Nahil prided himself as the ideal doctor. He had a long list of patients under his belt. Medicine was his lifeblood. He poured thousands and thousands of hours into meticulously honing his skills and knowledge on the human body.

However that led little to no room in progressing his skill with communication. Actually conversing with his patients. Despite his perfect streak with diagnoses and treatments, when it came down to talking? He was absolutely lost.

“Doctor Amin~ I’m here for my monthly check-up”

You, on the other hand, are a total communication expert in his eyes. You made it seem so easy, so effortless. Throughout his time with you as a resident and eventually a proper medical practitioner, you taught him so much. Made him a lot more comfortable with speech — and heck, other people in general — in ways you were not even aware of.

“Annual. You chose to make it a monthly endeavor, Mx. [L/N].”

“Oof cold as ever. Just how I like you.”

What he did not understand was how you could be so kind, so flirtatious, so utterly slutty to him when you already had a significant other.

“Please, save it for when I’m less stressed will you?”

“Fine~!”

It was unfair to both him and your partner. You led him on all these years just to get with someone not even worth your time.

But he had a solution, a solution that’ll both teach you a lesson and give him a taste of you that he’d been yearning for.

All it took is one prick.

because Check, Please! does not have villains, really. he's like... a messy antagonist at the very best. the proper antagonists in Check, Please are, arguably, the protagonist himself and exterior forces (trauma, society, etc) which is why it's so familiar, i guess? you don't need an enemy for life to be hard!

and idk mate, i just think anyone who's survived a codependent homoerotic friendship as a teenager should cut kent parson some fucking slack

feel free to come chat about kent, i always have thoughts and i'm happy to carry the weight of kent parson posting into 2024 if i have to (which at this stage i very much will, i am currently 40k into a bitty/parse fic and he is consuming my every thought)

Like do you say:

Aziraphale, Azi, Zira, Azira, * any of Furfur pronouncements *, Angel, Sunshine, Mr.Fell or something else?

kind of random, but okay. when i'm talking about him, i just call him Aziraphale. but when i'm talking to one of the many Aziraphale rp accounts (on the rare occasion), i'll call him Mr. Fell

I like testament’s speech patterns i need to learn more i need to understand them better theyre such an interesting critter.

#i like when they use old fashioned words. they love saraba. sometimes arigataku.#waga as a possessive pronoun. but not in strive they dont say waga anymore. this is so sad.#how they address kliff varies But Well in ac story mode and a strive voice line its chichiue.#there could be more words i just dont know about…..#they use ga ii a lot when telling people to do things. that might also be considered old fashioned? maybe? maybe.#there are some other things but i dont want to sound like i think i especially know what im talking about.#but also. is it common for characters to use both watashi and zo (ending particle). the formality seems conflicting.#so i kind of assume its like a gender thing. speech androgyny… question mark.#idk. btw they still use zo in strive sometimes but mostly when theyre annoyed lol.#insert ‘autism rant complete’ testament png #the kat goes meow

Does anyone want to explain to me why I can't feel anything

#i mean emotionally #i *literally* do not know what i am feeling to the point of thinking a similar concept to 'nobodys home' in my head and heart #i know i talk about dissociating a lot but i think that this is....depersonalization which feels entirely different and all together worse #i know thats a type of dissociating but its just so confusing and off putting #im trying to hang on thats why im doing my damndest to like research what is happening #and this is all i can come up with #i literally looked at myself in the mirror and felt like my face didnt look like what i think it looks like #looked non familiar in a way #and my eyes looked both wild and sad despite me talking about how im not feeling much #it was uncomfortable and scary #so im trying to do grounding exercises and to allow myself to know its OK that im not all here right now #and that this is temporary and theres nothing to be frightened of #it's a hard sell but i am trying #depersonalisation and derealisation #depersonalization #depersonalisation #insert question marks....if others struggle with this...can you share your experiences with me? as long as theyre not super scary because #i have been really frightened by these feelings lately so i dont wanna be overwhelmed into a panic attack where i really lose connection #yeah and i just am having trouble telling reality vs non reality if im being honest #like i cant....perceive #i cant tell what others emotions are #i can see their actions but i cant perceive what it means beyond that....to the point of thinking it is a ruse #and THATS what's giving me anxiety #or frightening me #i cant tell whats real in some fashion #delete later
