there are people already hating on Mobius’s possible wife (it seems like he has a family) because it once again stops their ship

i’m praying for the actor/actress that plays his partner because the fangirls were horrible to Sophia di Martino in s1 (even though she is the cutest person to ever exist)

i’m hoping that mobius has a partner and kids because he gives such a dad vibe and Loki and Sylvie are their aunt and uncle that show up sometimes and definitely teach the kids how to commit crimes but that’s just in my little fantasy

i want mobius to have a husband because it would make some lokius stans go mad (i say some because their definitely really sweet ones out there) as they would finally have to admit they don’t want representation they just want to straight white men two kiss

my theory though is that Ravonna and Mobius are married, at the end of s1 we see that she is working as a school teacher and Mobius seems to sell jet skis (of course he does) and that definitely could be a pairing

i love your parallel between ravonna/mobius and sylvie/loki.

i think sylvie and ravonna are alike in many ways, btw. they just believe in and fight for different things: sylvie - the liberation, ravonna - the order.

they are unrelenting in their pursuit of those goals, no one and no thing could EVER stand in the way of their purpose and life's work.

and i love that. female characters are rarely allowed to be this way.

You're absolutely right, Anon, they SHOULD kiss each other.

We mostly see both women through the eyes their respective men, who fit into that sort of Doing Stuff protagonist role(s) but the Stuff that they are Doing was chosen for them by the women. Ravonna being Mobius's actual boss and Sylvie being the one with the plan that Loki's following along with. You could remove Loki and Mobius from the plot and end up with a final confrontation between Sylvie and Ravonna, but if you take them out of the story the dudes would just be sort of... chillin' in the cafeteria for six episodes? Directionless. I dunno, is it good that the women are the driving forces here or is it bad that even though they are they're still secondary to the Angsty White Men? I welcome any thoughts on that from whoever is reading this post, because I don't know how I feel on that issue really.

Nobody ships Ravonnius (TY for your input on that @sarnakhwritesthings!) so the parallels don't get picked up on much, and both those facts sadden me greatly. But it's the same conflict in their final scenes together, isn't it? That has to mean something. It has to!!! D: D:

Ooh, here's a thing that just occurred to me: Loki and Mobius bond because Mobius spends a fair bit of screentime going over where Loki went wrong, teaching him about the workings of the TVA. At the start the only thing they have in common is that one is a cop and the other is their prisoner, but by the end they find that they're on more or less the same wavelength. Whereas Ravonna and Sylvie are in some ways more obviously alike, but the TVA is of course the thing that sets them against each other and neither of them is willing to budge an inch on any of it, and Ravonna won't even tell Sylvie what caused her original nexus event.

All of this of course means that they should kiss each other.

i honestly thought they were together or something for awhile in s1 bc of the having drinks in renslayers office, the favourite analyst comment, etc. so i do kinda like as them a ship but i don’t really ship it

i do love a good workplace rivalry/colleagues/office partners ship tho and the power dynamic between them is gorgeous. and the fact that their ex partners and ravonna got promoted could make for some great tension between them in fics

I kinda wish marvel would’ve done a love triangle between mobius, ravonna and victor timely/kang/hwr (idk what to call him) instead of the weird thing with miss minutes. like mobius and kang (i’m just gonna call him that) are obviously very different people and would offer her different things in a relationship so it could come down to does ravonna choose kang bc it gives her power over mobius

i like when i see someone somewhere saying "does anyone else think mobius and ravonna had a vibe?" because YES THEY DO HAVE A VIBE I DID NOT JUST INVENT THAT IT'S DEFINITELY A TRUE CANONICAL FACT THAT THEY SECRETLY YEARN FOR EACH OTHER AND/OR THAT THEY SEMI-ACCIDENTALLY KISSED AT SOME POINT.

A Post About Parallels That Probably Needs GIFs But I Can't Do Those So All You’re Getting Is Some Unaltered Screenshots

An argument about Free Will vs the need for an all-powerful oppressive force to maintain the fragile peace breaks the bond between two people who were previously firm allies. She feels that he's betrayed her, he thinks she needs to reconsider her stance on the key issues here. A physical altercation ensues.

Now that she has him in a vulnerable position she could just kill him, and then she'd definitely win this one. And maybe she should. After all, he started it by being Wrong About Everything, and he's the one who turned this into a literal fight to the death, right?

But when it comes right down to it, she just can't bring herself to kill him, and she voluntarily disarms.

She summons a Magic Time Door, and her man is left looking Sad and Tormented by what has occurred. Oh no, Sad Angsty Men! Will they ever see her again? (Tune in next season to find out, I guess.)
