It’s “funny” how defenders of Viv right now are trying to cover her ass for Mimzy and Rosie being Jewish stereotypes and that were “reaching too far”. Everyone forgets about her LITERALLY N-ZI sausage party OC. Her defenders and fans choose to ignore it or don’t know about it. If you don’t know about it, that makes sense but if you are aware of her sausage party oc, you really shouldn’t be turning a blind eye. So, no, no one is reaching too far…yall just don’t want to listen to any type of minority nor bother to educate yourself…SMH. I have exactly one bg3 story I want to write, but is there really anyone else out there who would actually want to read Astarion's spawn ending eventually causing him to turn against Tav and seek freedom over 'goodness'? I know a happy spawn ending is super popular in the fandom, and this would not be that.

To elaborate on the verse: Astarion at first believes his feelings were genuine in accepting love and Tav's insistence he's a good person at heart after Tav refused to help him Ascend. And perhaps those feelings were true once. Perhaps it was just a way for him to cope with the fear of his world for 200 years suddenly changing while he remained bound by his curse. Regardless, over time, he starts to feel stifled by this image of a kind man they've built up. He decides that doing what Tav/society says is the 'right' thing has become just another way he's rationalized having his autonomy and self stripped away to please his protector. After a few decades, the novelty of being treated with affection has faded, replaced with frustration that he's traded one set of rules for another, kinder, set where he's not allowed to find amusement in the suffering of others, or share his mean thoughts, or even try reclaiming his sexuality because Tav is too worried about him hurting himself after they go through a failed attempt. I think it would be an interesting way to explore his relationship with power, morality, fear, and doing anything to survive.

Also, I sort of want to use this as a chance to write Halsin as closer to a neutral druid. I think he would make a good foil for Astarion. He's old enough to understand the world is not as simple as basic druidic doctrine states thanks to his time with the Shadow Curse and in the Underdark, but he still values kindness, freedom, and balance. To a practical druid like him, a spawn who cannot spread their curse might in be considered just another predator. With that in mind, Halsin might even help 'rehab' Astarion like he would an injured cat - allowing him to roam with very loose guidance and a home to return to, while accepting that some cruelty is part of his charge's nature. From his own experience, he could deduce that until Astarion has the space to discover himself away from the expectations of a master, friend, or lover, he will always feel trapped. Halsin chose a life untethered and perhaps Astarion will, too.

I think I'm just fascinated by the idea that Astarion is too insecure to be anything but dependent on others (whether spawn or lord) and he hates it. Also that he's not really a good person, but he is a pragmatic one and can play the part well when in the company of others who value it. I want to poke at who he might be if given true freedom to explore his likes and dislikes, even if it ends badly sometimes while he's exploring or he discovers he's happiest in a place that straddles tenderness and sadism more than his 'heroic' companions.

I have lots of HC of the HIVE academy as a whole bc I think that having an institution that specializes in forming young teens into villains is interesting but the fact that it's still a school is funny as hell. Especially since it's implied that they were one of the "top organizations" acc to the wiki and they train them to be the best of the best, like training-wise and academically??

Like I could imagine that it was one of those schools where everyone finished basic HS lvl education at a very young age and were studying college-level stuff lmao like someone can be an actual doctor with a master's degree, learned 3 languages, and have a full understanding and control of their powers while the most of the titans didnt even finish HS 💀💀

I may not consider “Long Live the Pumpkin Queen” canon but I just realized something. So, we know Jack and Sally get married in the book. We also know that Sally is originally from Dreamworld. So, that means if they have children, that means the children have some part of “dreamworld” in them. I wonder if they gain any abilities/powers? Sure, Sally doesn’t have powers but maybe there’s a chance she does have them and just hasn’t figured it out. I mean, I think rulers and average citizens of the Holiday’s all have powers/abilities. Santa sent snow down on Halloween Town. To make all those toys, I’m sure the elves have heightened abilities at least. Jack is able to transform into his scarecrow version. If you want to take Oogie’s line in “This is Halloween” literally, Oogie is able to cause nightmares. So, I can see such things occurring. On another note, think of all the shenanigans their kids could get into with special abilities/powers.

Explaining the "i almost died" stuff...

So! I was returning to my town after visiting my mom for some days. My pops was driving, i was at the front seat, and my 13 year old brother was at the back seat. I think it was post halfway of the travel... suddenly some drunk bastard driving a truck came by out of control, my dad tried to dodge him, but the truck slightly "poked" the back of the car, making it lose control and drift like crazy on the road. My dad tried to stop it, but the car flipped and flew out of the road, falling on the fields, that had a ton of rocks. I was the only one who got somewhat wounded, since i protected my bro from the glass that exploded. I'm fine tho! Spent the night resting on the hospital after being patched up but right now i'm heading back home. No bones were compromised :) and my brother and dad had no scratch to be found.

DR people y’all saw those kids chanting whether they wanted an apartment or a crv on that march 😭🙏 This shit had me on my knees and snorting my nose.
