Nothing will be more hilarious to me than Pandora Hearts fans being shocked when Break dies. You really thought he was going to survive when he said at the very beginning of the story that he was gonna die? He's been dying the whole time. He's an old man. Let peepaw Kevin rest

so. i have reread pandora hearts (again).

even though it's already finished for like . years !!!spoilers ahead!!!

and little did you know ellileo invented soulmate!au (and actually being soulmates) rebirth!au moon/sun meant and destined to be together dynamics playing the piano four hands devotion trust friendship and love in general. i am still not over the fact that elliot's last words were apologies to leo it was the last thing he thought about it was the most important thing to say for him. elliot's astrological sign is literally like . a leo. they are literally made for each other they are literally two souls that are drawn to each other. elliot gave "statice" to leo and leo later gave "lacie" to elliot in return. and after elliot's death leo is wearing a brooch engraved with statice flowers. elliot thought that leo's eyes were beautiful. leo loved elliot so much that he decided not to change the past because no matter how much he wanted elliot to be alive ("i might... not be glen...? does that mean that... in that version of the story, you wouldn't have to die?" THAT FUCKING QUOTE.) he still chose to save elliot's life as it is he chose to save his (and their) story. and i am not done with talking about them.

there's really something about where at the beginning of a movie/show you get this one scene with no context and then throughout the rest of it you get shown the scene again and again with more and more context until you finally know everything that happened

Everytime I reread pandora hearts, it’s an immediate jolt seeing Mochijun’s old art. Like it’s still nice art, but it’s definitely more... Typical shounen art style?

And then later on it gets just... Absolutely gorgeous

I always worry when I go on and on about PH’s art, people who haven’t read it will just see the early stuff and think that’s the best it gets. But seriously, idk if I’ve seen any other mangaka change style and grow so much throughout a series as Mochijun did.
