If you really cared about the queer community, you'd eventually understand that the history of our rights hasn't been this long-winded so that you can yell at other young people being openly queer online

You don't like the adjectives they identify with? The pronouns? The nouns? That's a shame, leave them alone and stop assisting the enemy by bullying them online

If you think an identity label that's not known outside of Tumblr is a threat to the queer community, I expect to see you actually fighting back against things in the real world that seriously hurt the community

What I mean when I say I don’t like radinclus or radexclus:

Radinclus: Anyone who says they’re LGBT+/queer, is LGBT+/queer, unquestionably-- no matter how blatantly bigoted or obviously pedantic they’re being. Almost always ends up being inevitably hypocritcal when a particular group they dislike tries to insert themselves into the community (e.g. paraphiles, sometimes kinksters) but fail to recognize that as a form of gatekeeping and exclusion.

Radexclus: The only letters are LGBT and other groups that overlap with our experiences and community shouldn’t be welcomed because of the explicit fact that they aren’t SGA or trans; the general idea that LGBT is about SGA/transness and that the goal across the board is assimilation and not sexual liberation and bodily autonomy. Refusal to acknowledge or attempt to strike a balance between the subject of “limited resources” and “power in numbers”.

Prefix: [vocare-] meaning "to call" or "to summon" in Latin. This is a reference to how a vocareon becomes part of a system. Suffix: [-eon] meaning "age" or "eternity" in Latin. This is a reference to vocareons typically being metaphysical entities.

Detailed description and flags below the cut!

A sysmate, headmate, or member of a plural collective that was summoned into said collective as a subconscious distress call during a traumatic event. Somewhat similar to walk-ins, a vocareon does not come from the system's mind, but rather from an outside source (not to be confused with introjects; vocareons are entirely separate beings that initially have little or nothing to do with the system in question.)

Vocareons can be spirits, deities, or other entities. These entities frequently have some sort of significance to the system they are called to, but not always. Most often, vocareons are "pulled into" the mind of a system due to that system sending out a subconscious call for help while undergoing a trauma. Not all vocareons intend to respond to the distress call, though some do. In many cases, the vocareon is suddenly pulled into the system's mind, which can be very distressing for both the system and the vocareon, regardless of whether or not joining the system was the intention of the entity.

Vocareons may leave the system after the trauma has ended, after the system has recovered from the trauma, or at any time they are able to do so. As such, systems may describe them as temporary headmates or walk-ins/walk-outs. Vocareons who stay in the system after the traumatic event may do so of their own accord, or because they aren't able to leave.

Vocareons may front to act as a buffer for the trauma the system is experiencing. They may also comfort other headmates in-system or protect the system's physical body.

The term vocareon is intended for any plurals that have experienced trauma, regardless of what labels they may use.

In the nicest way possible, do you think nonman is a single gender and not inherently inclusive of an mspec experience?

Mspec lesbians come in many forms, and as you've already accounted for SAM users, I don't need to go over that. But for others, the meaning varies. For me, I am not attracted to men, not sexually (well, not anybody sexually lol), not romantically. Platonic and aesthetic, totally. But as a romantic orientation (and sexual para-orientation) I am a lesbian, exclusively. I only feel attraction to women and various nonbinary genders, and I'm unsure of how I'd feel dating a bigender man but I think it would be alright as long as they were also a woman. But see here, the thing is, "various nonbinary genders" includes people who are separate from being women. This means that, while being fully and exclusively lesbian, it is inherently mspec and to imply otherwise is horribly enbyphobic and misgenders us all

For others that I know, it is an uncertainty. One feels attraction to women, men, and potentially elsegender people, but the attraction to men/attraction to people who are not women (depends on the person) is a lot more infrequent and/or weak, to the point where it's hard to even be sure if it's real attraction. In this sense, a bi lesbian would be somebody who feels like they're on the line between the two, or in a blurry area right between, and they aren't sure which they belong to.

For many... It's reclamation! Lesbian was fully nonexclusive for a long time. The movement that changed that was led by TERFs. It was not the natural progression of language, but a disgusting movement that aimed to remove bi women, trans women, butches, nonbinary people, and transmascs from being lesbians despite them all being historical parts of the community. I get why exclusive lesbians would want their own space and label, but we should have made a new one instead of taking over an existing one and kicking people out. A very small amount of bi people today are retaking their place as lesbians, because they never should have been kicked out in the first place

Also, many people don't like the nonman definition because "nonman" excludes bigender enby people and women from being lesbians just because they're also men. And it has racist origins as a term... It's not inherently wrong to use but many people do dislike it being imposed onto the definition of lesbian as such a large label because of that. I don't hate it, but I think it's kinda a bad definition... I need to rewrite my definition but lesbian is a word that deserves a definition that would make your English teachers proud, because it's such a loaded and beautiful word with so much history and variety in experience.
