my sister was scared of pooh's grand adventure too
holy shit that's so validating. unfortunately i was like 10+ years old but my childhood ocd became absolutely CONVINCED that they were about to leave tigger to die in the gorge. i turned it off in pure dread before i got to see them all go down there to get him out 😂

My thoughts on all of Disney’s theatrically release Winnie The Pooh Films +1
The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh (1977)
You can tell this is a collection of short films. It’s very scattershot and the characters feel off (and I’ve never vibed with the Story Book films)
Pooh’s Most Grand Adventure: The Search For Christopher Robin (1997)
An adorable adventure with banger musical numbers and good crying
The Tigger Movie (2000)
Wholesome found family film that has a massive disaster set piece climax that I’m not too fond of
Piglet’s Big Movie (2003)
SO ADORABLE. Shorts with a cohesive theme, a comfy soundtrack and happy crying!!!
Pooh’s Heffalump Movie (2005)
Fun film about how Friendship is better than Racism, it’s super cute
Winnie The Pooh (2011)
A more cohesive collection of shorts that, while fun, I never feel inclined to watch again but the “Not Knot” bit pure gold
Christopher Robin (2018)
Disney’s Live-Action department proves they’re not creatively bankrupt with a wholesome film about reconnecting with your childhood self and learning to be a better parent

I would personally like to meet the writers of Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin so I can personally ask them why they made this movie so sad.
I've cried twice and I'm not even 10 minutes into this movie and I know I will cry my eyes out when Pooh sings wherever you are
How dare they send several emotional gut punches in a Pooh bear movie. Also almost every single character looses hope at one point or another!
Piglet truly struggles with his lack of bravery, Tigger goes into a sadness spiral when he can't catch the ripped map because he can't bounce high enough, Rabbit has a whole breakdown when he can't figure out the stupid map Owl made them and Pooh SINGS THE SADDEST SONG I HAVE EVER HEARD!
