So far your day had been.. eventful. At around three in the morning you woke up to the bed being wet, only to release your water had broke and you were now going into labour.
Quickly waking Chris up beside you he, of course, panicked but then grabbed your bag and carried you to the car. The drive there was funny to say the least: Chris struggling to turn the engine on due to being so excited yet stressed, lil skies immediately blaring through the speakers which he couldn’t seem to shut off. His hand held onto yours the entire journey, looking at you and making sure you were okay every once in a while - making sure you weren’t in pain.
Surprisingly (not really due to the time), the labour was a quick process. You both checked in quick and got a room sorted and before you knew it you had a baby boy and a baby girl in your arms.
After the doctors and nurses cleaned the babies and made sure everything was okay, they left the room to give you and Chris a moment with your new additions.
Chris slowly walked over to the bed you were laying in, watching the babies laying on your chest in awe. “Can, Can I hold him? Then her next?” he asked gently, lifting the baby boy off your chest as you nodded towards him encouragingly. “I don’t wanna hurt him.”
“You won’t, I promise you.” You nodded, placing the boy in his arms so he had no choice but to hold onto him.
He cradled the baby and rocked slightly, his hand hovering over the babies face - scared he’d break such a delicate thing. “Hiya baby, you have your mommy’s nose.” he coo’d, laughing at the newborns features. He slowly eased into the sway, smiling at the boy. “I cannot wait to be your best friend buddy, little Chris Jr.” he whispered the last part causing you to shake your head at the stupid name he teases you with.
You smiled at the sight of him with a baby, everything he’s been waiting for as soon as he saw the two lines on that pregnancy stick you took, ever since he told bisexual parents and friends, ever since you told him you were craving carrots, ever since you hung the pictures of your scan up on the fridge, ever since you cleaned the house every day trying to prepare.
You stroked the baby girls head before clearing your throat, “You wanna hold her now?” Chris nodded at your offer, replacing the babies for one another as he now rocked his baby girl.
“You’re so pretty, just like your mama bear.” he smiled, kissing his daughter’s forehead. You cringed and laughed at the silly nickname, wincing at the pain it caused your stomach. “Uncle Matt is gonna be so jealous. I’m sure we’ll all spoil you.” he smiled before looking over and seeing your discomfort.
He gently put his daughter down in the small bassinet they provided, taking your son off your chest and doing the same before sitting on the bed with you. “You doing alright ma?”
“I’m okay just a little pain, but it’s okay.” You smiled, holding onto his hands before he let go - reaching over and re-tying your hair for you. “Are you okay?”
He nodded proudly, stroking your cheek. “I’m so proud of you, mama bear.”
You laughed, wincing at the pain but carried on anyways, “Chris! Stop that’s gross!” The new father only laughed into hugged you, making sure to hold his own weight so he wouldn’t hurt you.
“Seriously, I’m proud of you. My pretty girl.” You smiled at his praises, running your hands through his hair whilst shaking your head. “Anyways can we please call him Chris Jr-!”
“Chris! No!”

I mean from what we know of the British royals health has always been fine until this year
I mean, the Queen did die before this year and I haven’t looked it up but I believe death is a pretty serious health issue

I just realized something!
Can’t bunnies get double-pregnant?😏
Think about it. You’re sitting there moaning and grunting with effort, pushing out an entire litter of cute little babies as your partner rubs and kisses your massive belly. After hours of contractions and pushing, the last of your babies are born, yet you still have another litter growing inside.
You sigh blissfully and pat your still gravid bump, knowing that you’re going to do this again in only a few months.
Oh 😳
Oh my -
Well, that'll certainly keep me busy 😵‍💫🤤

‘God Fearing Child’. Gabrielle delivers THEIR baby. She does not leave Xena in her labour despite the whole of Olympia shaking and crumbling down.
She has no idea what’s going to happen when their baby is born. There’s no chance that she can survive.
She doesn’t care. She helps bring their baby into the world. She’s steadfast. She’ll be there no matter what.
That’s what you call love and a domestic partnership.

Ah, Easter. A time to celebrate new life.
......that being said, a Cybertronian festival that's equivalent to Easter and it's entirely focused on reproducing. Like "Happy God Day now get pregnant please".
-💚💙
I've definitely considered something like that. just a Cybertronian mating season/religious festival where they all go Primus gave us the ability to reproduce because he wanted us to partake in the miracle of life, and this week we fuck like crazy to honour that.
I am imagining a beautiful Cybertron full of visibly pregnant bots just walking around, getting on with their day, touching baby bumps and gushing about how excited they are for the little one.

ground zero alien invasion
You made a grave mistake having sex with an alien one time.
You don’t remember much of the experience. Only flashes of memories remain, brief and disjointed. You normally weren’t someone to engage in one night stands, but the man you met told you it was his only day in town and you just couldn’t miss this opportunity.
And so you remember stumbling home drunk from the club with the hottest man you’ve ever attracted. You shrunk away in surprise when you felt his ice cold fingers around your waist, but his dazzling smile pulled you back again. One moment you have your eyes closed, writhing with each lick of a tongue teasing at your entrance. A slobbering kiss on your neck makes your eyes peel wide open again. It then came upon you that you were in fact not being eaten out this entire time. Instead, your one night stand was replaced by a blue-skinned alien with its tentacle-like appendage part way into your pussy.
Before you turn into full-fledged panic, he whispers foreign words into your ear and pushes deeper into you, splitting you apart with the girthy part of his cock. Thoughts of leaving go down the drain as he begins to make you feel better than any date has ever achieved, penetrate you deeper than has ever been explored. Even if you weren't hallucinating, what would be so wrong with having a sex with an alien?
The last thing you remember is screaming as he breaches through your cervix.
For the entire morning immediately following, you question your mentality— whether you had been lucid dreaming, or you were tripping balls. Your body had felt bloated and achy, like your insides had been thoroughly rearranged— something that you wrote off as a result of the rough sex last night.
You were only forced out of bed by the intense rumbling of your stomach. You fight the wave of exhaustion to make yourself a hearty lunch. Perhaps you had a little too much food because you needed to untie the drawstring of your sweatpants afterwards.
As you finish cleaning up your kitchen, you accidentally bump your abdomen against the countertop. You flinch back and your hands fly over the afflicted spot. Just then you are made aware of the fact that your belly curves underneath your palm. You rush to the bathroom to look at yourself properly in the mirror. Your eyes widen at the sight. You’ve never seen yourself get this bloated before.
You poke at the strange mass attached to your waist— it's solid and cold to the touch. You swear your breasts look bigger than when you wear your most padded pushup bra. You don’t know how long you stand there transfixed by your own reflection. You swear every time you take a breath in, your belly expands a bit more, and it doesn’t retract down when you breathe out.
Your brain tries to sort through all the explanations of what’s happening to you, but it keeps leading to the same absurd conclusion that couldn’t possibly be real. There’s one blaring conclusion that keeps coming up, but it’s so absurd that you’d sooner believe that you were dying of an unknown disease.
The only thing you can think of doing was going to the emergency room. It’s not surprising when the nurses don’t take your concerns seriously and put you in the back of the waiting list. As you wait in the uncomfortable plastic chair, you continue to grow without halt. You’re forced to watch your belly go from being just perfectly tucked underneath your t-shirt to spilling underneath the hem and pushing your thighs apart. Some people, who’ve been there as long as you have, begin to double take your appearance.
When a new nurse comes in for a shift, you had to grab the opportunity. You clutch your underbelly and waddle yourself down the hall to the fastest of your capabilities to flag her attention. She looks your heavily pregnant body up and down and immediately her first question is to ask if you’re in labour. You have no idea what that would entail, but you spit out yes, and you’ve been waiting for hours already.
Things move quickly thereafter with you getting sent to get an ultrasound. Finally, you’ll get the answers you’ve been waiting for.
“How far along are you?” the doctor asks you.
“I don’t know. I don’t know anything. I woke up this morning and I just blew up… like a… like a balloon… in one day! Aren’t you the doctor here?” you stammer without making much sense.
She looks at you incredulously and her eyes only widen when she looks back at the ultrasound screen.
“Well… you are certainly pregnant,” she starts.
“Oh…” Your heart falls to the ground. You knew this was a possibility but hearing it confirmed makes the dire reality set in. You’re having a baby. “Is it… healthy?” you ask.
The doctor doesn’t answer your question, instead seems to be rendered speechless as her eyes dart around monitoring the screen.
When she finally looks back at you, she is literally shaking from head to toe. “What the hell is in your womb?” she shoots at you with malice underlying each syllable.
“I told you… I don’t know,” you whisper. It was then you felt a tumbling within your belly as if your baby was greeting you. Your arm wraps around your belly, a surge of protectiveness rising over you even though you’ve barely processed the news of being pregnant.
“We need to burn that thing with fire,” she seethes,
You promptly clammer off the hospital bed. You grab the nearest scalpel and waves in front of you like a maniac. “Don’t touch me!” You don’t know where that confidence came from because you’ve always been afraid to even run a red light.
The doctor backs away in fear, and tries to reason with you more cautiously, “Didn't you come here wanting to stop whatever was happening to you?
You shake your head. You had forgotten why you had come here at all and all that was clear to you was that you would do anything to protect the baby in your belly.
“We need to run more tests to see what is growing inside you,” she tries to reason, but you don’t trust her any longer. She makes the grave mistake of reaching out to grab you, prompting you to puncture her in the arm. Fresh red blood sprays onto your hand and you panic.
Escaping the yells from behind, you clutch your now heavy overdue belly and stammer out of the hospital, barely stopping to breathe despite the baby already restricting your lungs. You speed all the way home and you don’t stop until you get home and bolted your door and all your windows.
Finally, you catch up on your breathing and head over to your mirror again. When you left the house a mere couple of hours ago, you looked like you could possibly be sporting a beer belly or maybe in your second trimester, but now it was undeniable to any stranger that you were very pregnant. It would now be more of a question of when you were going to pop or if you were carrying two.
Either way, you are convinced you are going into labour soon. Though you don’t feel any contractions yet, your skin is tight as a drum already and your pelvis feels like it’s going to bust under all the weight. You could not fathom possibly getting larger. There is just  no way.
Utterly exhausted by the events of the day, you resign to lying down in your bed. You’re waiting for any sign of labour, before you lose the battle to sleep.
Pacing around your living room, you wait for the first sign of labour. At any moment you should either feel contractions tighten around your abdomen or water leaking down your legs. Instead you continue to grow outwards, resembling more like you are carrying twins. You stripped off all your clothing at this point, annoyed by how restricting it felt against your ever growing body.
It wasn’t too long before you were jolted awake by the intense pressure on your bladder. You groan as the baby inside you makes the situation worse by a strong kick. When you finally peel your eyes open, you can barely comprehend the sight before you. Never have you ever seen such a gravid belly on anyone let alone yourself. You made a grave mistake closing your eyes briefly and now your belly is hanging out part way off the edge of your mattress. Essentially pinned down into your soft mattress, you grunt to push your heavy torso upright. You try to leverage yourself against your bed frame, on your elbows, with the edge of the mattress— all with futile success. There was a deep-seeded fear for a while that you were going to be stuck in that spot forever. Fortunately, minutes of struggle lead to eventually succumbing to sliding your body off the bed like a beaching whale, with it your bladder losing in the battle.
Regardless, you are determined to waddle yourself to the bathroom to see the state of your soiled body. Given how insanely top and front heavy you are, you need to hold yourself against the wall to avoid toppling over. You feel your thighs tremble and your hips crack with each tiny step forward.
A wave of accomplishment washes over you when you finally make it in front of your bathroom mirror. The remnants of your old self lie in the blood stained t-shirt that has ridden up your torso to resemble more of a sports bra. Your belly has grown outward so far that the sheer weight of it began pulling the mass down to your mid thighs. When you wrap your arms around yourself, your fingertips could barely touch your non-existent belly button. Your skin has been stretched thin like a balloon, so transparent that you could see the web of blue veins underneath.
Although the baby in your belly has grown unrestrictedly minute after minute, the rest of your body has barely kept up to sustain. Fear sets in as you contemplate how you’re going to possibly birth this massive baby out your unprepared pelvis.
Before you are left wondering any longer, you feel a gush of water trail down your legs. It couldn’t have been your already emptied bladder.
Just over 24 hours after your encounter with the alien, the price of your horny decisions come back to bite you in the ass in the form of a big-headed alien baby splitting your pelvis in half.
You scream at the top of your lungs as you give one last battle push. You feel the sweet relief of pressure as the baby gushes out of you at once. Umbilical cord still attached, you drag the baby up onto your deflating stomach. The baby doesn’t resemble you at all. Its eyelids are still shut, skin is a sickly translucent blue and limbs resemble tentacles.
There’s no time to question if the baby is healthy because it begins crawling up your body on its own until it stops at your nipple. It begins suckling without any assistance at all, as if it was completely natural for a human to mother an alien species.
There wasn’t much time to process before your body is wracked with another wave of contractions. You had thought it might be the afterbirth, until you felt another large skull lodge into your cervix.
You smile as you cradle your baby closer to your chest and start pushing again.
.
You hum to your babies as they suckle out of both your tits. They’ve already put on double the weight since you’ve given birth and you already feel bittersweet that they’re growing up too fast.
You can walk without feeling pain anymore and your outrageous belly has thankfully gone down. It’s not completely flat like pre-pregnancy, but you’re grateful you got your two babies out of your strong body.
You pass your hand over your belly reminiscing about waking up being pregnant. It wasn’t too long ago, but it feels just like it... You run your hands back over realizing you are more bloated than before.
You refuse to believe it until an hour later, you are clearly sporting a pregnant belly like you had woken up with before. There’s no way you could be pregnant again when you haven’t had sex since that one time with the alien.
And yet, you continue to progress in growth like deja vu. Whilst you were freaking out, you forgot about the babies you had already birthed. You look everywhere, turning the house upside down until your pregnant belly grows so enormous it prohibits you from moving.
Your babies were gone like the wind and it was hitting you harder than expected. You hadn’t wanted to get pregnant, but now these babies are your whole life. Your grief only wanes when you are hit with contractions once again.
You will quickly realize your role. Your babies will grow up and leave your nest, but soon enough there is going to be another litter of babies for you to take care of.
.
You get into a routine, not knowing how many weeks have passed, nor what was happening in the world outside your little nest.
....Until one day you open your local news channel, and you find out you haven’t been alone in your experience.
The first official reporting happened right here in our small town, but the doctor was brushed off because of absurdity. The reports of rapid pregnancies have since risen to the thousands and the CDC is now calling it an alien invasion.
These aliens can disguise themselves as humans and we have no way of picking them apart. They are capable of infecting all the eggs in your ovaries with a single sexual encounter. After birth, they can mature into productive adults in a weeks time. We estimate that there may be 500,000 adults hiding amongst us in the United States alone.
Currently available contraceptives on the market are not effective in prevention. As a precaution, avoid sexual intimacy with all individuals.
Symptoms of infection include rapid pregnancy in a 24 hour framework. New pregnancies will continue in succession, and as of this moment, we do not have a cure without harming the carrier’s life.
Infected individuals may display behaviours of violence. They will lay down their life to protect their babies. Please approach with caution.
Realization then comes upon you that you might have been ground zero for an alien invasion.

Read from Joel's POV I Main Masterlist
You wake with a gasp, clasping at your lower stomach, breathing heavily. You’ve been having pains on and off the past few hours before bed, but you and Joel, both put it off as Braxton-hicks, as they were really irregular. But when you try to sit up and you feel the pain travelling from front to back, it's different, you know what it means. You’ve actually been labouring all evening. It’s the middle of the night, the house dark and silent, Joel’s splayed out next to you on his stomach, his arm over your legs, but you know it’s time. Three days from your due date, there's no denying it. You know the signs and having already had Sarah, you can tell your body is ready.
The pain doesn’t last long, but it’s definitely worse than any of the others you’ve been having over the course of the day. It’s time.
Carefully you remove Joel’s arm from your legs. He stirs slightly, but not enough to wake. You bring your legs over the side of the bed, giving yourself a second, before quietly getting up. A bath is the best thing right now, a way to relax you in the beginning of labour, and there’s no need to wake Joel any earlier than necessary. He’s a worrier, and you don’t want to put him through that.
You quietly walk into the bathroom and begin running the bath. Leaning against the sink as you wait for it to fill. But before you can say or do anything, another contraction takes over you. You begin to sway your hips in an effort to help you through the pain and take deep breaths. Trying your best to remain quiet, breathing softly through it. Once it’s over you finish preparing the bath, adding in some lavender bath salts to calm you. You step in, the lifting of your leg causing a twinge in your back that makes you wince. You then settle yourself down slowly, letting out a soft moan as your stomach hits the water. It’s the best you’ve felt in a while.
About an hour passes, you’ve managed to get through the few contractions you’ve had quite well, the water really helping. You sit and think. Appreciate the life you have, the people you’re surrounded by you take a moment to think back to little ten-year-old you, who dreamt of this every day and didn’t think it was possible. We made it! And we are so happy! It brings tears to your eyes. You feel so complete, so full of love for your family, you could burst. A family of three will soon become four, that thought lingers as you breathe silently through a pain, it makes it all worth it.
You wish you could stay in that moment forever, but your fingers now look more like prunes than fingers and the water has begun going cold. Looking across the room, you can see Joel has left a fluffy towel there for you. Remembering you had told him before you went to sleep, that you were going to have a bath in the morning if you still felt the same. God that man is amazing! He really does think of everything!
As you begin to lift yourself up to get out, another contraction comes over you, much stronger than the ones you’d had previously, and it really hurt. Crippling almost. Realising you’re going to need Joel’s help you have no choice but to call for him.
“Oh Shit. Joel!” you shout.
“Joeeel!” you shout again sounding much more defeated this time, but still in agony.
“I’m coming baby!” he shouts half asleep.
The bathroom door swins open, and a naked Joel finds you on your knees in the water, gripping the side of the bath, gritting your teeth as you scream your way through the contraction.
“It’s okay shhhh, Baby breathe” Joel strokes your lower back, you can hear the worry in his voice.
When you manage to catch your breath back “Fuck Joel, that one hurt”. You say lowering yourself back onto your heels in the tub. Joel moves with you coming to squat besides the bath as he faces you.
“It’s okay, you’re doing amazing Baby” he kisses your forehead, “is it time?”.  He says rubbing your arms as he looks into your eyes.
“I- Yeah, I’m pretty sure it is”. You whine as a tear runs down your cheek.
“Oh Baby, why didn’t you wake me earlier?” he wipes the tears from your eyes before holding his hands on your cheeks.
“I’ve been okay, I didn’t wana worry you any earlier than I needed to. And this is exactly what I was afraid of, and it happened anyway. I’m sorry.”
“Baby, you should’ve woke me earlier and don’t you dare say sorry, you aint got nothing to be sorry for.”
“Honestly Joel, I promise you I’ve been okay. Was no point us both been awake when there was nothing we could do, but I’m gonna need your help now with getting out please. I swear you make big babies Miller and right now, they’re pushing right down.” You half laugh.
“I got you Darlin, come on” Joel stands before helping you out of the bath, grabbing the towel to wrap you up in and bringing you into his arms. Holding you tight. You stay like that in a comfortable silence for a moment. Snuggling into Joel’s chest.
“Y’know I knew second babies were faster, but this seems super-fast.” It’s muffled as you say it into his chest. He hums in response. You look up at him then “Can we go back into the bedroom? I wanna go sit on the bed; my back’s killing”.
He kisses the top of your head then “Course baby, come on let’s get you comfy.”
Joel walks you into the bedroom and helps you sit on the bed. He helps you to dry off and put on an oversized lounge set, he then gets up, grabs some fluffy socks out of the drawer and puts them on your feet; knowing how cold your toes get. Finally decent, you move to sit against the headboard, propped up against the pillows, resting your hand on your stomach whilst you stare at Joel. “Thank you for always being so good to me Cowboy”. You smile.
He looks at you so full of admiration and love you think he might burst, and he takes your free hand in between his; “Baby I love you so much, and the fact that I have this amazing life and I share it with you, and you’ve given me Sarah, now this baby too, I am so so grateful to you, I’ll do anything and everything for you, always.” He kisses your hand, and when he’s sure you’re comfortable (well as comfortable as you can be all things considered) he goes and grabs some clothes for himself. You struggle through another pain whilst he’s preoccupied this one bearable alone. You think just knowing Joel is near helps. His presence alone enough to calm you through the pain. The pains are getting stronger and closer together, which you know means you’re progressing as you should be, but it’s definitely progressing faster than it did with Sarah.
When Joel is dressed, you can tell he’s petrified, even if he’s trying to act like he isn’t. You know it’s hard for him especially considering he strives through life making sure you’re happy and healthy, you know this is the only situation ever, that he’s felt helpless in, and it scares him that he’s going to witness it again. He’s pacing back and forth, and so, settles on checking all the bags are packed ready to go by the door, then he finally calls Tommy.
‘Tommy, hey bud sorry it’s late, we need you to come over’-
-‘yeah, it’s time’-
He laughs
-‘Okay perfect I’ll let her know, see you soon, thanks Tommy.’
He puts his phone back in his pocket before making his way back over to you on the bed, sitting at you side. “He says they’ll be twenty minutes max, should’ve heard the squeal Maria let out.”
“Anyone would think it’s her baby! But amazing thank you” you take a deep breath, before hitting your knees with your palms “right shall we go wake up our girl, let her know her sibling wants to say hello?” You giggle at the thought; wow Sarah is going to be a big sister.
“You know what; I still can’t get over that we are doing this again” he smiles, then walks up to you and bends down to kiss your forehead “I love you Baby”.
“I love you so much” you say before kissing his lips and then go to get up, Joel is there to help you. He really is the best husband you could ask for.
You walk or rather waddle across the hall to Sarah’s door, with your husband at your side. A hand rests softly on your lower back. He only leaves you then, in order to knock, before slowly pushing it open. Sarah is fast asleep, her nightlight highlighting her gorgeous features. She really is the most beautiful girl you’ve ever seen, and no you aren’t just biased in that opinion because she’s your daughter. It’s 100% true. She begins to rouse as Joel steps a foot into the room. “Daddy?” she mumbles sleepily. Just as you go to enter, another contraction washes over you, so you hang back against the outside wall, riding it out, nodding for Joel to continue in. You bite your arm to remain silent. You don’t want to scare Sarah.
“Hey Baby Girl!” it’s an excited whisper.
Sarah looks to the window and notices it’s still dark. Rubbing her eyes, she looks back to her dad. “Daddy, it’s not morning.”
“No Baby, I know, listen, me and Mama have something to tell you.” He replies as he takes a seat on her bed.
She yawns as she sits up straighter in her bed, intrigued.
“Where is Mama, was she shouting?” the concern evident in her voice.
He strokes her head “She will be in, in a minute Baby. Now listen your new little brother or sister wants to say hello, so we need to go to the hospital, Uncle Tommy and Aunt Maria are on the way to come and stay with you, while me and Mama are gone okay.”
“The baby’s coming?”
“Yeah Babygirl, the baby’s coming”
“Yay, okay!” it’s an excited squeal, one that reiterates the adoration and love she has for her unborn sibling already.
With the pain gone and the sweat mopped up, so you look somewhere close to ‘half decent’, you walk into Sarah’s room.
“Mama!” she bounces in her place on the bed.
“Hi my pretty girl!”
“You okay?” Joel quickly interrupts as he turns to look at you.
“Fine, honestly” you smile.
He nods in response.
“Can you come and sit with me Mama?” Sarah taps the place on her bed next to her as she shuffles over slightly.
“Of course, Baby”
You slowly sink yourself down onto the spot free next to her on the bed, with a groan. Joel moves to be sat near to her feet, so you have space to stretch out. You place an arm around Sarah and the other on your stomach.
“So, the baby is coming tonight, Mama?” she asks as she cuddles into you.
You rub her arm as “Maybe tonight, or maybe tomorrow.”
You sit in silence for a moment then. Cuddling Sarah soaking up her love; the last few moments of it being only the three of you.
Then Joel adds in as he taps her foot “Hey Sarah, last time to put your bet in, what’s it going to be a boy or a girl?”
“It’s a sister I know it, she told me” certainty on her tongue.
“Oh yeah, and when did ‘she’ apparently tell you this?” you reply with a giggle.
“When me and her were talking one day, you know we like to talk” she says it like she can’t believe you’re asking, that you’re stupid for not knowing exactly how she knows.
“Well, we will soon see, me and Daddy think it’s a boy” you boop her nose as you laugh.
“But I don’t want a - Oh- Mama? Are you okay?”
As Sarah begins to reply to you, another pain washes over your body, causing you to yelp slightly, but you try your best to hide the pain. As to not scare Sarah. You squeeze your eyes shut as you breathe your way through it.
“Mama’s okay Baby” Joel reassures as he strokes a hand up and down your leg “this is just your baby brother or sister trying to get out”. He then adds “Breathe Mama”.
“Oh” Sarah moves slightly in your arms, so she can rub some hair out of your face and behind your ear. Kissing your check once she has done it. Sarah copies what Joel says “breathe Mama”
Once the pain has subsided you squeeze Sarah as hard as you can, “Thank you so much for helping me through that pain, that kiss was very nice” you kiss the top of her head. Sarah then moves a hand to your belly and wriggles out of your arms, so she can move to bring her mouth to your belly. She lifts up your top to expose your belly and whispers against the skin; “don’t hurt Mama please baby sister” she kisses your tummy and adds “I can’t wait to meet you.” She really is the most beautiful six-year-old ever, the most considerate little girl.
You sit there embracing and soaking in every last second as the three musketeers, life is never going to be the same again after this. So you really do soak up every last second. Eventually there is a distant knock drawing all three of your attention’s. Joel is quick to stand up and is out of the room in the same breath.
You turn to Sarah again; “Come give me a big big hug, I’m gonna miss you soooo much.”
“I’m going to miss you too Mama, will you be gone long?” she mumbles into your chest as she hugs you tight.
“We shouldn’t be Baby; I think we will be home by tomorrow night at the very latest, but I will call you so that you know okay?”
“Okay, Mama, oh and you know something?”
“What’s that Baby?” you stroke her hair.
“I am so happy you’re my Mama, and I’m so happy you’re baby sisters Mama too, we have the best one in the whole world” the sentimental thoughts this little girl has melt you. You’re amazed that she knows exactly what to say, and when to say it. She makes every situation good or bad 10x better.
“Oh, thank you Baby, I really love you so much. You know that?” you can’t help the tears that begin to fall down your cheeks then. You sniffle, which gains Sarah’s attention, and she looks up at you.
“Oh, I’m sorry Mama, I didn’t mean to make you sad” she reaches a hand to wipe the tears from your cheeks.
“You didn’t make me sad Baby, I promise, these are happy tears, you made me really happy”. You kiss her forehead.
The bedroom door opens again, and Joel, Tommy and Maria all walk into the room. Both you and Sarah look towards them.
“Hey stinker!” Tommy shouts
“Hey Uncle Tommy, hi Maria!”
Joel notices that you’re crying and is straight to your side “You, okay?” he then reaches to Sarah’s bedside table to get you a tissue.
You take it from him with thanks “I’m fine, I promise, Sarah was being Sarah, and now I’m crying. You know how it goes”. You laugh wetly as you dab under your eyes with the tissue.
“Oh, I do.” He turns to Sarah, stroking her cheek “You’re the best aren’t you Babygirl”. She giggles in response.
He then looks back to you “Right Baby, you ready to go?”
“Yeah” you smile and take a deep breath. “Let’s go have a baby!”
Joel holds out both his hands to you and he helps you to swing your legs back over the side of the bed. He then helps to pull you up with a groan. You take a second to catch your bearings, now you are back on your feet. Joel helps to walk you slightly to the middle of the room, so Tommy and Maria are able to position themselves on the bed by Sarah. You watch as Maria takes your position, she cuddles up to Sarah and strokes her head. You’re so happy she’s in good hands whilst you’re gone. Tommy and Maria have always been so good to Sarah.
Still holding one of Joels hands; “right Sarah, you have to be really good for Tommy and Maria okay Baby- you need to make sure- ugh” you say as you place your freehand under your bump feeling a pain beginning, Joel grabs hold of you tight then- “make sure to listen to-f-fuck!” you grip onto Joel’s arm like it’s a lifeline and move back to face him. Joel shushes you and offers you his other arm too, so you can hold onto him properly and sway. You push your forehead into his shoulder. You can’t help but be vocal this time, in too much pain to be able to control the moans that come out of your mouth. “You got this baby” Joel whispers into your hair. As the pain begins to subside you can just about hear as Tommy tells Sarah you didn’t mean the ‘no no’ word you said. Sarah just laughs in response.
When the pain is completely gone, you look Joel in the eye, he can see you’re already beginning to feel deflated. Yet he also has a cheeky half smile on his face, and you remember what you had just said. You stand up tall again and turn back to look at Sarah. “Mama is sorry for saying that Baby, I didn’t mean it, be good for Tommy and Maria, listen to what they say okay? I love you.”
“Love you too Mama!” she blows you a kiss and you pretend to catch it and placing it on your heart, before blowing her one back.
As you begin to walk out of her bedroom Joel turns to look back at the three of them; “Tommy, I’ll be in touch, thank you for having her. See you soon Babygirl, be good, love you”!
“Love you too Daddy, make sure to look after Mama”.
“I will, I promise!”
Tommy and Maria both shout good luck and you make your way downstairs, grabbing the hospital bags that you left by the door, and then you’re on your way.
🩷🩵🩷
You’ve been at the hospital about an hour when your midwife comes into the room.
“Hi, I’m Sally your midwife, how are we both doing?”
“Good thanks, but definitely progressing much faster than I expected.”
“Well, there’s never really been a time scale for these thing, your baby must just be super eager to make an appearance! Are you okay if I check you, just to see how far along you are?”
You nod, but are sidetracked by a very painful wave, overtaking your body once more. You sit up taller in the bed, breathing and moaning your way through the pain. Joel is rubbing your lower back, ‘counterpressure’ her remembers the midwife at Sarah’s birth called it, it doesn’t really do much, but you enjoy feeling his presence and care. Once the pain ends, Joel helps you to shift in the bed, so you’re able to get into a suitable position for the examination; offering his hand. You take it gratefully and part your legs so the midwife can get to work.
“Okay, six centimetres, coming right along, well done! Won’t be too much longer now hopefully” she snaps her gloves off.
“Oh, thank goodness” you groan.
“Now am I right in thinking it’s in your birth plan to have a water birth, if we have a room with a pool free? Is that still what you want?”
“I would Love that! I really regret not having a water birth with Sarah.”
“Okay, no problem, I’ll get onto the case and find out if we have a room, I’ll be back with the verdict asap, in the meantime, I’ll be right outside if you need me, okay? That red button to your right, press it if you need me, I’ll come running, literally! Especially if your water breaks okay, shout me!”
“Will do, thank you nurse.” Joel responds.
With the door shut and the midwife out of the room you turn to Joel.
“She’s nice” you smile.
“Yeah, I like her” Joel agrees.
“Hey not too much longer Baby and we will be a family of four, how crazy is that!” you add excitedly.
“I can’t wait. Do you think Sarah is right about it being another girl?”
“Honestly, I don’t know. I know she really wants a sister, so I would love to give her one. But either way she will be the best big sister, I know that much.”
“Oh, she most definitely will, I have to agree with you there Darlin’.”
Joel moves his hand out of the grasp of yours and begins to caress your belly. Making gentle work of it, as he knows just about any pressure on it right now is painful. You let out a pleasurable moan in response. His palms tickling your belly in a really relaxing way. His baby kicking in response every so often.
“God, I really hope I can have a water birth.”
“I’m praying for you Baby”. He says as he leans down to kiss your stomach.

Two hours later, again, your breathing begins to speed up as another pain takes over you whilst you lie on your side in the hospital bed. You grab onto Joel’s arm as you moan with the pain. You lean into him, curling your body tight. He uses the arm you don’t have a hold of, to rub up and down your back.
“You got this Baby, I’m so proud of you”.
“Ugh, it really hurts” your voice breaks and you can’t help the tears that begin to fall “I can’t do it anymore”.
“You can Baby, you can. You’ve got this, you’ve done it all before with Sarah. Just think of how amazing life is now because you brought her safely into the world. You did that! Endured all that pain to bring her into the world, and now you’re going to do the same again with this baby. We are all so lucky to have you. You’re so strong.” He kisses your forehead as the pain begins to subside.
With the pain gone, you have the ability to sit up straighter. Joel moves out of your way so you’re able to sort yourself out, however you wish to. Rather than sitting against the pillows, you bring your legs over the side of the bed, so you can sit directly facing Joel. You hold your hands out on either side of the bed to help you stabilise. Joel then kneels in front of you, so you put your arms around his neck, in an effort to hold him closer. He’s your safe space. You pull each other into an embrace, and you rest your head on his shoulder as you cry.
“Shhh Baby, you’re okay, you got this”.
You don’t say anything, you just continue to hug him as you shake and cry. Joel brushes his hands up and down your back. “Hey Baby, look at me”. It’s a whisper into the quiet room after a few minutes of silence. You don’t move, just shake your head no into his shoulder. “Baby” he pulls away a little. “Please, look at me” this time it’s much sterner, but still drowned in concern.
You slowly lift your head up; your hair falls in front of your face as you do so. Your face red and shiny with tears. You looks exhausted and defeated. Joel brushes your hair behind your ears and smiles at you. He then wipes your wet cheeks to free them of your tears. “Hi” he smiles “see you’re so strong. So much stronger than I could ever be. I promise you, you’ve got this”.
“I don’t” you whimper.
“Baby” he laughs “you do! Look at you, you’re literally doing it as we speak!”
“I don’t feel strong” it comes out like a moody grunt.
“But you are, come on take a deep breath. It’s all going to be worth it”.
You take a deep breath in before exhaling, keeping eye contact with Joel as you do. You bring a hand to your lower back with a wince.
“Can you help me up please? I wana walk for a little?”
“Course Baby, whatever you need”.
Joel takes hold of both of your hands and pulls as you begin to lift yourself off the hospital bed. You then proceed to pace; breathing deeply as you rub your belly.
“You up for some music? We can dance for a bit, will that help?”. Joel asks enthusiastically.
It stops you in your tracks “Aww Joel, you cutie you still wana dance with me? Even when I look like this?” you gesture to your hospital gown.
“I always wana dance with you Darlin’.”
Joel grabs his phone and puts on a random playlist of slower songs. He takes you into his arms and cuddles you close swaying with you in his arms. Stopping with each contraction that hits you, rubbing your lower back. He kisses the top of your head every so often. Mumbling into your hair how much he loves you. You continue to do this for a while, seemingly more relaxed until “Shit, wait Joel stop, I feel weird”.
He immediately stops swaying with you but continues to hold you “what do you mean?”
“I- I, it feels weird down there, I don’t know” you grab the underneath of your stomach.
“What can I do?”
You begin to stand straighter in his arms“I- I just need to move, just need t-“
You’re interrupted by a gush of water, falling from between your legs. Soaking your bare feet, and Joels boots.
“Oh shit, well that’s what that was” you laugh, but then keel over with another pain. Placing your palms onto the hospital bed as you sway and moan.
Joel pushes the red button, then is right back at your side helping you through it. The nurse is in the room within a couple of seconds.
“Hey, I was just on my way back to you guys, what’s going on?”
Joel, noticing you’re still getting over your pain, responds on behalf of you “her waters went”.
“Oh goodie! Progressing as we should and to top it off, we have a room free. We will take you there when you’re ready Sweetie” she rubs your shoulder in concern.
“Oh, thank God, I would’ve cried even more if I couldn’t have a water birth”.

Once settled into the new room Joel helps you to strip completely, then helps you to put on a bikini top. The midwife is filling up the tub and Joel helps you in once its ready. You’re straight on the gas and air.
After an hour of contracting in the water, you’re sat against the tub, a flannel over your forehead and Joel is rubbing your shoulders. You’re focusing on breathing calmly between contractions, but the next pain that hits you is excruciating. There’s something much more primal about this scream. Despite the pains everything seems calm till the sudden urge to push overcomes your body.
You sit up taller in the bath, pulling a face as you try to move to get more comfortable, which is just impossible.
“You okay Baby?” Joel asks noticing the distress on your face.
“There’s so much pressure down there I think-  I feel like- like I need to push” you take a second to get a proper feel for what it is you’re feeling. “Yeah, I do- I need to push Joel”.
Joel quickly jumps up and presses the red button and it takes all of ten seconds for Sally to return.
“How we doing?” she asks genuinely, but it’s obvious she knows the answer she’s about to get.
“I need to push” you say before a pain takes over you that has you almost screaming in pain. You turn in the tub to face Joel and put your arms over his shoulders. He hugs you close.
“You’re okay Baby, you’re doing so good.”
“Okay, when this pain is over, I’m going to check you, whatever you do, do not push, okay?” Sally says in a rushed tone.
You nod into Joel’s shoulder in response. And it takes ever fibre of your being not to push. You don’t move whilst she examines you, continuing to cuddle into Joel as you try to suppress the urge to push.
“Okay it’s go time angel, baby’s head is right there I can see it.”
“Oh, thank God” it comes out like a cry.
“You hear that Baby you can push” Joel utters to you so softly, it’s almost a whisper.
“You can start pushing as soon as you’re ready angel, how do you want to do this? You happy in the position you’re in or do you want to move?”
“No, I want to stay like this” you’re determined but exhausted.
“That’s absolutely fine. Now on the next contraction, I want you to push with everything you’ve got, okay, I’m going to count to ten and I need you to push that whole ten seconds, okay? You’re no quitter, so I don’t want any giving up.”
“Yeah, okay” it’s about all you can manage response wise.
It doesn’t take long till the next contraction happens, they’re basically on top of each other by this point.
You bare down as you grip onto Joel, and you give it all you’ve got. “Good!” the midwife shouts. “Keep going that’s it, 8, 9, 10.”
You stop pushing with a gasp.
“You did so good Baby” Joel whispers in your ear.
“Ready to go again?” the midwife asks, and you nod before baring down for another ten. It takes a few more pushes before the head is completely out and you’re nothing but glad that the ring of fire is long gone.
“Okay good the head is out! Well done! Take some deep breaths for me. Just a few more pushes and your beautiful baby will be here!”
“The heads out?” it’s almost a cry.
“Yes, it’s out!”.
“Can I feel?”
“Yeah, course go for it” the midwife adds. You move out of Joel’s grip slightly, bringing one of your arms back to feel the head between your legs.
“Oh, Joel, I can feel them, wow they have a lot of hair” you say as you look at him.
“Yeah? Lotta hair, just like Sarah?” Joel asks.
“Oh yeah beautiful full head of hair I can see it” the midwife adds in.
“Good, hey almost there now Baby” he replies before kissing your head as you lean back into him.
With the head finally out, you know you have to push even harder for the shoulders and you’re exhausted.
“Give us a really big push on this next contraction, okay?” Sally asks.
“I can’t” you shake your head into Joel’s shoulder.
“Baby you can, what do you mean you can’t?” Joel adds.
“I can’t do it anymore, I can’t” you cry.
“Baby, you’ve been doing so well and you’re so near the end now, hey look at me.” You lift your head from his neck to look at him. “You’re so strong you’ve got this, okay? You push, give it everything you’ve got and lets meet this baby of ours, okay?”
“Y-Yeah, okay”
“Good girl” Joel replies kissing your forehead.
The pain begins to wash over you and you push until you can’t anymore. Joel and Sally coaching you through every second of the push.
“Few more pushes and Baby is out” the midwife adds.
“Good you can do this Baby come on!” Joel shouts enthusiastically and that’s all you need to hear.
You scream as you bare down gripping onto Joel’s shoulders. It takes three more pushes to get the baby out. The midwife is there to catch and when the baby is finally free from your body you immediately sit back so you can take the baby from her. “It’s a girl!” the midwife announces as she places your screaming daughter in your arms.
“Another girl Joel” you cry at him, and he comes over to kiss you on the head before placing a hand on the back of his new daughters head.
“She’s so beautiful” Joel cries back.
“Sarah was right” you laugh, “she got the sister she always wanted”.
“Look at all of her hair!”
“She gets that from her Daddy” you laugh.
You’re crying, Joel’s crying, the baby is crying. You all just stay like that for a minute.
“Dad do you wana cut the cord?” Sally questions Joel, bringing you both out of your new baby bliss bubble.
“Y- yeah” he replies.
You move the baby to be cradled in your arms as he cuts the clamped cord. The midwife then takes the baby and gives her to a nurse to clean her off whilst you deliver the placenta.
🩷
An hour later you’re back in the hospital bed in your own comfy pj’s as your newborn daughter sleeps against your chest. She makes little purr like noises as she does. Skin to skin is your favourite thing to do with a newborn. Joel is sat at your side and rests his palm against your daughters head.
“What should we call her?” he whispers to you.
You turn your head to the side to look at him briefly. You whisper back “I think she looks like an Ellie.”
“Ellie?” he looks to her squished, pouty face then. “It’s perfect” he replies, before leaning to kiss her tiny head.
As if she hears herself being talked about, she stirs awake and lets out a little grouchy cry.
“Oh, Baby Ellie, you’re hungry again huh?” You coo at her angry scrunched face. You then move, Joel quickly grabbing her from you, so that you can undress yourself ready to feed her. Joel helps to position her at your breast, and she latches almost instantly. And you quickly settle back into the feeling of feeding a baby, it’s the best bonding feeling ever.
Joel just sits back and watches you both for a moment, before getting out his camera and taking a snap of you feeding your daughter.
“Babe, stoppp I bet I look a mess”.
“You look gorgeous Baby.”
This birth had been much less traumatic than Sarah’s and you were raring to go home. Thankfully you got the all clear to go which you were more than thankful for. You didn’t want to have to spend the whole night away from Sarah if unnecessary. Ellie was born six hours ago; she had fed easily and was going to the toilet normally. And so home time it was. Joel is getting Ellie ready in the car seat whilst you get out your phone. You’d promised to call Sarah when you were coming home and so you call Tommy’s phone to speak to her.
It only rings twice and surprisingly Sarah is the one to answer.
“Hi Mama!”
“Hey Baby, are you okay?”
“Yeah Mama, are you coming home?”
“We are coming home!”
“So, the baby is here!”
“Yes, the baby is here, and you’ll get to meet them very soon!”
“Yay I can’t wait!”
“See you soon Baby love you!”
“Love you too!”
There’s a welcome home sign on the front door, clearly made by Sarah, when you make it back home. Joel carefully helps you out of the car and then makes his way into the back to get Ellie out whose sleeping soundly. You then walk up to the front door together, Joel unlocking the door and allowing you to enter first. He enters behind you with Ellie in tow.
You walk into the living room and Sarah runs straight to you. Jumping up and down in front of you. ‘MAMA!’
“Hi beautiful girl!” you gently hug her. “You wana meet someone special?”
She nods, as she looks behind you to watch Joel walk in the door, baby carrier in tow. “Babygirl, this is Ellie, your sister” he announces excitedly.
“Sister? It’s a girl! See I told you!”
“Yeah, you were right baby, now if you go and sit nicely on the sofa, you can hold her if you want?”
“Yes, yes pleaseeee!”
Sarah runs hurriedly over to the sofa and sits nicely kicking her legs. You come to sit next to her and put an arm around her. Joel places the carrier down onto the floor and bends to carefully to unclip her to get her out. Maria and Tommy both coo from the other sofa when her tiny body is lifted out of the seat. The newborn scrunch is enough to set you off crying again and when Joel gently helps Sarah to position her arms to hold her new sister correctly, you’re a mess. Sarah’s one arm is propped against a pillow to further help her in supporting her baby sister.
“Hi Ellie, I’m your big sister. She’s so tiny wow” she strokes her cheek gently.
“She is huh? Joel adds “she’s going to get so much bigger though, one day she will be as big as you.”
“She’s so beautiful” as if on cue, Ellie opens her eyes then and looks straight up to her big sister in curiosity.
“Look Sarah she recognises her big sister; she remembers your voice from all those times you spoke to her when she was in my tummy. God, you look so big holding her baby girl” you bend her head towards you gently then to kiss her.
Joel reaches into his bag and gets his camera out once more.
“Girls look up, lets get a picture of the three of you”.
You and Sarah both look up at once, you quickly wipe the now drying tears from your face and Joel takes multiple pictures.
“Right daddy I think it’s time you got in too, don’t you?” Maria asks from behind him, he quickly passes her the camera and sits the other side of Sarah, you all smile once more at the camera, and Maria also take one of the three of you looking down at Ellie as she makes her tiny little noises.
"Okay enough you lot, think it's time Uncle Tommy had a cuddle don't you?" Tommy questions excited.
You all laugh then.
This is family, this is love, this is the life you’d spent your whole life dreaming of. And here you are finally living it, and it’s so much better than you could’ve ever, ever imagined.

Inconvenient timing| Mason Mount
Tumblr media
Notes: This is just a quick pregnant y/n to kick start my dad mason series! hope you enjoy xox
Warnings: Mild swearing I think? If difficult labour triggers you please dont read x
Blurb: One where you and mason didn't expect your little baby boy to want to come day hello during one of his matches.
“But what if something happens?”
“Nothings going to happen, mase.”
“But what if–”
“Mason, please.” You huff, leaning your elbows on the kitchen counter, you had already woken up with a pounding headache and the sound of your husband's whining really wasn't helping.
You look up to see a defeated mason standing in the doorway, his little puppy dog eyes widen as he watches you roll your eyes and continuously rub your temples. He knew he was probably being annoying, but you can't blame the guy for worrying about his very pregnant girlfriend attending Chelsea's FA cup final today.
The fact the final was being held at stamford bridge calmed Mason's nerves slightly, and that he knew that his family were also attending, so you wouldn't be on your own. Mason had spent the morning on the phone to each family member telling them to take extra care for you. As well as making his older brother swear that no matter what, if you feel even the slightest bit ill that he will drive you straight home. An emphasis on the ‘straight’, but Mason's brother just giggled at his attempt to be intimidating.
See, when it comes to you, mason is always stressed out. You're the love of his life. But as of nine months ago you were the love of his life carrying another love of his life. You had figured since getting pregnant that mason had these paternal instincts kick in, but you didn't mind, you loved how attentive and caring he was with you.
“Mase, please stop worrying babe. You're stressing me out, and that's not good for the baby.” You frown at him as he walks over to gently place his hand on your bump, his fingertips traveling under your (his) shirt, so he can run his fingers over your cold, delicate skin.
“I know, I'm sorry, y/n.” Mason huffs before resting his head on your shoulder as your hands fluff up his hair, “You know how people can get at football matches, especially finals.”
“I know, but I'll be fine, honestly. Your dad called and said he's going to pick me up at three so we can get there early and beat the crowd, and I promise I won't leave the vip area, and if I feel the slightest bit sick, I'll tell Lewis, and he will take me straight home.” You recited all the things Mason had made you promise him last night.
The only thing you hadn't told mason was that you had been having agonizing pain since you woke up this morning, not wanting to worry him.
You called your midwife when he was in the shower, she calmly assured you that it was pretty normal to have a few pains in your stomach, especially when there was a full on child growing in you. You weren't due for another four weeks, twenty three days to be precise, so you decided to just deal with the pain and if it gets worse then you would have to tell mase eventually. But right now you didnt want to worry him, you just wanted to watch your husband participate in the thing he loves the most, as well as kicking liverpool's arse along the way.
“Okay, I have to leave, but promise to text me when you get to the stadium so I can quickly run up and say hi before the match?”
“I promise.”
He quickly kissed you goodbye before sprinting out the front door, his heart still heavy as he couldn't stop himself from worrying about you.
You spent the rest of the morning getting ready, the pains in your stomach had settled down now, the midwife was probably right, growing pains.
But as promised, dead on at three o'clock, Mason's mum was knocking on the door with the rest of his family to drive to the match.
You waddled over to the door, greeting mason's mum as she helped to put on your shoes, she giggled as she tied your laces up for you. You were making a joke about not being able to bend down anymore, when she grabbed your bag for you and offered to lock the door.
She watched as you slightly winced as you made your way down the couple of steps in front of the doorway, her brows instantly furring as she had cottoned on immediately that something might be wrong.
“Are you okay, sweetheart?” She didn't want to come off too intimidating, but from a former pregnant lady to another she could see that something was bothering you.
“I'm fine, honestly.” You tried to wave her off.
You then got into the car with the rest of the masons family to make your way to Stamford bridge, the pains in your stomach settling down, for now.
Debbie didn't question you anymore, but she did whisper to jazz to also keep an eye out for you since she could tell something was wrong.
The rest of the ride was fine, the pains had stopped for a while as you all made your way into the stadium, sitting down in mason's vip box as he came up to quickly say a few hellos to his family.
He hugged his mum and dad before making his way over to you, who was sitting back in one of the lounge chairs. Mason hovered over you, a smirk on his face as he giggled at you in a clearly comfortable position.
“Don't look at me like that, mount.”
Mason just giggled before he bent down to kiss your forehead, his hands gently resting on your stomach.
“Hey little man.” Mason muttered.
Before leaning up to you, gently pecking your lips “You okay?” he smiled before sitting down next to you, leaning over to brush some hair out of your face.
“Never better.” You smiled. “Except for the fact that my feet are the size of bowling balls, have you seen them? They're huge!” You exclaim at Mason, raising your foot in the air, causing him to giggle.
“Do they hurt?”
“Not really, wouldn't say no to a foot massage though?” You smirk at him, causing mason to giggle again, you loved his little giggle. You loved his smile too, you hoped that your little boy would inherit Mason's smile, along with his little giggles too.
“I promise I will rub your feet when we get home, but right now I have a final to win.” Mason smiles before he gets up off the sofa.
“Bye baby.” Mason smiles as he kisses the top of your head, “bye my other baby.” He smiles as he runs his hands over your bump again.
“Good luck mase, we love you.”
“Love you both!” Mason shouts back, but he was already sprinting down the hallway since he was very late.
The game had started and you had all maneuvered outside, you were sitting on one of the front row chairs, right next to the barrier, but the chairs were pretty comfy so you weren't complaining.
Mason was in the starting 11, so you watched as he made his way out to the pitch, the whistles blowing, and the match starting.
It was around eighteen minutes into the first half when your pains had erupted again, but this time you knew that they weren't just any pains.
You winced slightly as you felt the sting of a shooting pain, Jazz and Debbie's heads snapping straight towards you.
“Y/n?” Debbie asked you, leaning over to place her hand on your knee. “Are you alright-”
“Alright, cut the ballshit y/n. I've watched you pull these faces all day! Are you in pain or something? And don't lie to me.” Jazz raised her eyebrows at you, earning a frown from her mother at the tone of her voice.
“I swear it hasn't been that bad, the pain. I called the midwife this morning and she said it might just be growing-”
But your words were cut short when you felt a certain sensation, your eyes widening in shock.
“Y/n, darling?” Debbie asked you.
“I think, I think my water just broke?” Your eyes were wide as you muttered a few ‘No’s’, feeling the wetness trickle down your leg.
“WHAT?! In the middle of the match, y/n?” Lewis leaned over his sister to say, earning him an elbow in the arm from Jazz.
“Sorry lewis, not really like i get to choose when my water breaks.”
Debbie giggles at your sarcasm as she quickly helps you get out of your seat, the whole family following you behind as you walk back into the lounge.
“Someone needs to get mase?” Tony questions as he looks around thinking about how he could get his son's attention.
“I'll go down and tell the steward, maybe he can radio though to Tuchel and get mase off the pitch.” Lewis smiles before dashing out of the room.
“Deep breaths, y/n.” Debbie says, running her hand along your arm.
“Have you had any more pains?” Jazz asks you.
“Not yet-” but you spoke too soon, before you found your head thrown back in pain, squeezing your sister in law's hand.
“Okay, I think we need to get her to the hospital.”
It wasn't long before you heard the speaker announce that mason mount was coming off the pitch for a tactical subsitation.
Mason was pissed, he didn't understand why he was subbed so early on in the match, almost refusing to come off. Mason was about to voice his anger to his manager, but then he saw the two security guards in high viz jackets behind him, and Mason knew immediately that something was wrong.
“What's going on? Is y/n okay?”
“She's gone into labour, masey!” Tuchel smiled down at Mason as he patted his back, mason just stood on the sidelines in shock, in such shock he couldn't even lift his arms to clap hands with his replaced substitute.
“Gowan then, go!” He pushes Masons back slightly, forcing him to follow the two security men down the tunnel.
But before mason knew it his legs were carrying him away from the pitch as he followed the men in bright yellow jackets, he looked back and sees the rest of the team on the subs bench smiling, Ben screaming good luck and a loud whistle from Jorginho, as he sprints down the tunnel to get to you.
You sat down in the downstairs lobby, refusing to leave without mason. So you sat and waited out a few more painful contractions before mason came racing around the corner.
“Y/n!”
You head snaps up at the sound of masons voice, “Thank fuck your here, we need to go, Now!” Mason's mum shouts at him as he runs over to you, kneeling down next to you as he places a hand on your leg.
Mason just looks up at you, his breathing just as heavy as yours, as nervous as he was in that moment he couldn't help but smile.
Mason grabs onto your arm as he helps you get out of the chair to help you walk to the car, when your fully sanding mason leans in slightly to whisper in your ear.
“Hey, we're having a baby.” He couldn't wipe the smile off his face now.
“We're about to be actual parents.” He whispers at you like an excited school kid.
“I know.” You smile back, the tears brimming in your eyes.
"Sorry about the inconvenient timing, you was playing really well."
"You could never be inconvenient."
“Come on your two, let's get to the hospital! Y/n, i've called your mum, her and your dad are going to meet us there.” Debbie smiled at you as she latched herself onto your other arm, also helping you walk to the car.
The car ride to the hospital was well, eventful.
You were stuck in the back with mason... mason. The man who in all the years you had been together still had no idea on how to handle one of your temper tantrums, or even when you were on your period.
You screamed out in pain as the contractions were getting worse, the fear kicking in about having to push a human child out of your vagina. Your nerves were sky high, and mason wasn't helping. At all.
“Was that another contraction?”
“No mason, I just screamed out in pain for the sake of it?” You snapped back at him, your hand was placed on the seat in front of you as you tried to do some breathing exercises.
“That was about eleven minuets apart, y/n. They're getting quicker.” Debbie smiles at you as she looks down at her watch.
The pain was absolutely rifling, causing you to feel very angry, and poor mason managed to suffer the vengeance of your anger.
“What does it feel like? A contraction?” Mason questioned you after your last contraction had just finished.
You breathlessly turned your head, the deathly stare that you were shooting him was enough for mason to know he fucked up. He mumbled a quick sorry and put his head down before you spoke up, cueing his head to lift again.
“This is your problem!” You sneered at him, gripping the seat tighter as the shooting pains were becoming unbearable.
“If you had just kept it in your pants for once we wouldn't be in this situation right now! This is your mess, Mount.”
You could hear the small giggles erupting from Tony and Debbie's mouths as they pulled into the hospital car park.
You felt awful for snapping at mason, but at the same time his presence alone made you want to murder him. But that's okay because you could blame it on the pregnancy hormones tomorrow.
Mason helped you into a wheelchair as he waited at the reception desk to check you in, but the hospital managed to move pretty past as before you knew it you were on a hospital bed, screaming out as you were officially ten centimeters dilated.
Your hand was squeezing masons as your legs were up in the air. It was more uncomfortable that you imagined, the sweat was running down your face, rubbing black mascara all under your eyes. But you tried not to think about that, but the incredibly painful sensation coming from your vagina.
“You're doing so well, y/n.” Mason smiled at you as he kissed your wet forehead, not caring about a little sweat.
“Just a little more and we get to meet our baby boy.” Mason smiles down at you, but his heart breaks as he watches you shake your head as tears spill out of your eyes.
“I can't, I can't do it anymore.”
You had been in active labor for about three hours now, the pains were unbarable and you just wanted it to be over.
“Y/n-”
“It's too much, I can't do it, I can't.”
Mason's heart broke as your voice cracked as you spoke. Mason knew it was unlike you to ever give up on anything. But right now the way your head was thrown back with tears running down your cheeks he wanted nothing more than to take the pain from you.
“When do you ever quit on anything? Huh?” Mason questioned you as you turned your head to him. “You are honestly the strongest, most bravest woman I've ever met, one of the main reasons I love you. You've already done most of it, so there's no point in giving up now, because I know you can do it, so don't lie to me.” Mason looks deadly serious as he tries to pump you up.
“Don't try to hype me up like I'm one of your teammates.” You scold him, but Mason just smiles as he watches you as you unknowingly set your back up straight, clenching down on his hand as you prepare yourself.
Mason presses another kiss to your head as he wipes away the fallen hair that was stuck to your forehead.
“I've never been more proud of you.” He whispers into your ear, wiping away a fallen tear.
“Ready?” He nods at you.
You smiled down as you listened to the midwife's instructions, you have no idea where you found this energy from to carry on, but once your baby boy was pressed on your chest it was so worth it.
Tears start to brim in your eyes as you fingers gently scrape the hair on top of your little boy's head, once he had stopped crying you took your time to examine his features, and you were right he looked just like his daddy.
“I'm so so proud of you baby.” Mason's hand comes to caress your head.
After a while you cleaned up slightly, you wanted as mason took your baby boy, he was so tiny and mason was so afraid of hurting him. But your heart practically melted as you watched Mason take a solid ten minutes to put on his first nappy, not wanting to hurt him.
You watched mason examined every part of him, masons fingertips looking huge compared to the size of your baby. Considering he was born early he was tiny, but that only frightened you more. However, the thought of you and mason being in this together, you knew, you would be fine.
Mason placed him in your arms as you scooted over on the hospital bed, mason squishing in next you as you placed your head on Mason's shoulder, both taking in how breathtakingly gorgeous you baby boy was.
“So, did you think about it?” Mason asked you, a slight smirk toying on his lips as he looked down. Your eyebrows furred as you looked up at him, until you realized what he was implying too. You and Mason had not been able to decide on a name yet, you both had a few options but you both said that the moment you both saw him you would just know.
“No mase, we are not calling him stamford.”

What would happen if beloved unexpectedly goes into labour when Terry is halfway across the world…
Staff.
Realistically, there's staff --- a whole enterprise of people running his mansions.
His affairs, if we will.
Now, I always enjoyed this idea that someone as rich and as powerful as Terry Silver has a network of carefully vetted and very meticulously picked staff around him that all function like well-oiled gear wheels in their own right; like, the man seems like he'd be extremely particular who he keeps around and everyone, I do mean everyone has their uses --- from the secretary assistant alerting him on upcoming trials, to the butler opening the front door, for example. Even the slightly rag-tag likes of Snake and Dennis who might've seem a bit baffling companionship to keep for a Billionaire; but hey, I envision they entertained him more than anything. You'd be shocked how hard it is to find someone who's just plain funny (and who can bring in news and observations from the streets of LA like a pair of mischievous imps when they don't serve as his sparring partners). And as such, I don't think a beloved of Terry's would ever truly be alone (that is just inconceivable and not an option), because Terry Silver's staff --- all of them; chauffeurs, Michelin star chefs, assistants, security detour members, the gardeners, the maids and on stand by private nurses and doctors for all we know --- function like an extension of his will and his presence from the other side of the world --- they're his eyes, his ears, his hands and his mouthpieces (and his Fist imported from Korea, as seen in Cobra Kai), if need be. It is Terry's way to almost be in multiple places all at once, because if he has to be away from beloved or the unprecedented thing like labor occurs, he has all fields covered and under control because his people will ensure everything goes immaculately and that they report back to him and keep him up to speed --- so, really, if beloved started giving birth while Terry's away...well, nothing would happen. Because Terry was ten steps ahead and thought it all through.
And since Terry himself is obsessive, I personally like to envision the staff he pays also has (covertly and not so covertly) obsessive tendencies too, simply because they're heftily paid and instructed to be by their Boss. Makes sense. If you're employed to ensure Boss' beloved and their baby is perfectly fine, you'll ensure Boss' beloved and their baby is perfectly fine by any means necessary.

In such a mood to be snowed in with a pretty boy who's just started labouring, despite denying it's time, seeing how long it'll take before he realises 🤭
