I would personally like to meet the writers of Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin so I can personally ask them why they made this movie so sad.
I've cried twice and I'm not even 10 minutes into this movie and I know I will cry my eyes out when Pooh sings wherever you are
How dare they send several emotional gut punches in a Pooh bear movie. Also almost every single character looses hope at one point or another!
Piglet truly struggles with his lack of bravery, Tigger goes into a sadness spiral when he can't catch the ripped map because he can't bounce high enough, Rabbit has a whole breakdown when he can't figure out the stupid map Owl made them and Pooh SINGS THE SADDEST SONG I HAVE EVER HEARD!

I'm out here in the dark, all alone and wide awake
Come and find me
I'm empty and I'm cold, and my heart's about to break
Come and find me

holy shit that's so validating. unfortunately i was like 10+ years old but my childhood ocd became absolutely CONVINCED that they were about to leave tigger to die in the gorge. i turned it off in pure dread before i got to see them all go down there to get him out 😂

🦉🐯 The personalities of owls in animation range from wise mentors to comedic types. When I was a kid, I oftened called friends and family members names of cartoon characters that match their personalities. For example, Grandpa Dale reminded me of Owl from the “Winnie the Pooh” cartoons due to his frequent words or wisdom and his habit of taking an afternoon nap. I based this drawing on a picture I saw on a blog post by former Disney animator Andreas Deja. It is of a scene from the 2011 “Winnie the Pooh” movie in which everyone has gathered at Owl’s house discussing their fear of Christopher Robin’s alleged abduction perpetrated by the dreaded monstrous Backson. Deja actually animated a small bit of Owl and Tigger interacting. The late Dale Baer was the lead animator for Owl. 🐾🌳

A Sorrowful Tune For Wally
I think we know hints and pieces already that Wally is reaching out to the visitors on the sight, but it also makes me think guy has been lonely for years. There are some who say that he’s been the only one alive and yearns for his friends to come back. And others think he’s yearning for the creators to come back and that he and his friends would be remembered again. And again if it’s the latter with wanting his creator to come back and remember him I do think it would give him abandonment issues and wonder what he had done wrong to deserve being cut off.
Again all around making him a tragic figure and it reminds me of this song form the movie Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search For Christopher Robin-which any 90′s kids knows is an underrated masterpiece for a direct to home video, especially it’s end credit’s version which in tv tropes terms is called an award bait song. It’s a ballad that usually plays at the end of a movie that was usually sung during the movie itself or a whole new song itself. I do think this song would describe Wally’s potential hopelessness and loss of his creator either/or friends. It would be a good idea for an animatic for anyone who would want to feature a more glum side of Wally that has hidden his insecurities for years and relying only on Home to keep him sane.

Incorrect Our Flag Means Death
Ed: Stede, if there's ever a tomorrow where we are not together, there's something you must remember.
Stede (sleepily): (Yawns) And what might that be, Edward?
Ed: You're braver than you believe and stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.
Stede (groggy and drowsy, smiling): Oh...Oh, that's easy. We're...braver than a bee...And-a...longer than a tree...And taller than a goose...Or is it a moose?
Ed: (Chuckles) No, dearie ol' Stede. You're braver than you believe and stronger than you seem...And smarter than you think.
Stede: (Falls asleep, resting on Ed's shoulder)
Ed: But the most important thing is... (He gives his leather gloves to Stede, closing his hands on them.) Even if we are apart, I'll always be with you...I'll always be with you...(He bends towards him) Always be with you... (He kisses Stede)
