Cause think about it, they are all Ecto-contaminated. Maybe not all LIMNAL but at the very least? The closer they lived and worked to that Ecto Hot Spot? The thicker it runs in their blood.

What am I talking about? Basically, Yes. All the things. If it's a Thing, Ectoplasm would Prefer It NOT. Ectoplasm is corrosive AF. Aggressive AF. Will eat and eat and eat. And who would win?

Primordial Semi-Feral Plasma... or a virus.

Their immune systems are non-existent. Gutted and replaced by the goo in their veins. Virus goes in, thunder dome proceeds. Victory, as always, to The Goo. Which MEANS?

Zombies are just low-grade HIGHLY SHITY ghosts to them. Probably the result of someone fucking around with crude, man-made Ectoplasm in a disease research facility. These guys are knockoffs of the most OBNOXIOUS variety. But unfortunately... there are a lot of them.

Manager Kim as a dad would be insanely protective of you and a literal definition of a helicopter parent and rightfully so considering all that he's been through in his life with crackheaded mafia bosses and North and South Korean gangsters chase after him and the military and whatnot. Needless to say, he's lived a really rough life and he'll be damned if he let anything happen to you and Minji because of his past. He'll do his best to shield you from the horrors of his past and make sure you only have happy memories and things to think about

He's a bit sad that Minji seems to dislike him but takes comfort and solace in the fact that you like him. You cannot have friends till he runs a full background check on them and after rounds and rounds of interrogation to find out their intentions with you, only then will he allow you to hang out with him, of course, you'll have to call him every 10 minutes and he'll know about your location anyway because of the GPS tracker he's installed on your phone. Plus, you have your older sister Minji looking out for you too so everything will be fine

Everything else is secondary, you're important to him, more than you know and can imagine. He would literally murder and kill anyone who dares to have the thought of harming you and Minji. In fact he has. A few weeks ago a new bookstore opened up near your house and you were pretty excited to check it out since you had a fondness for books. He allowed you to explore it only if Minji could accompany you as well, which she would have done in the first place, she's equally overprotective of you as well with the overwhelming and constant urge to protect her younger sibling from danger and guide them in the time of their need

The bookstore was a quaint little place and you loved the cozy aura and warmth it radiated. While you were busy checking the books out, a few men who appeared to be members of the Yakuza entered the store. Minji instinctively rushed in front of you and threatened them to leave as they simply sneered at her. One of them leered at you with a wide grin on his face as he spoke "Boss will be happy to have a cutie like you in bed with him... or if he doesn't want you, don't worry, I'll take care of you and show you a good time... we can share among my pals too if you want~" Minji got livid at the garbage they spewed as you felt disgusted and slightly scared about what these men might do to you. You didn't have fighting lessons as a kid and you definitely didn't know how to fight a full grown man from the Yakuza

A few seconds later, you heard a few men groaning in agony as you noticed two people move with lightning speed, disarming the men and tactically fighting them. You took a closer look and couldn't believe your eyes when you saw your dad and his friend, Hansu Seong just dodging their punches with ease and delivering punches and kicks like it was nothing. Your dad had a chain with him as he wrapped it around the neck of someone and chocked him with it till he passed out cold. You stared in admiration as Hansu leaped at a great height and kicked his opponents, rendering them with agony and brutal pain

After they ensured you were all right, Manager Kim got you out of that damned bookstore immediately. It turned out they belonged to one of the most prominent yakuza gangs of the country and were sent since your dad had a tiff with their boss. After this incident, you weren't allowed to go anywhere without him or Hansu anymore. He kept a strict eye and monitored your electronic usage as well, limiting you to only an hour on your phone or laptop while he's in the same room with you. There are reports of hackers installing malware into computer systems, he just wants to keep you safe from harm

You'll soon grow weary and fed up with this lifestyle of not being able to do your own thing anymore. You can reason, argue or even cry for that matter with your dad but he won't budge from his decision. As much as it pains him when you're upset, he can't risk your safety. Your safety is more important to him than anything else. It's not like you can exactly ask your dear older sister Minji for help anyway, she'll know what you're planning and instantly report it to her dad and the two of them will shut down whatever idea was forming in that head of yours without even getting to execute it. If you have a diary you can bet your allowance she WILL read it, every page and every word

It's not like she wants to invade your privacy or anything, she just wants to know more about you and keep a protective watchful eye over you like any good older sibling does. If you have a crush or someone broke your heart, she'll inform your dad about it immediately and before you know it that particular family will leave the country as soon as possible. Your dad and your sister like spoiling you with whatever you ask for, anything you ask, you receive except for your freedom of course

You can't really go ask Hansu or Jincheol for help either, Jincheol will just egg Manager Kim on with how risky things are outside for a young little thing like yourself and you need protection. You can't trust Taehun and Dabin either, they'll snitch on you anyway to their dads and their dads will inform yours and before you know it, you'll have a whole squad looking for you if you ever thought about running away or escaping. Surprisingly not even Taehun will assist you in running away, he'll just swat you on the head and tell you to forget the idea and go back to your dad. You clearly aren't meant to be alone in a cruel world

I guarantee you, it won't even be 5 minutes before your dad finds you and will just carry you like a sack of flour with a stoic expression. However his heart is bleeding with pain and regret, not because of his parenting but because you felt the need to run away since you obviously thought he wasn't showering you with more attention. "I recommend some nice hot dinner and a good night's sleep to forget about the night you've had... it's dangerous what you've done" said Hansu, his voice a bit stern as he adjusted his glasses. "As much as I'm all for having fun, you did give your old man a damn heart attack running away like that, don't do that kid..." said Jincheol as you were carried back home. You sighed in defeat and realized dejectedly that there really was no way out for you. Might as well just give up. No one would help you anyway, not even the police officers who know all too well about your dad's records with the government. No one wants to mess with an ex war veteran after all, not unless they have a death wish...

I don’t think they get along. In a playful way, i mean.

i imagine they got put in time out a lot a kids for bickering too much.

We think minji has a soft personality, but we only see her interact with adults. Taehoon and Minji probably gang up on Dabin a lot. And sometimes minji and dabin gang on on Gayhoon.

Does anyone else think gayhoon and minji would be a cute end couple? I'm not sure kim would approve on anyone else haha

Little thought on the Manager Kim trio's family

Okay so while I was reading the latest chapter of Manger Kim, I had a thought. I don't know why but can you see Mr. Kim with Minji. Hansoo with Taehoon. Jincheol with Dabin sitting around Hansoo's dining room table having like a seasonal(winter, summer etc) dinner. I had this thought like surely they would have dinner together maybe once every three months. I could see the scene play out. Like none of the trios kids talking to each other and being on their phones, and then the trio just casually chatting about who's got a better kid while Jincheol and Mr. Kim gang up on Hansoo for having a son, and they like kinda bicker and stuff. Please tell me I'm not the only one who could see this happening.

Synopsis: Shin Y/N was given the task to deliver her best friend's love letter to the shoe locker of Park Sunghan, the president of the broadcasting club. It just so happened to be that Park Sunghan's shoe box is situated right next to the shoe box of Park Sunghoon, a boy whose name had a one-syllable difference.

WEDNESDAY, 11:50 a.m. — Decelis Academy

It was day one of Y/N's mission to avoid Park Sunghoon at all costs. Minji was right about clearing up the misunderstanding face-to-face, but the absolute shame and embarrassment Y/N felt was too tremendous to even be in the same room as him. That's why when she met eyes with the boy in the hallway, she froze and turned the other way to start sprinting as fast as she could.

Down two flights of stairs and taking multiple lefts and rights, Y/N stopped behind a wall and hunched over with her hands on her knees to catch her breath, believing that she was already far from the boy.

" Shin Y/N!" She heard her name and heavy footsteps echo through the empty hallway that her legs brought her to. Knowing that voice, she straightened up and was ready to run away once again. She pivoted herself to face the right end of the hall and took a few starting steps. She was stopped when an arm slammed against the wall she was previously leaning on and prevented her from moving any further. Her eyes travelled to the sound of heavy breathing coming out of Park Sunghoon's mouth. Park Sunghoon, Decelis' rugby player. Park Sunghoon, one of the school's heartthrobs. Park Sunghoon, the boy who caught her slipping a letter into his locker. Park Sunghoon, the boy who encased her between him and the wall with an arm next to each side of her head.

"Can we talk, please?"

Y/N was so caught up by the situation she was in that she couldn't give a proper verbal answer. She could only stare at his neck while listening to him pant, his chest heaving up and down with each breath. She didn't dare look up into his eyes even though she could feel his piercing into her.

"That letter you delivered," he started. "I read it." Y/N leaned back into the wall in hopes of disappearing into it.

"Which one?" she cautiously asked.

"What do you mean? The one I saw you deliver?" That's right. Chaewon's letter to Sunghan was anonymous (as learned from Eunchae), meaning Sunghoon couldn't have known that she was the one to deliver that one too.

"Nevermind!" Y/N freaked out and waved her hands in front of her as she finally looked up at Sunghoon's face. "Listen, I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding here."

"I know. I wanted to clear things up between us. That's why I was so persistent in chasing you." Sunghoon straightened himself out and took his hands off of the wall— he moved to lean his back on the wall across from the girl. With an embarrassed flush spreading across his cheeks, he explained, "That letter you saw me carrying that day, I didn't write it. I swear it wasn't mine!"

"Huh?" Y/N tilted her head. "What letter?" Sunghoon briefly widened his eyes.

"You didn't see the letter in my hand that day?"

"How could I? I was too busy running away from you." Her voice gradually shifted into a mumble as her sentence continued, and her head slightly dropped down to look at her shoes instead of him. Sunghoon exhaled a sigh of relief and amusement through his nose.

"Well that's a relief. I just wanted to clear that up with you. It was actually a letter to the president of the broadcasting club–"

"Park Sunghan?!" Y/N shouted and whipped her head back up to look at him. Sunghoon raised an eyebrow at her sudden interest.

"Yes...? What's got you all worked up?"

"Well, you read my letter didn't you?"

"Yeah, it was an apology for delivering a letter to me on accident and that it was meant for someone—" Sunghoon paused and recalled what he read, leading to him giving an understanding nod. "Ohh, I get it now. So you were the one who delivered that letter for Sunghan?" Y/N nodded. "But you delivered it to me instead?" Y/N nodded. "Because he's the one you have a crush on?" Y/N nodded— no, Y/N shook her head once she realized her mindless nods could stir up even more misunderstandings.

"I did it for my friend." Sunghoon gazed at her with a soft look in his eyes, unknown to himself. He stepped closer to her and stopped just when the tips of their shoes were a few centimeters apart.

"What a good friend you are." Sunghoon lightly pet her head. Another wave of embarrassment washed throughout Y/N's body and urged her to swat his hand away.

"Yeah, yeah. Well since this is cleared up, promise not to tell anyone what happened?" She stuck her pinky out. Sunghoon smiled and linked his pink with hers.

"I promise. And don't worry, I delivered Sunghan's letter for you."

Mission saved.

Okay, here’s a prompts/headcanon since me + writing = procrastination.

IF someone feels like actually writing something like that, do tell me.

I believe there will be one day, perhaps five years or shit from the current timeline, when all will be well and solved — a time of smooth sailing at last.

When we discover that Johan and Luah had been living together for quite some time

In that time, at long last, the Mighty Warren Chae will propose to Sally Park.

The thing is, Sally finds herself rather confused. She knows for certain that Warren is an orphan. So how does she have in-laws to meet? Warren... isn't too sure either.

Or,

Manager Kim invite his spiritual son and daughter-in-law to be at his home to congratulate them on their engagement.

Unfortunately? no way in the world Hansu Seong and Jincheol Park would miss out on meeting the rumored heir of their friend.

• Taehun really didn’t want to come. Unfortunately, Manager Kim is a man who can, has and will beat his ass if disrespected, so he had no choice but to be there in his most proper suit to politely greet the guests.

• Dabin heard her dad’s friends’ pupil were strong guys around her age, so she came out of curiosity, but now she feel wronged, no, in fact she feels personally offended. One is an a vicious looking ostrich, only it sticks his head in the ground whenever Mr. Kim so much as glance his way, and the other is a massive, collared dog with a freaking identification tattoo, who is always, A.L.W.A.Y.S standing at attention toward wherever his fiancee is. Ugh, so tamed it’s gross. At least the dads are raising the bar, with Mr. Sung being a Ninja Shrimp and Mr. Kim a Black Panther.

• Minji and Sally bond over being unimpressed at the whole shitshow turning into a successor competition between the three old men. Well, between Manager Kim and Hansu, while Jincheol is complaining about the wasted potential of his future? potential? son-in-law and he gets choked by his daughter who start screeching about the comparative merits of a bear and a honey badger.

• Bonus is that Taehun (bored) text a pic of the room to Hobin, who shows him to the others, and Rumi & Gaeul instantly identify Big Mama and Big Uncle from Like What & So Funny’s streaming, and pester Hobin to go meet them. Perhaps even Gaeul dad’s pursue follows them cuz he does not approve of his daughter going out so late at night ("What’s with the rat and the rooster," says Dabin)

• Chaos upgrade to another level as the old men are getting drunk — trying to get their respective successors fight, including Hobin. Meanwhile, the girls are… chatting? Appalled? Squealing over pic of Yenna? Trying to stop the stoopid guys from fighting? Watching with pop corn? Dabin at least sure is.

note on Dabin’s animals:

— Taehun is an ostrich cuz they are super aggressive, super territorial, super fast and have deadly kicks. Also there’s that thing about sticking their head into the ground facing danger, that isn’t actually true, but I found it funny to use it as a mark of Manager Kim’s dominance

— Warren is a dog. Yeah, I thought I would keep the dog for Johan, but ‘fidelity’ is Warren second name, so. Btw Johan is actually more of a lone wolf than a dog in my opinion. So dog Warren as a collar, and an ‘identification tattoo’ cuz while tattoos generally make for meany-scary, for Warren it’s more of an owner-branding. He’s a simp so dog-Warren is always turned towards Sally even (in the rare cases where) human Warren isn’t.

— Hansu Seong is a ninja shrimp. Those little things are mad. Don’t wanna make a whole essay so I’ll just say their specialty is explosive hits.

— Manager Kim is a black panther. Dark, dangerous, silent predator, king of the jungle, I don’t think I need to explain

— Hobin is a rat 🐀 — sly little thing with higher intelligence than most other animals, and a great learning capability — plus they can use tools. Also Hobin is like, a rat for money stuff.

— Gaeul’s dad (= Hobin’s master) is a rooster 🐔 yeah I know the guy in rooster mask is Samdak, but he has the rooster vibe? Idk I’m running out of ideas. My first idea was duo rooster and chicken for him and Hobin.
