Heads up: Poptropica is officially moving to CoolMathGames.com. The date will be announced sometime soon.
Currently there’s no official statement on whether or not the Poptropica site will officially shut down following this move (and if so, when will that happen), or what will happen to Steam or the mobile app.
(In case of any updates, this post was made on January 18 2024, 3:05 PM EST)

mobile apps i think the poptropica characters would play:
bes- bad piggies. he likes that he can put the pigs in vehicles and also he thinks the soundtrack goes hard
claria- she plays sudoku and word searches for fun.
amelia- candy crush. she is currently on level 257 :) i also think she would play farmville because why not
cinder- call of duty. no i. dont have a reason for this you just have to see my vision
snow white- cats and soup. she thinks that the game is super cute :)
rumplestiltskin- he doesnt have any games on his phone but occasionally he will pull out the pocket whip app to annoy everyone around him. (for context the pocket whip app is just an app that makes a whip cracking noise whenever you move your phone. its incredibly funny if used correctly)
mayor naise- those really bad oversaturated ad-filled mobile games you see at used as gameplay at the bottom on youtube shorts. it just kinda speaks to him. alternatively if you dont like that interpretation of his character- i would say he would play weird aquarium. its so out of there for no reason.
bosko- flying gorilla.
weight guesser- if he lived in modern times he would be obsessed with genshin impact im so sorry. he would lose all his belongings and savings to a gacha game.

What is poptropica? Is a game, cartoon or Movie? Never heard that before...
Poptropica is a game that had a lot of islands that your character goes to and each island is a different story/adventure. Though sadly due to Flash not being a thing anymore most if the islands aren't around anymore. There is a Poptropica steam pack thing that you could buy to see some of the old islands but it's like $20. But there is a mobile app of Poptropica which has some of the islands on it. But If you don't want to download the Poptropica app you can find Poptropica Island lets plays thanks to the wonderful YouTuber Thinknoodles! Anyways I hope that makes sense to what Poptropica is and I hope you have a wonderful day/evening/night!

Top 5......Let's go with video games.
I admittedly don't play a lot of video games. At least not any AAA games. Most of them are mobile or flash games (like poptropica and the papa's franchise) so it's gonna be hard to compile a top 5 with my limited games that I've played
1) Genshin Impact
If that wasn't blatantly obvious enough, Genshin is my number 1 at the moment. Graphics, story, world building and music has been an absolute stunner. Character designs goes so hard as well. 2 years since I've started playing and still going strong
2) Minecraft
Just a fun classic game. Am I good at it? No but its fun to travel around, build houses and farm. Also suck at building cute houses lmao. I also have a lot of nostalgia for the game
3) To the Moon
Fuck me did this game make me cry. The story was engaging and man do they know how to pull at the heart strings.
4) Tears of Themis
Is it a moba game? Yes idk if it considered an actual video game but I'm adding it here bc I'm currently obsessed with it. The story actually is good and the gameplay is pretty interesting. It is very story heavy so it does require a lot of attention but it's been pretty fun so far ignoring that it is another gacha game
5) Sims 4
Mostly for the create a sim aspect tbh. CC shopping is a very dangerous slope and it's been super fun just kinda creating sims. Maybe if I got the actual expansion packs that add to the game play I'd enjoy the actual gameplay or had a challenge I could do like work towards like the 100 baby challenge or something.

Yoo, check out this picture
This seems ancient (to me because I did not play Zomberry Island back then) and I Found this in the Poptropica wiki.
Tumblr media
Such a shame that the product roadmap plans did not make it into the real thing. Say, is it just me or does the game in the pad looks familiar? Not sure what it is, but it looks like some scene that is unseen/cut off in the Zomberry Day Zero Comic...But then again, that could be just me. Like, look at the bottom panels of the comic...
Tumblr media
The bottom panels look like the start of the said game from the pad, hinting that the game from the pad is about getting Joe Puddy into safety...if you can squint at one of the mobile games of the Product Roadmap picture, you could see that this could be Joe or someone else...The reason for this is because the pad's game looks like something from the Zomberry Day Zero comic.
So therefore...Joe Puddy is the second island protagonist (First one being Ned Noodlehead from Superpower Island) and is the supportive character for the player (if the Duo Trope exists in Poptropica) to have a comic!
Ok I will shut up now...

When an ancient statue in a summer camp for brave adventurers suddenly speaks about a calamity that could wipe out all of Poptropica, four adventurers head off into the world in an attempt to fulfill a prophecy...
(idk how to add tags on mobile so gonna do that later)

a few years ago, before adobe flash keeled over, i remember getting on the silver laptop i have at my dad's house. it's very slow, but not the worst. I remember getting on cool math games and seeing poptropica and going "oh hey i forgot about that!" before then, i had only played poptropica on the mobile app, so i only ever played a few islands. I was also very bad at it, because i was 6 when i first played. While i was looking through the islands, i saw one that caught my eye. Monster carnival. I didn't think too hard about it, I just clicked on it immediately because circuses are cool. I didn't get too far, but i got to the point where i had just met Ringmaster Raven. I remember trying to costumize his mask because i saw it and immediately went "Plague doctor!!!" i used the costumizer but it showed him without the mask. I didn't question it and went "aw damn, no cool mask for me :(" I proceeded to close the laptop, because it was getting late and i was sure i was going to finish it later.
I never did get to finish it.

Club Penguin (and other kids MMO) Headcanons:
Kris: Played a lot of these games back in the day, but stayed away from any where you played as humans. Utterly repulsed by MovieStarPlanet, and Bearville gave off the wrong vibes. Would open a bunch of tabs and then go left to right, doing dailies in Animal Jam, Moshi Monsters, etc. Then the final one was usually Club Penguin, where they just observed the twilight and prep roleplayers for amusement. Some would accuse them of being a 'too cool for you' penguin but they never actually talked enough for that to apply beyond the way they dressed. Noelle showed them Webkinz one day, and the way that the plush addressed the player and had their heart filled... Ooh that did not sit right after current events.
Susie: Messed around with Binweevils in like 2018, and absolutely wanted to recreate that experience with her new pals + girlfriend post chapter 2 only to realize the game shut down. One of the two MMOs she actually played in her childhood years was Moshi Monsters, and even then that was on the library computers (internet at home is a bit shaky) and she did Not care for it. The second was Animal Jam, where she'd barge in on random people's roleplays- at first to mess around but eventually to actually get into it, always making things a bit gorier when she did. First friend made not just to access their den turned out to be Noelle. She feels like she vaguely remembers Club Penguin but those memories were actually of CPMVs with way too many effects that she used to watch. Played a few CPPSes where they give you commands and tried to make the absolute worst outfits possible.
Noelle: Owns a few Webkinz and has fond memories, but quit after Webkinz X happened. Recently she attempted to get back into it, but she find it just doesn't have the same charm it used to (and she doesn't want to shell out money for another plush). Thanks to her complaints Berdly now brings up Webkinz Next as a key example of microtransactions bad when he's ranting about why he hates mobile games so much. Roleplayed scenarios as wolves in Animal Jam with lots of people, but most prominently a username she would eventually find out was Susie. Played Club Penguin very briefly in late 2014, and while Frozen (her first party) rubbed her the wrong way, she'll always have a fondness for Skip the Bellhop and his party. One of her first 'wait I actually like scary things' awakenings, even if Halloween 2014 wasn't really all that 'scary'.
Berdly: The one I've thought the most about. He's more of a Toontown person in terms of kids MMOs (yeah he's only played ttr, too young for the original... will attempt to flex his laff on you, even if he isn't close to a 137. Still has fun with the boss fights occasionally, chats in ttc if he's desperate for attention but nobody's on) but checked out Club Penguin around the time Toontown shut down. He went around and played all the minigames a few times for a couple of months, but never stuck around because he could never really find a friend group that wanted him around. When all conversation stopped upon him entering the room... He was out. Claims the real reason he quit was because he didn't want to hit the paywall anymore. Played Wizard 101 once until he hit the paywall, has meant to get into Old School RuneScape but never actually played it, despite having Sea Shanty 2 in his playlist. Tried to play Poptropica but can't solve most of the puzzles but shhh don't tell anyone.

Psssst, poptropica has an app and you can play it in-browser on mobile (on iOS leastways, I don't got android)! The current poptropica has about a dozen or two islands up and running, but flashpoint (which you do need a computer for unfortunately) does have all the rest of them!
yeah! ive played the mobile version and i recently redownloaded it on my phone! they just got rid of Most of the islands :( but i definitely do plan on replaying what theyve got!
