"Mistress, won't you please help me?" Aizetsu lifted your head up by grabbing your chin and making you look up at him. Your eyes were glazed over, but you were still lucid.
"I... I don't..."
The blue-eyed demon pulls his pants down to his knees exposing his long, hard shaft to your eyes. It sat daintily against his abdomen; a pearl bead sitting the tip before he used his thumb to smear it. He lets out a soft sigh, a warmth spreading on his cheeks. "It's okay, I-I can show you." Aizetsu's other hand guides your mouth to the tip of his cock. "Picture it as being a dango treat. U-Use your mouth please."
His gentle words were a key to push you into doing it. You timidly nodded your head, letting out another feeble moan when Urogi spat on your clit and then dove his tongue into your haven. You parted your lips around the head of his cock and brought it into your mouth. At the feeling of a moist warmth on him, Aizetsu trembled but he didn't move away instead he leaned closer to you. His hand petting your head in encouragement. "Y-Yes... hmm... now stick out y-your tongue...ah..."
"Hey~ we didn't dumb you down, yet have we?" Karaku said and he pulls down his hakamas to his ankles. His cock was thicker than Aizetsu's and curved a little to the left in it's rigid state. "You still have two more demons to pleasure remember?" He cockily stuck out his tongue, the tattooed kanji on view. "You have two hands that are free, so put them to work!"
He snatches a hold of your hand and guides it to his lower abdomen your fingers tickling the patch of thick curly hair on his pelvis. He lowers it to the base of his shaft, using his large hand to envelop your smaller one around it. Karaku lets out a groan and he bites down on his bottom lip. "Fuck~ It's been so, so long since I've had a woman touch me like this. If your hand feels as snug as your pussy, then I guess we're in for a real treat huh?" His darkened gaze watches you blissfully.

Naoto: Allow me to recap what's transpired thus far. Nanako chan and Teddie had revealed that we all thought Yosuke senpai and Souji senpai were involved. Yosuke in a gay panic ran into the TV, which we had previously closed after defeating Labrys's Shadow or so we thought, and dungeoned himself. We met the creator of the Velvet Room after defeating the evolved Shadow, got separated, reunited, and the major information that Yosuke senpai was withholding from us to cause all of this to happen is that he has, indeed, been in a same sex relationship before. Am I right so far? Yosuke: please be real careful im in a sensitive state i was scared of exactly this- Naoto: Yosuke senpai; everyone's a hypocrite. No one's mad at you and I can understand why you didn't why you didn't want to say anything. You most likely thought that we would have thrown your past ignorance and hate speech in your face and cut ties with you. Souji: You should give us more credit, we'd never do that. Chie: what souji said! we've all seen the worst parts of each other and thats what makes our bond unbreakable! on the flip side- Rise: I CANT BELIEVE YOU DIDNT GOSSIP WITH ME-- WE COULD HAVE BEEN HAVING BOY TALK THIS! ENTIRE!! TIME!!! Kanji: YEAH WE COULDA BEEN PAINTIN NAILS AND TALKIN FEELINGS; WHEN. Yosuke: AAUGH WHEN WE GRADUATED- OKAY?? i would send him pictures of all us more during third year, and he noticed souji wasnt /in/ many of the pictures that year. he brought it up, i said souji moved back to the city, and then he asked if i was single!! i didnt know what to do! i said yes and-then-we-dated-for-maybe-two-years-it-was-mostly-online-we-only-saw-each-other-face-to-face-like-4-times, uh, yea.... so... never made it as a wise man?

Not-very-spoilery thoughts on the movie release of Pillar Training (+SSV conclusion)
Behind a cut anyway just in case!
--Very nice to hear familiar background music brought back--Yuukaku themes when Uzui & his wives appear, Mitsuri's "Koi Kogare" BGM when she has a good batch of lines, Giyuu's BGM as he's like, "bye"
--I am very happy with the new OP, both sound and imagery-wise.
--One very short clip in particular made me, a fanfic writer, very very happy, but then there was more gratuitous focus that reminded me of another one of my best fanfics. The rewards of writing fic as closely based on canon as I could get them gives me the satisfaction of feel liking like canon-based imagery honors my fics by extension.
--Speaking of imagery in general, Ufotable is finding lots of ways to try to harp on the idea that everyone's wishes to destroy demons find their accumulation in Tanjiro, the Sun Breath user and first person in centuries to unlock the Mark. It is perhaps a little clumsy at times, but hey, that's a theme I like in this series.
--I was sad that Suma sounded so different, and had to look up afterward if she still had the same seiyuu. She does, but I think they might have given her totally different vocal direction so that she wouldn't sound too similar to Mitsuri
--Japanese crowds tend to be very quiet at movie theaters, but people could not contain their giggles at many of Mitsuri's lines
--I had the honor of sitting next to a huuuuuuuge fangirl who before the moving was saying stuff to her friends like, "(Hanae) Natsuki-san was at USJ the other day, and since it's a VR ride, you know, you have to wear the goggles, and I think, what if I wear the pair that he wore??? You know?? Our faces??? Would be so close?????" and then at the review of previous seasons at the beginning of the show, she started crying the instant the Mugen Ressha part started. Not loud crying, but crying.
--You can tell everyone was waiting for the "welcome back" scene, and although I thought Zenitsu would steal the show in that scene, it was indeed Nezuko. In the seiyuu greeting that was broadcast across all Japanese theaters on the opening day, Shimono-san noted that he thinks the audio was turned down on his performance of that scene. I think it was probably was too.
--So much happy daily life in this episode. If you have any friends who complained about last year's theater showing being a let-down because it was just regular anime episodes instead of a Mugen Train style movie, please tell them to just sit this one out and spare us their complaints. Most of this showing was just Tanjiro having a nice time after having a panic attack over Nezuko (oh, and like, killing Upper Moon Four, that too).
--Shinobu's hair seems distinctly longer. Giyuu's hair seems distinctly fluffier.
--Ufotable has put a lot of touches into humanizing Amane
--I wish Ufotable would stop trying to drive the "Zenitsu thinks Aoi is happy to see him (just because Aoi is a girl)" point. First off, yes, Zenitsu being a creep to girls is played up a bit in the anime. Second, the first fanbook states that the only kind of girl who is not so much his type is the Aoi-type.
--Also, on the promo art, I like the design they gave Shinobu's sword, but that's ignoring the fact that the four engraved kanji characters are on either side. Go ahead, Ufotable, hire me as your canon double-checker. EDIT: Oh wait, that is its sheath. Lovely, carry on.
--That said, the original filler they gave us? Gold star. Excellent. So happy with it. One... well, two tiny nitpicks that don't bother me much but stating it here would spoil it.
--One more non-spoilery thing to say about that filler: the people at Ufotable were probably like, "our fans are nerds. We already give them this, this, this, and that to nerd over. You know what else they are probably nerds for? Yeah. Let's give them that." Thank you, Ufotable. This nerd accepts and loved it.
--Tiny Nezuko filler as they set the stage talking about Muzan is probably looking for her? LOVE THAT TOUCH, at every level.
--Shinobu does have multiple goldfish, but they look a bit different?
--Genya's makes the best face in this whole episode
--Speaking of Genya, in the seiyuu greeting they had actors in big chibi costumes of the Kamaboko gang come out... PLUS GENYA. Giant chibi grumpy Genya was so, so, so, so freaking cute. Also, his seiyuu Okamoto got to join the stage with everybody and was talking about how he always used to scroll through his social media seeing the other seiyuu at KnY events and he was like, "sigh... sure looks like everyone is having fun..."
--Hanae Natsuki and his wife are big Genya fans, though, it seems
--Okamoto had a lot of trouble performing young Genya in the flashback, especially the emotional screaming. The desperation Genya always displays as he fights? That was Okamoto. --Meanwhile, Matsuoka always looks very overwhelmed at these things. I think having to embody the spirit of Inosuke terrifies him.
--IT WAS SO GOOD TO HEAR INOSUKE AGAIN
--Those actors in chibi costumes? The Zenitsu and Inosuke ones embodied them SO WELL. I don't usually care for those giant mascot character costumes, but these were legit so much fun to watch, like with Inosuke going right up into the cameras and Zenitsu trying to pull him back and then the two of them pushing and shoving. Zenitsu acting like he is being bullied and Inosuke showing off his muscles. I loved them. I am very sad that I will not be in town when they travel across Japan and come to my area.
--Also, the baritone voice of Oyakata-sama's personal crow? LOVED IT.
--Himejima at the the Pillar Meeting is such a statement. The new promotional material has a tag line that prominently uses one of the kanji in his name ("cry out"), and I feel like this is set-up for him to have a lot of impact later on in this season. Here's hoping!
--I am probably gonna go watch it again in a couple weeks, ufufufu
--Which is worth it for that KIZUNA NO KISEKI REMIX WHICH SOUNDED SO COOL IN SURROUND SOUND, OH MY GOSH

Hello! Hope you are having a good day/night. So sorry to bother you, could you write about Fyodor and Dazai (separately) meeting and dating S/O who is a young mom? Sorry if it’s weird and sorry if it makes you uncomfy.
its been a long time since I've written (college is a bitch) but i actually watched a movie about a single mom a week back so i might be doing something with this.
Note: I have yet to post Fyodor's part as it is a work in progress and I have named our S/O as her name is part of the story I have written, apart from this, everything is pretty similar to your request. Hope you enjoyed it<33
Characters : Dazai x fem!reader (young mom), tags : suicide, depression and death mentioned frequently

The recent talk of the neighbourhood circled around - a woman living alone with her toddler in a rundown apartment.
"who knows who the father of that child is...!"
Our subject of this rumour had applied to the quiet yet popular cafe Uzumaki.
Quite obviously in her early 20's, she sat in a corner of the cafe as the old couple took her interview. The afternoon was a quiet one, with two customers quietly sipping away their coffee in shared silence. The neighbourhood outside, quiet, as the streets basked in the afternoon sun. Summer was approaching..
She could make some miso soup for her daughter today and perhaps take her out for a evening walk. Breaking away from the daze, she returned her focus to the interview as she assessed her future employers.
The cafe owners were an old, childless couple. They had already made up their minds to take her in after the rumours travelling the streets reached their ears. However when catering to an organisation as special as the ADA, special measures were to be taken.
"So.... you know how to make coffee, bake goods, manage a register....have you learnt self defence perhaps?"
As she was about to answer, a hoarse voice spoke out behind her, from one of the tables, as a man in his 20's donning a brown coat spoke without moving his gaze from the open book in his hands,
"I believe the lady here has learnt how to wield a knife efficiently, Perhaps Judo when you were young, although I can tell you're out of practise." He looked up from his book to flash a bright smile as he made his way to their table.
"Dazai, Dazai Osamu. And You are..?"
"Hana Shinigami, nice to meet you. And yes you would be totally correct if not for the fact that I am in-fact not out of practise, just out of posture." She flashed a professional smile as she returned her attention to the old couple.
"Ah it seems I judged too fast. However! you bear quite an interesting name! 'Belladonna' pales in comparison!"
Hana - Kanji: 花 means withered flowers often associated with funeral/death
Shinigami - Kanji: 死神 means Goddess of death
"Should I be honoured? My parents were funeral directors so death is quite well imbued in a family like mine. Although, I wouldn't be wrong to think you are way too excited to be encountering someone associated with death, would I?" She giggled as the thought itself seemed ridiculous.
Having seen her parents being ridiculed their whole life for naming their daughter with such an ominous name, she couldn't help but laugh at the childlike amusement of the man she had just met.
"Death is to come to us all, so why fear it and to some the sweet release of death is what keeps them going."
"I see......oh! look at the time, I need to pick up my daughter now then, please excuse me."
"Surely yes, You can join work starting tomorrow and since the cafe is empty and quiet most of the time, you can even bring your daughter here. It would surely liven up the atmosphere."
She nodded at their requests while she said her farewell and went off to the distant as Dazai's gaze remained in her direction. It was the first time he had not called someone Belladonna. How could he when her mere name was a poetic mesh of words he longed for.
The next month passed in a flash as the cafe brightened up by their newest addition- Aoi Shinigami. Her laughter and giggles filled the cafe as she ran around in her little dress, falling and crashing into the legs of the customers.
ADA's recent activities had involved playing with the little star as she hid under tables and chairs, complained about her mother to them all while small jewel like drops fell from her eyes when she expressed her anger and sadness. Her crying would make these renowned individuals come running from their desks to attend to her needs.
Yosano and Kyouka dressed her up in cute outfits and took pictures of her (the pictures adorning their desks as we speak) , Atsushi dropped her off to her preschool and picked her up while Hana worked her shifts, Ranpo even shared his secret snack stash with her and spoke to the oblivious child about cases as she happily gobbled up the sweets (according to him, it helped him think better), Fukuzawa might have added her to his "new kitten" collection on his phone with countless pictures of her curled up taking a nap (a picture of her playing with the cats lying in his phone), Kunikida became her unpaid teacher as he taught her hiragana and katakana in his spare time (he even attended her PTMs) and the siblings became her unofficial babysitters.
How could they let her be when she looked at them with those round hazelnut eyes and dark hair, mumbling incoherent nonsense, whenever she stumbled upon a problem too big for her little hands to handle.
These days you could see the agency transmigrating their office downstairs to the cafe to keep an eye on their little angel sprightly playing around and talking about her friends from school, babbling and muttering about worldly issues and falling asleep in the most random places. Once they found her curled up under atsushi's desk with her head resting on his shoes. What a sight to behold.
Recently they even went to her annual sports event, clicking pictures, cheering for her (even more so than her own blood mother) and taking her for a treat when she did well in her little tests. Hana couldn't be more satisfied with her life. The Uzumaki owners had offered their downstairs floor to her after learning about her living condition, for a cheap rent of course.
Her daughter's days were filled with intellectual people who doted her unconditionally. Her life was simple, quiet and filled with laughter and summer this time seemed more warm than the past four summers.
Dazai too, adored the little star however his attention could be found more focused elsewhere. His eyes followed Hana everywhere with his mind always on the topic of their conversation. Their conversations were witty banters and philosophical debates on the way of life which was quite unusual but they quite enjoyed it over a cup of coffee.
Slowly but surely this unusual union of two people would start opening up to each other.
The evening Hana had opened up to him about her past, they were drinking on the rooftop while the rest were watching a show with her daughter downstairs. The show must have been funny as their laughter could be heard every other minute.
Feeling comforted in the cold night, with laughter and giggles drowning her words, she began her short yet tragic story, overcome with liquid courage,
"You know, I was infatuated, with a man 11 years older than me: Aoi's father.... I was immature and in love. A dangerous combination."
Taking a sip from her whiskey she continued, " He worked in the special armed forces. 'A reckless but fulfilling life', in his own words.
My entire pregnancy, I saw him 8 times, 8 times and then never again. Around that time during my third trimester, my parent's funeral house closed, as they went under debt... They jumped off a bridge with not so much as a final goodbye to their only pregnant daughter.
Not so much as an apology for what they were about to commit or even a second thought. Perhaps they thought if they embraced their death, they could embrace my namesake.
Not much later, came the news of his death, his body never came home. He was compromised abroad so the government refused to acknowledge him as their own.
This was the glorifying death he always talked about, dying in service to his people. Yet it would have been better if he had stayed. In the end he cared for the strangers on the street more than the mother of his child. It would have been better if he had just....stayed And the funniest part? The father of my child and my lover had forsaken all his money after his death to the mother he cut off years ago."
"It was never love, It was an arrangement of sorts, he really never cared."
"Yet here I am confessing my struggles to a man who is obsessed with the idea of imminent and painless death. I guess people's names really do determine their future."
No words were exchanged as the mere act of consoling her would be too harsh from someone who could completely resonate with the thoughts of her parents and lover in the moment of their deaths.
But he moved closer to her, still not uttering a word. Taking the glass of whiskey from her hand, he caressed her cheeks. The scarred bandaged hands moving across her face comforted her, it stopped the tears at the very least. Dazai didn't dare move, he glided his arms around her waist, pulling her slouching body from the chair in to his chest.
Then,
He kissed her. He sprinkled tender kisses on her closed eyes, her lips, her rosy cheeks, her cold hands, her shivering neck. He left no part untouched yet she didn't stop him. She reclined back into her chair with an arm around the man as she let it happen. The night passed in silence as Hana received not consolation but the physical presence and reassurance which she always had craved for,
not the sweet whispers of "eternal love", "being in their hearts" but their raw presence and Dazai offered it to her like a sweet drug she couldn't refuse.
She satisfied her addiction time and time again, The feeling was so sweet and intoxicating that it had become a vice and a blessing, yet she didn't think of it, she didn't let herself think of it when the moments passed.
Soon, he too started talking. He started talking about buried emotions, stories, friends and the distant past which kept lingering with an ominous shadow in his future, and his fears of the unknown for there was little unknown to him and she only listened with closed eyes and lips holding his hand in the deadly silence of the night.
This went on for over a year when their feelings, an entangled mess of emotions and desires as they refused to talk about it until the eventful day:
"Papa!" A noise called out from below as Dazai picked up the toddler.
"Whom are you calling, Aoi?", she pointed her little fingers towards him as she exclaimed gleefully, "Papa!" and ran off towards her mother working behind the counter in the wee hours of the morning.
Dazai, bewildered at the child's declaration, let out a uncontrolled laugh as glances were exchanged between him and the woman who plagued his every waking thoughts as one longing look was all they needed to label what they had, to build on what they had created and resume what had already begun.

Does Sakuna have feelings for Megumi? Why he is so obsessed with him?
Yeah... he certainly has some feelings... Someone might say "he just wanted to possess him for his technique" but it's not so.
Tumblr media
Gege actually puts a lot of wordplay/innuendo in his manga. Sukuna says “魅せてみろ伏黒恵” in chapter 9 which is often translated as "show me what you've got" but since Sukuna uses the kanji 魅 instead of 見 the actual translation is like "bewitch me/enchant me/charm me. Viz doesn't surprise me because they have botchered translations before, but even some other translators have made it that way. Maybe their brain just can't comprehend the actual meaning. Thankfully, many good translators in the fandom came to the rescue, which is how I also learned about the real meaning.
And in chapter 118 Sukuna says “魅せてくれたな” which is sometimes translated as "you've showed me the way" but again the accurate translation is "you've enchanted me/bewitched me/charmed me. It looks like the anime subs went for "you've fascinated me".
I have seen Japanese fans also talk about these moments. Someone said "he is flirting lol".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So these are more accurate versions.
Then we have this interview part from Gege:
Tumblr media
I have seen the video of this interview and yes he did use the word 'attractive'.
唯一の好奇 was also mentioned, which means "sole curiosity" referring to Megumi in Sukuna's mind. And Sukuna also said he likes Megumi's face. However I think it's more Megumi's character/personality that attracts Sukuna.
Tumblr media
There are also some other weird things. For example, when Megumi lowers Sukuna's cursed energy output to 10%, which allows Yuuji to punch the hell out of him for a while, Sukuna isn't angry. English translation translates his line as "Damn you Megumi Fushiguro" but the original line is not a curse, but more like a fond complaint. Like if someone misbehaved a little, but you're not really that mad, just scolding them fondly. Sukuna doesn't talk like this about other people, he's usually very harsh, so the fact he doesn't lose his temper with Megumi and is more 'soft' is something to be noted. This is something one translator named ziteemo pointed out on twitter. He also smiles, which shows he is impressed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Something I didn't even think about but saw some people wonder about. Sukuna was losing control to the point his hands shook. So he carried Megumi with shaky hands instead of letting Yuuji carry him to safety (which he knows Yuuji would have done without a doubt). Why? And the fact Megumi's previously messed up face is clean afterwards, like he's just peacefully sleeping. Is it because he likes his face? Lol.
It has become even more baffling now that we know even more how much Sukuna doesn't like humans and how in the past he told Kashimo that love is worthless and he doesn't need other people to satisfy him. But Megumi seems to be the exception now, for a reason we don't know yet. Gege only said there is something Sukuna finds attractive about Megumi. And despite what Sukuna said about not needing other people to satisfy him, he was shown to be satisfied whenever Megumi did anything, even with his domain, despite the fact domains are innate, and Sukuna wouldn't be able to use it himself. So 1000 years ago he didn't have any ideals or goals, he was just killing time, yet now is he is fixated on one specific individual. Sukuna and "love" have been linked more than once, with Sukuna saying love is worthless, to Yorozu saying "I will teach you love". The name Megumi is strongly associated with "love". So high chance Megumi will somehow bring Sukuna down or tame him, or something like that. Kill him, or shut him down somehow, I don't know how.
Tumblr media
They recently published an official MV using the manga panels and this last part just strengthens this idea. They took panels from different moments (Megumi's smile is from one chapter cover, then there is surprised Sukuna during fight, then there is Megumi telling Yuuji he doesn't regret saving him, and then there is... originally Yuuji smiling cheekily at Megumi, except they put a Sukuna filter on him (those tattoos weren't on Yuuji originally as we know since they appear only if Sukuna is in control). And then it cuts to Sukuna's hands over Megumi's neck/decoltee chapter cover.
So what this collage of panels makes it look is Megumi is smiling, Sukuna is surprised, Megumi is telling Sukuna he doesn't regret saving him, and Sukuna smiles. So yeah. I think this has to have some signifigance. But yes, the fact Megumi asked Gojo for Yuuji to be saved also saved Sukuna.
I know Gege said Sukuna is one of his faves and the main character in his previous oneshot had a similar personality and abilities (while the girl in the story was named Megumi, so that's also a name he has wanted to use) so he clearly has a lot of passion for Sukuna's character. I'm not sure what Gege is planning. But Megumi and Sukuna have been linked to each other since the beginning of the story so Megumi will play a vital part to Sukuna's ending, whatever that will be.
But yeah, the memes joking how Sukuna is a simp for Megumi or has a crush on him aren't really wrong... Gege did intend that innuendo to be there.

Okay. I need to get this out because this idea is literally haunting me.
So, welcome to my brainrot on how the fight between Izuku and Shigaraki / OFA and OFA will play out and how Katsuki could play a part in it 🙌🏼 Even though I know it's never gonna happen like this but anyways, let me dream a little.
[Edit: I wrote this before chapter 403 came out and our beloved returned 🧡]
I always come back to imagining the final, crucial confrontation would somehow end up happening in the vestige realm with Izuku und Shigaraki being on opposite sites and AFO trying to steal OFA from Izuku, just like in the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.
And I feel like this time the battle of emotions might be more challening for Izuku and the former OFA holders. Because, yes, they are still seven people and All Might's vestige has even more to bring to the table after his fight against AFO but so has AFO himself and Shigaraki as well. I mean, the LOV has been defeated, all his friends are in critical states, he's feeling used by AFO etc. etc.
So imagine, the forces collide and it seems to look not so well for our heroes, doom hanging not just over them but over all of Japan.
But that's when Katsuki steps in.
And in my head it plays out like this: Katsuki is entering the scene, maybe only a panel of his shoulders (him being in his UA uniform) is shown, the his feet, the drawing just hinting on him and suddenly the OFA side gets brighter and stronger and all sorts of emotions fill the space.
Namely, Katsuki's confidence, his anger, his ambition, his insecurities, his determination - with every step there're more emotions.
And then he stops, right next to Izuku. The greenhead is just shellshocked, not understanding how Katsuki is in the vestige realm to begin with and he's also so overwhelmed to see Katsuki looking like himself and not like the corpse Izuku had to witness earlier.
Katsuki, now standing next to his nerd, looks at Izuku with that soft expression that has been driving us all crazy lately and a new wave of Katsuki's emotions starts filling the realm: Tenderness, deep regret about his past behaviour, the frustration he used to feel towards Izuku when they were little and a new frustration about Izuku being too reckless, mixed with gut wrenching worry and fear, pride about Izuku's development and so, so, so much more, but all of this is nothing compared to when Katsuki holds out his hand to Izuku and-
Love. The love-kanji becomes dominant, taking up a full panel or even a full page, boosting OFA's fight against AFO's grip.
Izuku is still too stunned to think or understand anything but he would never reject Katsuki, so his hand moves on its own, wanting go grap the blond's but then he staggers, the thought of "control your heart" paralyzing him.
Because how can Izuku control his heart when it comes to Kacchan? Suddenly he's way too scared to take Katsuki's hand because everything could blow up in their faces and they can't risk one single slip against their opponents.
Daigoro, the fifth holder, who said those words all those months ago, is the one to snap Izuku out of his spiraling by saying: "Don't worry, kid, following your heart is important too."
That's all Izuku needs. He launches forward, intertwining his fingers with Katsuki's and slinging his other arm around the blond's shoulders.
Izuku lets all his suppressed feelings for Katsuki come to the surface, a storm of emotions rages through the realm and that's when AFO is hurled out of the domain, maybe even Shigaraki but leaving little scared Tenko there.
And there they are, Izuku and Katsuki, clinging to each other for a heartfelt moment until Katsuki mumbles something like "Don't you still have an ass to kick out there?"
Izuku leans back, tears in his eyes and makes Katsuki promise that they'll see each other again in the real word, that Katsuki has to come back to him. Katsuki makes the promise with a smirk, asking Izuku where else he was supposed to go.
Sharing a last, calm eyecontact in all of this chaos, Izuku gets back to end things with what's left of AFO and maybe even Shigaraki and the final fight is over, Edgeshot and Jeanist manage to save Katsuki, hero society needs to be rebuilt and all of that stuff and ~ the end.
And I'm very aware of the fact that it's not gonna play out like this but storywise it would work! Balancing the "control your heart"-theme in a more healthy way because up until now, it only has lead Izuku to supress stuff. And it would also resolve Katsuki's presence in the vestige realm and would make him the key to winning against AFO.
Because we all agree he has to play some part in it, right? But in my eyes, there's no way Katsuki could return to the real live battle field. I mean, half of his face and his dominant arm have been crushed, not to mention his heart (!) exploded (!!).
So. Yeah, that's it, that's the brainrot living rentfree in my head.
Okaythankyouforreadingthisbye ♡

[FINAL PART]
Once the group had finished collecting Yosuke (who’d had an unfortunate encounter with Surge the Tenrec by the time they caught up to him), they could finally head out to properly look for Kanji and Schezo.
Futaba’s navigation led them to a small cave hidden in a rock wall.
“Yeah, that’s… That’s Schezo alright,” Arle laughed weakly, though she was feeling a lot of dread at the moment. If Schezo had gone out of the way to find a place he’d be comfortable staying for a while, then maybe this really was the worst case scenario that Rulue had mentioned.
“Everyone, stay on guard. We don’t know what lurks within,” Yu Narukami cautioned, and most of the group replied with an emphatic “Yes!”.
When they proceeded into the depths of the cave, what they found at the end of the dark, damp hallways was…
…two young men, sitting cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by heaps of colorful yarn.
“Hey, you’re pullin’ the knots too tightly. It’s gonna turn into a tube that way.”
“Hmpf… Very well. Gently, gently…”
“And now you’re just dropping loops left ‘n right…Try relaxing your fingers a little, ‘kay?”
“Grrr… This is far more complex than expected…”
The search troupe were staring. In shock. In awe.
“They’re… knitting??” Arle exclaimed a little louder than she meant to.
“Crocheting,” corrected Yu and Arle let out a deep sigh. Geez, what a relief!
“Hm… Green, brown, white…” Amitie counted the colors of yarn Schezo was using off her hands.
“Acorn frog,” Sig concluded. “He’s trying to make an acorn frog.”
“Oho… Our Sir Creeper has an unexpectedly cute side to him, it would seem!” Ringo noted, and Arle gave an awkward nod.
“Yeah, what do I say… He’s always kinda been like that.”
Yosuke, meanwhile, had buried his sweaty face in his palms.
“Somebody tell me why I didn’t see this coming,” he said.
“I dunno, Yosuke. Why DIDN’T you see it coming?” Teddie echoed back cheerfully.
Yosuke elbowed him in the side.
“Still…” Yukiko wondered something “These two have been at this ever since before the results were announced, right? Does that mean they don’t even know which one of them won yet?”
“They probably never cared about that to begin with,” noted Yu.
Naoto gave a quick sigh, “I’m glad to see that this ‘case’ had such a… benign resolution.”
To that, Arle Nadja laughed, “Me too! It’s pretty rare to see Schezo make friends, too. Guess that’s probably the real ‘victory’ of the day from his perspective! …Even if he wouldn’t admit it.”
The group then continued to silently keep watch from around the corner as Schezo and Kanji continued working the yarn around them into adorable trinkets.

pov: how you met Aizawa as Eri's teacher
tags: @vtte [AN: who's up for Aizawa tags?]
You call the shots babe, I just wanna be yours
- Arctic Monkeys

Padma Musutafu Center
June 24, 2022 at 6:41 pm
The familiar tone that resembled like a bell from your phone notified you with the incoming message. You rub a hand on the back of your neck, popping the stiffness away.
You open your phone and sure enough you read a request.
Tumblr media
You replied with,
"Hello, sir. We could do the Diagnostic testing on Monday. Please confirm if you are okay on Monday, June 27 at 11am. If yes, please message your child's name, age grade, and subject you want him or her assessed."
"Eri with kanji: break & logic. 6 yrs old. 1st grade. Reading."
"Last name?"
"... Aizawa."
You schedule the appointment and forwarded it to Mr. Aizawa.
Tumblr media
"See you on Monday in our center, sir. Please don't forget to come on time and to bring a pair of socks for you and Eri to wear."
---
You tie your into a halfup ponytail just as a kid was ushered in the classroom. She had bluish, off-white hair, messy and unkempt, which parted in the middle of her forehead. The little girl sat down and you began the diagnostic testing.
From the start, you had a struggle because Eri didn't know how to write her own name as well as how to read the time. She was also very shy and a bit fearful, widened eyes at your every movement.
You patiently  give her your instructions and by the time the test was over she got  15 out of 70 in reading. It was alarming. You slide over some wooden number blocks to Eri.
"Hey, will you help me with this? Teacher needs the number to be in order starting from one up to a hundred. Will you help me?"
The girl nods at you and you walk over to the parent, the father you assumed, who wore a black suit and his hair well-groomed, held back in a low bun at the base of his neck. You took little time to admire him and got down to work. He was sitting by the parent observation table the teachers placed at the back of the classroom.
"Mr. Aizawa?" You queried.
He looks up in attention. You sit down infront of him and slide Eri's test paper on the table for him to see. "This is Eri's results for Reading. You said she's an incoming 1st grader?"
"Yes." He nods gravely. "She is."
"We give 10 minutes for diagnostic tests and in that window, 14 of her answers are correct which is good. However, it does take her over a minute to recognize each kanji."
"I'm sorry for that." He bows his head to you.
You wave your hands to stop him. "No need for that, Mr. Aizawa. With the diagnosis, Eri would have to start at the very foundation." You rest your hands on top of Eri's test paper. "But I would like cooperation with you, Mr. Aizawa. If you decided to enroll Eri here in Padma, I need us to be in a partnership. I need you to guide her well at home."
Partnership. The word has been said to countless parents since you started teaching but this time, the word made you strangely shy for no reason.
His eyes crinkles as he smiled. "I'm a teacher as well. I am confident."
You flushed. "I see. So you probably know about the whole spiel."
He shook his head kindly. "I teach high schoolers. Grade schoolers are another level. Please educate me."
"..." Surely not.
He quirks a brow. Almost imperceptible.
You cleared your throat. "So, tutoring here will only have twice a week meeting but homework is everyday." You struggle to keep the eye contact so you look away for a second and then resumed. "We're going to build Eri's habit of doing homework everyday, let her choose a specific time to do it and try to maintain that schedule. I swear she will carry the habit as she grows up."
"I see." He sighs dejectedly. "We're really worried about her education since she... started late."
"Don't worry about it, Mr. Aizawa!" You try to reassure him with a smile. "There are many cases like Eri and give her a few months, I'm sure she'll catch up." You stare into his eyes fighting the urge to look away. Eye contact. Be polite. "I also need you to understand that Eri's progress isn't instant so as much as possible, we'd like for you to commit Eri here for at least a year, before we let her go." And then, you added. "Though, alot of Padma students kept going even after a year."
Aizawa thumbs the Eri's test paper thoughtfully. His eyes flickers back to you. "You don't need to worry about that. I'm fully committed."
You look away for the umpteenth time and then wrenched your gaze back to him. "If you want to enroll right now, we can provide you the enrollment papers and have her start her first day."
---
"Would you like to observe for the 2nd day?" You peered through the door as you glanced upon Eri's dad.
"Is it a bother?"
You shook your head. "Not at all. This is the last time though. We need Eri to find her independence from you so she could be confident." Walking to Eri's table, you eyed Aizawa making his way to the same table he took the other day. You noted he was wearing matching socks with Eri with neko embroidery. Adorable.
He smiles and waves his hand, and you watch Eri's reaction to which she glumly waved back.
"Eri, we're going to practice your strokes okay?" You point a finger to the exercise book. "Follow the strokes for each word." The little girl gripped her pencil too hard and you tap her softly. "Hold it gently, Eri. There you go."
You heard a shutter sound and looked up to Aizawa, holding his phone up. "I'm sorry."
You shook your head. Parents would sneakily take pictures all the time. You resumed the instructions for Eri. "This time, there's no more guide for the strokes but you still remember how to do them right? You're very smart." The kid beamed at you, reminding you of reasons why you love being a teacher.
---
You slide Eri's first quiz result. "Perfect. She's a fast learner."
"Time to celebrate?" Aizawa scooped Eri in his arms and then reached out for her quiz paper. He reads over your little note for Eri, and his lips quirked into a smile.
You were about to head inside the classroom once more when Eri grabbed your arm to stop you and then whispered to her dad.
He slowly nods and your heart started pounding hard.
"Would you like to have some afternoon snacks with us? Eri and I will wait for you."

ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ ʜᴇᴀᴅᴄᴀɴᴏɴs ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴛᴏʟᴅ ᴀɴʏᴏɴᴇ :
he is a huge sone (fan of girl's generation). in general i imagine he's a huge fan of 2nd gen kpop. i can see him being part of the war between snsd and 2ne1 fans... in modern non-sorcery au he probably has an edgy account where he talks endless shit abt p much any release past 2015 (aside from his faves). yes ik this is goofy but just hear me out and see the vision. his bias is yuri c: // just wanna say when i joke abt this it does not reflect how i feel lmao
i'm not sure if it's ever been addressed why satoru doesn't drink ? but regardless of whatever chatgeget said idgaf, i'm taking canon from him and making my own. anyway i say that satoru doesn't drink because it messes with his six eyes too much... tho i do love the idea that he got wasted someday and it was horrendous. idk it just makes sense. he keeps from it as a precaution lmao
greg claims satoru is a natural genius at everything but i reject that because i think it'd be funny if he's a disaster in the kitchen. actually most household type stuff, i think he'd be horrendously bad at it... cooking is the worst tho. do NOT let gojo into the kitchen he will blow that shit tf up.
ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ ᴛʜɪɴɢs ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ʟɪᴋᴇs ᴅᴏɪɴɢ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇɪʀ ғʀᴇᴇ ᴛɪᴍᴇ :
ik canon says he has no hobbies bc he can do anything but I reject that once more. satoru likes to watch tv... he loves movies, reality tv, and soap operas especially. idk he seems like the kind of guy that looooooves juicy drama
taking the students out into the city, like to eat or sight see or other super fun stuff. satoru doesn't get that much time off, but he likes to use the sundays he does have for this
when he's not doing his work as a sorcerer/teacher or any of the above stuff... he dates around. he's a bit for the streets... nothing ever lasts long, but satoru craves companionship. he usually ends up fucking it up just by being busy, or ghosts because he believes serious romance is just something he can't do
sɪx ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ʟɪᴋᴇs / ʟᴏᴠᴇs :
everyone obviously,,, though if i have to narrow it down then megumi, suguru, tsumiki, shoko, ijichi, yaga and all of his other old classmates and students. he deeply treasures these ppl in his life, and he takes being the strongest to heart so much bc it means protecting them and/or fostering their growth
ᴛᴡᴏ ᴛʜɪɴɢs ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ʀᴇɢʀᴇᴛs :
not noticing something was wrong with suguru sooner
not having more time with everyone before, ya know... :c
ᴛᴡᴏ ᴘʜᴏʙɪᴀs ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ʜᴀs :
i don't think satoru has like... any legit/proper phobias? i do think he is scared of being hurt deeply tho, like how he felt when suguru defected. he doesn't want to feel that way again so he maintains a bit of distance (or tries to)
staying alone always. he already feels alone but just... lowkey hopes that it won't always be that way (ig he never really realized how much everyone around him loved him ;3;)

let's study japanese by reading golden kamuy.
specifically, let's look at how noda-sensei added a bunch of lines to the scene where ogata hyakunosuke kills his father. i have included the pages in question here for your reference. he added quite a lot of dialogue. the anime goes by the volume version of the manga, so i believe most of these lines were spoken verbatim in the anime, but japanese is so full of homophones that it can be hard to learn new words just by listening. so let's read.
this is not the beginning of the scene, but this is where the dialogue additions begin. i wanted to make a post about this because EH scans never covered these lines-- at this point in the story, they were using magazine scans, not volume scans. as far as i know, only viz and various anime subs have translated this part. and i don't think viz did a very good job. so i wanted to put my translation out there for people who want to waste even more time thinking about ogata hyakunosuke and what he Really Said. but i'm not going to bother with a typeset version of just 5 pages. and i'm not going to go find this scene in the anime to compare the translation of the subs. and keep in mind that i'm a novice.
here are the lines in order, starting at the top of the first page. yes i really typed out and analyzed them one by one like this. (i typed them out so you can copy-paste the kanji to look them up if you want... i hate having to look up kanji radical by radical...) a slash indicates a split in a compound speech bubble. these slashes may or may not indicate the end of a sentence. (japanese uses punctuation sparsely and you have to kind of feel out where the sentence ends sometimes, so speech bubble breaks are worth noting.)
raw: 父上と本妻との間に生まれた息子さん…… / 花沢勇作少尉が高潔な人物だったことも証明している気がします phonetic: chichiue to honsai to no aida ni umareta musukosan...... / hanazawa yuusaku shoui ga kouketsu na jinbutsu datta to mo shoumei shiteiru ki ga shimasu my translation: The son that was born to you, father, and your real wife... I think the fact that Second Lieutenant Hanazawa Yuusaku was such a noble character is proof of that. viz's translation: That's why your legitimate son… / …second lieutenant Yusaku Hanazawa was such a principled individual. notes: when he says "proof of that," ogata is using yuusaku's virtue as evidence to back up the claim he just made that a child born to parents who love each other is blessed. also, this line wasn't an addition compared to the magazine version, but rather, it was changed. however, i lost track of the magazine version raw of this chapter for comparison.
raw: 入隊して初めて会いましたが / 面をくらいましたよ phonetic: nyuutai shite hajimete aimashita ga / men wo kuraimashita yo my translation: I met him for the first time when I enlisted, / and I was taken aback. viz's translation: I met him when I joined the military… / …and I was stunned. notes: it seems the usual way of phrasing "men wo kuraimashita" would be more like "menkurau" so the "wo" stuck in there confused me... anyway it means "taken aback" or "bewildered."
raw: 「規律がゆるみますから」と何度注意しても部下の俺を… / 「兄様」と呼ぶのです phonetic: [kiritsu ga yurumimasu kara] to nando chuui shitemo buka no ore wo... / [anisama] to yobu no desu my translation: Even though I warned him many times that it would "weaken his discipline," / he called me, his subordinate, "big brother." viz's translation: I warned him that it was bad for discipline… / …but he called me his big brother. notes: i think it's notable that ogata refers to himself as yuusaku's subordinate ("buka"). that was omitted by the viz translation, probably in the name of dumbing it down clarity. the fact that yuusaku outranked hyakunosuke is really important to the relationship between them. obviously it made hyakunosuke feel even worse about himself, but he hides that.
raw: 「ひとりっ子育ちでずっと兄弟が欲しかった」と / 俺にまとわり付くのです phonetic: [hitorikko sodachi de zutto kyoudai ga hoshikatta] to / ore ni matowaritsuku no desu my translation: He said, "I was raised an only child, so I always wanted a brother," / and he clung to me. viz's translation: He'd always wanted a brother… / …so he clung to me. notes: matowaritsuku, "to coil about; to follow about; to surround; to cling to." maybe this line was added just to be heartbreaking.
raw: あの屈託の無い笑顔…… phonetic: ano kuttaku no nai egao...... my translation: That carefree smile...... viz's translation: He had an honest smile. notes: kuttaku no nai means carefree, and it doesn't mean honest. don't make a mistranslation and then bold it. they bolded it! isn't that embarrassing? also they vaporized the powerful double ellipsis. lame.
raw: 「ああこれが両親から祝福されて生まれた子供なのだ……」と / 心底納得しました phonetic: [aa kore ga ryoushin kara shukufuku sarete umareta kodomo nanoda......] to / shinsoko nattoku shimashita my translation: "Ah, so this is a child who was blessed from birth by both parents……" / I accepted that deep in my heart. viz's translation: I realized deep inside that here was a child blessed with the love… / …of both parents. notes: nattoku "understanding; satisfaction (e.g. with an explanation); being convinced." so seeing yuusaku's carefree smile and affectionate behavior, ogata took that as evidence affirming his theory about being born blessed; he accepted that yuusaku was blessed and took it to prove that he, by comparison, must not have been blessed.
// chichiue ha hontou no koto wo gozonji nai hazu da my translation: By the way... / About how Second Lieutenant Hanazawa Yuusaku really died at 203 Hill... // You probably don't know the truth of the matter. viz's translation: Do you want… / …to know the truth about how he died… // …on 203 Meter Hill? notes: here the // indicates that it was two separate speech bubbles, because even though i was giving each speech bubble its own entry, the viz translation combined two separate speech bubbles into one sentence! so i had to put them in one entry. anyway, it's plain to see how much viz dumbed it down... try to keep some of the sentence structure, maybe?
raw: 俺が後頭部を撃ち抜きました phonetic: ore ga koutoubu wo uchinukimashita my translation: I shot him through the back of the head. viz's translation: I plugged him in the back of the head. notes: listening to this line in the anime, i was chilled by how ogata conjugated the nasty verb "uchinuku" (to shoot through) with the polite verb ending "mashita." he's using mostly polite speech to speak to his father in this scene, despite everything. so that's one reason i don't like how viz used the nasty slang term "plugged" here. yes, both lines are nasty, but the politeness is what is striking.
raw: 少尉殿に対する妬みからじゃありません / 父上を苦しませたい…というのともちょっと違う / ただひとつ確かめてみたかった phonetic: shouidono ni taisuru sonemi kara ja arimasen / chichiue wo kurushimasetai... to iu no to mo chotto chigau / tada hitotsu tashikamete mitakatta my translation: It wasn't because I held any jealousy toward the second lieutenant. And it wasn't quite… that I wanted to make you suffer, father. There was just one thing I wanted to check. viz's translation: Not because I was jealous… / …or because I wanted to make you suffer. / I wanted to check something. notes: based on the way he said it, i think he did want to make his father suffer just a little. he said it was only chotto chigau.
raw: 勇作さんの戦死を聞いたとき… phonetic: yuusaku san no senshi wo kiita toki... my translation: When you heard about Yuusaku-san's death in battle... viz's translation: After you heard about his death in battle...
raw: 父上は俺を想ったのか.../ 無視し続けた妾の息子が急に愛おしくなったのではないかと... phonetic: chichiue ha ore wo omotta no ka... / mushi shitsuzuketa mekake no musuko ga kyuu ni itooshikunatta no de ha nai ka to... my translation: Did you think of me, father? / I thought you might suddenly come to love your long-ignored son of a mistress... viz's translation: …did you think of me? / Did you suddenly feel for the son you had ignored? notes: the phrase "itooshikunatta" is key here. it's from itooshii 愛おしい, "lovely; dear; beloved; darling; dearest," and the "natta" is "became." so it's along the lines of "suddenly became beloved" or "suddenly became dear to you." also he uses the past tense verb "omotta" (thought) but instead of the usual 思 kanji, he uses 想, which jisho.org says "has connotations of heart-felt."
raw: 祝福された道が俺にもあったのか… phonetic: shukufuku sareta michi ga ore ni mo atta no ka... my translation: Was there ever a blessed path for me, too? viz's translation: Was a blessed life ever even possible for me? notes: it's "path" in the metaphorical sense, as in the path you take in life. so translating it as a "blessed life" is acceptable here. and the "too" is probably referring to yuusaku, the blessed child.
now here is something worth noting. hanazawa's last words in this world were changed! well, you'd know if you watched the anime, but anyway, instead of the magazine version, "貴様の言うとおり,冷血で出来損ないの倅じゃ" (It is as you say; you are a cold-blooded and worthless son) it becomes as follows:
raw: 貴様の言うとおり何かが欠けた人間… / 出来損ないの倅じゃ // 呪われろ phonetic: kisama no iu toori nanika ga kaketa ningen... / dekisokonai no segare ja // norowarero my translation: It is as you say; you are missing something as a person… / You are a worthless son. // A curse upon you. viz's translation: You're right. You are missing something. / You're a rotten son… // …and I curse the day you were born! notes: the phrase "dekisokonai" is really cutting. it means, according to jisho.org, "failure; defective article; dead loss; botch; good-for-nothing; worthless person; flop." so "worthless" might be an understatement. what it doesn't mean is "rotten," but i digress. the phrase "reiketsu" (冷血, literally and figuratively "cold-blooded") was removed and replaced with the clause about missing something as a person. hanazawa's very last word, and this was added in the volume version as a new speech bubble, is literally "be cursed" (a command). i thought it could've used an exclamation point, but maybe hanazawa didn't have it in him.
the face that hyakunosuke makes immediately after his father's last words was also added in the volume version. what a treat!
i've been reading through the raws and analyzing them like this for a few weeks now. i mean i don't type them all up like this, but i do try to give the more interesting lines a deep read and try to learn a bunch of kanji while i'm at it. there's nothing like trying to read raw manga to make you feel like your 650-day duolingo streak is actually fuuucking worthless. so i'll make more translation notes posts in the future with some interesting lines that may have been translated strangely or incorrectly. specifically i might make a post similar to this one when i get to some more scenes about hyakunosuke and yuusaku (because i think lines were added in later scenes too) and his long talk with usami (where lines were also added). and maybe some scenes with tsukishima and koito. we'll see how long my hyperfixation lasts.
i guess i'll note that the phonetic transliteration of each line is based on my own arbitrary standards and not on any actual standard of writing out romaji (e.g. i tried to put spaces between words... mostly? i typed "wa" as "ha" when it's written with a "ha" hiragana, for no reason in particular... etc.). sorry if it's confusing.

Hi! I don't know whether you're interested with the topic I'm about to discuss, it's about the relationship between Kyouraku and Nanao. Lol. All we know until the end of TYBW is Kyoraku and Nanao are officially revealed as uncle and niece. Only to that point, no more no less. But yesterday I scrolled over Instagram and found somebody commented in a post about Kyoraku, asking 'Kyoraku and Nanao are married right?'. Of course, people are denying it (some even said he's married to his zanpakutou lol). Later, there's this one guy went 'YES THEY'RE CANONICALLY MARRIED AND YOU PEOPLE JUST DON'T ADMIT IT'. Then he got himself explaining about the moment in chapter 651 (when Nanao asked Kyoraku to gave her sword back, when she said something about 'The man I adore will laugh at the curse'), there's a kanji word on that scene that defining Nanao's love confession to Kyoraku that leading into their marriage (sorry I forgot which word, but it's on the exact scene I wrote before). At first I was certainly sure this guy most likely misinterpreted the situation. But later on, I asked myself, what if I'm the one who didn't understand what I read? What if they're actually married and I didn't realize it. Idk, but if it's true I feel like it somehow ruin the atmosphere of the story (plus I'm sure both of them never thought about marrying each other because WHY SHOULD I MARRY MY OWN UNCLE/NIECE??). That's why I wanna ask for your opinion since you're indeed a thorough reader of Bleach, are they indeed married? Or is there any indication they cross the path and begin as husband and wife? I'm sure none of us wanted it, imagine marrying our own uncle lol. Your analysis lighten up my soul as a die-hard fan of Bleach who loved to contemplating every simple detail of the story lol. Thanks before!
I’ll begin by admitting that I am not someone who is bothered by fictional cartoon ghost incest, so if Kyouraku and Nanao want to be married, sure, go be married! I’m 1000% certain weirder marriages have and will continue to happen in the Seireitei. But the part about this conversation that’s interesting to me is—
Well, let’s start from the beginning!
"Marriage" is on the table here as a thematic concept because of the Ise Curse, wherein Ise women marry men, and the men always die (and their children are always women). Nanao’s mom tried to cheat the system by marrying out of the Ise Clan and into the Kyouraku Clan, but her husband still died anyway.
Nanao’s line isn’t inherently about marriage—she uses the phrase お慕いする人 (oshitaisuru hito). お慕い (oshitai) is an honorific way of expressing admiration/respect/adoration/pining. But, especially with those last two, you can see the valid potential to read the line romantically. However, it can also be used in reference to a grandparent, a teacher, or other non-romantic partners for whom you feel deep admiration.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bleach 651
Given that the context is Nanao’s mother’s love life, and a curse that governs the love lives (and/or marriages) of Ise women, I think it’s reasonable to read that context into Nanao’s line, as well as into Kyouraku’s response (a small but witting smile), and to understand this exchange as romantic.
She's definitely talking about Kyouraku to Kyouraku here. But is she talking SOLELY about Kyouraku, or is she also referencing some future hypothetical man? I think that’s more open to interpretation.
As far as her message to Kyouraku, I’d personally read it less as a confession of love than as an assertion of agency. This is the part love so much about this scene: She and Kyouraku are losing this fight. Soul Society is losing this war. They’re probably all gonna die and it’s all beginning to feel a little preordained, a little like just deserts, a little like past romances being crushed by a cruel and inescapable family curse. For Nanao to say this now, in this moment, is to ask Kyouraku to stop protecting her and to let her join this fight―no matter the odds, no matter the sense of inevitable and pre-governed fates. Because the Kyouraku SHE knows doesn’t take shit from "fate"! He laughs at such things, and he believes, in the deepest core of his being, in a mutable world. This is what Nanao loves and admires about him.
She reminds him of this, and he smiles. They did not come here to die at the hands of the Wandenreich, or to fall to punishments meted out for crimes that are and are not theirs. If they have crimes to answer for, the answer is not death. There’s other work that must be done, on the other side of this. If Kyouraku can believe that about the Ise Curse (and Nanao's future love life with this future hypothetical man) and give Nanao her sword, then he can believe that about this Thousand-Year Blood War.
Can that faith and devotion also be read romantically? Yeah, sure go for it. Can it be read entirely platonically? I’d say yes, that too!
Personally, I think Nanao probably dodges the Ise Curse by being Extremely Lesbian, but whatever she ends up doing I’m pretty sure it involves a lot of sex and even more forms of love than that amount of sex that don’t have anything to do with sex OR romance. But that’s all beyond the purview of this scene. XD

"Place Your Bets" Translation
After quite a while of not translating (around a year), I am back. This time I translated Makonyan's new single, "Place Your Bets". The jazz and rock melody really grabs your attention and showcases his maturity.
This single is released to celebrate his 5th artist debut anniversary. As a way to give back to his fans, he brought us "Place Your Bets". Yes, he did write the lyrics.
According to Seigura July 2023 issue, this a parallel of "Miserable Masquerade". With the theme of it being "counter attack". It is about a man out for revenge. I will not try to explain too much cause I'll probably TL the article when the copy is in my hands.
Rainy Day is also another song he wrote the lyrics for. I'll most likely TL Rainy Day, too.
Before you start reading the TL, please do note a few stuff. I am no expert in Japanese and I am still learning it. I am sorry in advanced if there are any mistranslations. With that being said, please enjoy this masterpiece 🙏

(I) love you so much to the point that it destroys (me)
The night blooms as you ridiculed me with a "it's been a long time" *⑷
The captured, traveling innocence that was imprisoned *⑸
Stirred up fakeness
I've gone insane as I'm being exposed
Sepia painted endorphin
Daring lips, the wheel of reunion
The needle that moved will not be able to stop
(Break this, your jail
my oath, my faith)
The misérable noise of the bell
That surrender
Never disappearing mutterings
"Goodbye masquerade"
It's beautiful because it doesn't satisfy at all
The poker face facing the table
The unavoidable, undeceivable final blow of the last phase *⑹
A raise of intertwined gazes *⑺
Destroying each other until we're mad
I've arranged one of the best parting gift *⑻
Right in the middle of your heart,
I just stabbed it
The game is over
Notes:
⑴ 「踏み締める」means to harden by treading. I use trample just cause it's easier for many to understand. It's also not too long, unlike the original definition.
⑵ This starts the saga of "Furukawa Makoto using different furigana than the actual furigana of the kanji". 「関係性」is read as 「かんけいせい」(kankeisei). But the furigana says 「カタチ」(katachi). From what I have found, 「カタチ」means visage. Take this information as you will. I believe the visage of the relationship is the one that's fragile.
⑶ Similar situation to ⑵, 「勝負」is usually read as 「しょうぶ」(shoobu). But in here, it's written as 「ゆうぎ」(yuugi). 「ゆうぎ」can be written in kanji as 「遊戯」and 「遊技」. First one meaning "play" and the other meaning "pasttimes". Again, take this info as you will.
⑷ I did my best with this one. But this is just how much I can translate the sentence.
⑸ Same situation with ⑷, this is just how much I can translate the lyrics.
⑹ 「トドメ」here is written purely in katakana. So no kanji or anything which made it confusing. Other than translating to "final blow", it could also mean "stab".
⑺ Same situation as ⑷ & ⑸. This is seriously the best I can do for this sentence.
⑻ Has a similar situation here where he used straight up katakana [ハナムケ]. Further confusing which kanji it is. In the end, the only fitting meaning I found is a "parting gift". The other meaning has something to do with a horse's nose.
If you'd like to support me, you can do so by donating to my Ko-fi down here ^^

Okay, I actually managed to finish his art before his write-up this time! That being said, there’s definitely something going on here. I’m not sure what.
Name – Hayasaka Haruka (早坂 春花) (kanji in his last name mean “early,” “hill,” kanji in his first name mean “spring,” “flower”)
Age - 25
Gender – Male
Birthday – Apr. 12
Height – 160 cm
Blood Type – O
Image Colour - #00A86B
Occupation - Barista
Personality – He’s very open-minded and is always willing to listen to anyone else’s problems, but won’t pry. He’s almost always drinking something, but he refuses any alcohol.
He’s one of the sweetest prisoners in MILGRAM, never expressing distress or frustration beyond a few words. He believes that simply because he is in an unpleasant situation is no reason to be upset.
He doesn’t talk much about himself or his murder, and is very skilled at dodging any questions about it.
Canon Cover – Umbilical (sweet love song, because the other one was taken)
DECO*27 Cover - Fakery Tale
Vocaloid Cover – 1925
“Greetings, Miss Warden. Hayasaka Haruka, at your service. Yes, even in a place like this, I would still like to offer a comforting ear.”
“Ha. Ha. Ahahahahaha! You should’ve known better than to do that to someone like me.”
 MV – Ivy
His song would be like…indie bedroom guitar vibes, you know? His MV would be shot entirely from the perspective of his victim, and the colours would be fairly soft, like something you’d see on a children’s cartoon.
The MV starts with him in a university lecture hall, where he’s speaking with the lecturer. Contrary to all the others, he isn’t wearing a bookbag. He spots the person walking through the door and asks to follow them. As soon as he makes it across, the lecture hall and the doorframe disappear.
He and the other person are now sitting at either end of a tall counter, having an animated conversation, until two coffee cups slide in from offscreen, leaving a sparkly trail in Haruka’s image colour.
The scene suddenly cuts to his victim taking his hand and pulling him into a twirl. Haruka looks apprehensive at first, but then takes their hand and suddenly thrusts downwards, causing them to trip for a second before they stand back up.
Haruka and the other person are sitting in a bright green clearing surrounded by trees with flowers and a beam of sunlight streaming in the middle. The colours in this part are a lot more vivid than in the rest of the video. The person drifts off and places their head in Haruka’s lap, and the screen begins blurring. Haruka reaches out to take something from his bag, but then notices that the person is still staring and places a finger to his lips as the screen goes dark.
The MV ends with Haruka in the coffee shop, now overgrown by vines, draining a coffee cup with the letters LS written on it.
 Trivia
Murder isn’t his only crime.
Okay, look, I named him before I found out what Milgram was, and he fit too well not to put here.
He’s our oldest male prisoner and he has, shocker of shockers, a job and an actual life.
…yes, his MV is kinda short, I didn’t have many ideas.

OK P4 thoughts.... now that it's been like 18 hours...
overall... solid 8.5/10. i loveee murder mysteries
the dynamic between the characters carried the game more than anything
multiple moments where I laughed out loud so s/o to the writers
AND despite guessing the big twist from day one, I was pleasantly surprised by various other twists and turns in the story so yay :)
never before has a silent protagonist literally swayed my heart in such a way Yu Narukami you are my angelll
ok spoiler-y review below :)
okay. serious review time but keep in mind im fasting so like these are the rambles from that. i'll start with the positives :)
did not believe jordan when she said i would be adopting these children by the end yet here i am. every single character you met had such a sweet and profound relationship and dynamic with one another... it was so so sweet. truly the high point of the game is how the characters interact. Yukiko and Chie, Rise and Naoto, Rise and Yu, Teddie and Yosuke, Naoto and Kanji... even Yosuke and Yu..... like they were all so so so wonderfully crafted with one another... AND RISE WAS THE SHINING STARRRRR
Dojima and Nanako.... the way i thought they wouldn't have such a big role and then by the end i was crying . yeah. big bro . i love u .
I KNEW IT WAS ADACHI!!!! I LITERALLY CALLED IT FROM DAY ONE!!! DAY ONE!!!! I just couldnt stick why he was choosing the teenagers,.... hence why the twist with Namatane was so fucking good. S/O to Jordan and Fil who had to listen to me scream about how he was the killer without being able to shut me up.
Okay but in all seriousness Teddie becoming human was like the wildest part of the game like did no one else go ??
The soundtrack bangs. to be expected.
Yosuke's SL was my favorite... i dont know how teary eyed i got but whew. it was teary. the ending scene on the grass... yea... yea...
man. the icon. the star. Yu Narukami. I NEVER thought I would like the protagonist, at least not more than "he's cool", and yet by the end I was more sad than anything to say goodbye to him!!! i had so much joy playing as him, he was so funny, so loyal, his dialogue options we're just phenomenal. He felt like a real character in his own world despite never even talking. I think I'll miss him the most/
ok time for the bad stuff:
okay like atlus why do you do this thing where you create such a good amazing storyline about humanity and what makes you you only to drop the ball and opt to make things creepy or some form of phobic !!! like WHY!!!!!!!
Kanji's treatment was actually vileeeee . I hate how they chickened out in the last moment because instead of having a whole discussion abt homophobia internalized and otherwise you've just created a homophobic ass arc in the game that serves no purpose. like UGH. just go the full mile!!! go !!! let him understand there's nothing wrong wit him being gay!!! stop backing out!! You quite literally would've had a near perfect arc if you just went that extra mile and didn't make things weird !!!
also naoto........ don't even wanna trudge into the discourse here but he/him Naoto is where I stand idk. his story kinda felt really similar to my own when i was in my teens but... again...Atlus...
hey atlus can you make ONE game where there isn't 10 scenes of teenage boys being creeps or has some form of teenage fan service. please.
rlly sucks that i cant reccommend this game without caveats because atlus is.... ugh. but yes. i did enjoy it. it has some moments that are genuinely uncomfortable and made me go :///. but i can fix things as is my will as a writer etc etc.
yeah i think thats what i have for now. i loved playing this game but i think i'll love thinking abt it and plotting even more..... <33333

Sogo Osaka - 16 Idol Album - Part 1: 16 Idol Album
Tumblr media
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
Yamato: Was it really that enjoyable? That “Welcome to the kids' room” program we recently joined
Tsumugi: Yes!! Apparently, your cuteness became extremely popular!
Tsumugi: That’s why we decided to join a project where we will hear your childhood stories once more, searching for the roots that have led to your present selves!
Iori: Our roots?
Riku: Roots, how cool! I suppose there are programs that deal with these kinds of stories!
Mitsuki: Aah! The kind of speech that you would make with somebody sitting next to you inside a taxi!  Like, your concept of life, your enthusiasm toward your job…
Nagi: Oh! The songs played at the end of those programs are always impressive
Yamato: With those kinds of songs played you look cool anyway, no matter what you say. They make your words cooler than a casual conversation
Tamaki: You’re right! I want those songs to be played next time I’ll make Sou chan angry!
Sogo: Mh? Why?
Riku: Oh, I see the point! You’ll have them played so that Sogo san’s words will reverberate in your heart, thanks to the power of a cool song!
Tamaki: That’s also true, but the moment when he forgives me will reverberate in my heart even more
Sogo: The power of music is surely great… it’ll reverberate even more…
Tamaki: Yeah! Why don’t we prove that right now?
Iori: Aah…manager, please, go ahead
Tsumugi: Yes…
Tsumugi: This time it won’t be such a specific program… we’d like to hear stories based on the pictures from your childhood
Tsumugi: Apparently Re:vale, Trigger and Zool will join the project as well, so the producer said that he wants it to be an exciting 16 person party!
Sogo: 16 people…it’s a pretty high number…
Nagi: It’s the perfect number for a party!
Mitsuki: How could we make it exciting, though? If we let everybody talk, it’s gonna be a huge mess…
Yamato: Don’t be so focused on the number, Mitsu. We managed these kinds of things before, after all. If I remember correctly, we’ve never had that kind of problem with the people concerned
Iori: That’s right, nii san. I mean, if we were talking about the seven of us…
Riku: What could I talk about, if I met Touma? Ah, I wonder if he watched the movie that made all of America cry! It was released recently
Riku: By the way, why is “all of America” written with the same kanji we use for “rice”?
Nagi: Hm…in Japan they say there are seven gods in each rice grain. These gods cried… would that be the reason?
Tamaki: They’re seven, just like us…when I meet Isumin for the project, I’ll be proud to say we’re just like gods
Sogo: Tamaki kun, couldn’t you tell him that at school? We’re supposed to talk about our childhood memories in the project…
Iori:...there you go
Mitsuki&Yamato: I see…
Yamato: Well, if people start talking about any possible topic in the universe, be sure to show us a good Big Bang, Mitsu
Mitsuki: Man, I wonder how many times I’ll be supposed to create the universe…well, in the end I’ll just have fun with it as usual after all
Yamato: You’re right, you’re right…
Mitsuki: Okay! Let’s enjoy this project as hard as we can, the 16 of us!
Everybody: Yeah!
*Cut to a hallway*
Sogo: Yuki san, thank you for all the advice you gave me today
Yuki: I should be the one thanking you
Yuki: It’s been a while since the last time we could spend some time together, the two of us. It was fun to chat with you again
Sogo: Don’t mention it. Just the fact that you kindly agreed to listen to me…
Gaku: Ah, look who’s here. Osaka and Yuki san
Sogo: Yaotome san, Nagi kun? Ah, you told me that you had a job together
Nagi: Yes! We both have to work as models. The magazine will be published this month, so be sure to get a copy, mister Yuki
Yuki: Okay. I’ll buy 1000 copies
Gaku: Nah, one is enough. You two had work together as well?
Sogo: No, Yuki san was giving me some precious advice. I’m troubled with the song I’m currently composing…
Gaku: I see. You're composing songs for MEZZO”, aren’t you?
Gaku: “Forever note” was cool
Sogo: T-thank you very much…! Being praised by Yaotome san is…!
Yuki: The new song is pretty rock as well. It’s remarkable, the sound just comes and hits you. But it’s your style, so that’s okay
Yuki:....now that I praised you like Yaotome did, would you show the same enthusiasm?
Sogo: T-thank you so much…!  The world could end tomorrow and it would be totally fine with me…!
Nagi: No way, I'd be in trouble. I need to be sure to watch Kokona until the very end
Nagi: Sogo. Before the end of the world, would you let us listen to your song?
Gaku: Yeah, I’d like to listen to it as well. Of course, I’m not forcing you to
Sogo: What, I should be thanking you instead! Please, let me know your opinion
Yuki: Shall we go to a café, then? We can talk there
Nagi: Oh, good idea! At this time, finding free seats shouldn’t be a problem!
*Cut to a cafe*
Sogo:...something like that. What do you think….?
Nagi:  Even if there aren’t lyrics yet,  I could already perceive the passionate and conflictual emotions you feel towards music. I think that’s what mister Yuki meant when he said that it’s like being hit by feelings
Gaku: Uhm…this song really captures your essence, Osaka
Gaku: The guitar solo part came right into my chest. I can’t make music, so I don’t know how to explain it properly…
Sogo:...thank you so much. I’m not sure if we can realistically sing this song, but I still wanted to write it down the way it is, without holding anything back
Sogo: Nothing would make me happier that knowing I was able to make my feelings reach you
Yuki:...this kind of hard rock makes me think about the 70s. Were you influenced by something?
Sogo: Well…after a long time, I listened again to a vinyl my uncle gave me years ago…
Sogo: So many memories blew through my body and I had to create a sound, and what I made in the heat of the moment is the song you just listened to
Nagi: You’re talking about the person standing next to you in the picture you brought to  “Welcome to the kids room”, right?
Sogo: Yes. He was the one who introduced me to music
Sogo: He used to tell me about music with such a happy face. I admired him so much. He was free, he had no restraint. I wanted these memories to become a song
Sogo: …but after all what hides behind this song are my feelings. Since it was just my ego creating it, I wasn’t sure other people would find it interesting
Sogo: I wanted to ask Yuki san’s opinion and he really helped me
Yuki: Composers themselves are, in the first place, egomaniacs. We were talking about that earlier
Gaku: Wait…for real?
Nagi:...I think so. He was a free spirit as well, after all…
Yuki: When I compose, I always think: “This song comes from all the shit I’ve been going through. How could you people not like it? You must say it’s wonderful”
Yuki: Sogo kun, there’s nothing wrong with making your feelings become music
Sogo: Yuki san…
Gaku: Yeah. Don’t say that what you created is uninteresting. I like your music
Sogo:....! Y-yes….!
Nagi: Through this song, I could be part of you and your uncle’s story. That’s a wonderful experience
Nagi: Please, suffer until you're completely satisfied
Sogo:...ahah. Yes, I’ll try my best
Sogo: All the things that my uncle used to show me, to let me listen to…they really seemed to come from another world. I had so much fun…
Sogo: They were the only moments when I had the impression to be free
Yuki: That’s good. Don’t forget it. It’ll become the root of your music
Sogo:...yes. I want to write songs that are able to free both myself and those who listen to them
Gaku: Wow. You put on quite a cool expression, Osaka
Sogo: R-really…?
Gaku: Yeah. You’re making the face of somebody full of confidence. I bet you wouldn't be afraid of drinking some alcohol with me, right now
Sogo: T-that’s another story…
Yuki: That’s unfair, Gaku kun. I also want to have something with you
Nagi: Hm..you guys are pretty complicated adults, aren’t you? I guess I have to go back to the dressing room, then?
Sogo: No! Come with us, Nagi kun!
Nagi: How strange…I can almost see Tamaki’s distress
Yuki: Okay then, let’s put on our best teammate faces and go drink with Sogo kun. It’s been a while since the last time we did it
Gaku: Ahah, we can’t. There’s a team member who can’t drink among us
Sogo: T-teammate faces…?
Nagi: I absolutely hate that. Those who are under 20 years always get the short end of the stick
Yuki: That’s pretty harsh of you, Nagi kun
Sogo: E-err…
Yuki: That’s fine. I’ll be looking forward to drinking something with you when the song is finished
Gaku: Yeah. But it’s already an amazing song, of course…
Gaku: Face your worries until you’re satisfied, and then let me hear a song that tells your true feelings
Sogo: Yes. I want to put all the things that my uncle taught me, all the emotions that he made me feel into it
Nagi: If the day comes when this song becomes MEZZO”’s song, or our song…I’ll be looking forward for it
Sogo:...thank you
Sogo: I’ll do my best to make you guys say confidently that you wish to hear my song
Sogo: Just wait a little bit longer
End of part 1
