as expected, I cried (again)

this brought back a lot of the same feelings and thoughts I had when the chapters released

new explanation section; it's fascinating to watch because it (and when it was Robin and Chopper) did the job of giving character and story background, which for a show as long and interwoven as One Piece, is actually quite useful, especially if there's a new viewership (of course, spoilers will be prominent)

I do not begrudge Saul being alive because (1) seeing Robin happy-cry was worth it, (2) having someone from Robin's past still be alive is a nice thing for her; not everyone you knew has died; I'm glad for that for her

I appreciated the explanation of the Vegapunks and how Punk Records works (I admit I didn't fully remember)

knowing about Kuma's backstory makes the "these three founded the Revolutionary Army" hit differently than when I read it

Dragon is certainly interesting

the scene where everyone's reacting to Shaka's story is still a fav

God, I knew it was coming, but watching Robin tear up over Saul still got me.

I just watch the latest one piece ep.1097 and damnnn MONKEY D. DRAGON 😮‍💨🩷 NGL I GOT HEART-FLUTTERING LISTENING THE WAY HE TALKS 😮‍💨 the way he walks too ahhhhhhh LIKE LOOK AT THAT MAJESTIC MAN. HIS RIZZ IS UNSPEAKABLE. NO WONDER HIS SON HAS IT TOO.

Also I notice the way dragon’s gaits are very similar with Luffy 😭😭 the way he sits down too 😭 some things do passed down to your child anyway.
