the “im needy” asks can get tiring and annoying af I’m sure. You can’t just be constant soundboard for everyone’s wants and needs and problems. That would psychologically fuck you up. Maybe you could configure your ask inbox in a way so you only receive asks/ keep the inbox open when you are feeling dommy/switchy. Or have 2 inboxes somehow, one for purely friendly convos and one for more sexual stuff, and only keep the sexy one open when you want. That way you control the flow of asks and your psyche can take a break when it needs it. People would still want to talk to you even without the sex element and i guarantee they’d be understanding if you keep your dom inbox closed for periods bc you’re just not feeling it ~ 🍭

first of all, and i’m sure my mutuals can agree on this, writers spend so much time and effort writing stories on here FOR FREE. we put content on this site for others (and mostly for ourselves) to enjoy, and it’s the easiest fucking thing to reblog or comment, AND like our posts to show if you enjoy what we put out. if we were to get zero feedback at all, most of us would probably leave. because yes, likes are nice! they show that someone enjoyed what we created and put on here, and it’s always a great bookmark to return to content at a later time. but feedback (even criticism) is helpful for us to know how we can improve on our content, and let’s us know that people want more of it!! it’s easy, it’s free, it’s nice. if you can’t hit a simple button on your screen when creators kindly say that it’s helpful (and they’ve been saying it since reblogs were a thing), then maybe this isn’t the place for you :)

This is kind of random and I don't really think it's a request, I just felt like it would be cool to see peoples opinions or takes on it.

I feel like because of the way Bucky grew up (during the depression, having to help care for his family, getting drafted, hydra etc...) he never really had a chance to be a kid or anything like that. I saw something somewhere (it might've been tiktok but I don't remember 🙈) and someone had commented how they thought that once Bucky had recovered a bit and was comfortable, that he would definitely be super childish in a playful way, because he never really was able to be like that.

I tried to explain it the best I could, I hope it makes sense! I love your writing by the way and I've been a long time fan of your account. Hope all is well!!!

i’m gonna be completely honest, i’ve thought this exact same thing and i’m so glad someone brought it up.

because it makes sense? bucky didn’t get to experience a stereotypically good childhood. growing up in the depression and having to mature faster to take care of his family? having to suffer through decades of torture on top of that? it makes sense that after he’s taken in by steve and starts to get comfortable that he’d have moments where he felt more vulnerable and where he could let a childish side come out.

hiding behind doors/walls to jump out and scare steve or sam? yes. wanting to play fight a lot? yes. getting super excited to watch certain movies or go to certain places, like a museum or attraction? yes. maybe one day steve even takes him back to coney island and bucky just has a fucking field day: riding rollercoasters, winning stuffed animals, getting ice cream or cotton candy?? just him being able to let go and not be super serious and mature around his close friends all the time makes sense.
