I loved the Zeus - Posedion conversation so much because it is the most sibling tm scene in the show so far (after Posedion intervened and stopped his brother from literally murdering his son). They're literally at war one second, there's some levity a second later when they decide they're on the same side and then the youngest brother has to rub in the fact that he won and that he's going to tell everyone else in the family ASAP much to the older brother's absolute annoyance as he rolls his eyes. Not to mention "Who knows about father?" "... Hermes " "So... everyone knows?" Hermes canonically being the biggest blabber in Olympus lmao.

annabeth cutting off that iris message before percy could talk about hermes SHDFLKGSHDF. going basically like: "think about your daddy issues with poseidon. now multiply that times twelve with him about hermes. exactly"

I think it’s kinda funny I see so many people angry about Percy going to college and saying to give Percy a break and let him rest. I’m pretty sure that’s what Percy wants and that’s exactly why he’s going to college. A college specifically designed for students like him. He wants a normal life and to spend time with Annabeth like a normal couple rather than saving the world over and over.

I think people focus on him hating school and are ignoring that compared to saving the world every few months college will be a breeze. His school for troubled youths or whatever, I am sure was awful and treated him badly. That is not the experience he’s going to have at New Rome. First, the school is made for demigods with adhd and dyslexia in mind. And that has to help tremendously! Second, he has Annabeth and he’ll be able to make a stronger support group than he was ever capable of doing at his old schools. Third, he wants to be there. Fourth, it’s college. College is fun. Not for everyone, but I am going to guess for Percy it will be. You get to pick what classes you want to take. The topics you’re interested in and want to learn. You go to class a few hours a day and then you’re free. College can definitely be a nice relaxing fun time. Will it be like that for Annabeth? No, because that’s not what she wants out of college. But if that’s what Percy wants he should be able to get that.

My issue with the whole storyline, other than the fact it’s obviously bullshit he needs recommendations from the gods, and the fact that he’ll apparently never age, is he has to move to California. Percy loves New York so much I hate to see him live it. When you think Percy you think New York and I think Percy would like that connection. He is so proud of his city and loves it so much. He also loves Camp Half-Blood. My hope is that he gets his education at New Rome. Sees how it’s all done and brings that all back to Camp Half-Blood. The Greek demigods should be allowed to go to a demigod school and have a safe demigod city to live in that matches more of their lifestyle.

I'm still losing it over Posedion saving Percy in episode 8. I was a bit wary when the show had them miss the solstice deadline, I'm not going to lie, but that payoff was so beyond worth it. Percy had resided himself to his fate, he closed his eyes and waited for Zeus to smite him, he didn't pray, and he didn't plead or beg for his life; he had accepted that he was on his own, but Posedion decided that his son, that Sally Jackson's son, mattered more to him than his pride. He made the decision to intervene and surrender. He chose to set aside his pride, his pride, which is a defining part of who Posedion is as a God in the stories. Yet he surrenders without hesitation. He does set his pride aside for percy in the books too in tlo, but Percy had to ask him to do so. Percy in the show never had to ask. I want to jump off a cliff but like in a good way

It was the first week where it actually felt like fall. The leaves were changing and the weather was turning damp and cold. It was the first fall that Sungho had suffered experienced since joining Poseidon. Sungho never liked, in fact he’d even say he hates fall. Sure, the changing leaves were pretty, but they would fall, and gather in piles. And as soon as it rains the damp leaves would become a breeding ground for any and everything Sungho was allergic to. 

Poseidon has just finished their first official interview since their debut. And the five members were walking back to their dorm. Not because they had been forgotten by their company, but purely because they wanted to walk. It was fairly warm, a nice break from the rainy cold days that had been plaguing the area for the past week. About halfway back to the dorm they stopped at a park, wanting to have a bit of fun to celebrate their debut. In the middle of the park there were piles of leaves that had been raked for kids to jump into. Without hesitation, both Sungho and Connor raced each other, jumping into the piles of leaves. Throwing Connor tossed a handful of leaves at the maknae. Sungho gave an exasperated look. Connor laughed at the maknae’s playful glare. “Jaeyoon can you control your boyfriend?” Sungho whined at Jaeyoon, who laughed and shook his head. Sungho pouted, “Xiaoling hyung he’s bullying me!” 

“Connor be nice to the baby” Xiaoling scolded Connor, but with no real threat in his words. “I’m not a baby!” Sungho protested, an unironically adorable pout on his face. He sniffled, his nose had gotten so itchy after receiving a face-full of leaves. The maknae barely had time to process this before Connor dive tackled him sideways into the leaves. Sungho gasped in shock at this, and unintentionally inhaled a handful of dust, pollen, and mold spores. He pushed Connor off of him, and ducked into his elbow. “hhetshu- eehtshu- hhtchuh- hhtshhu- bless me” The maknae rubbed at his itchy nose. “bless you” Connor said, holding his hand out and pulling the maknae to his feet. Sungho thanked him, rubbing his nose. He turned away from his him members, “hhttshu-hhshu- heshew- bless m-htshu- hetsshu- bless me” 

“are you okay?” Xiaoling asked the maknae, who had a pink flush over his whole face. Sungho nodded, rubbing his nose on his sleeve, which didn’t seem to help much at all, in fact it seemed to make it worse, as his sweater sleeve was covered in the debris from the leaves. He sneezed again, he blessed himself, looking quite embarrassed. “Sung, are you sure you’re okay?” Sangyeon asked, he looked quite worried about the maknae. Sungho nodded, “just a bit itchy” he explained, pawing at his nose. The others looked concerned, “Sungho are you-”

“hhtshu- eektshu- hhsshiu- bless me”

“bless you, are you allergic to leaves?” Sungho stubbornly shook his head. “I told you guys that I’m okay” the others gave him matching disbelieving looks. The leader was the first one to speak, “we should head back to the dorm. Whether it’s allergies or not, something seems to be really bothering you” Sungho wanted to protest, and insist to his members that he was fine, but in reality he knew he was having an allergic reaction and that he would only get worse if he didn’t shower off and get changed. So the maknae nodded, “can I have the first shower?” he asked his hyungs shyly. They all nodded, Sangyeon looked worried about the maknae, He walked next to Sungho as they walked back to the dorm. Jaeyoon and Connor walked together, holding hands. Xiaoling walked towards the back, by himself. Feeling a bit nervous, the prospect of Sungho accidentally sneezing on him made him feel a bit sick to him stomach. He had noticed that the maknae was very good and careful about fully covering his face when he sneezed. Which Xiaoling appreciated. 

Sangyeon grew more and more concerned watching the maknae, it seemed like every few minutes he would turn away and muffle a handful of itchy sounding sneezes into his elbow. "Sung-" "Hyung, I'm seriously fine" the maknae stubbornly spoke, predicting (correctly) what the leader was about to ask. Sangyeon didn’t believe Sungho at all, I mean how could he, Sungho hand’t stopped sneezing, and his nose and eyes were both red, and itchy looking. The entire walk to the dorm Sungho was sneezing, and by the time they got back he was completely miserable. As soon as he stepped in the front door of the dorm he made a bee line to the box of tissues sitting on the coffee table in the living room. He blew his nose, the other members cringing, mostly in sympathy. “Sung, how about you take a shower” Connor suggested, looking concerned for the maknae. Sungho playfully glared, “I don’t smell that bad” He jokingly said, but after seeing the unamused looks on his hyung’s faces he just nodded, “yeah, I’ll go do that” He left the room. 

“I hope he’s okay” Connor looked worried about him, and slightly guilty. “do you think he was allergic to the leaves?” Jaeyoon shrugged, “It seems like that, but he also said no when we asked him if he’s allergic to leaves”

“I mean, he did also say that he was fine” Sangyeon said, the others agreed, “maybe we just need to as a group bring up allergies, maybe if the rest of us do, he will be less uncomfortable and more willing to talk to us” Xiaoling explained, the others agreed.

A couple of minutes later the maknae returned, and anyone could look at him and know he was suffering. His eyes were bloodshot and swollen and his nose was bright pink. “hey buddy, how’re you feeling?” Connor asked, bringing full attention to the maknae. Sungho shrugged, “better” 

“do you need to take anything?” Xiaoling asked, his voice kept soft and gentle. Sungho looked a bit embarrased. “yeah, I- hhekshu- hhktshu- eetchshu- hh-hhktchhu- hhtcchu- bless me” he sniffled, taking a tissue from the box that Jaeyoon extended. There was a blush over the maknae’s face, “I have my allergy medicine in my room, I’ll go get it” He left, returning a moment later, he showed it to them, “just so you know I’m actually going to take it, not just pretend” his band mates smiled at him, finding him adorable. He still looked embarrassed. “Sung, you don’t need to be embarrassed” Sungho shook his head, “I was sneezy and gross” He said softly, Sangyeon went over to the maknae and placed his hand on Sungho’s shoulder. “You aren’t gross Sung, there’s nothing wrong with having allergies” Sangyeon assured the maknae, who shyly looked up to meet the leader’s eyes. Sangyeon smiled encouragingly, “I understand how you feel Sung, just wait until spring” he laughed awkwardly, “I’ll be sneezing my head off” Sungho smiled, “we can be miserable together” the maknae said, Sangyeon laughed. Xiaoling spoke up, “yeah, I’m allergic to dust, so if I don’t clean my room... well, it’s not pretty” Sungho smiled, “dust is like the only thing I’m not allergic to” Xiaoling pretended to be offended by the maknae’s comment. Jaeyoon shrugged, “I’m allergic to cats” the other four members looked at him like he’s crazy, “Jae, you have two cats” Sangyeon said, and Connor nodded, “yeah, he’s crazy. Do you know the number of times I’ve been woken up to Jae sneezing because he cat climbed in bed with him” The others rolled their eyes and gave exasperated sighs directed at Jaeyoon, who sheepishly laughed. “I’m not allergic to anything” Connor said confidently, Jaeyoon snorted a laugh at that, “is that why you’re always sneezing during spring?” Connor shook his head, “I’m not allergic to anything” Jaeyoon shook his head, and turned to the others, “he’s just in denial, he’s allergic to pollen” Connor rolled his eyes at his boyfriend, the others just watched, not wanting to get involved in the squabble between the lovers. 

“ANYWAYS!” Sangyeon said, bringing the attention away from the bickering couple, “Sungho, there’s nothing wrong with having allergies, I understand it can be a bit embarrassing, but trust me, we wouldn’t ever judge you for anything, especially not allergies” Sungho smiled at his bandmates, “thanks guys, sorry for being so stubborn” The others just shrugged it off, “It’s alright” Xiaoling said, “but, just so we know, what are you allergic to? Just in case” it made sense to know, I mean allergic reactions could be serious and the others just wanted to make sure the maknae was safe. “pollen, ragweed and mold and then I’m just kinda sneezy in general. I went to an allergist one time and they said that my nasal passages are really small so it is easier to irritate my nose. So I’m just kinda sensitive to everything” he explained, the others nodded. “are you allergic to cats? I can keep them out of your room if you need” Sungho shrugged, “no, it’s okay. Besides it might be better to keep them in my room” He said playfully smirking at Jaeyoon who rolled his eyes as Connor laughed, “he has a point you know” 

“oh leave me alone” jaeyoon said glaring at his boyfriend, Sungho smiled, “don’t you mean leaf you alone” he laughed at his own joke, while the others facepalmed. 

Isn't it weird on how I can picture SB! Poseidon singing "Gaston" except it's all about him? XD
