💙Smoshblr December Asks Day 18💛

So I'm super into curating my closet and picking my day to day outfits according to the aesthetic vibe I'm currently feeling! (a bit pretentious? idk, it just genuinely helps me feel better, especially on days where I struggle to get out of bed) And there are so many pieces of clothing I absolutely love! Since it's holiday season I decided to go with some of the stuff I don't wear super regularly, but love whenever I get the chance to do so!

Also this post is gonna a bit long, so I'm gonna put my detailed answers below the cut 😅

but as a quick note on stuff that I usually wear... my top three fave clothing items are: Flannels, Skirts & Turtlenecks. (In warm seasons turtlenecks get switch with linen shirts) And also special shout-out to fandom inspired t-shirts & hoodies, that literally make up a good third of my closet❤️

Top 3 fave clothing items

Like I said before, I love!! Leather jackets! And I two of them are inspired by fandoms I am/was in! (First being a red leather one, that I don't have a pic of rn -> Emma from Once upon a time ❤️; and the second being the yellow one on the left, which I bought bc of my love for the Dirk Gently 💛 tv show!

2. The floral dress 🌺in the middle is literally my fave summer/warm spring dress bc it is a) super pretty and b) genuinely super comfortable to wear!

3. When I'm not wearing a dress or skirt (my beloveds <3) to a big family dinner or smth semi-serious like that; I love wearing a nice blouse 💚 + 🖤black jeans combo; And this is one of my fave blouses! (even tho it crinkles way too easily!!)

Special shoutouts to my yellow raincoat! (literally inspired by IT 2017, with Georgie's paper boat, a red balloon etc on it) Def my most worn item of clothing in the fall! And also to my turtlenecks (so soft and I don't even need to wear a scarf inside, to be more comfortable!) and my skirts! (most of them are rather old and handmade by my grandma and I treasure them very dearly!)

Moving on to my top 3 accessories:

Flower Crowns 🌺 -> are they a bit cringe and smth that should be considered a relic of the early tumblr days? Maybe, I don't care tho! I love them, and I even handmade a couple of the ones I wear regularly! (like the one in the picture below)

That sword necklace! ⚔️ It has two dragons wrapping around the blade and a rose-gold tone that goes super well with my glasses (and it's a sword!!! like I just love wearing lowkey fantasy themed stuff that I got from diff renfairs!)

3. This funky lil backpack 💛that I got for myself this year! I love collecting and putting pins on everything and this has really become my fave bag to carry around everywhere

13- one of which is 25 fics i posted as chapters for a holiday/seasonal themed december thing - most my early work is elsewhere and i didn't do any writing for a good chunk of years lolz

RWRB currently may dip my toes into 911 at some point (my only non-rwrb fic on ao3 is marvel lol)

i had always planned go back and do more for my darcy/clint fic and make it into a series, but those ideas that got written down lamented away in a doc and are gone now lol

um....i don't know do i have these - i can write smut fairly well

i usually hafta go back and make sure i didn't just get uber prose-y and included enough dialogue - unless i'm doing it on purpose

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

cool if it works for the character - i really like when there's a translation somewhere - unless it's obvious what it means

FINALLY first post of the new year let’s GOOOOOOOOO

Uhhhh mutuals and friends know that I’ve been obsessed with The Last Unicorn and specifically Schmendrick the magician so yeah

This drawing specifically is based on Ghost and Pal’s song “Star of the Show” which is one of my fave songs by them heheeh and it just reminded me of him !! I can’t find the quote because my bestie is borrowing my copy of the book but all the stuff is from where he’s doing tricks at the Midnight Carnival before freeing Amalthea in the book (turning a rabbit into a goldfish that drowned, cup of water into a handful of water, five of spades to a twelve of spades, and a rose into a radish seed, etc.!)

In general, I’ve bought and read all of his short stories, ordered pins and stickers galore and am consuming every fan theory/headcanon and piece of art related to him I just love him he’s so babygirl coded failguy and he’s my boyfriend !!!!!! 💙💚💕 I can never be normal about a character ever I swear teehee Schmendrick is my fave ///

Idk if I like how this came out but it’s digital art so yay! And fanart so double yay! I’ve been off school for the freezing temps and icy roads and also cause of a holiday so I’ve had more time to draw and I hope more practice means this year I will improve! Let’s hope at least (っ´ω｀c)

Nickname & nickname origins: Some people call me Ely but mostly everyone uses my full name.

Ao3: sad_chaos_goblin Haven't actually published anything (yet) but I might start soon ^^

Social media: i mostly use ig but it's a personal private acc

state country: Spain. I'm half English on my mum's side but I've never actually lived in the UK. I was born in Málaga, lived in Dublin for a bit and now I live in Barcelona.

pets: none right now, although I call my work bestie my Tamagotchi and she says she's my pet human, I keep snacks in my drawer cos she gets hungry often <3 Back when I was a kid we had a belgian shepherd and later on a samoyed, both the sweetest things ever. I miss them, dogs should live as long as humans :(

hobbies: reading (mostly I'm into fantasy and good omens fanfics right now but it changes every now and then), lyrical dance, aerial silks, pole dance and recently I'm getting into writing (inspired by GO)

Personality: I'm an extroverted introvert, I love spending time with people I like and I love getting to know new people I vibe with, but I need a lot of alone time, my social battery is limited and social interaction can feel very draining if I don't get alone time to recharge. I can be quite socially awkward and shy if I don't know people too well but once I'm comfortable around someone I get very giggly and silly. Favourite holiday: Hallowe'en. Big spooky fan, me. Mostly because it means autumn has arrived, it's my favourite season. Also love costume parties and roasted chestnuts (in the Catalunya region of Spain, where I live, it's tradition to have roasted chestnuts on the 31st).

Favourite food: hmm hard to choose. (Vegan) lasagna, mushroom risotto, curries, avocado toast, regular toast with margarine or olive oil, bread in general, i love bread!

Favourite colour: I'm not really sure I have a specific favourite colour but I generally prefer cool colours over warm ones.

#3 favorite line/scene you wrote this year

Ooh very hard to pick a fave! But I think I'll go from the last few lines of Only The Father You'll Be - a little oneshot exploring Din's thoughts while watching Grogu during both Sanctuary and The Return. Was nice to link their story back to Kuiil's words:

Din now knew the type of father he would be to Grogu. Until his dying day, he would protect the boy with every ounce of strength he possessed. Now, they finally had a home together, here on Nevarro. The Child that he had once been so determined to run from had – just as Kuiil once predicted – brought him a handsome reward. The greatest reward of them all… family.

#21 most memorable comment/review

Hard to choose! I don't think I've had any super unhinged ones (yet) but I remember a lot of people saying I was destroying them after this chapter of my long Dinbo fic. I get it, Bo broke Din emotionally and physically and then banished him from Mandalore. So I put people through it and I think a few people stopped reading after that chapter, but the comments were quite funny and I was cackling while reading them because I'm an evil writer who enjoys causing her audience pain!!

I didn't join the fun on here until quite late so I probably missed lots of fun, but I've been writing for Dincember this year and I've really enjoyed it! Writing every day has kept me sharp and the responses have been so lovely. Excited to hopefully participate in more next year!

Are there fandoms from the past I would like to return to: Yes! Frankie Morales! I have only written one thing for him (Jackpot, one of my faves) so far which is kind of ridiculous because I really enjoy him. He is starring in my current WIP and I am very excited about it!

Do I plan to write any seasonal fics: I do not. My writing inspiration comes and goes. I don’t feel like I can plan something like that and actually be able to follow through. If inspiration strikes though, who knows!

Is there a WIP I’m excited to write: YES! As mentioned above I am writing something with Frankie. It is the next installment of my Sweepstakes Porn star AU series (I really should call it a collection not a series). In past installments the Pedro boy has been the porn star, but this time Frankie is the winner! I am so excited to get back to writing it after the holiday craziness!

My favorite book was called "The host" by Stephenie Meyer💙. I started reading it when I was 12😁, I've read quite a few books since then but this one has always been my favourite🥰. There is also a movie but it is very different from the book🙃.

My favorite movie is " The Book Thief(2013)"

My favorite TV show was NCIS the one with the navy (because I've been out a lot😅). As a child I used to watch it at night before going to bed😄, I still like it a lot💙.

I like to eat, I have a lot of food that I like and it's hard to choose just one😉. I like: spaghetti with minced meat, pastitcio, meatballs with potatoes and ketchup, etc. I have many like that😁😅.

12. fave sound?

My favorite sound is the sound of rain☔. It calms me down and relaxes me when I'm not well😁. I have wished many times that it would rain in the summer but there were few times that my wish came true🙃💙.

14. fave drink?

I really love hot chocolate 🍫. Is my favorite🥰🥰. Hot sweet chocolate💘.

17. fave holiday?

Although I have never celebrated as much as I would like to🙃, my favorite holiday is Christmas 🎄💙.

21. fave animal?

In general I love all animals (that's why I studied it😁). My favorite animal will always be dogs. My best friend (and in the past was my only friend tho🤔) was a dog😄. Because of that I have a slight weakness for animals, and especially dogs🥰💙.
