A headcanon of mine where Pyro is some kind of lovecraftian eldritch horror beyond human comprehension inside the suit. one of Chris's attacks is to stick his spear into the ground causing cracks from which one or more plants come out of the ground that immobilizes the rival and thus let Chris attack him without the rival counterattacking like the Hydro bubbles Abyss Mages

Obviously combat is not where he uses his ability, here are some other examples of his uses:

Many times when he sees an animal that was left homeless because the tree it lived in was destroyed Chris uses his ability and makes a new tree grow, it's not big but it makes it enough to make it a suitable home for the creature

Sometimes he creates bird nests out of thin roots, then separates them from the ground and places them where he thinks best for the bird.

When his brother or someone from the crew tries to run from him after playing a prank, he prevents them with this ability.

Chris can create small gardens full of flowers and use the flowers to create gifts but this can get him very tired
