thoughts/reactions below! ahoy spoilers!

as expected, I cried (again)

this brought back a lot of the same feelings and thoughts I had when the chapters released

new explanation section; it's fascinating to watch because it (and when it was Robin and Chopper) did the job of giving character and story background, which for a show as long and interwoven as One Piece, is actually quite useful, especially if there's a new viewership (of course, spoilers will be prominent)

I do not begrudge Saul being alive because (1) seeing Robin happy-cry was worth it, (2) having someone from Robin's past still be alive is a nice thing for her; not everyone you knew has died; I'm glad for that for her

I appreciated the explanation of the Vegapunks and how Punk Records works (I admit I didn't fully remember)

knowing about Kuma's backstory makes the "these three founded the Revolutionary Army" hit differently than when I read it

Dragon is certainly interesting

the scene where everyone's reacting to Shaka's story is still a fav

God, I knew it was coming, but watching Robin tear up over Saul still got me.

ONE PIECE - EP. 1097

I just watch the latest one piece ep.1097 and damnnn MONKEY D. DRAGON 😮‍💨🩷 NGL I GOT HEART-FLUTTERING LISTENING THE WAY HE TALKS 😮‍💨 the way he walks too ahhhhhhh LIKE LOOK AT THAT MAJESTIC MAN. HIS RIZZ IS UNSPEAKABLE. NO WONDER HIS SON HAS IT TOO.

Also I notice the way dragon’s gaits are very similar with Luffy 😭😭 the way he sits down too 😭 some things do passed down to your child anyway.

Today's the day, I've finally caught up to ep 1097 🎉

Can't wait to see the insanity that is up ahead in the manga animated (no spoilers pls I'm anime only)

Dr. Stone: New World (Age of Exploration Arc) EP#40 (05) - Science Vessel Perseus: Even with Kaseki’s skills the ship proves impossible to assemble accurately. Ryusui recreates a scale model of a ship, allowing Senku to use a Pantograph to accurately copy the ship pieces to the accurate size and shapes. Ship construction begins running smoothly but the engine requires Senku’s absolute focus during its construction as a single mistake could cause an explosion. Almost a year later the ship is finished. As it may be the last time they are all together Minami insists on a commemorative photograph to mark the launching of the ship Perseus on the 10th of September, 5741 AD. After careful consideration the Perseus’ crew is made up of Ryusui, Senku, Chrome, Kaseki, Yuzuriha, Ukyo, Francois, Kohaku, Magma, Taiju, Nikki, Yo, Gen and Kinro. As they are too dangerous to leave behind Senku brings Hyoga and Homura in the ship's brig. Ginro fakes bravery by pretending to swim after the ship, hoping to impress Ruri, only to be hauled aboard by Taiju, dooming him to join the crew. Before starting the voyage to South America Senku intends to find the island where his father Byakuya returned to earth with the other astronauts and locate something vital for their mission, the crashed Soyuz rocket.
