Because for once he can act on his own morals and help someone #So when we see the Knight of Dawn next to Silver we aren't supposed to see a father and his son #We're supposed to see what Silver COULD have been had he not been raised by Lilia. Okay, I need a think tank here. This has absolutely nothing to do with anything and will likely never pop up in my writing, but I was thinking about it in the shower and now I can't leave it alone.

So that concept art of apocalypse resistance fighter Draxum.

I mean, yes, he looks way older in general. But the greyscale shows that his hair has definitely gone completely grey.

The 'future' scene we see in the movie takes place in 2044, only 24-26 years after the series if we consider Rise to have taken place over 2018-2020. And Draxum likely died before this, considering he's not seen in the final battle.

25-ish years is nothing to a Yokai. Draxum is confirmed to be a few hundred years old himself. So it's highly unlikely that he just happened to go grey during this time.

Possibly the stress, we see that Huginn and Muninn have obviously died (and demanded to be forever immortalized as his shoulder pads) and depending on when he died, he might have outlived Cassandra, Raph, and Donnie. So losing three of his kids, plus whatever Splinter was to him at the end. That'll age someone. And then there's whatever mystic nonsense that caused Mikey to age rapidly, potentially Draxum was overusing his powers to fight and keep the colony safe and ended up drawing on his own lifeforce.

But I thought of a funnier explanation.

Hair dye.

Do you guys think maybe Draxum is already going gray? And he's just too vain to admit it, so he dyes it back to red so nobody notices. But in the apocalypse he can't justify scavenging for hair dye or wasting their water supply on something so frivolous. Or whatever potion he used, he didn't have the ingredients/couldn't waste resources like that.

I dunno, what do you guys prefer? I kind of like imagining him carefully dyeing his roots before every Major Villain Thing so nobody realizes how old he actually is.

Okay, so I just finished reading Fourth Wing and Iron Flame and someone needs to explain something to me because either I'm stupid and missed it or there's a plot hole.

We know Violet lived at Basgiath for years because her mom was stationed there. Lived there long enough that she's able to confidently tell Xaden that she's lived there longer than he has, to have extensively worked with Markham who lives and works in the archives there, and to have had Nolon mending her for years in the Healer's Quadrant.

And I know only riders and cadets are permitted in the Riders Quadrant so obviously she wouldn't be going there. But we also know the riders go out into other parts of the college all the time?? The riders use the same healers and infirmary as everyone else in the college (the same infirmary Violet has been using for years while living there before entering the riders quadrant) and Violet spends a shit ton of time in both books in the Archives as a rider.

What I don't understand, is how Violet never crossed paths with any of the marked ones? Or Dain in his first year? You're telling me that after Dain bonded and was able to have his pick of the chores and he didn't choose the Archive rotation like Violet did in Fourth Wing just because he knew she was always in the Archives? Or something in the Healer's Quadrant just so his overprotective ass could always know when she was injured? Same with marked ones, none of them ever had chore duties outside of the rider's quadrant?

The only explanation I can come up with that is that they weren't permitted to have chores outside of the riders quadrant because of Violet but I don't know how her mom would've been able to swing that because it feels like she'd be overstepping some how.

It also doesn't explain how out of all the third and second year marked cadets, none of them happened to be injured the same time she was? Or when they were permitted to leave the college on weekends they never came across each other in that town I forget the name of that they're allowed to visit on weekends when they're second years. Or even if they weren't permitted to work in the Archives, they would've still been allowed to go there because Violet does many times in Iron Flame and it's not because she's special, rider's are allowed to check books out of the Archives same as their own library.

Anyway, I feel like I missed something and it's bothering the hell out of me.

#I also think it'd be hilarious if Xaden would have seen Violet around the college for the two years he was there and not know who she was #but she's attractive with interesting hair and he develops a crush on her #only to be furious when he learns who she is that day on the parapet #Garrick would've had a fucking field day teasing him about it because obviously he would know about Xaden's crush on the silver haired girl #xaden riorson #violet sorrengail #the empyrean #fourth wing #dain aetos

This portrait was commissioned in 136 AC by her mother, the Dowager Queen Alicent Hightower. This was at Helaena's coronation as Queen of the seven kingdoms, after her brother-husband, Aegon ll Targaryen, ascended to the Iron throne. In an act of usurpation of the claim of their older sister, later Queen Rhaenyra l Targaryen.

Queen Helaena was around ten and nine years of age. She is seen wearing the signature colour of her faction, and the house hightower, green.

This was shortly before the murder of her nephew, Prince Lucerys Velaryon, by her brother, Prince Aemond Targaryen. The event that is seen by historians as the true beginning of the dance of the dragons.

Major TWST Chapter 7 Spoilers!!

So we all know Queen Leah is Aurora’s mom AND Silver’s mom.

But y’all that literally means our sweet 17 year old Silver is Aurora’s long lost brother that never had to experience a sister. He got a brotherly experience with Malleus and Sebek. What I’m more worried is one day someone does a DNA test(possibly Aurora’s children or descendants) and his name pops up. Or someone recognizes Silver’s face because of how similar it is to Aurora’s or Leah’s(I mean come on, we can usually tell when people are related that closely just by looking at them) Like I Can imagine it now. Also fair warning, this gets pretty sad.

🌹: *Aurora is impossibly old, hair gray* Older brother, is that you? You look just like mom said you did? I see the years have caught up to you with your hair.

🗡️: Umm? I’m not that old-

🌹: Momma used to tell me stories all about you once I woke up from that curse. HOO boy those times were wild. I wish you got to meet my father, but what’s done is done. Probably should catch back up with the princesses some time later. Anyway, we should meet up sometime and catch up on the years.

On earth-616, The Outlaws are a short lived team of reformed Spider-man villains (Prowler, Puma, Silver Sable, Rocket Racer, and Will o’ the Wisp or Sandman) trying their best to clean up their acts and be heroes.

…But what does that make them on an earth with no Spider-Man?

#wooh this took so long I’m so glad it’s done #uh character fun facts for the road:#Wisp’s design is very heavily inspired by Sophie Li’s Spot concept art #(I didn’t get the rendering quite right)#Rocket Racer was the last design finished because his color palette was a nightmare to figure out #he ended up based on the dull blue/red Prowler concept art #for Kilometer Miles himself I ended up heavily referencing his offical action figure to get the details right #Puma gave me the same problem as Wisp where I didn’t want her to step on my other Puma design’s toes #but I still wanted to carry over some elements #I think going with a color palette based on Puma’s blue costume helped on that front quite a bit #while Rocket took the color palette #Silver Sable took the dull blue/red Prowler concept’s actual fit #(and some elements of other designs but mainly that)#but her hair is inspired by the spike-y Spider Punk concepts #speaking of in the same way Spectacular Spider-Man has her in Silvermane’s family #she gets her albinism from Tombstone #my art #will o the wisp #jackson arvad #(not their name in this universe but for clarity)#rocket racer #Robert Farrell #miles g morales #the prowler #puma #Thomas Fireheart #(again not her name)#silver sable #silver sablinova #(I’m thinking Silvia Salvatore to keep the alliteration but make it less… that.)
