I mean... it's Lando's spring break, of course, he had to do fatherly stuff hahaha BUT THE FAMILY GETAWAY IS OVER AND HE'S GOING SOMEWHERE ON HIS OWN AGAIN and I guess I could also be enjoying my spring break and not having to work since he doesn't either BUT I CHOOSE TO COME AND MAKE AN EARBISCUITS AND I AM BRINGING MY BELOVED WIFE AND WE ARE GOING TO TALK ABOUT OUR LOVING TEXTS, OUR VALENTINE'S DATE A MONTH AGO AND OUR PERSONALITY TRAITS AND HOW WE WORK SO WELL TOGETHER

Ponyboy says he's been 14 for a month, so that means the book is taking place in August...

Ponyboy: Been 14 for one month

Sodapop: Will be 17 in two months

Darry: Been 20 for eight months

Steve: Been 17 for four months

Dally: Will be 18 in three months

Two Bit: Been 18 for three months

Johnny: Been 16 for five months

This is from a Scooby-Doo clip I saw but because I have Outsiders brain rot I obviously made it abt the Outsiders 😭

It was a clip of Fred and the gang walking these dark tunnels and he just randomly yells "stop! Stop!" And everyone does stop and they're like "😦😟" and he goes "my shoes untied." Then he ties it and just gives a giant thumbs up 😭 and they keep going

Tell me WHY this is exactly what Soda would do 😭😭😭 the gang is like on their way to a rumble or they're all walking at night time and he just immediately "Stop! Stop!" And they think he sees the socs or another gang or SOMETHING and he just looks at them and goes "my shoes untied 😕" plzz 😭

I have this headcannon where Steve is either Italian or Mexican. Idk what abt him gives me that vibe, but it does for some reason.

when I first read it in school truly believed they were drag queens.

I literally thought they just stopped being greasers for a bit, threw on a wig and some lipstick, and strutted across the street to a drag race.

honestly I'm disappointed that isn't the reality.

i totally agree but what do you think should of been added?

1. the relationship between pony and darry could've been expanded more. if you think about it, people in the 80s who watched it (presumably without reading the book) wouldn't understand why darry was so upset when pony came home late and why that whole altercation occurred. I think this is another reason why pony comes across as soo whiny in the movie bc their relationship wasn't really established in the beginning....we don't even see soda and darry until that night so when pony was like "darry hates me >:( soda is the only one who likes me" and two-bit got mad it would've been easier to understand both where pony was coming from as well as two-bit and johnny but idk

2. kinda adding on to that! the fact soda dropped out and started working to support the family should've been more direct. I'm glad that the complete novel re-release added more to darry and soda's characters, but again...think of watching this in the 80s

3. I know I sound like a broken record, but I really wish two, dally, and tim were seen more as Bad Boys/Mean Boys. pony always refers to that specific trio when talking about how he is different than other greasers and so on. I wish we could've seen them (specifically two and dally) acting more like little shits bc TO ME that would completely change the perspective on dally's death. one thing I did appreciate regarding dal's death tho was how pony was walking backwards down the hallway and was like "he's gonna blow" but just imagine that scene had it been directly said and shown that dal didn't seem to give a shit about anyone or anything. bc then it's like "oh i thought he was a bad guy, but he's literally a kid" IDKKKK

4. and okay so I've seen like clips of stuff that I think suggests that they filmed like an introduction to the gang members?? like that clip of johnny getting beat in his front yard and then dal leaving jail and throwing the ticket away or whatever he was doing. THAT WAS SO NECESSARY!!!! even if it's like completely biased to pony and he introduces them like "this is steve. he only cares about cars and girls. and he hates me!" while a clip of steve teasing pony plays for like 4 seconds.....Please 5. I have a million more things to say but let me add this: pony's conversation with cherry when he says "it's okay. we aren't in the same class. just don't forget that some of us watch the sunset too" why the fuck didn't he say that shit????? johnny being beat up by bob and randy could've been in his intro, but like just simple flashbacks showing bob's rings as he beats johnny.....did viewers in the 80s just think johnny killed him for shits and giggles? bc yes it was to defend pony but they also had History that was relevant af!!! make it more clear that johnny would have taken anything but he wasn't gonna take ANY of bob's shit HOWEVER, the movie nailed how closely knit everyone was and how they really thought of each other as brothers. I think the hatred towards the socs was also well done, but bob deserved more attention bc he was a crucial character. just show me how strong of a leader bob was, how he did awful things and could convince others to do it as well idkkkkk bc in the movie he came across as a dumbass to me....also fucking make the actors talk louder and turn down the music

people please tell me what you think. again, I know movies can't have everything but I wouldn't mind a 3 week long accurate depiction of fucking everything lol

Sodapop: switched his major like 3 times, ended up on sociology, wants to work in human services

Ponyboy: Literature 🧍🧍

Two-Bit: graphic design 💯💯🔥 he was NOT prepared for the work load of studio classes but enjoys the college life

Steve: Engineering, he was soo excited to get to work with the expensive technology the Uni funds and labs

Dally💀: zoology, argue with a wall

Johnny: computer science and game dev (bcs thats my majors𓆏)

Tim: studio art but he would never tell anyone, its canon in the show he learned how to draw in jail and i am grasping onto this concept, his favorite medium is charcoal

Curly: music, he focus's on punk, he plays electric guitar and before he had the money for that he would use free or cheap audio software

Angela: biomedical engineering, she's always had an interest in medicine and skincare. She also shows up to her STEM classes in the most amazing and cvnty outfits known to mankind, outta spite

EXTRA: johnny and PB would be designing an indie game, Pony writes, storyboard, designs characters, and johnny codes it 🙏

Then Pony BEGS curly to help with music for it cause boys do not wanna get copy written

And well ponys good at writing but cant draw, so tim gets pulled into this debacle and he's bitching and moaning the whole time but secretly enjoys working on it

Then two bit gets wrapped into this for over all design and marketing and ends up using the work into for like 3 class projects

And in then end its this mess of fucking NERDS who do not look like they belong together working on this

Rhett and Link are the ideal level of famous. Famous enough to be loved, admired and financially supported by fans but not famous enough to be recognised everywhere and fear for their safety, having to have bodyguards etc

Currently on the third chaper of The Lost Causes of Bleak Creek. So far, so good! It’s a page-turner and I can really read the RandL-ness in the writings 📖

What I think the boys would think of me:

Ponyboy: Okay but like I'm literally him as a girl. I get myself in the most stupid situations cus I don't use my head. I'm into what he's into: books, poetry, movies, music, art, etc. We'd both end up in dumb situations together. Maybe he'd be like my best friend lol. We'd give Darry a headache together.

Johnny: *sigh* I'd really like to say that he'd be head over heels in love with me and we would have an amazing romance and relationship...but you can't always say what you like. In all honesty, he might think im too much of a prude. He might see me as annoying lol. I am dramatic so he might just think im just a liiiiiittle bit crazy. But hopefully he'd give me a chance. His character seems to be understanding and considerate of others. As a gf I might not be his type. But for the sake of entertainment purposes -- and safeguarding my sanity -- I will say I'm his gf in my fictional universe lol. (All yall other Johnny simps, I'm open to sharing him >;) )

Dallas: would hate me lol. Mans would wanna throw me into the dumpster and never look at me again. He'd wonder why I'm even here but since I'm Johnny's gf (if he ever did want that with me *heart eyes*) then he'd put up with me. Prolly wouldn't think im good enough for him tho. He'd prolly think Johnny's wayyy outta my league.

Two-Bit: oh we're making dad jokes together. We'd have actual roast battles. We'd play pranks on each other. He'd by my buffoon bestie.

Steve: would think of me the same way he thinks of Pony. Will literally run me over with a car.

Sodapop: Would be happy Pony has another friend who gets him. Would think I'm a lil annoying tho.

Darry: AW HECK NAHH THIS MAN IS ACTUALLY GONNA BE THE ONE WHO THROWS ME AWAY IN THE DUMPSTER!! Like he'd scold me and Pony so much it's not even funny. He'd tattle on me to my dad. He'd make me do the house chores with Pony.
