PPG: Fallen Heroes Ms. Keane

Current Keane from Fallen Heroes and Keane 8 years earlier.

She is still in the city and is a teacher and nurse. She usually ends up curing her former students and that is quite sad because she would have wanted them to live their lives normally but given the situation it is unlikely that will happen, however she tries to do her best. herself to continue helping us, for example she usually helps Robin when she seems to be collapsed due to stress, she helps and reprimands Mitch telling him to be more careful, Mike is like another son for her, all those who were her students are like sons for her. She usually hangs out with Sara Bellum a lot since they are good friends and it is nice to be able to remember good times. She misses the girls and the teacher, so she is one of the few people who still visits her grave. She suffers from partial deafness (that is why she uses a hearing aid) since she suffered an injury during an attack, but that does not stop her from continuing to make an effort and help. She is also trained since it was a requirement if she wanted to be a nurse but she is not usually in charge. . She has a son that she lost during an attack so she is still looking for him, no one knows who the father is but everyone suspects that it is his Professor (they had a relationship until he died, so losing him and then the girls devastated her) wait meet him, the child would currently be 8 years old.

Ella aún sigue en la ciudad y es maestra y enfermera normalmente termina curando a sus ex alumnos y eso es bastante triste pues ella hubiera querido que vivieran sus vidas normalmente pero dada la situación es poco probable que pase, sin embargo procura dar lo mejor de sí misma para seguir ayudándonos, por ejemplo suele ayudar a Robin cuando está parece que colapsada por estrés, ayuda y reprende a Mitch diciéndole que tenga más cuidado, Mike es como otro hijo para ella, todos los que fueron sus alumnos son como hijos para ella. Suele frecuentar mucho a Sara Bellum ya que son buenas amigas y es grato poder recordar buenos tiempos, extraña a las chicas y a el profesor, por lo que es de las pocas personas que aún visita su tumba. Ella sufre una sordera parcial (por eso usa un aparato) ya que sufrió una lesión durante un ataque, pero eso no la detiene de seguir esforzándose y ayudar, también esta entrenada ya que fue un requerimiento si quería ser enfermera pero no suele estar al frente. Tiene un hijo que perdió durante un ataque por lo que aún está buscándolo, nadie sabe quién es padre pero todos sospechan que es de él Profesor (tuvieron una relación hasta que el murió, por lo que persderlo y después a las chicas la devastó) espera reunirse con él, el niño actualmente tendría 8 años.

The Background Six aren't gonna be finished for a bit (character designs take time, especially when you're writing a final paper), so I'm gonna post the current "final" draft of Lyra now.

Lyra is Ponyville's resident eccentric artist. Although young, she's got plenty of ambition that'll take her far one day... hopefully. She's still working on her sci-fi book manuscript about an aliens with weird, fleshy meat hooks. As her side gig, she helps put together productions at Ponyville's local theater. She also enjoys singing jazz, dancing, and painting.

She's a Romaniote Jew, her family originally from Athens, Greece and immigrating to New York City in the late 1800s.

Honestly I hadn't given it all that much thought?? Sometimes when I gain an f/o I'm really crazy about I just jump right into like...an established relationship, but it's so much fun to think about those early awkward days!!

Utonium being the hopeless and awkward romantic that he is, I think he'd want to do something very traditional. A nice dinner at a fairly fancy restaurant and a walk in the park under the stars, but given the nature of the show I'm sure things would go pretty wrong pretty fast! It'd be cute if the sort of 'plot' of the episode was the girls doing everything in their power to make sure NOTHING goes wrong by following them around and beating up villains or monsters who might try to interrupt the lovebirds! 😂 but despite ups and downs the date ends up being successful and they share their first kiss, initiated by Jane because Utonium is a little too shy for it 👉👈💖💖

The episode “Keen on Keane” has caused me irreparable damage to my frontal lobe. I was 8 years old and jealous of a school teacher because she was going out with a rectangle in a lab coat. Sickening.

Yo is Mitch afraid of hamsters now? Don’t know what happened to Twiggy, but I like to headcanon that Ms. Keen still has her and one day it’s Brit’s turn to take her home.

Me personally I headcanon that Ms. Keane made Mitch take mutated Twiggy home after. Thinkin' about it now idk why she'd make Twiggy's abuser take her home after all that he's done to her but then again Twiggy is larger than him and probably has more triumph because of it so...

I could sorta imagine a Gustavo and Brick type dynamic where it's a lil brown haired guy and his giant animal companion, which is basically why I came up with this headcanon lol

I could also imagine funny scenarios happening with them

I do like the headcanon that Ms. Keane kept her tho

General Rowdyruff Boy Headcanons I Plan to Incorporate Into My Fic(s)

Both Butch and Boomer are musically inclined (Boomer preferring the guitar, while Butch sticks to the drums) and are pretty good singers. Brick, on the other hand, is completely tone deaf and has yet to realize it (thus crushing Butch's secret fantasy of becoming a rock band called "The Rowdyrock Boys").

Brick's guilty pleasures are boy groups ever since the events of IDW #10 Comic.

Both Butch and Boomer are also athletes in school; Boomer focuses more on team sports (football, basketball, soccer) while Butch plays more individualized sports (swimming, wrestling, gymnastics). Brick thinks he's too cool to play for a school or organization (and if he can't lead, then what's the point).

Everyone assumes Boomer's the nicest, but he's not, he's just the more outgoing, charming extrovert brother out of the three.

The actual nicest brother is Butch, he's the least likely to hurt/harass/threaten a random bystander without provocation, and is surprisingly (and somewhat eerily) chill when not in the company of his brothers.

Butch had the most codependent tendencies, and was often a reluctant yes man to his brothers (mostly Brick).

Brick is dyslexic, it took Ms. Keane a week to realize while home-schooling him.

With the boys being adopted by Ms. Keane, Brick takes the longest to warm up to her. He's very wary of and cold towards authoritative figures, ESPECIALLY parental figures.

After Boomer's done antagonizing her, he becomes the first to open up to Ms. Keane.

Valentino warmed up to Brick first, however. Butch became rather jealous at the fact.

After many instances of hair pulling, and an incident involving Butch, Boomer, and a whole pack of chewed chewing gum, Brick decides to keep his hair shorter.

Brick's the best and most experienced cook out of the three.

A part of Mojo truly does care for the Rowdyruff Boys, but it's not healthy. He's much too obsessive, as if they were his property or weapons of mass destruction.

Boomer has the power of electrokinesis. He's able to "charge up" with nearly any electrical device or lightning itself, and also charge/power down electrical devices. Too much electricity in his system causes him to shock others unprovoked or "short-circuit". This came in handy with their ankle monitors during their house arrest, and at school where he caused power outages that resulted in early dismissals. The most he's ever absorbed (so far) had caused an entire blackout in the city of Townsville (Butch was beating him at an arcade game).

Boomer later discovers (with the help of Blossom) that he can act as a defibrillator to the Powerpuffs and Rowdyruffs in a pinch (I originally got the idea from @faeerrie).

Butch's ability to generate force fields has progressed to the point that he can generate force fields around other people/items not including himself. He discovered this during one of Brick's training regimens when he threatened to destroy Butch's possessions until Butch was able to pull it off.

Butch's force fields though require a lot of focus on Butch's end, especially if he's protecting something other than himself.

Butch can also move items/people while in his force field.

Despite no longer aiming to kill the Powerpuff Girls, Brick still held secret training sessions at night. They couldn't afford to get sloppy in case they had to protect themselves against the girls (or Mojo and/or HIM, which was his main concern).

Brick doesn't have a unique power, just like Buttercup. Since their Chemical X cells aren't working harder to produce new powers, this allows for these two (and spoiler alert: Brat) to be just a little bit faster, a little bit stronger, and a little more endurable than their siblings.

However, like the Powerpuff Girls, the boys have shared telepathy. They're able to communicate with themselves internally, but only if all three are within a certain distance and if all three are "willing".

Boomer was often the neglected kid of the trio while under Mojo's and/or HIM's "care".

Boomer managed to hide a Beebo in the house for years. He named them "Bob".

Initially, the Rowdyruff Boys and the Gangreen Gang had a frenemy type relationship. The gang felt like the boys were too similar to the Powerpuffs, and attempted to manipulate them into their bidding. Meanwhile, the boys thought the gang was kinda cool, but also a little lame.

They later bond with the Gangreen Gang post- Gorillaz era when they learn that Grubber and Billy are illegally taking care of a Beebo themselves, and that they're cool with Mitch.

@andysuriano really knocked it out of the park!

Not only are the manga-esque Special Fantasy Sequences in the PPG episode "Substitute Creature" wildly outrageous, but Andy Suriano's rough but realistic caricatures of gorgeous Ms. Keane and the Pokey Oaks Kindergarten students are solid and outstanding!

Andy deserves more appreciation for this.

I know everyone agrees that the live action show that never happened would've been A Bad Idea, but hypothetically speaking, if we ever did get a live action show, it's kind of interesting to think of who would play each role.

For Professor Utonium, I think that full house era Bob Saget would've been perfect, but unfortunately that would be impossible now. I think maybe someone like Topher Grace could do well in his stead.

I've also seen someone suggest Christina Hendricks for Ms. Bellum, and I think she has the look down pat. She rocked her role in Mad Men.

For Sedusa, I think Megan Fox or Liz Giles would be great

Amy Acker would be perfect for Ms. Keane imo. Loved her character in Angel

The PPG themselves are honestly super hard for me to cast and I can't think of anyone off the top of my head, but I do think the Live Action show's choice of Dove Cameron for an older Bubbles was a decent one. I could also see Elle Fanning rocking the role.
