hello.

so, dilemma. i am utterly obsessed with Hobie Brown. and yet i realize that i do not listen to a lot of punk music on the regular bc i don’t know much. but i want to make him a character playlist because that’s what i do!!!

however, i don’t trust that simply searching ‘punk’ on spotify is going to give me authentic punk music or that i’ll be able to sift through the middle schooler playlists that have two actual punk songs on them effectively enough.

so, i have request for punk tumblr. send me music recommendations? whether it’s specific songs, albums, or even an entire band’s discography, i would very much appreciate it. bonus points(!!!) if the artists are queer or people of color bc i am trying So hard to expand my music taste as a former (very!) sheltered white kid who wasn’t allowed to be exposed to queer people so i wouldn’t turn queer (which. Ha.) and learned everything i know from the internet.
