Hi I am a really old man...I donot know how to use "TUMBLR"...but can u writ e astory about how "JIMMY VALMER" get KIDNAPPED by "NATHAN" and then there is...Epic fight Battle scene
————————————————————
Lmao sure! Tbh the only way I could envision this happening was if there were like, some sort of hero/villain dynamic, so… superhero au!
i dunno if i’d call this fight scene “epic,” but it’s certainly something…
posting it here too v
————————————————————
The sound of a clock ticked on softly, the gentle tick’s of the second hand merging into each other, the pacing not quite right.
Or maybe Jimmy was just too dazed to process it right, only half awake as he laid on what he could only assume was hard tile in the middle of a cold bedroom, yawning and scrubbing his eyes with the edge of his palm. He had been unconscious just a few minutes prior, and now he was struggling to keep his eyes open to figure out where he was.
He could feel the familiar weight of his headphones attached securely to his head, and in his foggy awareness, he clumsily reached up to touch them with his fingers. He racked his sluggish mind and tried to figure out what he could have possibly been doing before this that required him to be in uniform, but nothing immediately came to mind.
He blinked a few times, and just then, a shadow cast over his face and a familiar voice called his name from above him. It admittedly startled him a bit.
“Oh, you woke up.” His voice was on the slower side, as if every word was deliberately being planned out, and his words were pronounced in a way that was just slightly off. It was deeply familiar, and for a fraction of a second, Jimmy was reminded of summer camp. “I was kind of hoping you were dead.”
His vision focused gradually, and as it did, he finally recognized the person standing above him. His uneasiness fizzled out in a matter of seconds. “Oh… Nathan? Is that you?”
“Who else would it be?”
Jimmy squinted at him for a moment and then slowly propped himself up on his elbow before sitting up, a confused expression settling on his face as he looked around. The bedroom was… simple, really. There was a small bed in one corner and some miscellaneous movie posters with rugged looking people on them scattered around the walls. A few pieces of trash were on the ground.
But it certainly wasn’t his bedroom. It must have been Nathan’s— the posters fit him rather well, after all. And, well, Nathan was standing right there.
Why was he at Nathan’s house, anyway…?
“Why’d- why- why did you… What's going on?” He asked. “I don’t remember coming over.”
“Well of course you don’t,” Nathan said with annoyance, stepping back a little and giving him an odd look. “I had to drag you over here myself. It was hard with so many people around.” He looked away, distantly watching the ceiling. “I had to sneak around in the alleyways... It was dirty work. But I managed.”
Jimmy tilted his head after a moment, confused. “Why?”
“What?”
“Why?” He repeated, wondering if Nathan hadn’t heard him correctly. “If you wanted to hang out, th- then you could’ve just asked. I’m free on Fridays.”
For some reason, Nathan seemed to ripple at this, scowling slightly. “What? No, that’s not what I meant! I don’t want to hang out with you! I— Ugh…”
He pinched the bridge of his nose and exhaled. “I took you to my house because I want to eliminate you. You’ve ruined my life enough times already, and I am so… fucking tired of it.”
“Um…” Jimmy scratched his head, trying to decipher the meaning of his words. “I don’t quite follow.”
“I’m going to kill you, Jimmy,” he said bluntly.
A beat of silence passed, and then Jimmy slightly smiled at him. “Oh, yeah? Wow, thu- thh… that’s pretty funny, Nathan. I didn’t know you liked jokes.”
Nathan gritted his teeth with frustration. “Damn it, this isn’t a joke! Ugh, you’re just as stupid as Mimsy… I hate you so much.”
“Your acting is fantastic,” Jimmy responded passively. “Have you ever considered joining th- the theater department?”
Nathan shot him a sharp glare that lasted a lot longer than necessary, and then he wiped his hands on his shirt and turned towards his closet. “I’m not about to deal with this right now. Just shut up and let me grab my murder weapon.”
“Murder weapon…?” Jimmy watched him carefully, and the sense of ease in his body flickered like a dying candle. “What do you mean? You wuh- you weren’t actually being serious, were you?”
Nathan glanced back at him as he wrapped his fingers around the closet handle. “Are you an idiot? Of course I was being serious. I’m going to kill you.”
Realization struck Jimmy like an electric shock as the dots connected in his head. His jaw dropped. “Hold on. Nathan, are you a bad guy…?”
“I’ve been a bad guy this whole time!” Nathan turned to him fully, his voice slightly raised now. “What part of that did you not understand?”
Jimmy frowned, thinking back to all of his previous encounters with him. It just didn’t make any sense. “…Really? I thought we were friends… R- really?”
“… I hate you so much.”
“Huh…” He glanced down, a little disappointed now. How had he not noticed before that Nathan disliked him? He could’ve sworn that he was just really competitive…
He scanned the room once more. Well… he didn’t really feel like dying today. He finally remembered what he had been doing before he got here— him and a few of the other heroes were searching for a gang of thieves, and then they got caught up in a fight with them in a parking lot. Jimmy remembered getting thrown into a wall, and then… well, he wasn’t sure what happened afterwards. Where had Nathan even come from?
And… Wait…
“…Hey, wh- where are my crutches?”
Nathan scoffed and turned back around, getting back on task and pulling open his closet. “Oh, those are long gone already. I threw them into a lake on the wau here.”
“You what?”
Silence.
Jimmy stared at Nathan for a long moment as he shuffled through a worn out looking box under some hung up clothing. He pushed things around for quite a while until he stopped, huffed, and then straightened up empty-handed. “Damn it… where is it?”
Jimmy was still stuck on the fact that his crutches were at the bottom of some lake.
“Hey, Nathan, come here for a second,” he said after a minute, and then his blank countenance became friendly. “It was a n- nh… it was a knife, wasn't it?”
To his relief, Nathan looked at him again, wide-eyed, and hesitated. “How the fuck did you know?”
“It’s right over here, next to me. You m- might’ve dropped it.”
Though he seemed distrustful at first, Nathan reluctantly separated from his closet and slowly walked over to him again. When he was close enough, he leaned over slightly to look at the empty spot at Jimmy’s side. “Where?”
And then Jimmy lurched forward, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and punched him square in the jaw.
Nathan cursed, staggering backwards for a moment from the impact as his hand shot up to grab his chin. Jimmy retracted his fist and glared at him, propping himself up slightly with his other arm.
“What the hell??” Nathan hissed after stumbling around for a few long seconds.
“You deserved that!” Jimmy exclaimed. “Do you have any idea how much those co—”
Before he could finish his sentence, Nathan ran forward and practically barreled into him in a furious retaliation, crouching a bit to push him over with his momentum. Jimmy startled as he crashed into the ground, his back painfully slamming onto the solid floor. Nathan’s knees pressed into his legs as he clambered on top of him and grabbed him by the shoulders.
“That fucking hurt!” He said angrily, and before Jimmy could respond, he punched him back, slamming his fist into his cheek.
And he punched hard.
Jimmy was only dazed for a second or two, and then the adrenaline kicked in.
Before Nathan could attack him again, Jimmy reached up and pushed against his chest with as much force as he could muster, successfully shoving him off. Nathan landed on his chest beside him, and Jimmy swiftly got off of his back and crawled over to him. Nathan tried to lift himself up with shaky arms, and when Jimmy tried to push him back down with his own body weight, pressing his hand against his back to try and get him on the ground again, Nathan twisted slightly and tightly grabbed his wrist.
They wrestled with each other for a good minute or so, pushing at each other and occasionally trying to land hits on each other. At some point, Jimmy’s headphones were knocked off of his head, and they clattered against the ground beside them. They both managed to get a few nasty punches in, but neither of them dared to call it quits.
But when the abrupt sound of the window opening cut through the air, they froze, the sounds of their scuffle instantly halting. They both looked towards the window in a perfectly preserved position of violence— Nathan’s hand was clutching Jimmy’s sleeve and his nose was bleeding, and Jimmy’s fist poised just inches away from Nathan’s face.
The intruders, unsurprisingly, were none other than three of Jimmy’s trusted teammates, Mysterion, Mosquito, and Human Kite, each in their respective uniforms; they all took in the picture in front of them with evident surprise, staring for a long time, seemingly frozen as well.
Nathan was the first to break the awkwars silence, letting go of Jimmy in an instant and quickly pulling away from him. Jimmy landed flat on his stomach with a quiet ‘oof’ as a result. “Oh, you have got to be kidding me.”
With that, the others snapped out of their trance and quickly bustled into the room. Human Kite lingered behind as Mysterion quickly went and stood between Jimmy and Nathan, facing the latter with his hands slightly raised as if prepared to take action if Nathan were to try to fight him. But Nathan only stood there with a somewhat cautious yet annoyed expression, backing away slightly in reluctant surrender.
Mosquito urgently scurried over to Jimmy and gently lifted him to help him sit up, resting a hand on his back and shoulder to support him. “Woah, hey, are you alright, Ji— Fastpass?”
Right. They were supposed to be undercover. Nathan knew who Jimmy was, but he didn’t know the identity of any of the other heroes. Jimmy had almost forgotten that.
“Y- yeah,” he muttered, rubbing his cheek. He could feel his adrenaline rush quickly receding, but his heart was still pounding. “I’m fine...”
“What the fuck happened?” Human Kite asked from the back, looking from Jimmy to Nathan and then back again. “We were all fighting together and then you just disappeared, dude. We were really worried.”
“Yeah, we only found you because you had your headphones’ signal on,” Mosquito said. One of his wings twitched behind him, fueled solely by nerves. “But it cut off a few minutes before we got here. Thank god Mysterion’s memory is so reliable, bzzt.”
Mysterion’s tone was much more serious than the other two’s, almost threateningly so. “I’m guessing this guy abducted you since you were both fighting, right?” He kept his attention fixated on Nathan. “I can take care of him if you want. It’ll be easy.”
Jimmy couldn’t see Mysterion’s expression, but he could tell by the shift from agitation to slight uneasiness on Nathan’s face that it wasn’t a pleasant one. Although Jimmy was still upset with him, something in his gut twisted, and a pang of sympathy shot through him.
He locked eyes with Nathan for a single moment, but the silent message that passed between them was far too complicated to understand.
The smartest thing to do would be to tell Mysterion to have at it, but…
Maybe a part of him still saw him as a friend, or maybe he just felt bad for him. But for whatever reason, Jimmy slouched slightly and his gaze drifted away from Nathan as he shook his head.
“N- no, Mysterion, it’s okay. I came here on my own to settle… pu- personal matters with him. Leave him alone.”
Mysterion looked at him and his stance faltered. “Wait, what? Are you sure?”
Jimmy nodded. A mixture of utter confusion, relief, and something much more ambiguous settled on Nathan’s features, and it filled Jimmy with an odd sense of satisfaction.
His heart stopped pounding so fast. Everything seemed to settle.
A powerful sense of fatigue settled in his aching body, and he leaned a bit more into Mosquito with a huff. In response to the added weight, Mosquito jumped slightly and quickly scrambled to get a better hold on him.
“Jesus…” Jimmy began. “Who- who knew that f- fuh- fucking people up would be so taxing.”
Human Kite approached him and crouched down in front of him, looking him over carefully, likely checking his injuries. “Well yeah, what did you expect?” He asked sarcastically. His gaze lingered on a spot on the side of Jimmy’s face that Nathan had punched with a notable amount of vigor.
Human Kite lifted a finger and gently pressed on it, and Jimmy stiffened with discomfort, ducking his head away. The other hummed thoughtfully. “We’ll have to patch you up at the base. Come on, we should go… Or, uh. Huh.”
He looked around for a moment, clearly puzzled.
“Where are your crutches?”
Mysterion watched him curiously now, Nathan awkwardly looking up at the ceiling again. Mosquito buzzed quietly behind him.
Jimmy hesitated, and then he awkwardly laughed.
“Broke ‘em.”

Danny is overworked, over stressed, and he may have just pushed himself a little too hard.
He's been staying up all night, only to go to school, he's always looking over his shoulder for his parents weapons or a ghost attack or a Vlad attack, and there's only so much stress the human body can take before it just tries to force you to slow down.
Unfortunately for Danny, this happens as he's walking the streets of Metropolis while his parents are at a convention.
He starts to see double, can't really tell if he's touching the ground anymore, and runs into a massive chest. He looks up and sees black hair and blue eyes wearing a weird suit.
"Oh, hey dad." Is all he manages to say before he passes out in the man's arms.

Gentle
(One-shot: 1,8k words)
Summary: Phil doesn't really look at photos of their faces that much. Truthfully, there's only so many gifs, followed by people pointing out how utterly hopelessly in love you and your partner look at each other that you can actually absorb. Phil's brain feels like mush sometimes, with the amount of feeling right there, displayed for the world to see. This livestream was special though - in so many ways, - and he found himself transfixed by the animated images of Dan's gentle touching of his face, feeling some kind of cosmic shift happening on screen, the realization on the tip of his tongue.
Just a fluffy thinkpiece on their current content, and all the little moments they decided to share with their audience these past few months.

A bats eye view
AO3  Master next
why Tm was following Ellie and Danny and his perspective of the events of umm Im an ambassador.
***
The government can’t be trusted. All the bats know this.
Always dipping their hands into things. Taking kids such as Ace to test and study. Then the whole start of Project Cadmus. Cloning supers as a fallback plan is a bit much.  Granted he did get one of his closest friends from it.
Three days ago, a new act was proposed. The anti-ecto acts. Passing an hour after an explosion in a small town. The act included a new agency. One that had to have been active for a while. They were too set up and organized to only be a few hours old.
Tim can’t even find it hard to believe there was another secret branch of the government.  There would be no surprise if there were more. It's just how the government played the game. One that must have been formed recently. A whole gimmick of pure white. Not practical at all.
Here he was dealing with these agents, ensuring to take them down in secret. Knocking them out from behind the blame would go to the two the agents were chasing. Those in white saw the girl grab a cane to knock one out. It wouldn’t be too farfetched. He Just needed to buy time for two without anyone realizing. Neither the government nor the other party needed to know.
Laws are just a suggestion anyways.
Where would they be if some never got broken? Especially when it’s directed at an entire species. A species with only biased papers by some quack job so-called scientists. Anyone with a brain could see that research had no backing. All theoretical and hadn't been updated in years.
An entire act dedicated to claiming “ghosts” otherwise known as ecto-entities were non sapient and ripe for the picking. Lab rats had more rights than them. A whole entire species was allowed to be picked off and taken. No repercussions to experimenting on them with the approval for the government to simply eradicate them when no longer in use. The same was true of ecto-contaminated individuals. Just an excuse to “study” a new group.
The act was only introduced three days ago. The bats and league knew for two, it hadn’t been enough time to even release a statement.
In just three days the act passed through. Just in time for the hunt, he interrupted. The explosion had to be the reason they were pushed through so suddenly. It had to do with the two who just vacated. Both were prime adoption bait, the boy was only 15 and the girl looked to be around Damian’s age.
The same one Cass saw melting all those months ago.
The same one who had started to melt? Turn into goo? Into the floor of some alleyway.
Cass ignored her mission that day when she first spotted the girl. She had her eyes on the girl since that morning, apparently, she was reckless and had no tact. At one point that day, she had seen the girl transform from white hair green eyes otherworldly being into a human. Black hair and blue eyes. Their first thought was some alien or meta. He saw some of her body cam footage, only what Cass let them see.  How her eyes had glowed Lazarus green, and her foot slowly started to liquefy. Even from the distance with Cass on a roof, you could see the fear her face held. Whatever melting that was going on was not meant to be happening. Cass fully intended to go and help the girl. Following her from the shadows only for a phone call. They couldn’t hear the conversation from the cam. The distance to great and if Cass did hear it, she wasn’t saying.
While the girl was on the phone the alley exploded into light. Green-tinted light. So much like the pits but so different. It was a pure green glow. A swirling portal right before the girl. One where a white-haired teen bearing a crown of ice stepped out. Not much of the face was visible covered by a green glow from his eyes and the portal. Wearing what could only be described as medieval royal attire. A full cloak one that seemed to hold galaxies underneath. Otherworldly.
A powerful being according to Cass.
The portal closed behind him the minute he rushed back through.
If this was an ecto-entity the government was after. The footage from the cam alone would prove the biased nature of the acts.
They only got around the meta-human protection acts with a loophole. The “human” in the act was always a wider range of beings. Often covering more than just humans. Claiming the ghost did not count as they were only an embodiment of emotions. No pain and no sentience. Only fueled by past experiences from their prior life. These ecto-entities could not care for anyone but themselves leaving destruction in their wake.
A single video could prove it wrong. There is no faking the way he rushed to the girl. Add in the fact that the girl clearly called for help and then received the help.
That girl at the very least had unique thoughts. There is even evidence of her traveling around the globe, with completely different activities wherever she was. The girl clearly called for help to get it in a rush. If they were only remnants of the past, why would he help the girl?
The same girl who was ejected from the vehicle fleeing fled the scene. She and the boy both go invisible starting with the girl. The girl was likely the culprit for that power set. They knew the boy was Daniel Fenton, an article about the purple humpback gorilla being female had his name and photo. The girl just didn’t exist. She looked nearly identical to the boy from the camera footage Barbara commandeered. Danny’s only sibling a Jasmine Fenton who was attending Gotham U for a degree in Psychology.
It had to be connected. FentonWorks went up taking out three full blocks. Whatever had been in that building was toxic and radioactive. Enough contamination to set off the league's system. That whole town should have been evacuated. Whatever substance had leaked out couldn’t be good for them. The townsfolk based on their social media that suddenly blew up hadn’t even seemed surprised. Just talking about how FentonWorks blew up this time. Not just the basement but the house itself. This town just full-on accepted mad scientists blowing things up in their town. Not a single person in that town even seemed to bat an eye. The league had offered to help in evacuating the civilians. Even without the sensors, the explosion was trending. The explosion was well-known at this point and a whole bunch of old posts from this town were exploding. Including one about a hot dog revolution. Something big was up in Amity Park.
The government said the league had no business in Amity. The site was contained, and no help was necessary.  The building was one working with the government under some weapons contract. For some anti-ecto weapons a contract that was only signed three hours prior.
Despite the reading, and the explosion there was no contamination in the air. The three blocks around the building didn’t have any residents. So there was no need for any evacuation. There had been no signs of life prior to the explosion.  The town was just fine.
Yea. They didn’t buy that for one second. Giant red flag if he’s ever seen one.
With the acts looming then pushed through within hours of the explosions. The government was trying to keep quiet and get what it wanted done. The acts passed with not a peep. No politician had spoken for or against it online.
The league had directly been told not to intervene so it couldn’t be visibly seen going against government orders. They weren’t lawmakers and couldn’t just declare something illegal. The league would have to play by the rules and laws officially.
A carefully planned statement would be pushed out far sooner than anticipated. When the acts were first out on the floor the league did its homework. Bruce spends time going through the acts and the biased papers supporting them. Carefully worded address being made.
The league had wanted both sides. To supply evidence to the public of why it was wrong. Even if all did was bring attention to the morally wrong acts. Tim doubted any average person in America knew the acts even existed. He’d even bet most had not a clue of them. If they were to be released to the public, it had to be done right. Evidence and support against it. The plan had been to put pressure on the politicians to ensure they would vote against it. Election season was coming up. That didn't happen Well, now they would just make them regret their votes.
How often had aliens attacked? Would the public really be okay with declaring essentially a war on a species? Would other countries? The actions of the United States were theirs alone. No other country had anything like it even pending. These acts could… would put America into the spotlight.
These entities seemed capable of opening portals into their world with no issues. The invisibility and capacity of flight were known powers of at least the girl. You could see the power even just the one had.
Even the JLD was planning to speak out against the acts.
Now since the league couldn’t just act on the explosions or investigate the unknown threat and the odd town. No visible member could be seen working the case.
The bats, however. Well, they wouldn’t be caught or seen. They worked from the shadows.
Dick and the demon got sent off to Illinois. To try and get a sample of whatever set of the league's radar. It was radioactive but didn’t pop up on any database they had access to. Of course, also to scope of this Amity Park as well. Even with the government around they shouldn’t have any issues gathering any necessary information. See what the town that stemmed the act's narrative was. It only took them 10 minutes in that town to give their first message. One that set off a ticking time bomb with no known detonation.
Agents had been discussing retrieving their specimens. A humanoid specimen one clarifying to the other that it wasn’t an animal ghost. Indicating they already had touched these ecto-entities despite the act only just passing. That they had bought a child ghost from the Fenton’s. That they wouldn’t let this one escape as all the previous specimens had.  As soon as they retrieved it, they could study it. The word dissection popping up.
Barbara was already in the servers. The group apparently had little security in the database. The agency had been split into two main groups. Both to hunt for the ecto entity. One via tracker and the other following whatever an ecto signature was. One was headed by an Agent O the other by Agent K. Tim got sent after one of the groups to follow Steph a separate group.
Tim was the one who was heading towards Ohio, following the agent's signal to the exploded vehicle. The agents had been tracking them, and one of the devices had been left behind. Hence how he ended up at the truck stop.
Steph ended up heading toward Wisconsin.
The two in amity remained to continue the investigation and make sure the group didn’t have any other specimens. Who knows who they may grab? Bruce and Cass were staying in Gotham. Bruce was in contact with the league figuring out how to rush a statement out with the out loading any necessary information. Cass was on standby for patrol that night
It was thanks to Cass they immediately got an alert when the girl became a wanted criminal.
Cass had been looking into the mystery child since the alleyway. Just to make sure she had been okay. Even going as far as to set up her face in the database. If she popped up anywhere on social media or a police database she’d know.
Only within the last three months, she had reappeared, being seen by members of the league. She had never stopped to talk to them only ever taking a second look. According to reports she seemed to debate talking to Martian manhunter earlier this week before disappearing into the ground. He had wondered if Cass was going to pull a Bruce.
Then the GIW sent out an official notice to local agencies as soon as the acts passed. One with the girl's face and an order to call them immediately if she is seen. To police stations a missing child report on both. To government agencies, one claimed the girl is mind-controlling Daniel Fenton and caused the explosion. The warrant wasn’t released to the public.
This girl was the one picked up by a being in a crown. The one who looked like a royal. It could have just been a fashion statement. He wasn’t one to rely on luck. She was likely to contact another entity for help as soon as they weren’t being chased down.
The “mind-controlled” boy may very well be with a friend or family member of the ghost's equivalent or royalty. Daniel who pushed down a display rack and seemed to lead the escape. The one who planned the escape in the aisle of a truck stop.No obvious signs of mind control. No glowing eyes or any type of resistance in his body. It all seemed natural and genuine. They couldn’t rule it out. Of course, they couldn’t. Mind control was all too common always causing problems. Tim didn’t think it was the case.
His bet is Daniel is helping her escape from the GIW and his own parents.
Now he was sure Bruce was going to pull a Bruce.
Two back haired blue eyes prime adoption bait seemingly running from the government. One doing his best to help the younger. Going against his own parents and willingly against the government. Jack and Maddie Fenton were the ones who wrote the biased reports. The girl was a confirmed ecto-entity from the warrant. Daniel had to know it as well, there had been no inclination of surprise with any of the powers used so far. Actively disagreeing considering he had been driving the stolen craft in the footage retrieved from Agent O’s vehicle. It had been uploaded into the database Barbara was currently inside.
With all the agents now knocked out it was time to move on. Get rid of the footage in the truck stop, de-arm the agents, and proceed to follow the two escapes. Now the acts only applied inside of the United States so it's possible they would just leave the country. That would at least buy them time to deal with the acts. That would make it harder to protect either of them. Extradition could still occur depending on which country they hid in. Add in that Daniel Fenton was a minor who would have a missing persons report, which could cause additional problems.
It was also possible that they were heading to Gotham University, where his sister attended.
The direction they were heading made him think that was where the duo was heading. The first part of the journey was quick only to then be moved to a snail’s pace. At that point, Steph had warned her group split up into two, one heading toward him.
When they got into Gotham all hell broke loose.
He met up with Bruce and Cass before heading back toward the duo. For them to be surrounded by men in white and the Fenton’s in their blue and orange suits. The girl was in fact royalty. Cass confirmed he hadn’t been lying when warning that they were messing with the afterlife. The government bought and was planning to study and experiment on the princess of those entities. The same one currently on the ground flower petals glowing around her the cause of the problem.
Yea. No.
All it took was some hand signals to jump into action. Bruce those behind, Cass to grab the girl and then he’d start with the front. The agents were under-trained and easy to take down. Only Maddie Fenton put up a fight before going down. This leads to the next problem.
They were complete unknowns. No recognition of their hero names when Cass spoke to them, and he had to explain what the justice league even was. Was that town in Amity so remote news of them just didn’t exist? The alien invasions or attacks on the world. Did it all really go unnoticed by them?
They were unknowns and the kid was panicking, trying to keep the princess, apparently his sister, away from them as much as possible. The alleyway had dropped in temperature as soon as he grabbed her, and his speech only grew more panicky and angrier. His eyes started to glow just a tad too bright and tinted green. A meta, contaminated, or even an ecto-entity, one of those had to apply to him.
Cass had already started collecting petals and containing them. Without anyone even saying a word. Even with the girl out of range them being taken away in full hopefully could drop some of the tension.
Something had to happen. The conversation only managed to get worse.
my sister. The princess of the infinite realms was strapped down in a basement. Having had blood taken from her then sold off like an animal to the US government.
Yea, that tracks. The government would do it, obviously, it had. They saw the proof in the database. All this did was make it worse, it wasn’t just an entity. She was a princess and had already been picked up by one in a crown before. Which made it very plausible he was protective of her. Even before she was smuggled away from the building tests had been done.
Souls of doomed universe serving under the previous tyrant. Turned to skeletons as death was cut off from them. Death is mercy.
That... That was knowledge to handle later.
Pariah was dethroned and a new king took the throne.
Likely the tyrant who doomed entire universes. How did he get dethroned? Was it passed down by lineage? A trial? Death? Too many possibilities.
I’ve been playing peacekeeper for the last year. It’s gone too far. This was a direct attack. With those acts now passed there isn’t much I can do
If Cass hadn’t nodded at them, he doesn’t think he’d believe what he heard. A 15-year-old had been preventing the end of this universe. For the last year and no one noticed. It had to have been contained to Amity Park. A full year…
Year?  Wait a second.
The acts were only introduced three days ago. If he has been playing peacekeeper for the last year, why were they only introduced? Was them finally getting a citizen of that realm that set it off? But they didn’t have her when it was introduced. Did they have intentions of nabbing a different one after they passed? If the acts hadn’t passed when they had her technically the government went against the meta-human acts. There was no loophole saying ecto-entities didn’t pass. By all rights the last year they should have been protected. If the beings were attacking and the agents protecting civilians, then it wouldn’t matter. If the agents were doing it without cause, no warrants, and no acts then they were in the wrong.
Admits his thoughts Tim didn’t fail to miss the way Daniel rubbed the ground. The same motion. Nothing was happening.
If a person in any universe messes with the realm they have every right to cut it off. What’s one universe in the name of all the other infinite ones?
This insinuates the earth meddled first. That they messed with the infinite realm. Somehow disturbing it within the last year. Was it the government poking and prodding around to start. Or was this why the Fenton’s suddenly had a weapons contract? They were the ones to sell off the girl. Is that why their son got so directly involved in the mess?
He was still rubbing a circle on the ground. He knew they were all on guard just in case something came out at them.
Was he trying to summon one of the ecto-entities? He must be missing a component. The talking could just be a way to “distract” the three. To ensure he could finish the potential summoning. He claimed to be able to summon at least three. The circle he kept drawing on the ground was the same one. No attempts at any other. Even if it was just a distraction, they were getting useful information.
Cass had already finished gathering the flowers. Handing them off to Bruce. Letting him rant and rave may be the best bet to getting him calmer. Still, they needed form some way to get any bit of trust. Even the smallest amount would do. Something that could open the lines of communication. Cass had already gone to her utility belt. She must have come up with something.
The last thing they needed was for Maddie Fenton to wake up. Then immediately accuse the main reason nothing has happened. Of lying. Cass was already about to re-knock her out. Not before getting something that connected a few of the dots.
He’s a Fenton we don’t associate with ghosts, we hunt them.
That must be how he got tangled up.  Maybe getting caught up in a hunt and running into a ghost. Maddie claimed we hunt them. Could it be he started out hunting the ghosts and then realized they weren’t that bad? Or did his too-bright eyes and how the alleyway got colder come into play first? Something changed him forcing him to think away from his parents’ biased beliefs. She implies they fully believed their child held the same beliefs. This also implies everyone in the family hunted ghosts. The sister Jasmine left for Gotham. Nowhere near the ghosts.
He didn’t think either child agreed with them.
The anger and scoff let out with his response made it clear that was the case at least for him.
I’ve been the one actively sabotaging your weapons for over a year, not to mention the so-called specimen that have escaped.
Jack and Maddie had to have started this mess. Capturing specimens and making weapons. Both being sabotaged by their son. The girl his supposed sister didn’t come from Jack and Maddie. She had a known transformation; she was a confirmed ecto entity. Did he rescue her? Is that how he knows her? Afterward just deciding that she was family now. It would explain why she was traveling. Her first confirmed location was with Cass in Hong Kong. Then she popped up in several states and countries within the last three months. She wouldn’t have been able to stay in amity.
It was only as Maddie’s face had gone up in rage did Cass knock her out. Restraining her this Time. Cass then rolled the chalk at the duo. Telling them to summon his friend.
And he did.
The same green glow from the portal in Hong Kong. This time turning blue. The already fridged air plummeted even farther. A yeti? Materialized. Ice horns, a blue cape, and an ice arm. Barley looking the three of them until he simply flicked a wrist.
An ice wall formed around the duo. Blocking them from sight.
He’d wager this was Frostbite.
Cass took this moment to relay a message.
“He doesn’t want to make the call, any way out he’ll take it.”
Bruce was no doubt informing the league and the others of the mess they were in. An attack on an apparent princess, beings who could open portals, and the fact if what they say is true there wouldn’t even be a fight. Any weapons wouldn’t even matter. Just no more afterlife.
Then a yeti showed up.
Proof that at least something he said was a fact. Cass had been softly indicating he was telling the truth for the bulk of the conversation. That or he had just believed it to be true. Still, an actual event happening in front of them to prove at least one aspect was of great help.
The ice wall lowered. For the yeti to address the duo.
too risky for her in the realm... forged through ectoplasm, she is still human even if only half. Recovery would be best suited for this realm.
Half human? Forged through ectoplasm. Both Daniel and who he believes is Frostbite has confirmed she is his sister. All official documents only had Jasmine as an older sister. No other children are mentioned anywhere for either Fenton’s. Forging implies something being made. Was this girl made from a test tube? A clone situation?
Either way, they had some time to figure something out. It was best for her to recover in this realm. Not back in the infinite realms. Everything said and done here just leads to more questions. More things added to his ever-growing list of future research projects. There wasn’t time to dwell. The three of them were being addressed by the yeti.
Should the problems for them continue, expect it tenfold in this realm. The sun does not shine brightly on those against us. Listen to the boy.
That statement backs the talks of the previous doomed universes. Not to mention the whole royalty aspect. Listen to the boy, sounds like he’s going to have some political power. Maybe a prince, he did claim his sister was the princess.
With that, a mark was made on the circle used to summon the yeti and he was gone.
The minute Bruce mentioned a way to start to fix the mess he had jumped on it. None of them even seemed unreasonable. No demands for the world to bow down to the infinite realm. No immediate demands of execution. No being forced to live as Skeletons either.
Just consequences for people’s own actions. Given the very little he has heard about the infinite realm, really it was a problem for Jack and Maddie Fenton. They decided to catch and then sell a full-on person. That’s on them.  The acts getting abolished were already set in motion so that was nice. It did appear that Bruce couldn’t pull his typical adoption stunt. They already had a preselected guardian in mind.
Those four things would at least ensure the afterlife didn’t get cut off. Plus, they now knew the realm had a council and royalty. He just had to probe just a little. Try and see where Daniel stands in the hierarchy.
Umm… I’m.. an Ambassador?
He stumbled for that answer. He didn’t even need to ask Cass. This kid was absolutely lying.
No one was going to acknowledge it. Better just to let him hold the belief the lie was bought. No need to make him any more nervous or scared. As it was, he was still holding his sister against the wall pushed back as much as he could be. Just eyeing them nervously.
Three was a crowd when you’ve just been chased by a government agency.
Cass had already started to ensure the agents were still knocked out and restrained.
Bruce then approached the duo as Damian did with stray cats. Slowly and keeping an easy way out. Then broke down two options. Carefully crafted, leaving the country, or going into space into the watchtower. Definitely not pushing the conversation toward the watchtower after seeing the slight look of awe when space had been brought up. The only argument was that he wanted to go to his sister.
That only got him, and Cass sent off to find Jazz Fenton at Gotham U. While Bruce was going to stay behind until Danielle woke up. Then Bruce would escort Danny and his sister to the tower and arrange talks.
Even if Bruce couldn’t adopt the two on paper, he and Cass should give a heads-up to the others. It was only a matter of time until they were at a family dinner.

Hewwo! How happy is Danny in Happy Danny?
It is going, perhaps predictably, Not Well. I started that WIP in an attempt to counteract the overwhelming angst tendencies of this fandom. And, well, it is Rather Difficult to make a happy story out of a show whose premise is essentially “the protagonist is half dead and his parents want to rip him apart molecule by molecule because of this fact.”
Before I sent this ask, the only word in the WIP was “Danny.” But you inspired me to actually write happy Danny, so I’ve written some which I’ll snip in here:
Danny woke up the day after the accident with a sense of lightness in his body, like he was floating ten feet above the bed. A pleasant change from the soreness in his arm and the buzzing in his head of yesterday, but still strange. It was only when he opened his eyes to turn off the alarm that he realized it didn’t just feel like he was floating—he was actually levitating, like one of those tricks magicians did with the figure above the table. Except he wasn’t a magician, and he was midway to the ceiling above his bed. Of course, the moment he realized this, the spell broke, and he came down onto the mattress with a bounce and a plop. He stared up at the ceiling, stunned silent. What just happened? He reached over and shut off the alarm. It was still a school day, and his parents had told him that if he was feeling up for it in the morning, he'd still have to go. Weird morning levitating or no. Danny sprang from the bed, still feeling that sense of lightness as his feet came down gently on the carpet. It was almost like— A grin slowly spread across his face. He leapt forward, floating gently over the carpet before coming to land on the hardwood floor six feet away. “This is one small step for man—” He leapt again, giddiness tumbling around in his stomach as he crested the arc and started moving towards the floor again. “—And one giant leap for mankind!” Do I have superpowers?! Whatever that portal did to him, Danny sure was having fun.
There we go, some happier post-accident side effects.

can u write a fic abt Jimmy pining for Heidi thank youuu
————————————————————
ask and you shall recieve 🤲🏽 (still accepting requests if anyones interested! :0)
also gonna post it here if you dont wanna hop onto ao3 vv
————————————————————
Jimmy absolutely thrived when it came to socializing.
After all, it was a combination of some of his favorite things— talking, for instance, or delivering a crafty punchline that, at times, was grossly offensive but funny all the same. It was one of the things that he excelled at, among other things, and he felt as if he could pull words out of thin air.
…Usually.
Usually, because as Heidi Turner stood in front of him casually, sharing her ideas about what their group project should focus on as they stood in the middle of the high school hallways at the end of the school day, he could do nothing but stare.
“ —So I was thinking we could do one about chloroplasts, y’know? Because they’re easy to explain and there’s a bunch of stuff on the internet we could use. What do you think?”
Right, the science project. That was what they were doing. What was this about chloroplasts…?
“Oh, uh…” Science project. Think about the science project.
But his mind was occupied with other things. Of course, it wasn’t uncommon for him to find the occasional person attractive— hell, there were a lot of nice looking people out there— but to call this a simple, measly attraction was certainly an understatement.
Heidi was very beautiful. Cute, even, not to mention undeniably charming. There was just something about her hair, and her beanie with the little flower on it, and the softness of her skin, and her shining eyes…
…Which were staring right at him intently, expecting a response. Jimmy didn’t need to be a high class detective to know that he had definitely missed something.
“Jimmy?”
“Yes, right,” he cleared his throat and tried to get back on topic. Something about chloroplasts, something about a boring project. “Well, I think that s- suh… I think that sounds excellent, Heidi!” What had she said again? “We should get to- to working on that soon very much.”
He seriously hoped that she’d explain it to him again later. He was starting to feel a bit guilty for not listening when she had proposed her idea in the first place. It was a weird, unexplainable type of guilt.
She grinned at him, and he had to blink a few times, blinded as if he had looked directly at the sun. “Great! Okay. Well I’m gonna go home now, then. We can work on it this weekend… I’m free on Sunday. Does that work?”
Her voice was quite nice, too…
“Y- yeah, that works,” he said in a daze, and then he immediately wanted to punch himself. Sunday absolutely did not work. He had a stage play to watch and then he had speech therapy right afterwards, not to mention bible study in the morning beforehand.
Great. And here he was, standing there quietly and not correcting himself at all. The words that usually came so easily to him were jammed tightly in his head.
“Alright!” Heidi exclaimed. Jimmy couldn’t possibly interrupt her now. “Well, I'll see you later then, okay?”
He nodded. Tried to keep his cool. But his smile felt way too affectionate on his face. “Yeah, I’ll c- catch you later.”
When she was gone, he felt simultaneously fuzzy and vaguely disappointed. Which was bad, because it meant that he was no better than a senile cat.
His heart felt funny in his chest, and he waited for her to exit the building, which was mostly empty at this point, before doing the same. Thankfully, he walked considerably slower than her, so she was already gone by the time he was outside.
…Damn it. Damn it.
What even was the science project?
He made his way towards the general direction of his house, and although he had a well trained neutral expression on his face, his mind was spinning with random things like, for whatever reason, brown hair and flower beanies. A soft voice saying who knew what, smooth hands clutching the straps of a purple backpack…
He just couldn’t get the sight of Heidi out of his mind.
He tried thinking of jokes as a distraction, but the punchlines kept slipping through his fingers like sand. He couldn’t even remember any of his scripts despite studying them a million times over. To be honest, the only thing that was clear in his mind was that he already wanted to see Heidi again— but he also really, really didn’t.
Girls were usually just a crutch for him that made him look cooler in the public eye. Because every guy has been in a relationship. He always liked to show his partners off, flaunt a bit, make up lies about what they did together at his house as if they weren’t just doing homework while sitting next to each other.
Normally that was fine. It was normal and acceptable… more like going through the motions if anything— Get together, hang out in public, go to the movies a few times, have sleepovers, and then break up a few weeks later. Over and over again. Not very exciting, to be frank, when it was repeated so many times.
So why did he feel so struck with giddiness at the thought of doing all of that with Heidi? Why did the last step feel more like a bad thing instead of a normal conclusion?
That wasn’t how it usually worked. Surely this was something else.
His heart was beating fast.
And that was also weird. Dating was something that helped your image. It made people look good. It was cool, and that was it. Right?
This… didn’t feel cool.
This felt fuzzy. Warm. When she had spoken to him— and sure, he had heard her talk at some point before, but it was only just now processing in his mind— it had felt like his soul was dipped in honey and placed on a small paper boat in a pond. And that was way too warm to be a simple charade in the making.
… And far too sappy to be even slightly cool.
He sighed, long and drawn out, stopping in his path for a moment to glance at the sky before moving forward again.
It was going to be one hell of a night, that was for sure.

Danny was a stillborn, and Maddie made a deal with a Devil to give her baby a soul so he could live.
But the Devil couldn't really like, make a wholeass new soul for this. He could grab one of the ones he owned, but that'd just be putting an adult in an infants body, and that whole thought kind of weirded the Devil out.
So, he compromised.
He had a piece of the Laughing Magicians soul, and he just kinda.
Shoved that into the baby corpse.
And holy shit it worked, the kid took it.
Which, awesome! He gets the lady's soul and the kids when it's matured!
Except that was fifteen years ago, and now said Devil is desperately trying to get into contact with Constantine to cancel the deal they signed and agreed to.
Cuz that little baby?
Yeah he's the High King of the fucking Infinite Realms; a being that can not only cancel said contract, but do it and declare the Devil who made it guilty of Treason.
So he needs to find the Laughing Magician fucking yesterday, before the kid looks too closely at why his soul is so weird and figures it out.

Run Ghost Run 4
AO3 Prev Next
Even with-it being day the sun was not shining in Gotham. It was cloudy and dark, yet it didn’t feel like it was going to rain. It was just a looming darkness. Sam would go nuts here. No sun hat needed. It wasn’t even that crowded where he was.
The less people who saw him the better. Avoid a trail for as long as possible. With no bats or birds to guide he elected to just wander around. Danny couldn’t stay out in the open for too long. Making sure his sleeves were hiding his wrist he focused on his breathing then walking. Slow and steady to ensure nothing moved around.
For now, he needed to figure out where he was and form a plan. Dealing with clockworks riddle seemed like his best bet. A bookstore or library would be his goal for now. Library preferable as those were free. So, the search went on.
Finding a library was easier said than done. Sticking to the alleys and non-crowded areas didn’t help. On top of it being an unknown city he was injured. A step wrong or a bend/trip and pain just went through him. After what felt like hours a library came into view. Gotham City Public Library stood before him. It was huge, someone had to have gotten lost in it before. It seemed recently renovated compared to the rest of the area. Which was run down. Hopefully they had free computer access so he could do some research. Physical maps and books would work just take a lot longer and involve more movement.
Danny being himself just walked straight up the stairs and into the building not paying attention to his surroundings. He was off to find a computer, no need to talk to anyone.
Danny could not find the front desk. Granted he did get lost after wandering upstairs. The entrance is downstairs… so you know. Bad decision on him. He just needed a guest log in and to get that he needed to talk to someone. In the bottom left of each computer stated as such. Now he had to trek back down the stairs. Maybe there would be some computers downstairs.
When he did find the front desk, it was manned by a red head in a wheelchair.  She looked up at him seemingly disinterested. There was a look in her eyes that reminded him of Jazz when she was trying to solve a puzzle. The gaze she when going all psychologist. Danny knew he didn’t look the best. He had to look worse than he did at the rest area. There are no ways his bags are gone; he knows any other injuries would be hidden. They were hidden right? Looking down to confirm his sleeves were pulled down. Thankfully they were. Danny did have a thermos strapped to his belt. Was that weird outside of Amity? This was a mistake, he should just leave. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. The door to exit was just to the left. Just as he was going to leave the person behind the desk spoke.
“Names Barbara, how can I help you?” Her voice much softer than expected.
When he went to say his name and ask for a login he just couldn’t. Phantom pains going down his throat, finding himself touching his throat. He could do this, he wasn’t there, Jack and Maddie weren’t looming over him. He wasn’t strapped down. Barbara looked ready to say something when he managed to get words out. “A guest login for a computer”
She just looked at him then to her computer. Saying that he’d need to provide some form of identification so they could keep track of the computer use. It felt off, this situation felt like she was fishing. Amitys library didn’t require IDs why would this one. Danny needed to calm down this was clearly his paranoia talking. There is no reason for a librarian to be looking him up.
Danny wasn’t even sure he had any identification on him. The bag was full, but clothes take up a lot of room, plus the medical supplies. Most didn’t work on him anymore, even less medications. The envelope was still sitting in the bag, he didn’t know the contents. He wasn’t ready to open it. Even if he did have id, he certainly wouldn’t give it to her. No paper trails.
With another deep breath he spoke “Let me just grab it” the words came easier. Grabbing the backpack, he searched thoroughly and frantically. Hoping the med kit and clothes were not visible. He’d just talk nonsense and half truths about his situation and why he needs access. Lying was not his forte.
“Ancients!” fake shock lacing the word, “my wallet isn’t in this bag. I know protocols are super important, but I need to get this info. I nearly failed all my classes last year; our vice principal gave me the list of books and online articles for next year. I need to get that info and my phone is destroyed” Lancer did give him the list, saying that he wasn’t living up to what he was capable of.
“Jazz” with an awkward pause cause why did he say her name “my sister” could he stop that
“She’s expecting me to do better in my sophomore year, I promised her to get a head start while I waited. Can I just give you, my name? I should only be in town for a few days max anyways”
As he finished speaking, looking down he realized one of his sleeves had ridden up. Danny had no idea when the wrist had become visible. The busies from fighting were still dark and purple, marks from where the cuffs had dug in red and puffy. Hastily shoving down the sleeves, now holding the ends down. Looking towards Barbara she seemed focused on her screen, no reason to think she noticed.
Danny did not think he was going to get a log in. He revealed more then he wanted but was rewarded with a log in. While it wasn’t a guest log in, but her personally one he’d take it Maybe he was a good liar after all.
With confidence he didn’t know he had left, he told her his name was Danny Cosmos. Not knowing what to say his last name was, he decided something space related would be best. Nothing like Apollo that would be too obvious. Time to find a computer.
Added benefit there were computers downstairs. He asked Barbara, they even had some near the front desk. How he missed those he wasn’t sure. Just decided to chalk it up to exhaustion.
With a computer the research began. Danny learned two key things; Amity had no internet presence. No social medias, heck he couldn’t even find the city on the most recent map. Ancients it was a ghost town in more than one way.
Some old archives did have maps with amity parks. All the maps were at least from 9 years ago. Very few vlogs from those who went on haunted tours long ago. The most recent video was from ten years ago. No trace of Amity Tour vlogs since.
Feeling brave he looked up Fenton works. Nothing. Yet Jack and Maddie Fenton did show up on the college they attended websites. They were in the club records. Most likely from the ghost portal event although that wasn’t listed. The same was not true for Vlad, he was well documented up until earlier this year. When he started to be in amity more his accounts just seemed to become unactive. Looking up the Masons did not show any decedents. Not the fact there were heirs to the deli toothpick cellophane-twirling device empire. No one seemed to exist.
The second thing was that heroes existed. Just like the ones from comic books. Add that government knew about them. The question now was just how screwed he was. He fled from the government; wouldn’t those heroes be sent after him.
Do they agree with the government? Would they stand against them? Could his escape be like a slaughterhouse animal situation? Like when a cow escapes then gets returned only for public outrage and then a happy ending for the cow. Hypothetically since he isn’t considered human could he qualify to be in a sanctuary? Could he be counted as an endangered species? If you thought about it there were only three halfas. Only one naturally formed, Vlad just has a ghost condition and Ellie was genetically a clone. Could he get protection for that?
Not only were human heroes protected but aliens as well. The government wasn’t seemingly after them. Why did the humans with powers and aliens have rights? Why didn’t the ghost have them? Danny would think the government would try and turn anything into weapons. Maybe the heroes were under government control already, so they didn’t need to be weaponized.
Looking more into the laws there were meta human protection. Ghost were humans at one point and had powers leading his next searching point. How did the anti-ecto acts pass? You had to dig to even find anything regarding the laws. Specifically looking up the undergrowth acts. It was proposed as an environmental act meant to gain financial support after overgrowth had destroyed their city. Sam was the one who told him where it passed. She made sure to know the laws and her right.
Even in the act they were only mentioned, but not written out. Then to actively find the acts you had to go through the Illinois government. He only found them fully written out through one politician. Ghost didn’t qualify for the protections as they were just fragments of emotions.
These acts weren’t public knowledge. You had to know what you were looking for to even find that. With Amity off the map and being where the veil was thin why would anyone else know about ghost. His vigilante pursuits weren’t even a rare thing.
Gotham had its own brand of heroes. Ones he would adamantly avoid while he was in town. No need to risk potential government allies. Besides the internet said Batman was a cryptid demon. Enough reason for him to avoid him. If ghost were real, no doubt demons were. Then there was signal the daytime vigilante and mentions of a sword wielding robin. The pun happy nightwing, that one may not be too bad. Several others were mentioned. These people sounded dangerous.
To end his research, it was time to decipher Clockwork. Staring with where birds and bats get along. There was a co-occurrence between a species of bats and birds. The Starlings and Noctules, mainly found in early May. It was likely due to the oncoming winter to keep warm. The bats would seek the birds and share their hidey holes. Now if that’s the case he had to leave the country. They were found in Europe, Asia, and North Africa.
This felt too easy. Clockwork wasn’t this easy, granted leaving the country would hard but potentially beneficial. He’d need to learn about laws in other countries. Checking the date revealed it to have been a week since they issued the warning. He was missing a day or two. He could figure that out after he found a safe place to rest.
Logging out of the computer he began to leave. With a small wave back to Barbara as he left, he began to walk down the stairs. There was no one around when he was leaving.
The farther down the stairs the colder it got. A veil of darkness began to entrap him, ghost sense going off. All he began thinking was how he had failed; it was too late. He couldn’t even run away successfully. They had caught on and found him. It was an act of pure desperation as he reached for the thermos. If he could trap whatever it was. It would buy time, a week at most. He knows just how cramped that thermos was.
As the darkness surrounded him, there was a flash of yellow seemingly reaching for him. Only then was it pitch black all around him. A figure slowly began to form in front of him. A form of woman, tall and lean. Long flowing black hair that seemed to be floating at the bottom. The figure was in a dark black dress, same style as the one Sam wore to the dance. Rather than net long sleeves they were lace long sleeves. Finally, a black veil covered her face. She was outlined in a pale green glow. Without a word being said he knew her name Lady Gotham.
My prince, welcome go my city. I have few under my protection, those cloaked in my shadow. They patrol Gotham to keep my citizens safe. I wish to ensure that they will be safe. You are being here indicates the opposite. Your physique shows injury. No longer in your haunt only means horrid things. All beings of magic or ecto could feel the warning. It is safe to presume they were not headed. A war would lead to sorrow for my knights.
Great a new ghost. One who just invaded his mind. Skulker didn’t have boundaries either. Why couldn’t… wait why was everything he was thinking being projected. Nope he just needed to stop thinking. Nope. LALALA
While in my sphere, only the truth can be spoken. Feeling be shared. I seek the truth and it will not be hidden from me. Do not fret it works both ways. Before lady Gotham was able to continue her explanation Danny cut her off.
I’m tired and done. I left to get away from you guys, me being caught will lead to a war. I left everyone behind everyone I care about, my sister and my friends. My parents gave up on me the GIW are a bunch of quack jobs. pure frustration surged. I don’t know what you want from me then desperation I’m giving it my all. What more could you want.
I wish for my knight’s safety. I can offer you the same safety. Protecting them means protecting you. Don’t you log and wish for safety. For someone to Care.
Yes. Yes, I do... stupid mind link. Longing creeping in
I can offer safety He was warm in a good way.
Just consider an agreement with me
Why couldn’t he just be left alone. What do you want to arrange,
You will remain in Gotham, and I will hide your ecto signature.
What could you gain from this?
A chance for both of us
He is way to confused and lost for this bs.
You can hide out here, and I have a chance to help prevent this war. It is the most direct way. Please I beg you consider it. You could use your powers here. That belt hides your signature well, yet I can still feel it when trying. He could feel her desperation in the plea.
Real quick these knight… how do I avoid them. No offense but I’m not looking for a bad time.
They are noisy, you will not be able to avoid them. I have steered many towards them for help. Hiding you from them will not be something actively done, but you have my word I will not lead them to you anymore then has been done.
What do you mean by that?
You will see.
Will you accept.
The warm feeling was stronger than before. I agree.
Then the bond is complete.
Alright cool. Whatever that means.
Farewell for now.
The darkness began to fade away before he could get any more in. That whole interaction left him more lost than before. If she was speaking the truth that deal would be good. Hiding his ecto signature awhile using his powers would be a game changer. He may be forced to do some less then ethical deeds, but at least it was a city of crime. Someone was bound to mug him, he looked weak. Subtle use of his powers would save him. Honestly, he did feel she was truthful. No facade seemed evident, and he could feel her desperation. He so badly wanted to trust her. The whole knight thing was leaving him hesitant.
Time moved far quicker in the cover of darkness. The moon was now high in the sky. Their conversation had felt as if only a few seconds had passed. high in the sky. Lady Gotham would not be a good foe to fight. Best to stay on her good side
Looking at his surroundings he was no longer in front of the library but some alley. A dumpster in the corner a much worse area. Gun shots sounding in the air. He could smell smoke from a fire that had to have been recently put out. No new death lingered. Danny would find a place to reside for the remainder of the night. Human bodies required too much. Things were so much easier as a ghost.

A Phantom Pulse: Prelude
I’m so young I didn’t even know What death meant When I died
And I still don’t It’s not that I’m absent of life I can feel my heartbeat I need to breathe I still get hungry
I’m alive I’m alive I want to scream it Like I want to convince myself Because I think I need to
A part of me died, then A slice of myself I didn’t even know existed Changing me Eating at me A corpse now spliced with myself
I thought I knew myself It’s not like I’ve ever been complicated But this is new And very complicated Something I can’t be Something I have to be
I’m alive I’m alive But also I’m not
I don’t know who I am I don’t know what I am I never got the chance
This is the first of a series! Hopefully! Maybe!!! After learning about the very unfortunate choices of the creator of the show I've been itching to do a rewatch and write a poem for each episode to explore things in a way he would hate lmao. I'm not sure there's anyone who would want to read and I might run out of motivation without the positive reinforcement like a puppy X'D But if you happen to see this on AO3, that’s why there’s a huge chapter count!
But I've started to hang out in the fandom and the inspiration is biting at my bones so I at least wrote this up to start! A little silly and a lot of fun to write. If anyone decides to give this a shot, I hope you enjoy--thank you!!!

Clockwork Fic, if you're still doing this ask game?
(I am! I just started this, saved it as a draft, then forgot to post it)
Oh, that’s a fun one. I had a really involved Danny Phantom themed dream that I quickly wrote down before I could forget all the details because it seemed like it would make an interesting story. The dream took some tangents, so the WIP is still being finessed to make all the pieces fit together properly.
So in my dream, Clockwork had an ability similar to Vlad's where he could split himself into many versions of himself. Except when Clockwork splits, each version is a different age. And unlike with Vlad's ability, the “clones” aren’t lesser versions of himself that dissipate into smoke when damaged. They are all equally him.
Clockwork was living in this floating metropolis in the Ghost Zone, the buildings extending forever upwards and downwards. In this city, The Observants act as a sort of secret police, keeping the peace and ousting dissidents. Clockwork had gotten on the bad side of the powers that be, so The Observants are hunting him.
Though their intelligence network is strong, Clockwork had kept his ability to split under wraps, and no one has seen him at every age his splits can take. When The Observants catch up to him, he'd already split into four. One of him stays behind to keep The Observants in his home busy. Another is forced to distract even more who were waiting outside. And one other provides a diversion at an inter-dimensional train station while the youngest of his splits sneaks aboard the last car.
He intended to recall his other splits to his youngest self once he was safely away, but he didn't count on The Observants capturing and time-locking them. So he takes the train to the human realm and hides himself under human guise in a sprawling town ruled by a king.
This is all essentially the setup for a story set in a fairytale-like earth setting (this part of the dream started getting a little off track, so I intend to consolidate characters and plot lines).
Clockwork slowly loses his sense of self the longer he is separated from his other splits, and therefore also loses his memories. While he's disguised as a human to hide his ectosignature from The Observants, this process is even quicker.
In the dream, he gets adopted by the king, but I'm keeping him on the streets instead, which is where he starts. Maybe he'll start working for a shopkeeper and use that money to pay for a small room above the shop. I haven't decided yet. He could just go full street rat.
Also, the king and his family were originally their own characters, separate from Danny and his family, but I think I want to combine them instead. Rather than the king's son dying and Clockwork becoming the heir apparent on a technicality, it's easier having Danny as the prince. Another change from the dream, Danny isn't Phantom in my WIP.
One thing I'm keeping is their encounter in the library. Danny is hiding from his family between stacks of books, and Clockwork, who simply enjoys reading, spots him acting strange over one of the shelves. They are about the same age (by this point Clockwork has been there for years) and hit it off almost immediately.
When Clockwork finds out Danny is the king's son, he decides it's better if he keeps his distance. But then a hole opens in reality and The Observants pour out.
Both Clockwork and Danny run, but Danny isn't fast enough, and since The Observants only know they are looking for someone about that age, sensed in this location, they take Danny instead of Clockwork.
The rest of the story is about Clockwork's attempts to rescue the prince, piecing bits of his memory together along the way.
I really am excited about this fic, but haven't gotten much further than the brainstorming phase. It's gonna be a long story, that I can tell for sure, and I have other commitments before I start another big project. But this is the gist of it!

a/n: what a better way for me to kick off ~yikesola classics~ than with my very first phanfic? i dropped this little babey in nov2018 after falling back deep into the dnp rabbithole that summer for the first time since the 2012 era ✨🌾 i had sent a billion anon messages to assorted blogs in the weeks before writing this but hadn't braved actually making friends yet. i had grown deeply obsessed with this particular liveshow and the maladaptive coping mechanisms pre-therapy dan engaged in. I hadn't written fanfiction for years at this point. but dammit ,, this is some classic yikesola alright!
