A good chunk of people on here believe in gatekeeping transness more than gatekeeping subculture.

Remember kids, you can tell if someone is punk or poser based on the music they listen to and the politics they hold, and you can tell if someone is goth or not if they listen to Melanie Martinez and mother mother instead of drab majesty and bauhaus.

But you can't tell if someone is Trans or not by what they wear or what they do or who they date.

If someone says they're Trans then take their word for it.

But If someone says they're goth, and they don't know what darkwave means, or if someone says they're punk, and they don't know what straight edge means, then they're lying
