The way French journalist are angry at Sciences Po’s protests for Palestine is funny cause at some point all of them say “This is the future elite of our country and they are too far on the left” and “the future elite of our country is being manipulated by the islamists it’s so scary” 😂
I don’t associate Sciences Po with good things because of my personal experience (it’s not Sciences Po’s fault it’s my high school’s fault if anyone is interested about how it’s like to be used as a token and to have the school lying to your parents to be able to still use you I can tell you the story 😂) but these students are doing things right and the way they are scaring white supremacists is so fucking enjoyable.

French police have detained a man who threatened to blow himself up at Iran’s consulate in Paris.
Police found no explosives at the consulate or on the suspect who was detained there on Friday, French prosecutors said, after the consulate reported a man had entered with ammunition.
Police arrested the suspect, born in 1963 in Iran, when he exited of his own accord after appearing to have “threatened violent action” inside, the Agence France-Presse (AFP) news agency quoted the Paris prosecutor’s office as saying.
“No explosive materials have been observed at this stage” either on him, in his car or in the building, prosecutors said. [...]

The anti roma racism that people are showing in France making jokes about Kendji Girac (he got shot and is between life and death) are disgusting,
Anyone saying this is not anti roma racism is a fucking idiot because had a white singer been shot they would never ever make jokes about it the way they do with Kendji Girac. Making jokes about how they “interviewed his family” (the didn’t) and then talking in gibberish to imitate said family
and you end up seeing a bunch of white people laughing as if it was funny when it’s just disgusting.

A traditionally right wing and Zionist newspaper in France (Marianne) published an article against Meyer Habib (a Zionist French representative who is close to Netanyahu) accusing him of weaponizing antisemitism as well as being a religious fanatic.
The fact that a news paper who is usually racist as fuck towards Muslims and more largely toward SWANA people in general is doing this is not an accident
they are seeing things sifting and they are trying to pretend they were on the right side of history.
(It might also be because they are trying to sell the newspaper so they figured they should look a tiny bit less racist)
The article here (behind a paywall I have screenshots from someone else if needed)

Me: *watching Arabs hate on colonialism and display anti-colonialism arguments while eating dinner*
Me: *wipe my mouth*
Me: so what is your stance on Western Sahaara?
(aka me waiting for ppl to show up and call u out on Fitna because they choose selective eyesight and hearing, so i can say once again beli machi Rjal)
Too many Arabs (especially the Maghrebi diaspora in France) think that way
and a lot of them will condemn Saudi Arabia or Qatar so it’s not even about Arab solidarity or whatever. They really have a blind spot when it comes to Western Sahara. In the diaspora it’s often a way to look united. The amount of times I saw people going “they already hate us so we shouldn’t be divided”
I do think being in the diaspora especially in a country as hostile as France means that we have to fight differently but it doesn’t mean putting aside our principles. It means we have to be careful about not accepting support from people who are not anti Moroccan colonialism because they hate colonialism but rather because they hate Arabs. The ones who say Free Western Sahara but won’t acknowledge the role the West especially Spain and France play in the colonization of Western Sahara (without support from the West, Morocco wouldn’t be able to sustain the situation)
That being said I personally only meet this type of people online. In real life the situation is more likely to be “What is Western Sahara?” than “I stand with Morocco”.
And the accusations of fitna get on my nerves. If they wanna get all religious on us please enlighten us how is that fitna to defend our Muslim siblings in Western Sahara but it’s not fitna to colonize, kill, torture and rape them? (While using the same Israeli drones who are used to kill Palestinians).
When Ben Bella (Allah yarhmou) said to the Organisation of African Unity “We fought for 7 years and a half against the most obstinate imperialism that could exist. We have no right to think about ourselves when people are still falling in South Africa, Angola and Mozambique.” He was right and he mentioned only African countries because it was about African unity but it applies to all struggles against colonialism and imperialism. Some Arabs will claim the Algerian victory against colonialism as an Arab victory (it was an Algerian victory not an Arab one not even an Imazighen one) and then turn around and be surprised when the grand children of those who fought and lost their lives stand against colonialism today.
(I’m not going to mention the Arab leaders they are sell outs to my knowledge Tebboune is the only one who stands firmly with the Sahrawi people.)

Yeah, I'm very aware of the Greater Morocco thing (they even claim Madeira for themselves), but I was msotly focused on the actual fact that Spain still maintains their colonial remnants in North Africa and refuses to acknowledge it. Btw, also in the 60s the USSR (especifically Ukraine) and Bulgaria were also the first ones to try and pressure the UN to consider the Canary Islands as colonies instead of overseas territories.
(And I think a while ago I sent you an ask about how Algeria always supported independence for the Canary Islands and let independence movements from the islands at the time have secret meetings in the country.)
Yeah like Spain is definitely maintaining their colonial presence in North Africa. What I added about Morocco’s colonialism was also for people who will read the ask not knowing about it there was nothing wrong with your ask.
I remember that ask! Honestly everyone was holding secret and not so secret meetings in Algeria for their independence at some point 😂 I remember that tweet that said “at some point in history when your plane was hijacked it just meant the resistance to white supremacy of some country was gifting you a free trip to Algiers”. Even Britanny had its own office in Algiers for their independence at some point.

A thing that happened and went under the radar that I wanted to share: in a recent meeting in the UN, Morocco said they fully support the decolonization of the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Mellila from Spain, and now some Spanish fachos on twitter (who don't even live in the Islands) are maaaad as heck. They are now claiming Morocco just wants to "annex" them lmao.
This happenend because in case you missed it there were huge protests on the Canary Islands against mass tourism (not against turism itself, just how the government benefits expats more than the locals), as many Canarians have to ratio water so it can be used in hotels and golf clubs, and people are thrown out of their homes so more hotels can be built.
(There are many similarities on how Spain treats the Canary Islands with how the USA treats Puerto Rico, especifically regarding how the main government uses them for turism.)
Regarding Ceuta and Melilla Morocco claims it belongs to them (given Morocco expansionist desires it might be the case for the Canary Islands too
I mean they claim half of Algeria, all of Western Sahara and all of Mauritania so why wouldn’t they claim the Canary Islands too?)
So when they say they want to decolonize these pieces of land they mean they want them “back” they are not asking for self determination for the people who live there. They want the white colonizers to leave to then attack to claim the land for themselves.
The Spanish supremacists and colonizers are saying “this land belongs to us, Morocco is only saying this because they want them” and the part where they are wrong/lying is “this land belongs to us” not Morocco’s motivations.
In terms of decolonization while Moroccans can be allies (and often are except for Western Sahara) their government, and therefore the people they send to represent them at the UN, are the worst snakes. They are the last country who recognized the independence of Mauritania, they are currently colonizing Western Sahara with the same methods and arguments as “Israel”, they fucking declared war to Algeria a year after our independence to try and take part of our land, they also greatly helped Israel during the 6 days war inviting Mossad spies in the hotel where the strategy was prepared by the Arabs so they could listen to everything and prepare
when it ended up being too dangerous Morocco was like “nah don’t take risks I will tell you everything afterwards” (and they did).
I’m all for the independence of the Canary Islands. I personally believe that islands cannot belong to a “continental” country. The land ain’t even “stuck” to the rest of the country but we’re pretending it belongs to said country? Nah. But Morocco doesn’t want them to be free of colonialism they want them free of Spanish colonialism only.
P.S: To the people who will feel the need to call me out on fitna
no problem but you have to show me your post calling out Morocco for its fitna when they let the Israeli Ministry of foreign affairs say that Algeria was a threat to the region from Rabat, before signing a weapon deal with Israel and a couple month later using some of the drones they got during that deal to kill three Algerian truck drivers (aka civilians) who were going to Mauritania for a delivery. If you can’t provide a link of you calling out the fitna in that case that led to the death of Algerians then you can’t call me out to accuse me of fitna either.

just a reminder to COMPLETELY boycott Eurovision this year; Azerbaijan and Israel, despite committing genocide, are STILL allowed to compete & have NOT been banned. by refusing to ban both countries, Eurovision is profiting off of the genocide of Palestinians and Armenians.
do not listen to the artists. do not pirate or stream the artists' music, and this applies to ALL the artists who are competing and performing this year. do not listen to the songs on ANY platform, do not give them ANY attention.
write to your broadcasters and tell them you REFUSE to watch the channels until they recognise the Armenian and Palestinian genocides & that you find it disgusting how they are allowing Eurovision despite Azerbaijan and Israel's entries.
do NOT give eurovision OR the competing artists ANYTHING but silence.
boycott ALL of eurovision.

If what’s happening in France right now was happening in the Global South there would be talks about sending troops to bring democracy in France.
The leaders and big figures of the opposition who support Palestinians are getting summoned by the police one by one for refusing to call October 7th a terrorist attack (for the record a lot of them say that it was a war crime because it targeted civilians but not a terror attack so they don’t even support what happened).
All while letting Zionist who actually called for mass murder on live TV get away with it.
But you know what? As strange as it sounds it’s actually a good sign. One of the most violent day for Algerians during the war of liberation (17 October 1961) happened less than a year before the independence just a couple months actually (the independence was on July 5th 1962 but it was signed in March 1962). Because that’s how the colonizers behave and think. The crackdown in France, the new German law forbidding the use of Arabic and Hebrew at pro Palestinian protests, the crackdown in US universities
a wounded dying beast always get more violent. They are scared so they try to silence us harder. They know that it’s a matter of time that the fall of colonialism, imperialism and white supremacy will happen in our lifetime so they try to scare us into stopping the fight.
Don’t get me wrong it will be hard and won’t happen overnight but their reactions are convincing me that we will see a Free Palestine a Free Global South a Free world in our lifetimes.
(P.S: tagging the post with Palestine because my previous post being positive about the outcome seemed to help some people who felt hopeless so I hope this one will help too. That being said we don’t have the right to give up the fight and we shouldn’t give up hope either. None of us is free until all of us are.)

In Marseille the homophobic (catholic) far right organized a conference called “Wokisme a danger for families?”. LGBT+ activists were present around the conference to protest.
A group of 3 men infiltrated the protest and started attacking and harassing people so one of the activist went to them and asked them if they were cops. They said no and kept insulting the group calling them “dirty fa****” saying their existence was “against the natural order” trying to punch people. Eventually one of the activists pulled out a pepper spray to defend himself. Immediately the cops came to separate the activist group from the 3 masked men. One of the 3 masked men who was insulting them the most still gave a huge punch in the eye of the activist who used the pepper spray breaking his bones and almost making him lose his eye.
A couple days later the activist was summoned by the police. The homophobic piece of shit who punched him filled a complain against him for “violence and insult against someone with public authority” the masked piece of shit was a cop dressed as a civilian.
One of the sources.

A Moroccan hijabi, Fatima Saidi, was spat on by a racist piece of shit in Paris.
The deputy mayor condemned the behavior saying “it goes against the spirit of tolerance and openness that represents so much Paris”. I laughed so fucking hard.
Paris is the same city who still use a racist chant to support their team when they face Marseille during a football game (when they say Marseille is filled with rats
they are not talking about the animal they are talking about Algerians specifically) but suuuuuuuuure “spirit of tolerance”. Meanwhile 3 other women wearing the hijab have been insulted and harassed but the government or the city didn’t say anything about it. They only pretended to care because Fatima is an influencer and she is not French she is Moroccan and lives in Spain so they are trying to keep up the illusion about not being racists (nobody believes that illusion anymore except white French people).
At the same time I can’t help it but notice that all those pieces of shit who are harassing Muslim women and women perceived as Muslim (aka Maghrebi/Black women) ONLY do it with women (while hijabi are more at risk they attack women in general) Never heard about a guy spitting on an Arab guy wearing a Qamis. I’ve had racist pieces of shit who insulted me unprovoked becoming the sweetest guys when they see me with my brothers. Because they are racists but they are cowards too.

One of the reasons they resist so much is that they know the liberation of Palestine with Israel’s fall will have a domino effect.
The thing is that getting Palestine free is both very difficult but not as difficult as getting South Africa free. South Africa had more resources than Israel does, it could hold out so much longer and still the apartheid was ended by people working tirelessly and boycotting and pushing for divestment and sanctions. These methods will work for freeing Palestine too.
I know it doesn't feel like there have been many successes, but all the politicians are feeling the pressure. Pressure that we are able to sustain and even increase as we come up with new initiatives and convince new people to join.
One of the reasons they're resisting our pressure so strongly is because they know that when we see gains we will push harder, we will continue to push until the stones falling becomes a rock fall and Palestine's freedom is secured. They know if we get a taste of the power we can wield we'll turn that onto freeing Congo too. They know we're unhappy and have been for a long time and their very secure system starts to look a lot less secure when we start mobilising to change things.
