On 9/15/22 my father overheard my uncle and grandparents talking about selling the house out from under myself, my two (minor) brothers, and my parents. That same night they went and put a deposit on a house that (thankfully) fell through.
Legally, there's nothing we can do because my uncle backed out of the agreement between himself and my parents to put my father's name on the deed to the house. He will not sell the house back to us.
Yesterday, 9/20/22, I came home to an eviction notice for failure to pay rent amongst other things. All of which is not true. For the last 2.5 years and up until 8 months ago, the mortgage was being payed out of a house fund, and after that, my parents took over the payments. To say we owe $44,000 in rent simply isn't possible.
My uncle is a sociopath, plain and simple. He will manipulate and lie to whoever he can to get more money. That is the only thing he cares about. My grandmother is too mentally ill to notice this and my grandfather simply enables both of their behavior. We are being forced out of our home by three vile, disgusting human beings.
