Hello Questies!!
This post has been a long time coming, and here it finally is. Willow, and more importantly, the Willow Fandom, changed my life, so, thank you all for everything!
Now Presenting…
How to Get a Girlfriend by Watching Willow 2022:
Step 1. See gif of Kit on top of Jade when she was saying goodbye like on Pinterest.
Step 2. Figure out the name of the show with the hot girls.
Step 3. Rewatch the original Willow.
Step 4. Watch Willow 2022
Step 5. Realize that the feelings about other women that you have been suppressing since you were 17 are coming back to bite you in the ass.
Step 6. Reject compulsory heterosexuality.
Step 7. Call your best friend in a panic.
Step 8. Try for weeks to try to get anyone you know to watch Willow. Fail.
Step 9. Sign back into an old tumblr account and start following people just as obsessed as you are.
Step 10. Read horny fanfic. A LOT of hot horny fanfic.
Step 11. Get your best friend so fed up with you that she invited you to an LGBTQIA+ friendly community event more than an hour away just so she doesn’t have to be the only person hearing about Willow anymore.
Step 12. Make lifelong friends!!
Step 13. After several months of trying to convince people to watch Willow literally steal the TV hookup and force people to watch it.
Step 14. Share the link to the Free Willow website in the Facebook group chat so everyone can watch more episodes.
Step 15. Get private Facebook message from girl wanting to talk about Willow.
Step 16. Make friends with said girl and get a huge crush.
Step 17. Start hanging out outside of group events.
Step 18. Be awkward.
Step 19. Continue to be awkward for several months until one half of the friend group pulls you aside, and one half pulls her aside and endure an intervention.
Step 20. Ask girl on date. (She says yes!!)
Step 21. Go on date and realize that despite the fact that there are over 12 years of university between the two of you, that you both read dozens of the same articles on Reddit and Quora about how to act on a first date, since neither of you have had one before.
Step 22. Get mutually pissed off at the lack of official peer reviewed research on how to have a healthy relationship. Decide to work on writing and publishing together. (So far, the only thing actually peer reviewed is our relationship, which only started due to peer review.)
Step 23. Make plans for more dates.
Step 24. Be happy!!!
Step 25. Realize that communication is hard and misunderstandings suck after reading more horny Willow fanfic.
Step 26. Write 5 page love letter in proper MLA Epistle format and give to girl.
Step 27. Become official girlfriends!
Step 28. Receive photos of her extensive collection of swords and blades.
Step 28b. Implode. (Like seriously. It was SO hot.)
Step 29. After being girlfriends for two months, bring up Willow again and find out that she doesn’t actually care that much about Willow?!?!?!!!! She likes it but was mostly using it as an excuse to talk to you?!?
Step 30. Consider breaking up with girl (not really!!) because she isn’t actually as obsessed with Willow as you are.
Step 31. Decide to share your gratitude with the ongoing Willow fandom for changing your life instead of worrying about making everyone in your life love it as much as you do. 😂

I was gonna add this to another post but I didn't want to ramble all over their post so--
Genuinely for the people who don't know or who haven't stopped to think about it, "most kudos" is a skewed metric and always will be. And that's okay. It's just the nature of things.
Like...
Let's say in episode 180 of a show something major happens that makes people absolutely feral over a ship. But that's just when most people get on board. A smaller group of people saw the potential for that ship back in episode 150 which aired over a year ago. They wrote some fics.
When episode 180 hits, let's say there are only 43 fics on ao3 for the ship, but thousands upon thousands of people are now looking for those 43 fics.
You better believe those 43 fics are getting read. They're going to rack up a massive amount of hits and kudos and comments, and it's going to be because they're there. Not to say that a lot of them won't be good or even great, just that quality will only matter so much when thousands of people are hungry and there are only 43 plates of food.
Similarly the fic authors who crank out fics in those early days... they're gonna see a lot of activity too. They may or may not end up close to the top of the list by most kudos depending on additional factors.
At any rate, they're probably going to see more activity than they're used to getting in other fandoms.
All that to say that most of the fics you find in "most kudos" will always be from that early wave. People are less picky when there's less to choose from. People are also less dispersed because they want to read very specific things early on (canon compliant or adjacent, fix-its, dead characters who come back as vampires, etc.) but they'll be more willing to branch out over time and everyone will be looking for a myriad of flavors as the months/years go by.
43 fics will grow into 14,043 fics and maybe even 52,043 fics, and the ones that are published later on will have fewer kudos for a lot of organic reasons.
Occasionally, fics will break through the time barrier. But even then the writers of those fics are often very established, really good at marketing, collaborating with a popular artist (or they've just been lucky enough to capture the eye and heart of one.) Basically even then it has very little to do with taste or quality.
And it gets rarer and rarer for fics to be able to reach that high the longer it's been since the ship exploded.
Meanwhile, those early fics that made it to the top are pretty much always going to be there. People who find the ship later will always sort by "most [x]" and they will add to the lead those fics already have.
Also! The authors who made it into the top 5-10 pages or so sorted by kudos? They most likely won't see those massive numbers on their newer works in that fandom/ship either. It's normal. It's how it goes.
All that say that it's okay to sort by most kudos/comments/whatever. We've all done it and we'll all do it again, and in some ways those early fics that heavily influence fanon are special in their own ways.
Just don't think the amount of kudos a work has/doesn't have directly correlates to quality. And especially don't think that not being able to break into those top pages says anything about you.
It's all just luck and time, babey.

Didn’t actually get tagged on this, but it looked like a fun one. 🤣
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
AO3 says I have 24. Huh.
2. What is your total AO3 word count?
288,626 since I started in 2021, which seemed like a lot to me until I realized 179,551 of those belong to the second thing I ever wrote, a massive 4 part series covering from Rio’s resurrection to their inevitable HEA.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Veronica Mars brought me to AO3. The Punisher (Kastle) made me think for the first time about writing prompts, but it was the Good Girls (Brio) fandom that finally got me to put the proverbial pen to paper.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Yes! I try to, at least. Sorry if I’ve missed any, sometimes I lose track of the notification emails.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Ooh, definitely Enemy of My Enemy. Hardest fic for me to finish. Not fluffy. No HEA. Rio is aaaaaangry.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Hmm… there’s a lot to choose from cause I looooove a soft, fluffy Brio. If you can slog through the 4 part series, it covers the most ground, ending years after the show. It’s loosely based on canon to start, but veers off.
8. Do you get hate on your fics?
Hmm… Not really. Luckily just one I can think of. A vague accusation that all my ideas were suspiciously like a lot of other ones on AO3… except those other writers did it way better. 🤷🏻♀️ I blocked them and figured if anything, it meant I’d finally “made it”. 😂
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I try to. I aim for the kind I think people will enjoy reading, but I often alternate between worrying it’s either a little too cheesy, or over the top.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I don’t, but I would never say never. There are some I would *love* for other people to write, though. Karen Page (Punisher) and Steve Rogers (Captain America)… Intrepid reporter interviews national hero after the Battle of New York. Neither are looking for anything, but sparks fly. Anyone? Anyone??? 🤣
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I don’t think so?
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but wouldn’t it be awesome if AO3 had a button that would do that automatically?
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Again, no. I won’t say it would never happen, but I’m a bit of a lone wolf writer. Strict deadlines, etc are tough for me, so I think I’d find a co-writing situation very stressful.
14. What’s your all time favourite ship?
It has to be Brio. 🥰
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
This is a tough one. I don’t tend to release fics until they’re finished, so I don’t have any orphaned stories out there crying out for a happy ending. I do have a dozen or so ideas that are in various stages of completion. Some are almost done(ish), so I suspect the ones that are less likely to get finished are the ones that are literally a sentence fragment… barely a complete idea. I mean, they’re great random scattered thoughts, but… Yeah.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I’ve been told my Brio characterizations are good.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Hmmm… Dialogue and smut. My descriptions aren’t bad, but my writing style isn’t as “flowy” as I’d sometimes like.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I’m not bilingual, so if I include another language in a fic I tend to keep it fairly short and straightforward to lessen the chance of getting it wrong.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Good Girls. First and only.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
I don’t mind rereading (most of) my own stuff. I have a special soft spot for ones where Brio interacts with the kids, like Smarter Than Your Average Gang Friend (Rio gets shown up by the Jane), and In Sickness (Jane’s sick and Rio shows Beth an uncharacteristic kindness).

Who are your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from Berserk? And why you loved them? And your top 5 favorite moments from the series? Thanks.....
I think I kinda only have 4 main faves, really? And that's probably a pretty obvious bunch (Guts, Casca, Griffith, and Puck). I got attached to them all in the first arcs and then stuck out the rest of the stuff mainly just for them without getting extremely attached to anybody else (though I do think the rest of the story is definitely worth reading, and there are many amazing things that come later on as well).
(Warning for spoilers below):
I love Guts because I just cared about him and what happens to him way more than I initially expected I would. I think he's very relatable to me personality-wise and just not your typical macho protagonist guy in some pretty interesting and unusual ways. I also like that he's both kind of simple and complicated all at once and not just a corny noble typical hero type guy, but not completely boring and edgy and nihilistic either. It's a fun blend. I felt a ton for Casca as well and just thought she was very sympathetic and tough yet vulnerable too. I think Griffith's idealism and ambition makes much of the intriguing drama and plot happen that I actually care about in the story, and that he's definitely a complex character that's maybe the most fun one to analyze in a fandom sense. And Puck is just that cute little voice of reason / comic relief sort of character who keeps you going when Guts is being particularly grim and surly and difficult to connect to and when the story is verging on way too dark and bleak, and since he's with you from the very start it's hard not to get attached!
Some Top Favourite Moments (I couldn't narrow it down to five):
-Guts's interactions with Theresia, the Count's daughter / that entire scene in the Black Swordsman Arc: Maybe a bit of an oddball choice, but I distinctly remember that this part of the story was surprising and interesting to me in a good way because it just showed some sides of Guts's character that I didn't expect, and made him seem a bit more unusual and interesting of a character to follow in my eyes. I felt like his weirdass/awkward dark advice to her to just kill herself if she really didn't want to live anymore was obviously because he himself had gone through something like that as a kid and then come to that conclusion based on his own survival instincts as well, and just spoke a lot about how strange and rough his own life and upbringing and worldview probably was, to see that as sincerely good advice to give to a kid at that time? It was different than what you'd expect a typical hero to say or do, and the fact that Puck comments on it like "dang, he's not even trying to be an asshole or mean, he legit thinks that's a good thing to say to her" made me laugh as well, because that was the impression I got from it too. It was also surprising to see him like tearing up afterwards? Idk it just marked a moment to me where my interest in the story and in Guts as a character deepened and changed a bit, so I like it for that!
- Guts and Griffith's first swordfight:
So good and iconic and also perhaps one of the most homoerotic things ever to be put on a page
-Guts holding his sword up to the moon and deciding he was gonna fight for Griffith's sake
- Guts and Casca's first kiss: I kinda get the feeling from most Griffguts fans that it's not super popular to have and share positive or warm feelings about this pair, but I thought the moments between them like their first kiss were actually so cute. I thought it made sense for them and their relationship at the time, and was nice to see them both having a soft and warm and consensual moment with someone else that they trusted that way
- Guts explaining how Griffith is the only person he can't stand looking down on him to the rest of Band of the Hawk:
Another moment where Guts pleasantly surprised me as a character, this time with how self-aware and forthcoming he was about his thoughts and feelings on this front. He's a pretty close-lipped character about such things and also pretty private and secretive most times, so whenever he does share those kinds of feelings I'm just like !!! and very invested in what he has to say. I also didn't expect the story to take this direction so explicitly, and thought that his prioritizing of his relationship with Griffith over everything else would remain background and buried in his subconscious at best, so I was pretty intrigued that this part actually happened at all
- Guts and Griffith's second sword fight in the snow:
So many interesting things going on between the main three characters here, and I feel like this was one of the most suspenseful parts of the story to me, I was having actual like heart racing physical reactions to it. I also love how it teases the audience a bit with certain clever fake-outs and whatnot, like making you think this is probably going to be how Guts will lose his arm...
-Griffith's visions of his childhood self / guilt about his dream:
Anytime we got a glimpse right inside Griffith's head was a fascinating treat for me, and I think the scene of him being guilted by the God Hand over his childhood dream was a fantastic bit of writing and artwork, and so important to the story as a whole.
-The Eclipse (up until that one scene):
You love to hate it and hate to love it, basically? It's an awful and traumatic time, but also just so effective at doing what it's supposed to do and such a great buildup of dread for this extremely climactic scene, and the horror of it all is super well done to me (though once it gets to the Casca and Femto part it lost me a bit, because I did not like how tastelessly that was depicted at all)
-Griffith's frozen heart starting to beat again:
There's no way that's just because he's fused with the Moonlight Boy or whatever, right? Love the idea that there's still a kernel of his old vulnerable self in there that he couldn't completely kill
-Casca's healing: this was such a LONG TIME COMING and I was so glad it actually happened and that Miura got to depicting that part of the story before he passed, I felt like it actually took 1000 years, and it was one of the major things keeping me reading due to wanting to see it resolved

TOP FICTION MEN
I thought to myself, I’ve never shared with you guys my top men in fiction. Like you know the ones I write about but I thought this would be a great way to interact with you guys and you can share with me who else you guys like and other fandoms you like.
In order (you may be surprised about this) my top men in fiction:
1. Hvitserk - Vikings (2013 - 2020)
You guys are probably surprised to not find Aegon on top here or someone I write about but yes. I have watched Vikings since I was a teenager and when all of Ragnar’s sons came on the show after the time jump I was like 😏 can’t lie. Hvitserk has my heart and if there was a man like him in real life, he would be my soul mate I believe.
2. Aegon Targaryen - House of Dragon (2022 - present)
My man, my man, my man. Yeah he’s definitely fighting for my number 1 spot I can’t lie and you know I don’t even need to explain myself on this one.
3. Rafe Cameron - Outer Banks (2020 - present)
Of course, he had to be up here. I like them unhinged clearly, as you’ll see by the list, they’re all very unhinged characters. No explanation needed for that one, you can see the fics I have written
4. Geto Suguru - Jujutsu kaisen (manga/also anime)
He is definitely my main JJK character fave. I’m not going to add all of the others to the list and where I place them because they’re so many. I literally love them all. But I’m defo more obsessed with the ones that are once again unhinged, Naoya Zenin, Toji Fushiguro and Sukana. Clearly if you follow my reblog page @squirmreblogs you will see the endless fics I reblog about them.
5. Dick Grayson - DC Comics
My love for Dick started through tumblr then kind of grew from the netflix series. I'm obsessed with him honestly however this really comes and goes.
6. Aemond Targaryen - House of Dragon (2022 - present)
You guys are probably like why is he so far down. I love him, I do but I just obsess over Aegon way more. I feel like this will fire up again when house of dragon season 2 starts again. Trust me on this.
7. Ubbe - Vikings (2013 - 2020)
I’m honestly not going to lie to you guys, I’m still not sure why I prefer Hvitserk over his brothers but I do. But my gentle caring Ubbe is still up there and I just think in my head, he's mean in bed. But gives you the best after care.
8. Billy Russo - The Punisher (2017 - 2019)
I never really even got into the series and I only watched a few episodes way after it ended. But I started reading fics about him and this is where my love for dark fics started.
9. Jason Todd - DC Comics
This for me has only come through tumblr. In the series on netflix he is super young and the actor is young as well. I way prefer just in the comics when he's like red hood.
10. Ivar - Vikings (2013 - 2020)
My last one on my list. I loved him in the series but I could never get over him killing his wife Freydis and his son. But I loved his relationship with Igor and he redeemed himself there. Genuinely for me one of the biggest heartbreaks when Ivar has to leave him.

Fizzie’s Top 10: Hazbin Hotel Scenes & Why
These scenes are in no particular order since I’m mostly going by memory for this post. Enjoy😋
The Husk in chains scene (episode 5: Dad Beat Dad)
Ok, so this scene is one of my favorites because we get to see the full extent of the fear Alastor puts in Husk, which honestly really humanizes him, which I think is really important for us to see as an audience because outside of when we see him with Angel, there isn’t quite much to his character that reminds us of just how human he is. This is also one of the first times we see how much control the great radio demon may have over the souls he owns (since we only get to see that Husk and Niffty).... And I am a sucker for seeing my favorite characters in similar positions (or much worse ones) than the one Husk was put in, and the switch flip from “I ain’t your fucking pet” to the utter fear in his eyes when Alastor turns the his anger on him, is amazing and lives rent free in my head.
Vaggie’s backstory (episode 6: Welcome to Heaven)
Don’t come for me, but…. I’m actually part of the minority of the fandom that hadn’t realized that Vaggie was an Angel. I know, I know, looking back, it was kinda obvious, but I completely missed that so this was a big plot twist for me. This scene actually also solidified my enjoyment of Vaggie’s character too since I think this scene made her feel less like a somewhat one dimensional character since her scene from this point on seemed to have more depth without Charlie being the one to add that depth by being her girlfriend.
Angel telling Valentino off (episode 6: Welcome to Heaven)
This scene had me fucking screaming!! First of all, on this page, we absolutely stan anyone who stands up to their abusers the way Angel did! We learn so much about Angel from the original Addict music video, and the Poison music video and it’s surrounding scenes, and even in Loser Baby, but I think we learn the most about Angel as a character and his deal with Valentino, and what his redemption arc may hold… All with a simple “fuck you” to the man who’s hurting him the most in this lifetime so far. I also love that this entire scene was brough on soley by the fact that he was protective of Niffty and his other friends.
“Nice try, fuckhead.” scene (episode 4: Masquerade)
Seeing Husk fight in this scene was literally the highlight of my first watch of the episode. I love everything about this scene because I love seeing how protective Husk was of the other demon because, while Loser Baby was amazing, this was his true first show of genuine care (which led to the amazing song and dance). I really hope we get to see more of this dynamic in season two because I personally love protective Husk! And I would love to see his reaction to the tables being turned, and Angel protecting him. I don’t know, its just absolutely adorable in my head.
Niffty and Valentino scene (episode 6: Welcome to Heaven)
This just made me laugh because this shows how untouchable and uppity he is…. Despite having to pay for Prime Video to watch the show, seeing Niffty just kinda put a little bit of fear in that heartless bastard was priceless.
Niffty’s stabby scene (episode 8: The Show Must Go On)
When Charlie gave Niffty a blessed blade and told her to just stab any angel she saw, and she ended up stabbing Adam… The way I screamed when he went down! And then everyone’s reactions to the stabbing, and the way Niffty just kinda stares at them for a moment before just stabbing him repeatedly. There is just no way that this scene could not have made it on my top 10 list today.
Vaggie letting Lute live (episode 8: The Show Must Go On)
I think that this scene shows a lot of the progress that Vaggie has made, and I think it shows a lot of the good in her that isn’t linked to Charlie. I knew that she did have some good in her after we see her backstory, but it seems like most of her good from that point on seems to revolve around her proximity to the princess of hell and we were missing out on who she was on her own, but Vaggie letting Lute live during their fight showed us a side of her that had nothing to do with Charlie and then her line after that, that “Live knowing that you only do because I let you.”.... Chills. Absolute chills and I loved this scene for her!
Alastor telling Mimzy to leave the hotel (episode 5: Dad Beat Dad)
Ok, so first, I have to say that I love the difference in the way Alastor is with men vs the way he is with women… With that being said, I actually like the fact that he told Mimzy to leave the hotel, especially because he still kept his composure with her the way he seems to with most women. I think this showed a bit of Alastor’s true feelings toward the hotel and the demons residing in it, though I don’t think the man would openly admit it, I enjoyed the way it showed in this scene.
Our first look into Valentino’s hold over Angel in the studio (episode 4: Masquerade)
We all knew that Valentino was the pimp that owned Angel’s soul, but I think seeing it really solidified how bad it was, and I like the range of emotions we see Angel go through in this scene and development it set up for Angel was absolutely beautiful.
“Yay pain!” scene (episode 3: Scrambled Eggs)
Honestly this one was just funny as hell and I really enjoyed this little scene and I think this is one of the scene perfectly sums up Niffty's character.
Honorable Mentions:
Charlie’s reaction to how Valentino was treating Angel (episode 4: Masquerade)
Honestly just seeing this side of Charlie is always interesting and I love to see it come out when her friends or her people in general are being threatened in some way. Her demon form flashing in anger like that is honestly one of my favorite things cause I am a sucker for my favorite characters being hurt, but a close second to that trope is when sunshine characters break down or snap in some way.
Niffty’s “If you see an angel stab it” scene (episode 8: The Show Must Go On)
The fact that Angel had to jump up on that pole the way he did because Charlie put a deadly weapon in the little psycho's hands and didn’t specify what kind of angel Niffty was allowed to stab was hilarious to me. And then Angel’s stripper dismount from the pole made it even funnier to me.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I don't always respond to comments and I usually leave that to my co-writer (and partner in crime) Tibby since we both collaborate on most of the fics I post and they're more comfortable with responding to comments. But if it's a solo fic, then I work through my anxiety and respond to anyone who's kind enough to leave a comment because I genuinely love getting feedback and seeing people enjoy my work really inspires me to keep writing!
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Uhhh... That's gotta be my newer oneshot, Free Fall. It's a SoapGhost fic and a rewrite of the ending of MW3 (Yeah, you know the scene).
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I've got a few (cause I'm a sucker for a happy ending) but the one I'm gonna go with has to be The Goal Isn't To Live Forever (It's To Create Something That Will). It's a part of the list above and it's currently one of my only completed, multi-chaptered fics.
8. Do you get hate on any fics (Art)?
Unfortunately, yeah. But mostly on my smut pieces (especially the ones that include a trans character).
Though I also remember recently getting a particularly rude comment accusing me of using chat ai to write my Geraskier fic, even though it was first published it way back in 2020, before chat ai was even a thing that people used.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yup. I usually stick to my comfort zone and write M/M stuff.
Though, in my longer fics, the smut isn't really the main focal point so I keep it pretty tame.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Oh boy. My co-author has actually got me hooked on a crazy rare pair to the point where we wrote a whole fic for it (and are working on the second in the series). It's a Daryl Dixon/Dean Winchester pairing set in the TWD universe.
A close second would be my Among Us x KiriBaku AU.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Nope, thank god.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yup! Someone reached out to me and asked to translate my FNaF: SB fic into Russian.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Sure have, but only with one other person.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
Omg, no! I have to pick!?
Well, if forced with a gun to my head, I supposed I'd have to say Rinch (John Reese x Harold Finch from the TV series Person of Interest). I love the show and the characters and the story and the world building. It's just a pairing that I will always keep coming back to no matter how many other ships/fandoms I fall into.
15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
My KiriBaku x Among Us crossover fic. The main page, where I had planned out the entire fic, was accidentally deleted and I don't know if I'll ever recover from that since I'd have to rehash the entire rest of the story from scratch if I decided to one day come back to it.
However, that being said, I'm still holding out hope that I'll randomly get a burst of motivation for the story. Who knows.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I'd say my strengths are writing angst, witty banter, and transition paragraphs (since my co-author often gets stuck going on tangents and writing really detailed scenes so they often ask for me to make a segue in order to get us to the next plot point, which works out for everyone).
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
My weakness is definitely in-depth, detailed scenes, hands down. It's kinda embarrassing, but my writing can sometimes lack the descriptive, engaging language necessary to make the story/situation/characters interesting (especially when it's decidedly not a writing day) and it often reads like boring exposition.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I am not fluent in anything other than English, but that doesn't exactly stop me from (relying heavily on google) and using other languages in my fics, especially if the character that I'm writing for prefers another language. Take Miguel O'Hara for example, who is canonically bilingual.
The same kind of goes for accents too. I try my best to emulate how it the words would sound while speaking it while writing dialogue. Take for example my SoapGhost fics, where both characters have a thick, distinct accent.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Unofficially (as in never posted): Vampire Diaries.
First fandom I posted to Wattpad (yikes) when I was like twelve: BBC Sherlock
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Jeez, another difficult question. Um... I'm gonna go with What Is Meant To Be (Always Finds A Way), for several reasons.
It was the very first fic that I posted to my ao3 account.
It was the first multi-chaptered fic that I'd ever completed.
I managed to finish and post the final chapter on the day of my birthday (which was a pleasant surprise).
I love it so much that my co-writer and I are actually currently in the midst of lovingly revisiting/revising the entire fic to make it even better!

My no.1 most hated ASOIAF character is Tywin Lannister. I hate this man. I hate him very much. I wish he would go away and die somewhere where he will inconvenience no one but the vultures. I loathe his manner. I loathe his style. I loathe the fact that he dares draw breath in a world where my loved ones do not or rather cannot because he murdered them. I loathe that he was rewarded for behavior which, in-universe, he should have been quartered for. I want him dead. I want to kill him and destroy him. I want him died. #SCENE #ANGER #FUCK #DIE #HATERED
There is not a single ounce — not even a miniscule amount — of sympathy I have for this scumbag. Not a single thing likeable about him. Not a single redeeming quality he has to his name. From the first moment he showed up on page until the very last mention of him, he was nothing short of disgusting. He is diabolical, satanic, monstrous, loathsome, ghoulish, sadistic, cruel, insert every single synonym of the term demonic here, etc. etc. I hate him. I hate him I hate him I hate him I hate him.
The whole “Yeah he’s evil uwu but Charles Dance is so granddaddy I can fix him <3" sales pitch this low IQ fandom has been pushing since the dawn of that accursed adaptation on top of it all only makes the intense disgust I hold for him so much fucking worse. Tywin Lannister has no conscience, no charisma, no morals, and he has no honor — all of that in an un-sexy way, one of the greatest crimes a villain with no traumatic backstory could objectively ever commit. Never mind the beyond immoral execution of the Red Wedding (“Machiavellian” my ass. Any stupid fool who says this crap needs to go back to elementary school in order to relearn how to read and how to interpret literature and themes in literature right the fuck now), never mind the severe mental torture he’s put his own flesh and blood through to the point where two of them are in a destructive incestuous relationship with each other and the other pushed to the point of patricide, this monster had his son's fourteen-year-old little child-wife gangraped by his guards, had each of them give her a silver coin after one was done with her, then had thirteen-year-old Tyrion rape her last and, contrary to the others, give her a gold coin because “Lannisters are worth more”. All because she was a common-born little girl who dared to marry the disabled son he hated so much. Am I supposed to think this piece of shit falls under the sexy evil category of villains? What sad backstory does this trash have to his name that would woobify him enough to “if villain bad why sexy” him? His father had a few mistresses after his mother died and gave them gifts and cared for them? Was that the tragic past of his that elevated him enough for people to wash their conscience clean so to cross moral boundaries all to lust after this so-called “sexy villain”? Tywin Lannister had his father’s mistress, who was nothing but a poor common-born daughter of a candle-maker, stripped naked and paraded through the streets of Lannisport for two whole goddamn weeks, and forced her to tell every man she came across that she was a thief and a whore, quite alike to what he did to Tysha as well. This man hates women. I cannot stress this enough, like Tywin Lannister hates women. And not just women, but especially commoner women. His modus operandi is inflicting sadistic sexual violence on any and all women he doesn’t like (which is like, all of them). As a true “if villain bad then why sexy” connoisseur and quite frankly, the president of the club, this man is not, never was and never will be a part of that esteemed category of villains.
And you know something that’s a veeery personal ick of mine — and this is really the icing on the cake for me — is shit-for-brains dickriders of this ghoul having the gall to pretend like he did not explicitly order the murder of Elia and her babies, that he apparently just “let” Clegane and Lorch loose on them. These low IQ fucks know what that demon did to his father’s poor mistress and what he did to little Tysha, and then somehow they still think this sadist with a severely fragile ego did not tell Clegane and Lorch to do what they did to her with his own mouth? Any waste-of-space who parrots this BNF-drivel (all said in order to minimize what happened to Elia, Rhaenys and the baby in place for Aegon) is not only going on my blocklist like immediately, they also need to die. Respectfully.
Now, I mostly spoke on his character from a moral standpoint, but I want to make clear that this loser’s shortcomings aren’t only morality-based. All the shit-for-brains stans this demon has know he has no morals so they always deflect to the “b-b-but he’s a military genius, that’s why I like him, I’m so edgy!!!” excuse and I want to emphasize how fucking stupid you have to be to believe Tywin is anything but brainless. AFFC is literally right there. GRRM’s explicitly spells out to the reader through Jaime’s POV how fucking stupid Tywin was in everything that he did. How the only show of military genius this demon had was through being nothing but a bully. All his work unraveled the second he died. He built nothing, and he will go down in history as nothing. That’s why his one and only legacy will always be that he got murdered on the shitter by his own son, like the fucking loser that he is.
I hate this fucking character with every fiber of my being.
On number 2 stands Aerys II Targeryen. Do I even need to explain this? What I said about Tywin applies to this racist, rapist, fascist piece of shit as well. I’m not going to waste my time and money psychoanalyzing this bottom-of-the-barrel trash. Aerys is the pinnacular culmination of three hundred years of Targaryen delusion, self-worship, egotism and five thousand years of Valyrian hubris, god-complex, and megalomania. Him and his daughter both, but I’ll get to her in a minute. This man’s lucky he’s only got 2 stans — and those two are only stanning just to be contrarians — unlike Tywin, who’s got an actual dedicated fanbase. Ugh. Two peas in a pod. One edge he has over Tywin is that at the very least Aerys has some sort of tragic backstory that’s actually valid. Too bad for him idgaf. Pour one out for Rhaella :(
My third most hated is ... Daenerys. Man… How do I even open this can of worms… I’ve a whole tag dedicated to hating her, soooo awkwardly waves hand in that direction. Everything about Daenerys is just so … racist. Racist on an in-universe level, racist on a meta level and racist on a fandom level, so I was never going to like Daenerys no matter what. The fact that she has the most insane and delusional and downright disgusting fanbase ever in all of media history really doesn’t help her case. If they hadn’t been this rabid and racist, then I don’t think I would have hated her this much. Because then I could’ve just had her character be as she is: the Paul Astreides of the series. A false Messiah, basically. The meta-level racism (GRRM making every single antagonist in her plotline nothing but walking, talking Reel Bad Arabs tropes; the use of POV trap which leads to none of the brown and black supporting characters in her story having a voice; GRRM’s own racism as in exotic-erotic tropes for all of the Essosi people, really badly researched POC cultures he based the Essosi off of, using brown and black people as nothing but props for the main white girl) and Daenerys’ in-universe racism (conquering and colonizing lands and peoples; white saviorism; imperialism; her hypocritical use of slavery) would still be there, of course, and I still would not have been able to stomach it meaning I still would not have rooted for her in any way, but then at the very least I would not have been subjected to a long decade of fandom racism being justified through the excuse of her freeing slaves from evil Reel Bad Arabs (spoiler alert: she is not freeing anybody).
Ugh, I don’t wanna talk about her. Everything about her from her character to the plot and storyline and her place in the narrative is downright insulting to me as a WOC, and quite frankly, any WOC that lays down their lives to defend this girl baffles me. Like, stop it. Please have some self-respect.
Then comes Jaehaerys the Old King. Father and inventor of misogyny. It’s crazy.
No. 5 is Rhaenys I and Daeron I the Young Dragon. EVERY TONGUE THAT RISES AGAINST THE DORNISH SHALL FALL!!!

5. Do you respond to comments?
As much as possible. Usually I respond to every comment, even if it's just to say a quick Thank You. The only fic on which I haven't done that is Woe of Wrath, if fell into limbo and I have a hard time focusing on it right now. And I feel kind of weird to answer comments after several months of silence, but the more I wait the weirder it gets...
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Doomed is a Dead Dove Do Not Eat fic. The entire text is dark, including the ending.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I will go with Double-Date With Dad.
Farewell Xavier Thorpe ends on a really good note too (if you are not a fan of Xavier).
8. Do you get hate on fics?
It never happened. Fingers crossed.
9. Do you write smut? What kind?
I try. I find it difficult for two reasons. First, it's tough to avoid clichés. When you read smut, you end up noticing some general patterns, and I do my best to stay away from those. Second, I'm not a fan of some popular kinks, for instance I can't stand the expression "good girl", and therefore I'm not interested in writing it, even if I keep reading authors that use them. Some people probably think my smut fics are boring, too soft, too ordinary. But I don't care (yeah, I do, but shh).
10. Do you write cross-overs?
No. And I have a really hard time reading cross-overs too. And I hate cross-overs in tv shows. Complete respect to authors, however. It's just not my thing.
11. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No. I guess I could translate my own fics in French since it's my native language, but for now I don't see any reason to do so.
12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, I did. It was a weird kind of toxic partnership. The other person was responsible for writing the general plot (because my ideas weren't good enough), and I had to turn every page he wrote into a three-pages long section, adding descriptions and filling the blanks. And correct the spelling and grammar, and add better vocabulary...
13. What WIP would you like to finish but doubt you ever will?
I hope I will finish every WIP I currently have, even if they tend to pile up (WIP bunnies...). My biggest challenge is to go back to Woe of Wrath. It is my first fic, it is a multi-chapter one, and I started to write it just to let the steam out after a twenty-years-long writing hiatus, so the outline was not super clear, there are many plot holes I try to fix, the sentences and vocabulary are bad... I know where I want to take the story and how it ends, but it's hard not to want to start over.
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
For fanfics I'll say Weyler because it's the only thing I've ever written. Now besides that... For those who read Guy Gavriel Kay, I'm forever bound to the Diarmuid/Sharra ship, followed by Paul/Jaelle. Quite fond of the Clary/Jace ship in The Mortal Instruments (The books! Don't talk to me about the movie or the tv show!)
15. What are your writing strengths?
No damn idea. I've been asking myself the same question since I was thirteen.
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
Probably not being able to answer question 15. Imposter syndrome.
17. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
In French it's not a problem, of course. I've done it in Impulsion. I have studied Latin for two years in highschool so I felt comfortable enough to translate a few sentences in Woe of Wrath. For other languages, I would only do so if I can find a beta reader fluent in this specific language to correct the grammar. I cringe everytime I read English fics with badly written French dialogs, it makes me loose the focus on the story (Same for tv shows, by the way. Come on, you have 2 millions $ to produce an episode and you can't find someone to double-check your French sentence?). It's really hard for me not to comment with a correction (AO3 etiquette: do not provide corrections unless the author specifically asked for it). I don't want to inflict that on my readers by butchering their native language.
18. First fandom you wrote for?
Star Wars. It was a long time ago (in a galaxy far far away), when there were only three movies and a few books (Timothy Zahn forever!). And for those who wonder how old I am, I used to write with WordPerfect, DOS version (it was the pre-Windows era). It had a blue background (terrible for the eyes) and some keycodes you had to use to change the font to bold or italics. Since you can't visualize anything in DOS (it's not a wysiwyg), it used colors, so you had to remember what it meant (yellow letters meant italics...). And I used to save those texts on a floppy my mom took to her office to print.
19. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
It's not a popular one, but I really like Monologue for a Hyde. I like the tone. Pretty happy with Fuck Me Once Shame on You, Fuck Me Twice Shame on Me, too.
20. What fic would you want to rewrite one day?
Woe of Wrath without a doubt. With a proper plan, and a lot of plot holes avoided (that damn cellphone...)

My favourite things about this story is seeing Obi-Wan be an excellent mentor to Anakin, the Sith plot unravel, and that the romantic relationship happens slowly, which to me makes it plausible

Sets up an alternative universe where Padmé joins Anakin when he turns on the Order and the Republic, Palpatine dies soon after, and Padmé becomes Empress Amidala. Follows Luke's journy in finding his family and finding himself.
What I like best about this story is that it's sprawling. The world feels huge and lived in. Naboo culture is explored beautifully. The relationships in the Skywalker family is another strong point. It's messy and real, but the love is always apperant.

What if while searching for answers post the fall of the Empire, Luke fell into a parallel dimension where he and his sisters were raised by their Father? What if all the major characters from the films and animated shows were given room to shine? That's what this story does.
I love how big this story is and how at the same times, there is room for intimacy in how the relationships are shown. For example, the way Vader and Padmé's relationship is shown awed me time and again.

To say why I like this is a bit tricker than the others. There are so many different things to be had here. All of it captures the essence of the relationship it is about, however, and to do it in so many packages is amazing.

Difficult. I've read a lot of good fic. One series that stands out to me is
Star Wars: Aberration by SiegeGunn
The main character is Cal Kesits, and it explores how things could go of it was converted to the dark side and became an Inquisitor.
By being a series, it explores widely varying povs and characters, though the larger stories in the series focus on Cal. Really cool.

While watching the Ahsoka Series, and before it too, I had theories. And right before the way they decided to take the story was revealed, I wrote this in a frenzy. 48. Oldest fic you read this year
Every so often I visit my old fandoms. This is from such a time. Updated Okt 2012 we have a Mass Effect fic THE STEPS AND THE SHORE by spicyshimmy
But holy wow did I almost only read fics from 2023 and 2022. Seeing 201x was frighteningly rare. I think it's because I've read so much Star Wars fic over three years. Only new things are new to me.

it's hard to believe that it's been an entire year since i posted my very first fic on this account. it feels like so much longer and at the same time like no time has passed at all. despite all the ups and downs that i've had on here, with my writing and otherwise, i am so so grateful for this community and all the friends i've made on here.
i'm big on celebrating, so i thought i could do a little sleepover in honor of my one year anniversary! since tomorrow (july 14th) is my official post date, i won't be answering asks until then, but feel free to start sending them as soon as you want! i'll keep answering asks all weekend, until sunday july 17th. i will be out of town all weekend, so these will likely be answered later in the evening in bulk rather than through out the day, but i will get to all of them!!
thank you so much to everyone who has ever supported me on here, your encouragement and comments are the reason i'm still around. thank you @pellucid-constellations for being my best friend in the whole world. if tumblr brought me anything, i'm so glad it was you. and another special thanks to @itistimeforusalltodecidewhoweare, not only for helping me so much with this sleepover, but being my constant hype woman and spring board for ideas, even when i don't think i deserve it. i could type out paragraphs for every single one of you but i really think i would cry, so i'll leave it at those two

It's been a while since I've posted anything but when I do find the motivation to write it's usually Julie and the Phantoms, Outer Banks, or The Summer I Turned Pretty!

I really try to respond to every comment, even if it takes me a while to respond! I genuinely appreciate people who take the time to not only read my writing but also share with me their thoughts, so the least I can do is respond back 😊
What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Oof in general I usually stick to happy endings so there hasn't been a ton of angsty endings! But I once wrote a fic exploring a character navigating the aftermath of the sudden death of his wife. It ends with him bonding with a woman in a bar who had also lost her husband, and they dance together and while it's nice to have some sort of companionship again, there's an unspoken agreement that nothing and no one would ever compare to their late spouses. (Based off the song Ghost of You by 5SOS, specifically the last line!)
I don't usually write major character deaths, and I actually ended up taking that one down because it was too sad for me haha.
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
The rest of my fics pretty much all have HEAs because at my core that's what I enjoy most haha. But my favorite and probably fluffiest ending is Fire Red and Ocean Blue.
Do you get hate on fics?
I don't remember ever getting any hate! *knock on wood*
Do you write smut? What kind?
I do not, but I always enjoy reading a good smut fic!
Do you write crossovers?
No, but I love AUs or fics based off of other books/shows/movies!
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Also no haha.
Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
I've attempted to, a loooong time ago when I was first getting into fanfic. Nothing ever came of it though, we were both, like, 12 so it fizzled haha. I have no idea where that person is today but I hope they're doing well!!
What WIP would you like to finish, but doubt you ever will?
Back when s1 of Outer Banks came out I started working on a Jiara one night stand fic and got about halfway done. I still think about it often, but too much has happened in s2 and 3 it just wouldn't make sense anymore and I'd basically have to start from scratch.
What's your all-time favorite ship?
This is a tough one! My oldest and most beloved ships will always be Romione and Percabeth. But no ship has ever, and may never again, have me in a chokehold quite like Juke did during the height of my JatP hyperfixation. So one of those three! 😂
What are your writing strengths?
Ooo I love a good theme or motif or analogy and bringing everything back around full circle. It makes my little perfectionist virgo brain very happy haha.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Sometimes I'll rush through the little details just to get to the main plot points. I constantly have to remind myself to slow down, a sort of "stop and smell the roses" if you will, and set the scene or create unique little character details to make my fics more descriptive.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in a another language for a fic?
If it's needed it's needed! I usually will copy/paste and look up the translation if I need to.
First fandom you wrote for?
Glee haha. I used to be OBSESSED.
Favorite fic you've ever written?
I feel like this answer changes depending on my mood haha. Right now I think it'd have to be Been Counting My Blessings Thinking This Through, but that could totally be recency bias haha. I am very proud of it though!
What fic would you want to rewrite someday?
I wrote this PJO (Tratie) fic called Rivers about 10 years ago and to this day the idea behind it is probably one of my favorite ideas I've ever had for a fic. When I reread it now, I can't help but see the writing of a 15 year old girl who had no idea what she was talking about and was unable to execute it in the way I wanted to in my mind haha. I always tell myself I'm going to rewrite it, and maybe with the show coming out soon, it'll inspire me to!

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I do! I respond to most of them now, because I like talking with my readers! I didn't do that at first... I was nervous that I might appear too desperate or something if I responded to everyone, but now I don't care 🤣 I love my readers and want them to know I see them.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
For now, I think that title belongs to Darkness in All Things. I wouldn't call it an angsty ending necessarily, but it's a bit more somber than most of my endings.
I think one of my one-shot WIPs may take this title (though I don't expect to finish it until early next year).
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I think all of my fics count as happy endings! The happiest might be Even Though You're Kryptonian, since our beloved idiots are preparing for their nuptials.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I've gotten a few from a known troll, but generally no. This fandom has been very kind 💗
9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?
I wrote smut once, for Darkness in All Things. There's another fic I'm writing smut for, although it's not supercorp.
In general, writing smut terrifies me. I only did it in DIAT because the characters held that chapter hostage until I did, and now the characters for this other fic are as well. I am being bullied 😭
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Okay... so... technically I have.
When I was young (10-ish?), I read some Sailor Moon fanfiction. I stumbled across this Sailor Moon & Xena crossover, and was frustrated that it had one chapter left and hadn't seen an update in a long time (I don't remember what a "long time" would've been to me back then).
I reached out to the author and asked about it, and the author gave me the chance to finish it based on their outline. So... I did, and they posted it!
I don't know how "well" it did. I think this was on ff.net in the very early days, so there were no kudos, and I don't think I ever got a comment about it.
I'd love to find that again, but haven't been able to. I remember nothing about it other than Rei was extremely snarky. I stopped reading Sailor Moon fanfic soon after, and generally didn't read fanfiction again until my 2021 obsession with Rizzles began.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of.

13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Technically yes, see #10.
I don't think I'll do it again. I'm far too chaotic in my writing approach, and far too possessive of my stories, to effectively cowrite with someone 🤣
14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?
Xena/Gabrielle!! They were my first ship. I never read fic of them (other than the Sailor Moon crossover I mentioned above, since I did read a lot of Sailor Moon fic). For me, their story was perfect, and the show gave us everything I could ever want.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I don't think I have any of these at the moment. And I'd never say never anyway, you never know what a brain will latch onto.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I think I have some good plot ideas and decent characterization. But ultimately this question is up to the readers, not me.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I think my greatest weakness is not letting a scene evolve - I'm impatient by nature. I think this is something I'm slowly getting better at, in that my first fics are far less developed compared to my most recent fics.
But there's always a gap from the scene that's in my head vs. what ultimately makes it to the page. Sometimes I don't know if I've written enough for the readers to know what the characters are feeling and doing.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Oh I'd get lots of help here.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Technically Xena and Sailor Moon in a crossover 🤣 That was a single chapter for someone else's story with someone else's outline over two decades ago. So I think saying Supercorp is still accurate.
20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
Oh gosh, it's hard to choose. I think I have a recency bias thing here where I want to say Darkness in All Things. I do think my writing style has improved greatly over time, so I think my stories have gotten better in that sense.
