Actual play podcast NPC, so actual bard character. Has died twice but has come back just as iconic. In the last season he acquires the “robes of the Resplendent Thespian” which kinda looks like a Shakespeare outfit but in rainbow colours. Just… so very sparkly 

His Pathfinder class is Bard and he loves looking glamorous and casting Prestidigitation on himself. He's a powerful illusionist.

Wilde also used prestidigitation and mundane make-up to cover up the fact that he was suffering from a mysterious curse, and when someone asked if he was alright, he send up a stream of magical fireworks that spelled out "Wilde's fine, stop asking". He also got punched in the nuts by a goblin once.

The first dnd podcast I fully listened to before I started dming was RQG. First of all I was listening to a pathfinder campaign while trying to learn 5th ed rules and that didn’t help. And second of all that means that Alexander J Newall was the mf who pretty much taught me how to dm.

I think that explains most of the things I do.

Re listening to RQGaming and there's a moment in Rome when the group first go through the portal and Sasha almost fails her reflex throw and Grizzop saves her and they have a moment before they save the hostages where he's like you're okay we've got this and then THEY END UP STUVK IN ROME TOGETHER

HELP!!! I NEED TO FIND A FIC

HI!!! i am looking for a fic, i cannot find it anywhere, and i am on the brink of losing my goddamn mind.

please do not judge me for what this fic is or the description i give of it.

this fic is in the rusty quill gaming podcast fandom. it's zolf/azu/hamid in omegaverse (yes yes i know but bear with me). it's set just after hamid and azu get dropped into the quarantine cell in japan, and it's a lot of soft need and self-restraint and worry about consent and support and the most genuine care i have ever read. it is written in character with exactly the anxieties and hesitations and desires the characters would really have. i kid you not, this fic is one of the most beautiful things i have ever read.

unfortunately, i cannot for the absolute life of me remember the fic name or the name of the author. i found it on ao3 some time ago, but it looks like either i'm not using the right search terms or the author has removed it from ao3. (in which case, i truly hope it's okay if i search for it, and that it's still around. i want to respect the author's wishes but i need that fic. i might be being dramatic, but it's what i do best.)

does anyone have any idea what this fic could be??? or where i could find it, or better search terms to use???? (i've already looked on ao3, ff.net, wattpad which was a long shot, and most fanfic archive sites i could find.)

!!Spoilers for RQG!!

Was listening to The Night We Met by Lord Huron and started thinking about how much longer Cel will live than all of the rest of the party… like, they’re only 97, which is about 13% through their lifespan. Barnes went first, they talk about his funeral in the epilogue. Then Azu would have passed because an orc’s lifespan is only 60. She was already getting old and achey in the third epilogue (which made me fucking sob btw). Wilde would have gone after Azu, I don’t think we ever really got an idea of exactly how old Oscar was in the campaign but he’s also just human. Zolf and Hamid would have a decently long time together in the pub after Oscar’s death, but I can’t imagine them spending another 70/80 years together consistently without Oscar. Then Hamid would pass and it would just be Zolf and Cel left. I don’t see them keeping in close touch unless they’ve bonded over losing everyone else or something. Of course people come in and out of Cels life, they live a really really long time, but within the context of the song, eventually they are the last one left of the party. Just like- “ I had all and then most of you, some and none of you, take me back to the night we met, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do, haunted by the ghost of you” while the party slowly ages and passes away and Cel is just there, aging so so slowly until it’s only them left, middle aged and alone.

(They wouldn’t be completely alone, obvs, because they’re sociable and friendly and stuff, but like, in the context of the party.)
