Doodle Hell #06? (Kasi Edition)

Its all... Kasikah??? Always has been-

So here is the full pick of this week's Doodle Hell. This time featuring a OC of mine that I have been kinda obsessive over since their conceptualization.

Chapter 1, The original Kasi:

No context here just.. Some drawings of the original Kasikah featuring her hubba, Rudy Williams (Goober who is missing a eye).

This includes:

A Sketch of what normal Kasikah is supposed to look like.

Her just... loafing like a cat? (Phoraloxes can do that apparently)

Idk just some wholesome garbage bcs we more of that where the he'll I'm going.

& a "Hehe >:3" moment lol.

Chapter 2, Uh... a more accurate depiction of what Kasi!Phen looks like (Phen 228/The Boiled One but with Kasi's attributes & bits of her personality)

MMMMMMM YEH MORE SPOOPS AHHAHAH. (& yes I know I have Kasi!Phen legs but for the most part they don't hab legs, instead he be melted on the floor, being stinky, & waiting for the time to steal yur spine.. THE PHENLINGS NEED TO EAT SOMEHOW!)

This Includes:

A portrait of that spine stealing sleep paralysis demon.

Just them... occasionally having no frikin legs (as Phen 228 do).

They are just doing their job beo, why u annoyed? (Featuring cameos of JJ & Neppy)

(Phen 228 belongs to Doctor Nowhere but KasiPhen was created by me as part of a AU of them called "Mother Phen")

Chapter 3, "Nice Opnion, one small issue, I am inside your home." -The Intruder from The Mandela Catalogue.

Im just not gonna explain this one. Does this have any true importance? Eh not rlly I just wanted to draw Kasi as the child stealer from that horror series on YT about some demons taking over earth by telling ppl to [REDACTED] themselves with info that is way too complex for the human mind itself.

One thing that was very interesting to me in this episode is the way Eddie was just... not joking about Buck's love interests.

That stuck out.

Usually when Eddie talks to Buck about his love interests, it's with an edge of fond exasperation, teasing laced around his gently delivered truths, but there was none of that this episode. Buck told Eddie he went to see Natalia and it was like something switched. Eddie's entire affect changed when Buck started talking about Natalia. He went from being loose and easy (as loose and easy as one can get when standing at a grave) to being... not combative, necessarily, but visibly actively not wanting to engage in conversation about her either, and it's not...

It's not even jealousy!! We joke a lot about Eddie and jealousy, but it wasn't that at all. It was a fatigue that comes with silence, that comes with holding your tongue, that comes with keeping secrets. Especially when Buck said that he feels like Natalia sees him. That look Eddie gave him immediately after? That was pure hurt. That was him saying I see you too, I've always seen you. But he can't say that. He can't say that, because to say that would be to say so many other things about the way he sees Buck, and to say so many other things would mean to have to unstick his tongue from the roof of his mouth about the ONE thing he's been holding onto ever since he was shot.

I don't know. I don't know, but I think Eddie taking Buck on a date and I think about how Eddie left his son—his heart—in Buck's care so they could bake cookies together (which becomes profoundly more significant in an episode where Christopher was talking about baking smores with his mom), and I think about Kenny saying Ryan has been doing some very nuanced work in the back half of this season, I'm like

Oh. Oh. I see it, thank you. Loud and clear.

#Before 5B I was like 'Eddie's pining era Eddie's pining era WHEN?'#but babes we are right in the thick of it. It's in his eyes. It's in his smile. It's in the way he looks Buck #in the way he treats him. In the way he creates space for his confusion for his fatigue for his grief.#In the way he shows quiet support and a stern shoulder to lean upon #In the way he doesn't burden Buck with his own feelings (even though that's mostly selfish on his part because #no part of Eddie will ever be a burden on Buck but Eddie doesn't know that yet)#It's just. Eddie's feelings for Buck are literally in *everything* he says and everything he does #It bleeds from him just like his blood did on that street.#If everything about Buck/Eddie's lives have been shrouded by the shooting since it happened #everything about their lives has *also* been shrouded by Eddie's enormous and unflinching love for him #and he keeps holding his breath and swallowing it down and putting off the moment where he pulls back the lid #and it all spills out and before he knows it... before he knows it #it's going to be too late. And instead of his blood staining the street it's going to be Buck's and he's going to tell him #but he won't hear him because Eddie was too slow too fucking slow #(did we all peep the watch on his wrist? Yeah. Time is running out Eddie. Time is running out and it is not going to #wait for fear to release its hold on you. Buck's not going to cheat death again. Don't waste time babe)#Anyways. Yeah. The black borders around Silver's eyes extend all the way around the top of his eyes but on his 06 model they stop at the sides. In concept art they went under his eyes instead.

brainstorming how i want to approach the abilities elise gets tapping into some of iblis' power! as the story progresses, she'll learn her fear of herself is what fuels the flames trying to consume her, and it takes a little encouragement/self confidence to channel it into something she's able to use the way she'd want to!

her inhibitor rings work similar to shadow (i wonder who had the papers to fashion something similar?) in that it keeps most of that raw power at bay--because while fire-wielding runs in the royal family, none of them had a very angry half of a god sealed inside of their soul, and without those rings elise would very quickly become consumed by the flames of disaster.

My last post made me want to spin the ballet au to suit the general cast, keeping Es as the protagonist 🩰

I don't have art for this one but I still got a bit carried away with the details LOL This definitely leans more into a sweet fix-it :3

The story would open with Es waking up in the medical room of Milgram Dance Academy, a very small and isolated school. Es is told they suffered a bad head injury during a performance, resulting in amnesia. Their instructor (Jackalope. Make this work however you wish.) tells them not to worry about it, and to focus on their dancing for now. Es feels a pressing responsibility to stay and rehearse, so they agree.

Jackalope tells them they must understudy several roles while recovering, not ready to jump into things right away. They're grateful, since they're struggling with their identity and expression without their memories.

The first student they are directed to is a shy and lanky dancer by the name of Haruka. They study under him as the role of a graceful, melancholic swan. They watch the choreography in general, and it looks nice enough. Es proceeds to spend several rehearsals with him, talking and bonding and learning he has a bit more going on than meets the eye. They try to offer help as he admits to familial issues, self esteem questions, and comments about sibling jealousy. In turn, he teaches Es to mimic some of his powerful emotions. At the end of their time together, they both perform for their class in full costume and staging. Now, Es understands each move with a deeper understanding than their initial look at the steps.

Next, they’re sent to meet the bubbly girl playing Juliet and begin the process anew. This continues to make a total of ten roles. Some of the dancers take the sessions kindly, while others are brash, secretive, or just confusing.

After rehearsing with Kotoko and learning to understand her determination and confidence, Es is sent back to Haruka, who has moved onto a new show and new role. They’re shocked to discover that their words to each dancer – always well-intentioned – had caused some issues backstage. Now, there are rivalries and changes in stage presence. While experiencing stress (that Es has inadvertently caused,) some were distracted in rehearsal and got injured. Es must take on the interpersonal issues as well as the choreography challenges.

I don’t have all the roles down and was trying to stick to well-known shows anyway, but I think I’d want Muu to be the Sugar Plum Fairy, Kazui to be Albrecht from Giselle, and Amane to be Clara. I wanted to keep them traditionally gendered to prove there are plenty of roles for men, but I can’t help but have Odette/Odile thoughts for T1 Mikoto ;-;

Like the other post, I'm equally tempted to have the dancers performing ballet adaptations of the mvs 👀 I want to see. Bee tutu. Doctor coat costume. Marching band tutu. AKAA mismatched look. The backgrounds. The music. The choreo. So many cool possibilities...

As a sweet au, it all ends with everyone better for having met one another. Es is cast in a solo performance, combining everything they've learned both emotionally and technically from the others. They feel satisfied with their sense of identity, and shine onstage ✨️✨️✨️

I think if i could change one thing about Sonic 06's story, it would actually not be plugging a plot hole. It'd be making it clear that Elise gets to be happy in the new timeline.

I love the idea of Shadow being Silver's dad, but only in the really awkward:

"you're biologically my dad but not in this instance of you in this current timeline and actually I'm not sure if we're creating a paradox right now but y'know my original timeline's already been erased from existence so what's the worst that can happen?"

They only figure this out because one day Silver loses his inhibitor rings and before he can lose control, Shadow slaps his own onto Silver's wrists and it works without a hitch?? Which leads Tails to speculate that they'd have to have pretty similar DNA since Shadow's inhibitors were created specifically for him aboard the ARK-

-leading to them both sitting around in Tail's lab after the DNA results come in, staring awkwardly at each other. Silver says that he doesn't want this to affect their friendship. I mean, after all, Silver's birthday is like 200 years in the future, so they don't have to sweat it for a while, right?

In the meantime, though, Shadow starts giving more tips about being An Ultimate Lifeform and the likes. Silver does end up asking about his heritage and is absolutely appalled when Shadow smirks and says, "welcome to the Robotnik family."

Going over this story again. In it Silver decides that he wants to become a hero because it means being someone that can protect smiles. This is why Silver is now an aspiring hero.

I didn't notice before but Silver smiles/people's happiness have always been important to Silver along with the blue sky. This is his motivation.

As this tweet says, Silver can't help but smile when he sees people's smiling faces.
