)
