think when im back home im gonna set up my own standard hair color textures so i can just make hairs without worrying about that too much. not gonna work for every single hair idea im sure but having my own system in place should make it easier when i start getting in the weeds

#plus theres a couple colors id like to add to the palette #like a proper purple #and a 2nd green #at the very least.#but i also wanna make an ombre/roots/split color system #that ideally would be compatible with other ones (or at least the racoonium overlays which i use in my game)#so that the colors/texture match up properly for my base colors but also so you dont NEED other cc to do those things #but i know its annoying as fuck to download a bunch of overlays for EVERY hair so i dont wanna do that i wanna just get a standard system #from the start.#but ideally once i have a whole base texture set up ill just be able to get up and go #like i hate doing that part lmao #simoleon #note to self: add a highlights/streaks overlay too #to easily add grey hairs to any hair color #or green strands. or pink or brown.#i would primarily use it for greys i can say that much lol

being the youngest person on my team by like 10 years sometimes is REALLY obvious because everyone is talking about home construction and high school kid sports and stuff and my weekly update is “I got a Razor scooter and some new glitter paint”

The greatest thing happened the other day. So, a few years ago, I binged all of Matpat's fnaf videos at home on my living room TV. My dad would get bored sometimes and watch them with me. ig someone was wearing a freddy onesie to work, and my dad ig point it out to his coworkers. Everyone is apparently looking at him super confused, and he tries to explain it, and no one is getting it until his boss walks up and agrees with him. Everyone thought my dad was losing it over some brightly colored animatronics, and I am just super surprised that he actually paid attention to it and remembered. I did find him watching Matpat on his phone the other day and was caught so off guard ngl. Anyway, I've created a monster because now he is outting my fnaf phase to everyone

i have always thought that Clem would be much more different if she was in the modern world. she seems as if she’d be much more optimistic, and I’d like to think she’d aspire to be a doctor or therapist/physiatrist(if we’re assuming she would have still lost her parents)

i agree about her being a different clem than the one that exists in s4. she'd be the grown up version of clem from the early episodes of s1. whenever i imagine a modern au i try to keep this idea in mind

she wouldnt be an Entirely Different person than s4 clem, because even though shes been through a lot of horrible experiences, she is still that same girl deep down. shes not as trusting, or optimistic, and has been through one trauma after another, shes hardened. but shes still caring, kind, and loyal to those she loves

i just imagine a modern clem as someone who still has the ability to remain optimistic and trusting. she goofs off a little more. shes more relaxed. she'd be into the arts in some way. maybe play a sport or two. s1 clem had a little mischief in her, i think she'd be a little playful and sarcastic. still wont hesitate to stand up for herself or those she cares about. but if her parents still die she'd have those quiet somber moments. still grew up a little too fast. i think she'd still be a very grounded person, just less reserved than she is in game

i dont think much about careers (bc i hate work lol) but i do think her going into a field where she can help people in some way makes sense for her

Oh yeah I also watched the IGN First video after Sonic Central and it honestly wasn't too bad. I still think Frontiers looks really good like I have since the start despite my grievances with the past few trailers

#ramblings #the person who played it seemed to have an overall positive opinion of it too #and the criticisms they had were like. valid things that hindered gameplay slightly or visual things #like the rails looking out of place #which honestly to me they do a little bit but i don't mind it too much #also they confirmed that the version they played was an earlier build #confirming my own suspicions of the trailers not really reflecting how the game would look today #also there's an exp system and a skill tree which is pretty cool #i'm guessing they're gonna allow some level of customization with how sonic plays #making it so that you can unlock things in a way that fits your playstyle #which is pretty neat #also there is confirmation that at least tails and amy are in the game as well as a mysterious ai voice that guides sonic #don't think tails and amy are gonna be playable but one can dream #also. wondering if the ai voice they mentioned is the pink haired human we saw sneaked into the tailstube video #they haven't revealed too much about the plot or anything so it's possible
